The stability and electrocatalytic efficiency of transition metal oxides for water splitting is determined by geometric and electronic structure,especially under high current densities.Herein,a newly designed lamella-heterostructured nanoporous CoFe/CoFe_(2)O_(4) and CeO_(2−x),in situ grown on nickel foam(NF),holds great promise as a high-efficient bifunctional electrocatalyst(named R-CoFe/Ce/NF)for water splitting.Experimental characterization verifies surface reconstruction from CoFe alloy/oxide to highly active CoFeOOH during in situ electrochemical polarization.By virtues of three-dimensional nanoporous architecture and abundant electroactive CoFeOOH/CeO_(2−x) heterostructure interfaces,the R-CoFe/Ce/NF electrode achieves low overpotentials for oxygen evolution(η_(10)=227 mV;η_(500)=450 mV)and hydrogen evolution(η_(10)=35 mV;η_(408)=560 mV)reactions with high normalized electrochemical active surface areas,respectively.Additionally,the alkaline full water splitting electrolyzer of R-CoFe/Ce/NF||R-CoFe/Ce/NF achieves a current density of 50 mA·cm^(−2) only at 1.75 V;the decline of activity is satisfactory after 100-h durability test at 300 mA·cm^(−2).Density functional theory also demonstrates that the electron can transfer from CeO_(2−x) by virtue of O atom to CoFeOOH at CoFeOOH/CeO_(2−x) heterointerfaces and enhancing the adsorption of reactant,thus optimizing electronic structure and Gibbs free energies for the improvement of the activity for water splitting. 展开更多

A Software Defect Prediction Method Using a Multivariate Heterogeneous Hybrid Deep Learning Algorithm

Software defect prediction plays a critical role in software development and quality assurance processes. Effective defect prediction enables testers to accurately prioritize testing efforts and enhance defect detection efficiency. Additionally, this technology provides developers with a means to quickly identify errors, thereby improving software robustness and overall quality. However, current research in software defect prediction often faces challenges, such as relying on a single data source or failing to adequately account for the characteristics of multiple coexisting data sources. This approach may overlook the differences and potential value of various data sources, affecting the accuracy and generalization performance of prediction results. To address this issue, this study proposes a multivariate heterogeneous hybrid deep learning algorithm for defect prediction (DP-MHHDL). Initially, Abstract Syntax Tree (AST), Code Dependency Network (CDN), and code static quality metrics are extracted from source code files and used as inputs to ensure data diversity. Subsequently, for the three types of heterogeneous data, the study employs a graph convolutional network optimization model based on adjacency and spatial topologies, a Convolutional Neural Network-Bidirectional Long Short-Term Memory (CNN-BiLSTM) hybrid neural network model, and a TabNet model to extract data features. These features are then concatenated and processed through a fully connected neural network for defect prediction. Finally, the proposed framework is evaluated using ten promise defect repository projects, and performance is assessed with three metrics: F1, Area under the curve (AUC), and Matthews correlation coefficient (MCC). The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm outperforms existing methods, offering a novel solution for software defect prediction. 展开更多

Retaining satisfactory electrocatalytic performance under high current density plays a crucial role in industrial water splitting but is still limited to the enormous energy loss because of insufficient exposure of active sites caused by the blocked mass/charge transportation at this condition.Herein,we present a freestanding lamellar nanoporous Ni-Co-Mn alloy electrode(Lnp-NCM)designed by a refined variant of the“dealloying-coarsening-dealloying”protocol for highly efficient bifunctional electrocatalyst,where large porous channels distribute on the surface and small porous channels at the interlayer.With its 3D lamellar architecture regulating,the electrocatalytic properties of the electrodes with different distances between lamellas are compared,and faster energy conversion kinetics is achieved with efficient bubble transport channels and abundant electroactive sites.Note that the optimized sample(Lnp-NCM4)is expected to be a potential bifunctional electrocatalyst with low overpotentials of 258 and 439 mV at high current densities of 1000 and 900 mA·cm^(-2)for hydrogen and oxygen evolution reactions(HER and OER),respectively.During overall water splitting in a two-electrode cell with Lnp-NCM4 as cathode and anode,it only needs an ultralow cell voltage of 1.75 V to produce 100 mA·cm^(-2)with remarkable long-term stability over 50 h.This study on lamellar nanoporous electrode design approaches industrial water splitting requirements and paves a way for developing other catalytic systems. 展开更多

