摘要
安吉拉·卡特 (1940 - 1992 )是当代英国著名女作家 ,她从女性主义的视角出发 ,探讨了女性的生存状况。她在小说《新夏娃受难记》中生动而有力地说明 ,理想的两性关系并非是男女二元对立 ,而是超二元对立 ,即男女霸权话语均得到消解后两性完美的融合。只有这样 ,人类才能不再受难 ,而生活在一个幸福的世界。
Angela Carter,the famous contemporary British woman writer, discussed women's living conditions from a feminist point of view in her novel The Passion of New Eve.In her view, the ideal male and female relationship lies not in the binary opposition but beyond it, that is, in the perfect combination of male and female based on the elimination of their respective hegemonic discourses. Only in this way can human beings avoid suffering in the Passion but live in a happy world.
