摘要
本文结合2006—2016年中国出口产品贸易数据和同期对外注意力配置指标,将世界遗迹数量和知名明星数量作为注意力配置的工具变量,以此探究注意力配置水平的变化对出口产品持续时间的潜在作用。研究发现,注意力配置对出口产品持续时间具有积极作用,这一作用对贸易不确定性更高的样本的影响更大。渠道研究表明,贸易不确定性是注意力配置影响出口产品持续时间的重要途径。此外,在考虑核心指标稳健性、出口贸易时间统计偏误、出口贸易轮次结构、模型设定和内生性等问题后,注意力配置对出口持续时间的作用依然稳健。本文结论的政策意义是,提高经济主体对世界的关注程度,培育国际化视野和国际化意识,是维系中国出口贸易关系和促进出口贸易结构优化的重要步骤。
This article combined China’s export product data and the external attention allocation indicators during 2006 to 2016,and used the number of world heritages and famous stars as the instrumental variables of attention allocation to explore the potential impact of the attention allocation on the duration of export products.The study finds that attention allocation has a positive effect on the duration of export products,and this effect has a greater impact on samples of higher trade uncertainty.Channel research shows that trade uncertainty is an important way through which attention allocation can impact duration of export products.In addition,after considering issues such as the robustness of core indicators,statistical errors in export trade duration,export trade round structure,model settings,and endogenousness,the effect of attention allocation on export duration is still robust.The conclusion of this article suggests that increasing the economic subjects’attention to the outside world and cultivating an international perspective and international awareness are important steps to maintain China’s export trade relations and promote the optimization of export trade structure.
