The article includes an analysis of economic growth and alternative growth paths. The article is focused on the concepts of de-linking, re-linking and de-growth. We connected linking analysis (de-linking and re-linking) analytically to the de-growth debate. On the basis of our framework, special cases of de-growth in the linking process relate to strong re-linking, weak re-linking and recessive de-linking. This kind of theoretical approach helps us to define the special nature of de-growth. Key finding of us is that only the de-growth case of recessive de-linking meets the condition of environmental sustainability. However, this case does not fulfil the criteria of sustainable development defined in the WCSD context. In the linking process, the WCSD conditions of sustainable development are met in the strong de-linking process only. In our analytical framework, the theoretical concepts of de-growth and sustainable development seem to conflict by definition. 展开更多

Background University students are internationally recognized as a population at risk due to unhealthy lifestyle behaviors and elevated health risks.Supporting positive behavioral change requires understanding their intentions to adopt healthier habits. This study aimed to psychometrically evaluate and culturally validate the healthy lifestyle intention scale(HLIS)in three countries and regions. Methods A cross-sectional methodological study was conducted in 2023 among university students in Finland(n=753),Singapore(n=750),and Hong Kong,China(n=767).The HLIS was developed based on the Adherence to Treatment of Patients with Chronic Disease Instrument.Psychometric evaluation included Spearman'sρ,Cronbach'sɑ,and both exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses. Results Findings from all three countries and regions indicated that Spearman'sρvalues ranged from weak to high across the dimensions of self-readiness(0.23–0.69),family support(0.42–0.78),peer support(0.48–0.80),and social media influence(0.48–0.80).Cronbach'sɑvalues demonstrated acceptable internal consistency(0.41–0.92).Structural validity was supported by confirmatory factor analysis. While the Finnish model suggested a need for further refinement(comparative fit index[CFI]=0.81,root mean square error of approximation[RMSEA]=0.11),the models for Singapore(CFI=0.92,RMSEA=0.07)and Hong Kong,China(CFI=0.92,RMSEA=0.07)showed strong fit indices. Conclusion The current version of the HLIS demonstrates promising psychometric properties for assessing health-related behavioral intentions among university students in a cross-cultural context.Further validation with more diverse international samples is recommended. 展开更多

The challenges of disruptive innovations have gained significant attention from both academics and practitioners, commercialization being one of the most critical phases. At the same time, however,it is the less studied area of disruptive innovation. Therefore, this article examined scholarly papers on the commercialization of disruptive innovations through a multidisciplinary systematic literature review. It resulted in the analysis of 64 high-quality peer-reviewed academic articles. The analysis highlighted the commercialization models and main constructs that are affecting the commercialization process:market orientation, market learning, user’s involvement, market configuration, adoption networks and stakeholders, and innovation transference. The study evidences how commercialization has evolved from a later stage in innovation to influence even the early phases of innovation, characterized in turn by exploration, learning and ecosystem creation activities.Additionally, the analysis led to a proposition that established an integrated commercialization model for high uncertainty innovations. The model has three phases:1)Concept/value proposition validation,2)Business model validation&Market creation, and 3)Creating sales in the majority market.Lastly, the article contributes to a better understanding of commercialization processes in high uncertainty innovations, bridging also the academic-practitioner divide. 展开更多
