Ocean geoscience is a highly integrated and interdisciplinary field that plays a critical role in understanding the interaction between Earth’s lithosphere,hydrosphere,atmosphere,biosphere,and anthroposphere.Recent y...Ocean geoscience is a highly integrated and interdisciplinary field that plays a critical role in understanding the interaction between Earth’s lithosphere,hydrosphere,atmosphere,biosphere,and anthroposphere.Recent years have seen tremendous progress in global ocean research,driven by rapid advancements in deep-sea manned and unmanned submersibles,ocean drilling,seafloor observatories,big data assimilation,and supercomputing simulations.Representative examples of breakthroughs are highlighted in this work:(1)Probing sub-seafloor processes.A 10,000-meter ocean-bottom seismometer array has achieved high-resolution imaging of the deepest ocean on the Earth-the Challenger Deep of the Mariana Trench,revealing the role of key tectonic and hydrological processes within the subduction zone.The first sub-ice seafloor seismic and magnetotelluric experiments were successfully conducted at the Arctic Gakkel Ridge,providing significant insights into the dynamics of ultraslow seafloor spreading.(2)Exploration of seafloor resources.Near-seafloor investigations employing underwater robotics and multi-sensor systems have been carried out in areas of hydrothermal vents and cold seeps at global locations,including the Southwest Indian Ridge.These efforts have combined geophysical,oceanographic,chemical,and biological observations with extensive seafloor sampling.(3)Interdisciplinary research of complex catastrophic events.High-resolution simulations integrating ocean observations with supercomputing modeling have made it possible to fully model earthquake-induced seafloor deformation,tsunami propagation,and ocean basin-scale transport of the Fukushima Power Plant-derived radionuclides associated with the 2011 Tohoku earthquake.Among the world’s three major oceans,the Indian Ocean is still relatively underexplored.Major scientific challenges include elucidating crust-mantle interaction,air-sea dynamic coupling,large-scale marine hazards,and responses of ecosystems to major environmental changes,all of which require interdisciplinary collaboration.Future efforts should focus on developing intelligent unmanned observation platform systems,big data and digital twins,and AI-driven hazard modeling.Meanwhile,higher educational reforms should emphasize fostering a new generation of students and young scientists with a solid background and strong critical analysis skills to accelerate technological innovation.展开更多
Background:With the rapid development of modern emerging technologies,the ethical dilemmas and social controversies triggered by scientific and technological activities have become increasingly prominent.How to guide ...Background:With the rapid development of modern emerging technologies,the ethical dilemmas and social controversies triggered by scientific and technological activities have become increasingly prominent.How to guide technology for good and prevent and control technological risks has become an important issue of global concern.Research on science and technology ethics is dedicated to integrating ethical theories into governance practices and constructing ethical models that adapt to the development of the times.Methods:This article systematically reviews the six core approaches of scientific and technological ethics thought,including technological autonomy and political philosophy criticism,responsibility ethics and intergenerational obligations,technological intermediation and the integration of life and the world,ethical principles and normative frameworks,participatory governance and ethical practice innovation,as well as domain-specific ethical norms,thereby constructing an ethical analysis framework applicable to medical technology risks.And cross-analysis was conducted by taking medical events such as gene editing and xenotransplantation as examples.Results:Research shows that a single ethical approach has limitations in addressing complex medical ethical challenges,while the six approaches are complementary and synergistic.By criticizing technological autonomy,establishing a responsibility ethics orientation,setting the bottom line of ethical principles,promoting participatory governance,formulating domain norms,and continuously reflecting on the intermediary nature of technology,a multi-level and dynamically adaptive governance system for scientific and technological ethics can be constructed.Conclusion:The key to addressing contemporary medical ethics challenges lies in the comprehensive application of science and technology ethics theories and the integration of ethical considerations throughout the entire process of scientific and technological research and development.In the future,a governance framework that adapts to the development of new technologies should be established to promote cross-cultural and cross-disciplinary ethical dialogue and public participation,ensuring that scientific and technological innovation always serves the dignity of human life and overall well-being.展开更多

