Mafic rocks generated from subduction settings have recorded valuable source information about the mantle source.In this study,we present a comprehensive analysis of zircon U–Pb dating,whole-rock major and trace elem...Mafic rocks generated from subduction settings have recorded valuable source information about the mantle source.In this study,we present a comprehensive analysis of zircon U–Pb dating,whole-rock major and trace elements,and Sr–Nd isotopic data for the mafic gabbro located in the Yumen area,on the western part of the Yangtze Block,South China,aiming to constrain the processes of mantle metaso-matism within subduction settings.U–Pb dating results for zircon yield crystallization ages of 800 Ma for type 1 mafic gabbro and 753–734 Ma for type 2 mafic gabbro.Type 1 mafic gabbro exhibits higher SiO_(2)(44.13%–48.93%)and Al_(2)O_(3)content but lower total Fe2O3 and MgO content than type 2 gabbro(SiO_(2):41.02%–43.28%).These gabbros dis-play a high-Mg^(#)signature(52.50–62.81 for type 1,50.89–57.04 for type 2),while they are enriched in significant large-ion lithophile elements(LILEs:Rb,Ba,Sr,K)and depleted in high-field-strength elements(HFSEs:Zr,Hf,Nd,Ta,Ti),which indicates an arc-like element signature.The positive whole-rockεNd(t)values(type 1:3.5–4.4,type 2:5.6–6.3)combined with a narrow range of(^(87)Sr/^(86)Sr)_(i)(type 1:0.7035–0.7043,type 2:0.7035–0.7036)of both gabbro types suggest a depleted lithospheric mantle origin.There-fore,these mafic rocks may derive from a metasomatized spinel lherzolite mantle source(with amphibole)due to the interactions of the deep mantle source and subductionfluid materials.We propose that the long-term metasomatism recorded by mafic gabbro in this study supports the fact that the subduction during the Neoproterozoic contributed to the formation of a metasomatized mantle source in the Yumen area,western Yangtze Block,South China.展开更多
Methane(CH_(4))is the second greenhouse gas and has a profound impact on global climate change due to its high global warming potential and concentration.By 2022,the CH_(4)concentration was approximately 1.9 ppm,which...Methane(CH_(4))is the second greenhouse gas and has a profound impact on global climate change due to its high global warming potential and concentration.By 2022,the CH_(4)concentration was approximately 1.9 ppm,which was 264%of the pre-industrial level.The spatiotemporal distribution of CH_(4)was investigated by a portable CH_(4)detector on an unmanned aerial vehicle and electric bicycles in Shaoxing,a city situated in the Yangtze River Delta,China.The vertical distribution revealed CH_(4)concentration generally decreased slowly with height.However,the inversion condition and low atmospheric boundary layer height(ABLH)leaded to the enhancement of CH_(4)with height.The highest CH_(4)concentration(2.2±0.1 ppm,n=1428)was observed in winter and the lowest(2.0±0.2 ppm,n=1530)in spring.Regarding the daily variation,CH_(4)concentration peaked at 5:00 local time(LT)and reached its lowest level at 14:00 LT,which was attributed to the daily variation of ABLH,lowest in the early morning and highest in the noon.In urban areas,CH_(4)concentrations showed higher levels near restaurants,natural gas stations and sewerage well,with a maximum value of 13.1 ppm,which was caused by CH_(4)emission and natural gas leakage from these places.The annual CH_(4)emission in Shaoxing were estimated to be approximately 69 ton/(km^(2)·year)by the mass balance approach.Compared with other cities in the world,the CH_(4)emission is in higher level which imply some control measures should be conducted to reduce CH_(4)emission in Shaoxing.展开更多

Results: The mean score of prehospital first aid knowledge of university students in Jingzhou City was 12.85 ± 2.643, the mean score of attitude was 50.73 ± 4.114, and the mean score of behavior was 39.05 ± 8.898;There was a statistically significant difference in the scores of prehospital first aid knowledge, attitude, and behavior of university students depending on whether or not they had received prehospital first aid training (P P Conclusion: Jingzhou University students have a positive attitude toward pre-hospital first aid, but the knowledge level and behavior are low, which suggests that the government, society and the school should create good conditions to promote the improvement of pre-hospital first aid knowledge and ability.展开更多
To analyze the differences in the transport and distribution of different types of proppants and to address issues such as the short effective support of proppant and poor placement in hydraulically intersecting fract...To analyze the differences in the transport and distribution of different types of proppants and to address issues such as the short effective support of proppant and poor placement in hydraulically intersecting fractures,this study considered the combined impact of geological-engineering factors on conductivity.Using reservoir production parameters and the discrete elementmethod,multispherical proppants were constructed.Additionally,a 3D fracture model,based on the specified conditions of the L block,employed coupled(Computational Fluid Dynamics)CFD-DEM(Discrete ElementMethod)for joint simulations to quantitatively analyze the transport and