世界各地的人们饱受各种皮肤疾病的困扰,皮肤疾病有不同的症状、体征和并发症,包括感染、疼痛,以及由于皮损暴露于皮肤表面,导致心理上的羞耻感。现代医学和本国传统医药为皮肤病患者提供了许多治疗方案。塔纳卡(Thanaka)是一种原产于缅甸的草药,可治疗多种皮肤疾病,在印度、斯里兰卡、爪哇和巴基斯坦等国家也有生产。对缅甸传统草药塔纳卡(Thanaka)在皮肤病治疗中的运用进行了概述。
Skin maladies affect populations worldwide and can have a vast range of symptoms,signs,and complications,including infection,pain,or even stigma for sufferers due to their visibility.Both modern health infrastructure and indigenous systems offer solutions for patients.This contribution provides an overview of the dermatologic uses for Thanaka,aplant that is used topically in Myanmar to treat a myriad of skin diseases.Indigenous to Myanmar,the trees used to produce Thanaka are also present in India,Sri Lanka,Java,and Pakistan.
