However, the research has primarily focused on the synthesis of vehicles and pedestrians, while the generation of cyclists is rarely presented due to its complexity. This paper proposes a perspective-aware and realistic cyclist generation method via object retrieval. Images, semantic maps, and depth labels of objects are first collected from existing datasets, categorized by class and perspective, and calculated by an algorithm newly designed according to imaging principles. During scene generation, objects with the desired class and perspective are retrieved from the collection and inserted into the background, which is then sent to the modified 2D synthesis model to generate images. This pipeline introduces a perspective computing method, utilizes object retrieval to control the perspective accurately, and modifies a diffusion model to achieve high fidelity. Experiments show that our proposal gets a 2.36 Fréchet Inception Distance, which is lower than the competitive methods, indicating a superior realistic expression ability. When these images are used for augmentation in the semantic segmentation task, the performance of ResNet-50 on the target class can be improved by 4.47%. These results demonstrate that the proposed method can be used to generate cyclists in corner cases to augment model training data, further enhancing the perception capability of autonomous vehicles and improving the safety performance of autonomous driving technology.展开更多

文摘In this study, the efects of diferent heat treatment process parameters on the microstructure and mechanical properties of Al-12Si-5Cu-1.1Mg-2.3Ni-0.3La alloy were explored.Research showed that eutectic Si underwent three stages during solution treatment:difusing, spheroidization and coarsening. As the solution temperature and time increased, the size of eutectic Si showed a trend of frst decreasing and then increasing.Compared with the heat treatment time, the heat treatment temperature had a more signifcant efect on the mechanical properties. The coarsening of microstructure was the main reason for the deterioration of mechanical properties. The Al_(3)Ti and Al_(3)CuNiLa in the microstructure after aging can signifcantly improve the mechanical properties of the alloy. The Al_(11)La_(3) with secondary precipitation occurred in the La-rich phase. The addition of La inhibited the growth of coherent/semi-coherentθandβphases,which was very benefcial for the improvement of high-temperature strength.Under the optimal heat treatment process parameters of 500℃×4 h+190℃×4 h,the ultimate tensile strength(UTS)of the alloy reached 366.65 MPa.The high-temperature strength and elongation of the alloy reached 101.98 MPa and 13.77%at 350℃,respectively.

文摘Recent advancements in drilling technology have driven substantial progress in cuttings removal tool development, particularly for addressing borehole cleaning challenges in highly deviated directional critical factors in operational safety and efficiency improvement.Despite these innovations, two fundamental challenges persist:an incomplete understanding of mechanistic cuttings removal processes and an insufficient methodological framework for optimal tool installation.Studying the installation positions and assessing the effects of two cuttings removal are essential steps to advance the application of such tools. This investigation was initiated with a comprehensive analysis of particle settling dynamics and migration behaviors in annular wellbore spaces.Building upon Moore's terminal settling velocity equation,a modified model was developed to characterize the transport patterns of cuttings.Through model integration, the precise positioning of the efficient Vortex Cuttings Removal Tool(VCRT)was determined at 188 m from the bit.Subsequently,Computational Fluid Dynamics(CFD)numerical simulation was employed to reveal distinct annular flow field characteristics between VCRT and conventional drilling tools.Field validation in Well Z401X demonstrated a strong correlation between empirical measurements and simulated predictions, with pressure drop deviations of 6.25%and rotational speed variances limited to 7.50%.Analytical results confirmed VCRT's superior performance, exhibited 36.43%reductions in cuttings accumulation at the wellbore's lower quadrant compared to conventional drilling tools. The application of VCRT accelerated cuttings migration velocity in the annular space, significantly increasing the volume of returned onsite cuttings.Friction resistance decreased by approximately 35.90%,indicating higher cuttings removal efficiency than conventional drilling tools.

文摘Because the grinding temperature is high when grinding using conventional disordered grinding wheels, the grinding quality improvement is limited when using single abrasive ordered grinding wheels, and the wheel preparation process is complex and costly when using microstructured grinding wheels, abrasive groups ordered grinding wheels are widely investigated. However, there is a paucity of systematic analyses and comprehensive reviews focused on abrasive groups ordered grinding wheels. Therefore, this paper defines abrasive groups ordered grinding wheels and classifies them, based on their unique characteristics, into groups such as abrasive blocks ordered grinding wheel, fine grain structured grinding wheel, abrasive clusters ordered grinding wheel, and abrasive fibers ordered grinding wheel. We provide an overview of the latest advances in wheel structures, preparation methods, and abrasive selection for various types of abrasive groups ordered grinding wheels.Furthermore,we conduct a comparative analysis of the existing types, significant advantages, and challenges associated with the four types of abrasive groups ordered grinding wheels.Looking ahead, given the potential of abrasive groups ordered grinding wheels in reducing grinding force and temperature,we recommend further exploration of their application in combination with special processing techniques. This could pave the way for the development of machining processes that are more environmentally friendly,energy-efficient,and precise.