The contrast experiment of different stirring modes,which includes a new type of stirring-injection with the method of pulse and rotation,and the initial one-way stirring method,is done through physical simulation in the laboratory.The stirring methods of pulse and rotation are of two kinds.One is pulsed and rotary stirrer with positive and opposite directions.The other is pulsed and rotary stirrer with rotation-stop-rotation.The results show that the stirring mode of pulse and rotation has better effects than the one-way stirring method.The specific effects are that the mixing time of the melting bath is apparently shortened,the number of grains involved in the liquid surface is increased,and the residence time of air bubble in water is doubled. 展开更多

Wire arc-directed energy deposition(WADED)has shown great advantages and potential in fabricating large-scale aluminum(Al)alloy components.However,WADED Al alloys typically exhibit low strength and reliability due to pore defects and lack of work hardening or precipitation strengthening.This study utilized a combination of laser shock peening(LSP)and annealing to regulate the microstructure of WADED Al-Mg4.5Mn alloy and enhance mechanical properties.The effects of LSP and annealing on phase composition,pore distribution,and microstructures at multiple scales were systematically investigated to reveal the mechanical property improving mechanism.The results demonstrated that LSP-induced plastic deformation formed a defect-free zone by closing near-surface pore defects.LSP created the hardened layer with gradient mechanical properties by inducing gradient changes in grain size,the number of low-angle grain boundaries(LAGBs),and dislocation density along the depth direction.The annealing process promoted grain coarsening and reduced excessive dislocations and LAGBs,weakening the work harden-ing effect caused by LSP.Furthermore,the high-density dislocations and high stored energy generated by LSP accelerated the recrystallization,facilitating growth of near-surface grains.The defect-free zone,dislocation strengthening,and LAGBs strengthening were responsible for the increase in strength,while the synergistic deformation between hardened layers and soft core facilitated maintaining excellent elon-gation.The strength and elongation of WADED Al alloy can be synergistically improved by balancing the effects of LSP and heat treatment. 展开更多

In this study,green zinc oxide(ZnO)/polypyrrole(Ppy)/cellulose acetate(CA)film has been synthesized via solvent casting.This film was used as supporting material for glucose oxidase(GOx)to sensitize a glucose biosensor.ZnO nanoparticles have been prepared via the green route using olive leaves extract as a reductant.ZnO/Ppy nanocomposite has been synthesized by a simple in-situ chemical oxidative polymerization of pyrrole(Py)monomer using ferric chloride(FeCl3)as an oxidizing agent.The produced materials and the composite films were characterized using X-ray diffraction analysis(XRD),scanning electron microscope(SEM),Fourier transform infrared(FTIR)and thermogravimetric analysis(TGA).Glucose oxidase was successfully immobilized on the surface of the prepared film and then ZnO/Ppy/CA/GOx composite was sputtered with platinum electrode for the current determination at different initial concentrations of glucose.Current measurements proved the suitability and the high sensitivity of the constructed biosensor for the detection of glucose levels in different samples.The performance of the prepared biosensor has been assessed by measuring and comparing glucose concentrations up to 800 ppm.The results affirmed the reliability of the developed biosensor towards real samples which suggests the wide-scale application of the proposed biosensor. 展开更多

