Objective:To investigate the clinicopathological characteristics and prognosis of triple-positive breast cancer(TPBC).Methods:The clinicopathological data of 130 patients with TPBC from September 2010 to September 2015 were retrospectively analyzed. Results:In our study,130 TPBC patients account for 13.10%of all breast cancers.63.08%of TPBC are overweight/obese patients(BMI≥24),and 52.31%of TPBC have chronic diseases. The most common complaint of TPBC patients was the presence of a breast mass(n=80,61.54%)rather than pain(10 cases,7.69%).The tumor was more common on the right side(n=75,57.69%).The most common site was the upper outer quadrant(n=58,44.62%).The most common pathological type is invasive ductal carcinoma(n=104,80.00%).The follow-up results showed that the local-recurrence rate was 9.23%(12 cases),and the distant-metastasis rate was 26.92%(35 cases). The site of most common metastasis is bone(n=24,68.57%),followed by lung(n=18,51.43%).Conclusions:The prognosis of TPBC patients is poor.TPBC is prone to occur distant metastasis. There is a tendency for early metastasis. It is necessary to comprehensively study on TPBC.
