摘要
口语语法与书面语语法是同一套语法为适应两种截然不同情景特征而衍生出的两种变体,在实际应用中互有交集。口语语法因其以声音为媒介、即时性的限制、共同的语境、互动性等而具有一些特点,如碎片化、结构简单、语序随意、特定共享语境的省略替代词、话语标记、模糊语使用等。随着互联网多种社交媒介的普及,网络语言应用越来越广泛,由于网络语言与口语语境相近,两者也具备相近特征。在口语语法教学中,重点强调在不同层面对英语口语和书面语两种表达方式进行分析比较,模拟或创造更多的生活中的会话场景练习,增强学习者对语言形式和功能的了解和感知,让学习者在交流中听得明白、说得自然、表现得自信。
Computerized language corpora have made it possible for linguists to study the grammatical features of the English spoken language.The grammar of speech,however,is not independent from the traditional grammar system.Spoken and written language share the same grammar and only differ in their implementation in the respective medium.Special grammatical forms in the spoken language like fragmentation,flexible word order,ellipsis,discourse markers,vague Language are derived from the unique characteristics of spoken medium and designed to facilitate the on-line production and real-time interaction in a shared context.The prevalence of Internet and mobile communication in the recent decades has given rise to a new variety of English which greatly differs from "standard" English.Many of the grammatical features of such Internet language are similar to that of spoken language.The teaching of spoken grammar should focus on helping students distinguish the different grammatical features between spoken and written English,showing them the context-bound value of the spoken grammatical devices by using authentic materials and creating more practice opportunities in "real-life" contexts,and ultimately helping them communicate appropriately,effectively and confidently in various contexts.