The steel slag in the decarburization converter is treated by the little water-spreading ( LWS ) and the heat-stewed ( HS ) methods , which is used as the furnace burden of the dephosphorization converter.The slag characteristics by the LWS and the HS methods and its application effects as the furnace burden are researched.The results show the moisture content in the HS slag is higher than that of the LWS slag.There is higher total iron content in the HS and the LWS slags and almost same melting point.The dicalcium silicate content in the LWS slag is higher than that in the HS slag.The tricalcium silicate in the LWS slag is lower than that in the HS slag.There are a lot of calcium ferrite in the LWS and the HS slags , which is beneficial to dephosphorization and slag melting.The LWS and the HS slags are added to dephosphorization converter each charge by 3or 6t.The results show that the saving lime is 0.7-1.0tfor each charge.The petrographic constitute of final slag for the dephosphorization converter by adding the LWS and the HS slags is dicalcium silicate , RO phase and glass phase.There are a little calcium ferrite phase in the LWS slag , which is helpful to dephosphorization.So there are better dephosphorization effects for the LWS and HS slags. 展开更多

In order to apply physical simulation results to natural gas hydrate reservoir parameters to provide a theoretical framework for the design of a development plan,an analytical equation method was used to obtain the similarity criteria of natural gas hydrate reservoir development by physical simulation,based on a mathematical model of natural gas hydrate development.Given the approach of numerical simulation,a sensitivity analysis for all parameters was carried out,which specifically demonstrated that initial temperature is the most important parameter.Parameters of thermal conductivity coefficients are not necessary for conducting the NGH dissociation process,which will fundamentally simplify the design and establishment of the model.The analysis provides a sound theoretical basis and design principles for particular similarity. 展开更多

When carbon-bearing pellets of oolitic hematite are treated in a shaft furnace,some problems are typically encountered:the metallization ratio of the metal pellets is low;the carbon-bearing pellets bond with each other at high temperatures;and the separation of phosphorus from iron is difficult.To solve these problems,experiments were conducted on oolitic hematite reduction in a resistance furnace and semi-industrial test shaft furnace.The results showed that the metallization rate reached 90% or greater under the conditions of a reduction temperature of 1 150℃,an atmosphere of simulated flue gas,and a reduction time between 1.5and 2.0h.The problem of high-temperature bonding among pellets can be solved by increasing the strength of the pellets,coating their surface with a surface transfer agent and maintaining an even temperature inside the shaft furnace.The basicity of the ore blend exerted no obvious effect on the magnetic concentrate and phosphorus content.The phosphorus content in the magnetic concentrate can be further reduced by improving the grinding capacity of the ball mills used in the experiments.On the basis of the experimental results related to oolitic hematite reduction with carbon-bearing pellets in a shaft furnace,the experimental requirements were satisfied with an average 88.27%total Fe content and 0.581% P content in the pellets. 展开更多

The slag melting characteristic of slag forming and slag splashing for 300 t BOF less slag process is researched by combining the methods of the slag chemical composition, the melting point determination and the petrographic analysis. The results show that the melting point of final slag for less slag smelting is 20 ~C lower than that for conventional smelting. According to results of the petrographic analysis, the C3S (3CaO ~ SiO2) and C2S (2CaO · SiO2) content for less slag smelting are lower than those for conventional smelting, while the RO (FeO, MgO, MnO, etc) phase and C4AF (4CaO · Al2O3· Fe2O3) phase are higher than those for conventional smelting. According to results of the chemical analysis, the (CaO) content and slag basicity for less slag smelting are higher than those for conventional smelting, while (FeO) and (MgO) content in slag for less slag smelting are almost equal to those for conventional smelting. The reason why slag melting point for less slag smelting is lower than that for con- ventional smelting is that the quantity of added fluorite for less slag smelting is more than that for conventional smel- ting. According tO the analysis results the slag melting point is determined by the C3S, C2S, RO phase and C4AF content. According to the results of slag melting characteristic before and after slag splashing for less slag smelting, the present adjusting slag process has little effect. It is important to adjust the composition of BOF final slag. The (FeO) content in slag is to be reduced at the slag splashing and adjusting slag process for less slag smelting. 展开更多

