The research situation and tendency of lubricant anti - wear extreme pressure additives were
brifly reviewed. So lubricant anti - wear extreme pressure additives were compared and summarized. Especially, it should be major project that boron - containing compound and rare earth compound as lubricant additives had wild application prospect in tribological field, and nanometer tribology was one of the most active fields on tribological chemistry in the future.
