摘要
本文从信息革命的角度探讨怎样认识、看待和使用互联网络以促进外国文学学术研究现代化的问题。作者认为 ,计算机技术在信息技术领域的革命对于外国文学研究来说突出地表现在基于互联网的资源数字化方面 ,如数字图书馆、外国文学专题网站、电子期刊和网络论坛等 ,并因此导致学术研究方法的革命。学术研究朝着信息化方向发展 ,迅速进入网络时代 ,技术含量不断增加。可以预言 ,在信息化时代 ,外国文学研究必然同互联网络结合 ,并借此推动学术研究的发展。
This article discusses, from the aspect of information revolution, the role that could be played by Internet in the modernization of foreign literature studies. The author argues that the revolution in information technology started with the use of computer also has its counterpart in foreign literature studies .The forms taken are digital library, homepages of foreign literature studies, electronic journals and BBS. These developments have brought about great changes of methodology in this discipline and have oriented its studies towards the direction of informatization. The article predicts that, with the coming of Internet times, the tendency of foreign literature studies to combine with Internet will not only promote the modernization of this particular branch of learning, but will also contribute to the development of humanity studies in general.