The effects of different synthesis parameters, such as hydrothermal crystallization temperature (170-190 ℃) and Si/A1 molar ratio (100-150), on the catalytic performance of the dehydration of methanol to dimethyl ether (DME) over the synthesized H-ZSM-5 zeolite were studied. The catalysts were characterized by N2 adsorption-desorption, XRD, NH3-TPD, TGA/DTA, and SEM techniques. The full factorial design of experiments was applied to the synthesis of H-ZSM-5 zeolite and the effects of synthesis conditions and their interaction on the yield of DME as the response variable were determined. Analysis of variance showed that two variables and their interaction significantly affected the response. According to the experimental results, the optimized catalyst prepared at 170℃ with the Si/A1 molar ratio of 100 showed the best catalytic performance among the tested H-ZSM-5 zeolite. 展开更多

Double slag process was adopted to produce low-phosphorus steel from middle-phosphorus hot metal.To achieve a stable dephosphorization operation,conventional process was modified as follows:the blowing time was extended by approximately 1min by reducing the oxygen supply flow rate;calcium ferrite pellets were added to adjust the slag composition and viscosity;the dumping temperature was lowered by 30-50°C by the addition of calcium ferrite pellets during the double slag process to prevent phosphorus in the slag from returning to the molten steel;and the bottom-blown gas flow was increased during the blowing process.For 40 heats of comparative experiments,the rate of dephosphorization reached 91% and ranged between 87% and 95%;the phosphorus,sulfur,manganese,and oxygen contents calculated according to the compositions of molten steel and slag as well as the temperature of molten steel at the end-point of the basic oxygen furnace process were similar to the equilibrium values for the reaction between the slag and the steel.Less free calcium oxide and metallic iron were present in the final slag,and the surface of the slag mineral phase was smooth,clear,and well developed,which showed that the slag exhibited better melting effects than that produced using the conventional slag process.A steady phosphorus capacity in the slag and stable dephosphorization effects were achieved. 展开更多

In order to increase the reaction rates between the molten steel and the slag and cut down the reduction time when the top slag of manganese ore is added into the molten steel,a method of directly alloying manganese ore has been experimented in a 500-kg induction furnace.The results show that the manganese yield is greater than 90%when the wire feeding method is used.The manganese yield is 43.26%within 1 min.In contrast,the manganese yield for the top-slag adding process is only 10.98%for the same duration.The mass transfer rate of the manganese is greater in the molten steel than in the slag,and the limiting factor is the mass transfer rate of the manganese in the slag in the period of 10-30 min.The slag composition area is closer to the area of high melting point for the wire feeding method than for the top-slag adding process.During the slagging process,refining slag composed of C a O and SiO:is formed after 15 min;after 25-30 min,refining slag with a high basicity is formed and consists of CaO,SiO2 and Al203. 展开更多

The characteristics of the microstructure were investigated by scanning electron microscopy and, Fourier transforms infrared spectroscopy to detect the functional group. The resulting inulin exhibited a high yield and purity along with enhanced functional properties. Stirred bio-yogurt fortified with chicory roots inulin or globe artichoke roots inulin showed enhanced physicochemical, microstructural, microbiological, and overall sensorial acceptability followed by chicory roots inulin-maltodextrin or globe artichoke roots inulin-maltodextrin and the commercial inulin as compared to the control. Stirred bio-yogurt samples can offer various health benefits and wide applications as supplement of prebiotic dietary fiber in dairy industry. 展开更多

The Zedong ophiolites in the eastern Yarlung-Zangbo suture zone of Tibet represent a mantle slice of more than 45 km2. This massif consists mainly of mantle peridotites, with lesser gabbros, diabases and volcanic rocks. The mantle peridotites are mostly harzburgite, lherzolite; a few dike-like bodies of dunite are also present. Mineral structures show that the peridotites experienced plastic deformation and partial melting. Olivine (Fos9.7-91.2), orthopyroxene (Enss-92), clinopyroxene (En4-49Wo47-slFS2-4) and spinel [Mg^#=lOOxMg/(Mg+Fe)]=49.1-70.7; Cr^#=(100xCr/(Cr+Al)=18.8-76.5] are the major minerals. The degree of partial melting of mantle peridotites is 10%-40%, indicating that the Zedong mantle peridotites may experience a multi-stage process. The peridotites are characterized by depleted major element compositions and low REE content (0.08-0.62 ppm). Their "spoon-shaped" primitivemantle normalized REE patterns with (La/Sm)N being 0.50-6.00 indicate that the Zedong ultramafic rocks belong to depleted residual mantle rocks. The PGE content of Zedong peridotites (18.19-50.74 ppb) is similar with primary mantle with Pd/Ir being 0.54-0.60 and Pt/Pd being 1.09-1.66. The Zedong peridotites have variable, unradiogenic Os isotopic compositions with 187Os/18Os=0.1228 to 0.1282. A corollary to this interpretation is that the convecting upper mantle is heterogeneous in Os isotopes. All data of the Zedong peridotites suggest that they formed originally at a mid-ocean ridge (MOR) and were later modified in supra-subduction zone (SSZ) environment. 展开更多