placement patterns of multispherical proppants in intersecting fractures.Results indicate that turbulent kinetic energy is an intrinsic factor affecting proppant transport.Moreover,the efficiency of placement and migration distance of low-sphericity quartz sand constructed by the DEM in the main fracture are significantly reduced compared to spherical ceramic proppants,with a 27.7%decrease in the volume fraction of the fracture surface,subsequently affecting the placement concentration and damaging fracture conductivity.Compared to small-angle fractures,controlling artificial and natural fractures to expand at angles of 45°to 60°increases the effective support length by approximately 20.6%.During hydraulic fracturing of gas wells,ensuring the fracture support area and post-closure conductivity can be achieved by controlling the sphericity of proppants and adjusting the perforation direction to control the direction of artificial fractures.展开更多

BACKGROUND The liver,as the main target organ for hematogenous metastasis of colorectal cancer,early and accurate prediction of liver metastasis is crucial for the diagnosis and treatment of patients.Herein,this study...BACKGROUND The liver,as the main target organ for hematogenous metastasis of colorectal cancer,early and accurate prediction of liver metastasis is crucial for the diagnosis and treatment of patients.Herein,this study aims to investigate the application value of a combined machine learning(ML)based model based on the multiparameter magnetic resonance imaging for prediction of rectal metachronous liver metastasis(MLM).AIM To investigate the efficacy of radiomics based on multiparametric magnetic resonance imaging images of preoperative first diagnosed rectal cancer in predicting MLM from rectal cancer.METHODS We retrospectively analyzed 301 patients with rectal cancer confirmed by surgical pathology at Jingzhou Central Hospital from January 2017 to December 2023.All participants were randomly assigned to the training or validation queue in a 7:3 ratio.We first apply generalized linear regression model(GLRM)and random forest model(RFM)algorithm to construct an MLM prediction model in the training queue,and evaluate the discriminative power of the MLM prediction model using area under curve(AUC)and decision curve analysis(DCA).Then,the robustness and generalizability of the MLM prediction model were evaluated based on the internal validation set between the validation queue groups.RESULTS Among the 301 patients included in the study,16.28%were ultimately diagnosed with MLM through pathological examination.Multivariate analysis showed that carcinoembryonic antigen,and magnetic resonance imaging radiomics were independent predictors of MLM.Then,the GLRM prediction model was developed with a comprehensive nomogram to achieve satisfactory differentiation.The prediction performance of GLRM in the training and validation queue was 0.765[95%confidence interval(CI):0.710-0.820]and 0.767(95%CI:0.712-0.822),respectively.Compared with GLRM,RFM achieved superior performance with AUC of 0.919(95%CI:0.868-0.970)and 0.901(95%CI:0.850-0.952)in the training and validation queue,respectively.The DCA indicated that the predictive ability and net profit of clinical RFM were improved.CONCLUSION By combining multiparameter magnetic resonance imaging with the effectiveness and robustness of ML-based predictive models,the proposed clinical RFM can serve as an insight tool for preoperative assessment of MLM risk stratification and provide important information for individual diagnosis and treatment of rectal cancer patients.展开更多

BACKGROUND Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma(PDAC)is a highly aggressive cancer with poor prognosis.When it metastasizes to the liver,treatment options become particularly limited and challenging.Current treatment opti...BACKGROUND Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma(PDAC)is a highly aggressive cancer with poor prognosis.When it metastasizes to the liver,treatment options become particularly limited and challenging.Current treatment options for liver metastatic PDAC are limited,and chemotherapy alone often proves insufficient.Immunotherapy,particularly programmed cell death 1(PD-1)inhibitors like sintilimab,shows potential efficacy for various cancers but has limited reports on PDAC.This study compares the efficacy and safety of sintilimab plus S-1 and gemcitabine vs S-1 and gemcitabine alone in liver metastatic PDAC.AIM To explore the feasibility and effectiveness of combined PD-1 inhibitor sintilimab and S-1 and gemcitabine(combination group)vs S-1 and gemcitabine used alone(chemotherapy group)for treating liver metastatic pancreatic adenocarcinoma.METHODS Eligible patients were those with only liver metastatic PDAC,an Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group performance status of 0-1,adequate organ and marrow functions,and no prior anticancer therapy.Participants in the combination group received intravenous sintilimab 200 mg every 3 weeks,oral S-140 mg/m²twice daily on days 1-14 of a 21-day cycle,and intravenous gemcitabine 1000 mg/m²on days 1 and 8 of the same cycle for up to eight cycles or until disease progression,death,or unacceptable toxicity.Participants in the chemotherapy