摘要  中西服装文化之间的内涵有很大的差别,中国服装文化是一种单源性的文化,在其形成过程中,与中国的巫觋和礼乐文化有密切的联系,注重形的内涵,具有浓厚的社会政治伦理倾向。在其发展进程中,因袭、守旧,继承性与连续性远大于变异性与创新性。西方服装文化是一种多源性的文化,在其形成过程中,将服装视作一门特殊的人体艺术,注重形式,认为形式即内容。在其发展过程中,时代特征明显,风格变化昭然。变异与创新性远大于继承与连续性。 There are plenty of differences in the connotations of Chinese and Western dress cultures. This paper makes a comparison between the two dress cultures in their origins, background of formation, and evolution. Chinese dress culture, which has a single origin, has been influenced by Chinese magic culture and etiquette culture in the process of formation. It attaches great importance to the connotation of the dress form and tends to be closely associated with politics, ethics and hierarchy in China. In its process of development, there have been more succession and continuity than variation and innovation. On the contrary, Western dress culture, which has multiple origins, looks on the dress as a special art of human body, pays much attention to the dress form, and equates form with content. In its process of development, it has displayed its obvious style features in each era, with more variation and innovation than succession and continuity.
