摘要
Geography, as the name implies, is a discipline that studies the interaction, existing spatial differences and evolution process of each layer on the earths surface. Generally speaking, geography includes physical geography and human geography. Thus, the research scope of geography is closely related to our daily life. Life-oriented teaching is a direct manifestation of "life education". The application of life-oriented teaching mode in junior high school geography teaching can enrich teaching materials and reduce the learning difficulty of geography knowledge, which has brought important help to improve students learning effect. Therefore, the paper puts forward some suggestions on how to cultivate students core quality of geography through life-oriented teaching, hoping to be helpful to geography teaching.