group received oral S-140 mg/m²twice daily on days 1-14 of a 21-day cycle and intravenous gemcitabine 1000 mg/m²on days 1 and 8 of the same cycle for up to eight cycles.Between June 2020 and December 2021,66 participants were enrolled,with 32 receiving the combination treatment and 34 receiving chemotherapy alone.RESULTS The group receiving the combined therapy exhibited a markedly prolonged median overall survival(18.8 months compared to 10.3 months,P<0.05)and progression-free survival(9.6 months vs 5.4 months,P<0.05).compared to the chemotherapy group.The incidence of severe adverse events did not differ significantly between the two groups(P>0.05).CONCLUSION The combination of PD-1 inhibitor sintilimab with S-1 and gemcitabine demonstrated effectiveness and safety for treating liver metastatic PDAC,meriting further investigation.展开更多
To accurately analyze proppant transport in rough intersecting fractures and elucidate the interaction mechanisms among liquid,particles,and rough walls,this study reconstructed a numerical model of fractures in inhom...To accurately analyze proppant transport in rough intersecting fractures and elucidate the interaction mechanisms among liquid,particles,and rough walls,this study reconstructed a numerical model of fractures in inhomogeneous reservoirs with varying brittleness index(BI).Various auto-correlation Gaussian rough fracture models were created using Matlab to assess roughness through the fractal dimension method.This research innovatively combined Boolean operations to establish three-dimensional rough fracture models,incorporating(Computational Fluid Dynamics)CFD-DEM(Discrete Element Method)with a bidirectional method for cosimulation.The proppant transport in fractures was categorized into three zones based on the difference in the turbulent kinetic energy.Artificially induced fracture roughness increases fluid retention and turbulence,causing plugging effects and limiting proppant flow into branch fractures.Additionally,compared with the superior deposition and significant support effects of the spherical proppant,the low-sphericity proppant traveled farther under fracturing fluid,inducing more pronounced plugging near curved fracture intersections;the variation in fracture intersection angles primarily impacted the wall shear stress within the flow field,indicating smaller angles led to higher shear energy at the intersection.Compared with the intersection angle of 30°,the height and area deposited in the 90 branch fracture increased by 52.25%and 65.33%,respectively:notably,injecting proppant from smaller to larger particles(S:M:L)and a low velocity effectively ensured fracture conductivity near the wellbore at joint roughness coefficient(JRC)≥46 while achieving satis-factory placement in the branch fracture,making it a recommended approach.展开更多

The control group received routine health education, and the experimental group received health education based on the HAPA theory. Chronic disease self-efficacy scale, hospital anxiety and depression scale and skin disease quality of life scale were used to evaluate the effect of intervention. Results: After 3 months of intervention, the scores of self-efficacy in experimental group were higher than those in control group (P P Conclusion: Health education based on the theory of HAPA can enhance the self-efficacy of patients with type D personality psoriasis, relieve negative emotions and improve their quality of life.展开更多
In this paper,the vegetable field in the teaching base of College of Agriculture,Yangtze University was taken as the research object.The indoor simulation method was used to explore the effects of temperature and mois...In this paper,the vegetable field in the teaching base of College of Agriculture,Yangtze University was taken as the research object.The indoor simulation method was used to explore the effects of temperature and moisture on the phosphorus(P)bioavailability of vegetable soil.Three temperature gradients[T1(15℃),T2(25℃),T3(35℃)]and three humidity gradients[W1(40%),W2(70%),W3(100%)]were set in the test.The results showed that it could improve the contents of HCl-P,Enzyme-P,Citrate-P,and Olsen-P in vegetable soil by increasing soil moisture content;temperature rise was helpful to increase the contents of HCl-P and Olsen-P,but it could reduce the content of Citrate-P.The contents of Enzyme-P and CaCl 2-P were significantly affected by hydrothermal interaction.Within a certain range of soil temperature and humidity,temperature and moisture had a positive coupling effect on soil P bioavailability components,and significantly affected soil P supply capacity.展开更多