Radio waves are highly attenuated and distorted by turbulent plasma sheath around hypersonic vehicles in near space, leading to communication blackout. The purpose of the paper is to investigate the plasma channel characteristics and the communication performances over the channel. We treat the turbulent plasma medium as a fast fading wireless channel. The coherence time and the spectrum spread of the plasma sheath channel are obtained in terms of root-meansquare(RMS). Baseband simulation scheme is proposed based on a stratified model of the plasma flow field. Results indicate that the coherence time is on the order of milliseconds and decreases rapidly with the increasing electron density turbulence. The spectrum spread due to plasma turbulence is also significant. Extensive simulations have been carried out to make communication performance evaluations. Quantitative results show that error floor takes place for PSK and QAM, while FSK with noncoherent detection is a promising method to mitigate the blackout problem. 展开更多

All of them were applied to practical production. The results indicate that the adoption of Al-free deoxidization process leads to the total oxygen content in the steel below 20 ppm,which meets the requirement of clean rail steel. 展开更多

This study was designed to mix date palm</span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> with camels’ milk and goats’. Eight formulations of both camels’ milk and goats’ were made from different percentages of date palm. These formulations were added at ratios of 0 (control), 10%, 20% and 30% (w/v) to camels’ milk and goats’ and the effect of this date palm on the composition and texture properties of the fermented obtained products were followed. It has been found that pH, protein, fat decreased and total solid, carbohydrate, ash, viscosity, vitamins, minerals and antioxidants increased with the increase of the added percentage of date palm compared to control. Microbial counts of the fermented camels’ milk (FCM) and goats’ milk (FGM) increased significantly (P < 0.05) with the addition of different formulations and during storage. Also, fermented camels’ milk (FCM) and fermented goats’ milk (FGM) fortified with different ratios date palm (DP) concentration resulted in good properties and higher acceptable sensory values (at a rate of 10% - 20%) in fresh and till the end of storage periods. Summer floods occur frequently in many regions of China,affecting economic development and social stability.Remote sensing is a new technique in disaster monitoring.In this study,the Sihu Basin in Hubei Province of China and the Huaibei Plain in Anhui Province of China were selected as the study areas.Thresholds of backscattering coefficients in the decision tree method were calculated with the histogram analysis method,and flood disaster monitoring in the two study areas was conducted with the threshold method using Sentinel-1 satellite images.Through satellite-based flood disaster monitoring,the flooded maps and the areas of expanded water bodies and flooded crops were derived.The satellite-based monitoring maps were derived by comparing the expanded area of images during a flood disaster with that before the disaster.The difference in spatiotemporal distribution of flood disasters in these two regions was analyzed.The results showed that flood disasters in the Sihu Basin occurred frequently in June and July,and flood disasters in the Huaibei Plain mostly occurred in August,with a high interannual vari-ability.Flood disasters in the Sihu Basin were usually widespread,and the affected area was between Changhu and Honghu lakes.The Huaibei Plain was affected by scattered disasters.The annual mean percentages of flooded crop area were 14.91%and 3.74% in the Sihu Basin and Huaibei Plain,respectively.The accuracies of the extracted flooded area in the Sihu Basin in 2016 and 2017 were 96.20% and 95.19%,respectively. 展开更多