Aims and objective:This study focuses on the status quo and development trend of nursing research in our country to provide a reference for nursing research workers and improve the development of nursing research in C...Aims and objective:This study focuses on the status quo and development trend of nursing research in our country to provide a reference for nursing research workers and improve the development of nursing research in China.Methods:The official website of the Chinese Nursing Association was searched to obtain the total number,category,geographical distribution,and job of project leaders of winning projects of the Chinese Nursing Association Technology Award.Findings were analyzed using webometrics and content analysis approach to understand the“study hotspots,”“study level,”and“development trend”of nursing research in China.Results:The total number of winning projects was 144.Among them,the number of first,second,and third prizes were 8,36,and 100,respectively.Beijing is the area with the largest number of winners(21),followed by Shanghai(17)and Jiangsu(13).Among the winning projects,the top 3 research areas were specialty nursing,nursing management,and nursing education,with percentages of 50%,27%,and 18%,respectively.Among the 144 project leaders,96% were academic or hospital directors and only 4% were ordinary staff.Conclusions:The geographical distribution of winning projects presented a regional concentration trend.The categories of winning projects are diverse,and our country has made great achievements in every category,particularly in specialty nursing.Most of the project leaders were academic or hospital directors.The stumbling block to nursing research is the lack of high-quality research projects with international influence.Future research should learn from the experiences of developed countries,focus on the in-depth refinement of specialty nursing,and highlight the importance of collaboration to coordinate and promote nursing development in all regions.展开更多

文摘Background:The advent of the self-media age,digital humanities,and artificial intelligence(AI)technologies is gradually reshaping the narrative frameworks of the history of science and technology in general and the history of medicine in particular,as it transforms the specific shape of contemporary medical science and health communication practice with the help of interactive,scenario-based communication ecosystems.Methods:This paper focuses on the interactive relationship between the history of science and science communication,employing historical tracing and case study comparison as research methods to explore the pathways and innovative models for reintegrating the history of science and technology including the history of medicine into contemporary scientific discourse.Results:The study finds that in the Chinese context,three key pathways facilitate the engagement of the history of science and technology including the history of medicine in science communication:administrative intervention,value reconstruction,and personalized adaptation.Specifically,administrative intervention promotes the integration of the history of science education into talent development through policy design;value reconstruction,centered on the scientific spirit,enhances societal cultural recognition of technological progress;and personalized adaptation leverages big data and social media technologies to enable precise and tailored knowledge dissemination.Conclusion:The rise of the“web-based knowledge brokering model”in the era of social media has introduced professional knowledge brokers,ensuring the accuracy and accessibility of science communication.These innovations not only serve as decision-making simulation tools for medical science and health communication,linking historical insights with contemporary practice,but also provide theoretical foundations and practical paradigms for realizing the value of the history of science and technology in the digital era.

文摘According to growth pole theory, this paper puts forward that when allocating regional science and technology (S&T) innovation resources based on S&T program, should abide the principle that important area receives priority support; Meanwhile, it designs method to ascertain district S&T advantage and S&T innovation resources utilizing efficiency as well as S&T developing speed by using component analysis and DEA method, and then constructs three-dimension selecting model,by which a positive research on Heilongjiang is made, the purpose of which is to offer scientific method support and decision-making foundation for making regional S&T program.
文摘Recently we are witnessing the boom of high-pressure science and technology from a small niche field to becoming a major dimension in physical sciences.One of the most important technological advances is the integration of synchrotron nanotechnology with the minute samples at ultrahigh pressures.Applications of high pressure have greatly enhanced our understanding of the electronic,phonon,and doping effects on the newly emerged graphene and related 2D layered materials.High pressure has created exotic stoichiometry even in common Group 17,15,and 14 compounds and drastically altered the basic σ and π bonding of organic compounds.Differential pressure measurements enable us to study the rheology and flow of mantle minerals in solid state,thus quantitatively constraining the geodynamics.They also introduce a new approach to understand defect and plastic deformations of nano particles.These examples open new frontiers of high-pressure research.
文摘Aims and objective:This study focuses on the status quo and development trend of nursing research in our country to provide a reference for nursing research workers and improve the development of nursing research in China.Methods:The official website of the Chinese Nursing Association was searched to obtain the total number,category,geographical distribution,and job of project leaders of winning projects of the Chinese Nursing Association Technology Award.Findings were analyzed using webometrics and content analysis approach to understand the“study hotspots,”“study level,”and“development trend”of nursing research in China.Results:The total number of winning projects was 144.Among them,the number of first,second,and third prizes were 8,36,and 100,respectively.Beijing is the area with the largest number of winners(21),followed by Shanghai(17)and Jiangsu(13).Among the winning projects,the top 3 research areas were specialty nursing,nursing management,and nursing education,with percentages of 50%,27%,and 18%,respectively.Among the 144 project leaders,96% were academic or hospital directors and only 4% were ordinary staff.Conclusions:The geographical distribution of winning projects presented a regional concentration trend.The categories of winning projects are diverse,and our country has made great achievements in every category,particularly in specialty nursing.Most of the project leaders were academic or hospital directors.The stumbling block to nursing research is the lack of high-quality research projects with international influence.Future research should learn from the experiences of developed countries,focus on the in-depth refinement of specialty nursing,and highlight the importance of collaboration to coordinate and promote nursing development in all regions.