As shale gas technology has advanced,the horizontal well fracturing model has seen widespread use,leading to substantial improvements in industrial gas output from shale gas wells.Nevertheless,a swift decline in the p...As shale gas technology has advanced,the horizontal well fracturing model has seen widespread use,leading to substantial improvements in industrial gas output from shale gas wells.Nevertheless,a swift decline in the productivity of individual wells remains a challenge that must be addressed throughout the development process.In this study,gas wells with two different wellbore trajectory structures are considered,and the OLGA software is exploited to perform transient calculations on various tubing depth models.The results can be articulated as follows.In terms of flow patterns:for the deep well A1(upward-buckled),slug flow occurs in the Kick-off Point position and above;for the deep well B1(downward-inclined),slug flow only occurs in the horizontal section.Wells with downward-inclined horizontal sections are more prone to liquid accumulation issues.In terms of comparison to conventional wells,it is shown that deep shale gas wells have longer normal production durations and experience liquid accumulation later than conventional wells.With regard to optimal tubing placement:for well A1(upward-buckled),it is recommended to place tubing at the Kick-off Point position;for well B1(downward-inclined),it is recommended to place tubing at the lower heel of the horizontal section.Finally,in terms of production performance:well A1(upward-buckled)outperforms well B1(downward-inclined)in terms of production and fluid accumulation.In particular,the deep well A1 is 1.94 times more productive and 1.3 times longer to produce than conventional wells.Deep well B1 is 1.87 times more productive and 1.34 times longer than conventional wells.展开更多

文摘The development of Internet finance has made the financial environment faced by college students more complicated.The level of financial literacy best reflects a person's sensitivity to the financial environment and flexibility to respond to financial events.Therefore,to improve the financial literacy of college students,popularizing financial knowledge is bound to become the key content of general education and teaching work in contemporary colleges and universities.In this article,taking 400 undergraduates from Yangtze University as the research object,the participation in online lending and the mastery of financial knowledge were investigated and analyzed,then the current teaching situation of financial literacy courses was introduced,and finally,a number of suggestions to improve the teaching reform of financial literacy were put forward.
文摘Under the macro background of rapid urbanization and social transformation in China,campus space renewal has become an important practice and carrier for the sustainable development of schools.The study on campus space by big data and quantitative reflection of spatial distribution of applicable people in different areas of the campus can provide a certain scientific basis for campus space updating.West campus of Yangtze University is taken as research object.Based on cognitive map method,questionnaire survey method,behavior trajectory and correlation analysis method,the types and characteristics of campus space composition,campus satisfaction,usage and its relevance are analyzed.Research results show that ①the overall imageability of campus space is higher,which has a significantly positive correlation with the satisfaction of campus environment,and has no correlation with users’ behavior activities.The use frequency of non teaching areas varies greatly in different periods of time.②The correlation between the surrounding green vegetation and the image degree of campus landmarks is the most significant,and the coefficient is 0.886.③The correlation between spatial size suitability and regional image degree is the most significant,and the coefficient is 0.937.④The correlation between public activity facilities in the region and node image degree is the most significant,and the coefficient is 0.995.According to the research results,the corresponding solutions are put forward to provide scientific and quantitative reference suggestions for the renewal and transformation of the campus.

文摘Against the dual background of deepening the construction of new liberal arts and implementing the"Double Ten Thousand Plan"for first-class undergraduate courses,local universities urgently need to explore distinctive curriculum construction paths.Based on the requirements of the new liberal arts connotation,this paper constructs a three-dimensional integrated framework of"value guidance,ability driven,and knowledge foundation",and takes the construction of the"Finance"course at Yangtze University as a typical case for research.When systematically analyzing the"Finance"course in the school,a three-dimensional integrated curriculum reform practice is implemented by reshaping the three-level curriculum objectives of"state-society-individual",developing teaching content that integrates"modularization-localization-cutting-edge",using the"O-PRAISE"situational teaching method,and constructing a diversified collaborative evaluation system.A first-class curriculum construction model for local universities has been summarized,which involves five collaborative approaches:"localization"of target positioning,"integration"of content construction,"contextualization"of method implementation,"value-added"evaluation orientation,and"synergy"of resource guarantee.The aim is to provide theoretical paradigms and practical solutions for similar universities to learn from,effectively solving practical difficulties such as the disconnect between value shaping and knowledge transmission,and the mismatch between talent cultivation and local needs in curriculum construction.