文摘Due to the differences in disciplines and regional cultural spirits,the campus landscape of Chinese universities has varying cultural connotations.Campus landscape is not only a reflection of regional school history and culture,but also a potential factor affecting students'ideology and values.At present,some colleges and universities in China only concern and consider the visual impact effect of campus landscape construction,while others take landscape planning and construction as an accessory of the main building,which seriously affects the soul guiding role of campus culture in campus landscape.The internal and external landscape pattern of Henan University of Science and Technology with landscape road and water system as the framework,as well as core scenic spots with rich cultural connotations,such as“Peony Dinghu map”,“Yueqin Lake”,embody the university history and culture,the characteristics of western Henan architecture and the specific campus culture positioning,providing a stark example for landscape planning and design of other colleges and universities in the future.
文摘The monosemy term is one of the important features of English for Science and Technology(EST),but in the process of usage,the monosemy will often be changed gradually,and polysemy is an important factor that influences the term’s monosemy.This paper analyzes the internal and external causes of polysemy in EST translation from the perspective of translation practice,and further elaborates on polysemy with specific translation examples.Finally,some preliminary suggestions for the preferred correct meaning are put forward.
文摘As a tool for human communication,the use of language is affected by the way of thinking in cross-cultural communication.Due to the differences between Chinese and Western cultures,the way of thinking varies under the influence of such cultural differences.In the process of translation,the influence of the different thinking mode on translation activities cannot be ignored.At present,a lot of studies and researches have focused on the influence of Chinese and Western thinking mode on translation.However,it is still worthwhile to study what specific influence the difference between Chinese and Western thinking mode will exert on the translation process of science texts and what kind of measure should be taken to solve the negative influence brought by the differences when we are translating.This paper aims to discuss the influence of thinking differences between Chinese and Western countries on the process of English-Chinese translation of science and technology from the perspectives of long sentences,passive voice and nominalization,and how the translators should appropriately adjust their thinking pattern and use reasonable skills to eliminate the potential negative interference caused by the difference and achieve a better transformation between English and Chinese.

文摘Paleogenomics is a discipline in which the extraction and analysis of DNA from ancient biological remains are studied to understand the evolutionary history of past organisms.Research on this topic has revealed the evolutionary history of humans and other species,traced human migrations and genetic changes,and investigated ancient diseases and environmental influences due to its uniqueness.This paper reviews the scientific and technological history of the development of paleogenomics,including the molecular cloning era,the polymerase chain reaction(PCR)technique era,the genomics era,and the bio-data analysis era.This field explores the key technological development processes and effects of significant scientific discoveries,ranging from gene cloning technology and sequencing technology to breakthroughs and applications in big data analysis,addressing challenges such as sample contamination and trace collection analysis in paleogenomics research.

文摘We conduct survey on the characteristics of demand of agricultural enterprises for agricultural marketing talents from the following 6 aspects:the professional marketing talents needed urgently by the agricultural enterprises,the amount of demand of agricultural enterprises for the marketing talents,the jobs offered by the agricultural enterprises,the educational background of agricultural marketing talents favored by the agricultural enterprises,the requirements posed by the agricultural enterprises on the work experience of agricultural marketing talents,and the quality requirements posed by the agricultural enterprises on the agricultural marketing talents.We analyse the problems existing in the cultivation mode of marketing talents in agricultural vocational colleges as follows:the feature of major is not outstanding;the contradiction between supply and demand is prominent;it is disconnected with the practical needs of agricultural enterprises;the cultivation form of practical ability is simple.On the basis of this,taking Wenzhou Vocational College of Science and Technology as an example,we advance the new mode of cultivating inter-disciplinary talents integrating"marketing technique+technique marketing",and establish characteristic agricultural course combo system on the basis of vocational position orientation.In the meantime,we propose that we should conduct close college-enterprise cooperation with the local leading agricultural enterprises.This cultivation mode reform of talents is favorable for the agricultural enterprises,especially small and medium-sized agricultural enterprises to foster"marketable"agricultural marketing talents,elevate the comprehensive competitiveness of small and medium-sized agricultural enterprises,serve the local economy,and promote the development of modern agriculture,and China's agriculture,farmer,and countryside.

Driven by the growth of population and economy, global water demand has increased more than eightfold since the 1900s. Meanwhile, the commonly deteriorated freshwater quality cause a large proportion of available water resources unsuitable for human uses. This inter-coupled challenge of insufficient water quantity and inadequate water quality has rendered water scarcity a widespread problem in many parts of the world.
文摘Based on landscaping practices in the stereo landscape demonstration project of Chongqing Academy of Science and Technology (CAST),current management and maintenance of the stereo landscapes were introduced by analyzing maintenance and management of the plants in the stereo landscape forest.The maintenance and management models were summarized according to the management styles,concrete measures and new technologies were studied,laws and key points for the maintenance and management in different seasons were given,and finally deficiencies and solutions were proposed to improve the future maintenance and management.