文摘Mafic rocks generated from subduction settings have recorded valuable source information about the mantle source.In this study,we present a comprehensive analysis of zircon U–Pb dating,whole-rock major and trace elements,and Sr–Nd isotopic data for the mafic gabbro located in the Yumen area,on the western part of the Yangtze Block,South China,aiming to constrain the processes of mantle metaso-matism within subduction settings.U–Pb dating results for zircon yield crystallization ages of 800 Ma for type 1 mafic gabbro and 753–734 Ma for type 2 mafic gabbro.Type 1 mafic gabbro exhibits higher SiO_(2)(44.13%–48.93%)and Al_(2)O_(3)content but lower total Fe2O3 and MgO content than type 2 gabbro(SiO_(2):41.02%–43.28%).These gabbros dis-play a high-Mg^(#)signature(52.50–62.81 for type 1,50.89–57.04 for type 2),while they are enriched in significant large-ion lithophile elements(LILEs:Rb,Ba,Sr,K)and depleted in high-field-strength elements(HFSEs:Zr,Hf,Nd,Ta,Ti),which indicates an arc-like element signature.The positive whole-rockεNd(t)values(type 1:3.5–4.4,type 2:5.6–6.3)combined with a narrow range of(^(87)Sr/^(86)Sr)_(i)(type 1:0.7035–0.7043,type 2:0.7035–0.7036)of both gabbro types suggest a depleted lithospheric mantle origin.There-fore,these mafic rocks may derive from a metasomatized spinel lherzolite mantle source(with amphibole)due to the interactions of the deep mantle source and subductionfluid materials.We propose that the long-term metasomatism recorded by mafic gabbro in this study supports the fact that the subduction during the Neoproterozoic contributed to the formation of a metasomatized mantle source in the Yumen area,western Yangtze Block,South China.

文摘Methane(CH_(4))is the second greenhouse gas and has a profound impact on global climate change due to its high global warming potential and concentration.By 2022,the CH_(4)concentration was approximately 1.9 ppm,which was 264%of the pre-industrial level.The spatiotemporal distribution of CH_(4)was investigated by a portable CH_(4)detector on an unmanned aerial vehicle and electric bicycles in Shaoxing,a city situated in the Yangtze River Delta,China.The vertical distribution revealed CH_(4)concentration generally decreased slowly with height.However,the inversion condition and low atmospheric boundary layer height(ABLH)leaded to the enhancement of CH_(4)with height.The highest CH_(4)concentration(2.2±0.1 ppm,n=1428)was observed in winter and the lowest(2.0±0.2 ppm,n=1530)in spring.Regarding the daily variation,CH_(4)concentration peaked at 5:00 local time(LT)and reached its lowest level at 14:00 LT,which was attributed to the daily variation of ABLH,lowest in the early morning and highest in the noon.In urban areas,CH_(4)concentrations showed higher levels near restaurants,natural gas stations and sewerage well,with a maximum value of 13.1 ppm,which was caused by CH_(4)emission and natural gas leakage from these places.The annual CH_(4)emission in Shaoxing were estimated to be approximately 69 ton/(km^(2)·year)by the mass balance approach.Compared with other cities in the world,the CH_(4)emission is in higher level which imply some control measures should be conducted to reduce CH_(4)emission in Shaoxing.
文摘Objective: To understand the current situation of prehospital first aid knowledge, attitude and behavior of university students in Jingzhou City. Methods: A prehospital first aid knowledge questionnaire and the convenience sampling method were used to survey 307 university students in Jingzhou City. Results: The mean score of prehospital first aid knowledge of university students in Jingzhou City was 12.85 ± 2.643, the mean score of attitude was 50.73 ± 4.114, and the mean score of behavior was 39.05 ± 8.898;There was a statistically significant difference in the scores of prehospital first aid knowledge, attitude, and behavior of university students depending on whether or not they had received prehospital first aid training (P P Conclusion: Jingzhou University students have a positive attitude toward pre-hospital first aid, but the knowledge level and behavior are low, which suggests that the government, society and the school should create good conditions to promote the improvement of pre-hospital first aid knowledge and ability.

文摘To analyze the differences in the transport and distribution of different types of proppants and to address issues such as the short effective support of proppant and poor placement in hydraulically intersecting fractures,this study considered the combined impact of geological-engineering factors on conductivity.Using reservoir production parameters and the discrete elementmethod,multispherical proppants were constructed.Additionally,a 3D fracture model,based on the specified conditions of the L block,employed coupled(Computational Fluid Dynamics)CFD-DEM(Discrete ElementMethod)for joint simulations to quantitatively analyze the transport and placement patterns of multispherical proppants in intersecting fractures.Results indicate that turbulent kinetic energy is an intrinsic factor affecting proppant transport.Moreover,the efficiency of placement and migration distance of low-sphericity quartz sand constructed by the DEM in the main fracture are significantly reduced compared to spherical ceramic proppants,with a 27.7%decrease in the volume fraction of the fracture surface,subsequently affecting the placement concentration and damaging fracture conductivity.Compared to small-angle fractures,controlling artificial and natural fractures to expand at angles of 45°to 60°increases the effective support length by approximately 20.6%.During hydraulic fracturing of gas wells,ensuring the fracture support area and post-closure conductivity can be achieved by controlling the sphericity of proppants and adjusting the perforation direction to control the direction of artificial fractures.
文摘This study aims to evaluate the performance of six distinct Z-score formulas in diagnosing coronary artery dilation in Kawasaki disease(KD)patients,with a focus on their clinical applicability across diverse populations.A retrospective analysis was conducted using comparative statistical methods to assess the sensitivity and specificity of each formula.The Kobayashi and Dallaire formulas demonstrated the highest sensitivity in China,particularly in younger patients with prolonged fever duration.Our findings provide evidence-based recommend-ations for selecting Z-score formulas to optimize diagnostic precision in KD patients.
文摘Helicobacter pylori(H.pylori)infection plays a critical role in gastric diseases,impacting the microbiota structure in gastric and duodenal ulcers.In their study,Jin et al utilized metagenomic sequencing to analyze mucosal samples from patients with ulcers and healthy controls,revealing significant changes in microbial diversity and composition.This article reviews their findings,emphasizing H.pylori’s role in gastric ulcers and the need for further research on its impact on duodenal ulcers.We evaluate the study’s strengths and limitations,suggesting future research directions to enhance our understanding of H.pylori’s contribution to ulcerative diseases.

文摘As light metals,aluminum and magnesium have been widely used in automotive manufacturing,but the welding of Al/Mg joints is facing challenges.However,it is difficult to obtain high-quality aluminum/magnesium joints with traditional arc welding methods.As a solid-phase welding technology,ultrasonic metal welding has the characteristics of high welding efficiency and less welded defects.It is also suitable for welding sound metal bonds.Aluminum and magnesium ultrasonic welding has become a research hotspot.Therefore,the evolution of microstructures and mechanical performance of Al/Mg and multi-layer Al/Mg ultrasonic welding,and the new study works,including the molecular dynamic simulation of Al/Mg ultrasonic welding and hybrid based on ultrasonic welding are summarized.Furthermore,several promising research directions are proposed to guide in-depth investigations into the ultrasonic welding of Al/Mg dissimilar joints.
文摘Kawasaki disease(KD)is a critical pediatric vasculitis with potentially severe cardiovascular outcomes if left untreated.Alanine aminotransferase(ALT)levels,which primarily indicate hepatic injury,are frequently elevated in patients with KD,suggesting systemic inflammation and liver involvement.This editorial explores the multifaceted relationship between KD and ALT elevation,emphasizing the importance of monitoring ALT levels to gauge disease severity and tailor therapeutic interventions.The comprehensive evaluation and integration of ALT monitoring into routine clinical practice can improve patient outcomes by identifying high-risk patients early and guiding timely and appropriate management strategies.
文摘BACKGROUND The liver,as the main target organ for hematogenous metastasis of colorectal cancer,early and accurate prediction of liver metastasis is crucial for the diagnosis and treatment of patients.Herein,this study aims to investigate the application value of a combined machine learning(ML)based model based on the multiparameter magnetic resonance imaging for prediction of rectal metachronous liver metastasis(MLM).AIM To investigate the efficacy of radiomics based on multiparametric magnetic resonance imaging images of preoperative first diagnosed rectal cancer in predicting MLM from rectal cancer.METHODS We retrospectively analyzed 301 patients with rectal cancer confirmed by surgical pathology at Jingzhou Central Hospital from January 2017 to December 2023.All participants were randomly assigned to the training or validation queue in a 7:3 ratio.We first apply generalized linear regression model(GLRM)and random forest model(RFM)algorithm to construct an MLM prediction model in the training queue,and evaluate the discriminative power of the MLM prediction model using area under curve(AUC)and decision curve analysis(DCA).Then,the robustness and generalizability of the MLM prediction model were evaluated based on the internal validation set between the validation queue groups.RESULTS Among the 301 patients included in the study,16.28%were ultimately diagnosed with MLM through pathological examination.Multivariate analysis showed that carcinoembryonic antigen,and magnetic resonance imaging radiomics were independent predictors of MLM.Then,the GLRM prediction model was developed with a comprehensive nomogram to achieve satisfactory differentiation.The prediction performance of GLRM in the training and validation queue was 0.765[95%confidence interval(CI):0.710-0.820]and 0.767(95%CI:0.712-0.822),respectively.Compared with GLRM,RFM achieved superior performance with AUC of 0.919(95%CI:0.868-0.970)and 0.901(95%CI:0.850-0.952)in the training and validation queue,respectively.The DCA indicated that the predictive ability and net profit of clinical RFM were improved.CONCLUSION By combining multiparameter magnetic resonance imaging with the effectiveness and robustness of ML-based predictive models,the proposed clinical RFM can serve as an insight tool for preoperative assessment of MLM risk stratification and provide important information for individual diagnosis and treatment of rectal cancer patients.

文摘Kawasaki disease(KD)is a significant pediatric vasculitis known for its potential to cause severe coronary artery complications.Despite the effectiveness of initial treatments,such as intravenous immunoglobulin,KD patients can experience long-term cardiovascular issues,as evidenced by a recent case report of an adult who suffered a ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction due to previous KD in the World Journal of Clinical Cases.This editorial emphasizes the critical need for long-term management and regular surveillance to prevent such complications.By drawing on recent research and case studies,we advocate for a structured approach to follow-up care that includes routine cardiac evaluations and preventive measures.
文摘BACKGROUND Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma(PDAC)is a highly aggressive cancer with poor prognosis.When it metastasizes to the liver,treatment options become particularly limited and challenging.Current treatment options for liver metastatic PDAC are limited,and chemotherapy alone often proves insufficient.Immunotherapy,particularly programmed cell death 1(PD-1)inhibitors like sintilimab,shows potential efficacy for various cancers but has limited reports on PDAC.This study compares the efficacy and safety of sintilimab plus S-1 and gemcitabine vs S-1 and gemcitabine alone in liver metastatic PDAC.AIM To explore the feasibility and effectiveness of combined PD-1 inhibitor sintilimab and S-1 and gemcitabine(combination group)vs S-1 and gemcitabine used alone(chemotherapy group)for treating liver metastatic pancreatic adenocarcinoma.METHODS Eligible patients were those with only liver metastatic PDAC,an Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group performance status of 0-1,adequate organ and marrow functions,and no prior anticancer therapy.Participants in the combination group received intravenous sintilimab 200 mg every 3 weeks,oral S-140 mg/m²twice daily on days 1-14 of a 21-day cycle,and intravenous gemcitabine 1000 mg/m²on days 1 and 8 of the same cycle for up to eight cycles or until disease progression,death,or unacceptable toxicity.Participants in the chemotherapy group received oral S-140 mg/m²twice daily on days 1-14 of a 21-day cycle and intravenous gemcitabine 1000 mg/m²on days 1 and 8 of the same cycle for up to eight cycles.Between June 2020 and December 2021,66 participants were enrolled,with 32 receiving the combination treatment and 34 receiving chemotherapy alone.RESULTS The group receiving the combined therapy exhibited a markedly prolonged median overall survival(18.8 months compared to 10.3 months,P<0.05)and progression-free survival(9.6 months vs 5.4 months,P<0.05).compared to the chemotherapy group.The incidence of severe adverse events did not differ significantly between the two groups(P>0.05).CONCLUSION The combination of PD-1 inhibitor sintilimab with S-1 and gemcitabine demonstrated effectiveness and safety for treating liver metastatic PDAC,meriting further investigation.
文摘To accurately analyze proppant transport in rough intersecting fractures and elucidate the interaction mechanisms among liquid,particles,and rough walls,this study reconstructed a numerical model of fractures in inhomogeneous reservoirs with varying brittleness index(BI).Various auto-correlation Gaussian rough fracture models were created using Matlab to assess roughness through the fractal dimension method.This research innovatively combined Boolean operations to establish three-dimensional rough fracture models,incorporating(Computational Fluid Dynamics)CFD-DEM(Discrete Element Method)with a bidirectional method for cosimulation.The proppant transport in fractures was categorized into three zones based on the difference in the turbulent kinetic energy.Artificially induced fracture roughness increases fluid retention and turbulence,causing plugging effects and limiting proppant flow into branch fractures.Additionally,compared with the superior deposition and significant support effects of the spherical proppant,the low-sphericity proppant traveled farther under fracturing fluid,inducing more pronounced plugging near curved fracture intersections;the variation in fracture intersection angles primarily impacted the wall shear stress within the flow field,indicating smaller angles led to higher shear energy at the intersection.Compared with the intersection angle of 30°,the height and area deposited in the 90 branch fracture increased by 52.25%and 65.33%,respectively:notably,injecting proppant from smaller to larger particles(S:M:L)and a low velocity effectively ensured fracture conductivity near the wellbore at joint roughness coefficient(JRC)≥46 while achieving satis-factory placement in the branch fracture,making it a recommended approach.
文摘This study examines the translation methods employed by Xu Yuanchong in his English translation of the Chu ci with a specific focus on the treatment of reduplicatives.Reduplicatives in the Chinese language,known for their intricate nature of meaning and rhythmic qualities,pose a great challenge in translation due to the lack of equivalent structures in English.The paper investigates how Xu Yuanchong navigates these challenges by employing various strategies,including repetition,onomatopoeia,paraphrase,and literal translation without formal equivalence.Through an analysis of selected examples,the research highlights the difficulties of balancing Xu’s Three Beauties Principle,namely the beauty in sense,sound,and form in translating reduplicatives.The research findings are that,while Xu’s translations sometimes require compromises in sound and form,his nuanced approach ensures that the essence and emotional depth of the original text are effectively conveyed to target readers.This study may contribute to a deeper understanding of the complexities involved in translating classical Chinese poetry and offer insights into the interplay between linguistic and cultural elements in literary translation.
文摘Objective: To explore the effect of Health Action Process Approach (HAPA) theory in patients with type D personality psoriasis. Methods: A total of 66 patients with type D personality psoriasis admitted to the dermatology department of a top-three hospital in Jingzhou City from November 2022 to July 2023 were selected and divided into control group and test group with 33 cases in each group by random number table method. The control group received routine health education, and the experimental group received health education based on the HAPA theory. Chronic disease self-efficacy scale, hospital anxiety and depression scale and skin disease quality of life scale were used to evaluate the effect of intervention. Results: After 3 months of intervention, the scores of self-efficacy in experimental group were higher than those in control group (P P Conclusion: Health education based on the theory of HAPA can enhance the self-efficacy of patients with type D personality psoriasis, relieve negative emotions and improve their quality of life.

文摘In this paper,the vegetable field in the teaching base of College of Agriculture,Yangtze University was taken as the research object.The indoor simulation method was used to explore the effects of temperature and moisture on the phosphorus(P)bioavailability of vegetable soil.Three temperature gradients[T1(15℃),T2(25℃),T3(35℃)]and three humidity gradients[W1(40%),W2(70%),W3(100%)]were set in the test.The results showed that it could improve the contents of HCl-P,Enzyme-P,Citrate-P,and Olsen-P in vegetable soil by increasing soil moisture content;temperature rise was helpful to increase the contents of HCl-P and Olsen-P,but it could reduce the content of Citrate-P.The contents of Enzyme-P and CaCl 2-P were significantly affected by hydrothermal interaction.Within a certain range of soil temperature and humidity,temperature and moisture had a positive coupling effect on soil P bioavailability components,and significantly affected soil P supply capacity.
文摘As shale gas technology has advanced,the horizontal well fracturing model has seen widespread use,leading to substantial improvements in industrial gas output from shale gas wells.Nevertheless,a swift decline in the productivity of individual wells remains a challenge that must be addressed throughout the development process.In this study,gas wells with two different wellbore trajectory structures are considered,and the OLGA software is exploited to perform transient calculations on various tubing depth models.The results can be articulated as follows.In terms of flow patterns:for the deep well A1(upward-buckled),slug flow occurs in the Kick-off Point position and above;for the deep well B1(downward-inclined),slug flow only occurs in the horizontal section.Wells with downward-inclined horizontal sections are more prone to liquid accumulation issues.In terms of comparison to conventional wells,it is shown that deep shale gas wells have longer normal production durations and experience liquid accumulation later than conventional wells.With regard to optimal tubing placement:for well A1(upward-buckled),it is recommended to place tubing at the Kick-off Point position;for well B1(downward-inclined),it is recommended to place tubing at the lower heel of the horizontal section.Finally,in terms of production performance:well A1(upward-buckled)outperforms well B1(downward-inclined)in terms of production and fluid accumulation.In particular,the deep well A1 is 1.94 times more productive and 1.3 times longer to produce than conventional wells.Deep well B1 is 1.87 times more productive and 1.34 times longer than conventional wells.