文摘Rough micro-nano structures and low surface energy chemical compositions are two essential conditions for constructing superhydrophobic surfaces. However, for low surface tension liquids, which are extremely easy to spread and wet on solid surfaces, the design of cantilever structures with internal concavity is the third important parameter to achieve their superomniphobic, whose negative geometrical inflections can effectively lock the solid-liquid-gas three phase contact line, maximize the upward component of capillary force of the suspended droplets, and provide a larger breakthrough pressure for the structured surfaces to avoid the low surface tension liquids from collapsing on the solid surfaces.Based on this, microfabrication was used to prepare mushroom structured surfaces.By precisely controlling the etching parameters, mushroom structures with diameter of 3μm and circular centre distance of 8μm were prepared. The mushroom structure not only achieves super-repellent from high surface tension water(72.8 mN/m)to ultra-low surface tension perfluorohexane(10 mN/m),but also achieves complete rebound even to the high-speed impact of liquid droplets, including water droplets with an impact height of 7.9 cm and perfluorohexane with a height of 3 mm.This fabrication technology helps to build a robust superomniphobic surface for use in harsh environments such as high-speed droplet impacts.

文摘It is commonly accepted that the formation of oil and gas reservoirs in deep-buried strata is almost impossible due to the huge compaction of in-situ crustal stresses.Nevertheless, recent hydrocarbon explorations in the Tarim Basin have discovered reservoirs at depths exceeding 8 km.The reservoirs exhibit a strong correlation to the strata’s faults and large fractures, yet the precise underlying mechanical mechanism remains obscure. To illuminate how the faults may facilitate the existence of such deep-buried reservoirs,we consider three ideal scenarios involving unconventional hole-crack interactions under remote biaxial compression. Our focus is on the stress concentration of the hole, influenced by the long main cracks.Closed-form compressive stress solutions are obtained based on our simple theoretical models, showing that long cracks significantly reduce the stress concentration of nearby holes. We quantify the reducing effect of the cracks’angle, surface friction, and pressure on the maximum shear and von Mises stresses around a hole, combining with finite element analysis results. The stress shielding effect is qualitatively consistent with the available experimental observations that the deep-buried caves are often located near the faults and large fractures in carbonate strata. Our results will be beneficial for future exploration of superdeep petroleum reservoirs.

文摘Jumping robots are highly capable of overcoming obstacles. However, their explosive force, short duration, and variable trajectories pose significant challenges in achieving stable landings in complex environments.Traditional approaches rely heavily on sophisticated algorithms and electronic sensor feedback systems to ensure landing stability, which increases the implementation complexity.Inspired by the process by which humans complete jumps and achieve stable landings in complex environments, this study proposes a novel landing control method for jumping robots.By designing a mechanically coupled perception-control structure based on mechanical logic computing, the robot simulates the real-time transmission of neural signals triggered by the ground reaction force(GRF)in human reflex loops, thereby simplifying traditional control approaches.Through the collaboration of a flexible mechanical spine and a bistable foot module, the robot achieves an average height of 16.8 cm and a distance of 25.36 cm in consecutive stable jumps. It also demonstrates reliable landing performance on challenging terrain including slopes and cobblestone surfaces. This paper proposes a novel landing control method for jumping robots that simplifies traditional control approaches. The method enables stable landings on complex terrain through a mechanically coupled perception-control structure. This approach has potential applications in tasks requiring mobility over uneven terrain, such as search and rescue.

文摘The complex vibration directly affects the dynamic safety of drill string in ultra-deep wells and extra-deep wells. It is important to understand the dynamic characteristics of drill string to ensure the safety of drill string.Due to the super slenderness ratio of drill string, strong nonlinearity implied in dynamic analysis and the complex load environment, dynamic simulation of drill string faces great challenges. At present, many simulation methods have been developed to analyze drill string dynamics, and node iteration method is one of them. The node iteration method has a unique advantage in dealing with the contact characteristics between drill string and borehole wall, but its drawback is that the calculation consumes a considerable amount of time. This paper presents a dynamic simulation method of drilling string in extra-deep well based on successive over-relaxation node iterative method(SOR node iteration method).Through theoretical analysis and numerical examples, the correctness and validity of this method were verified, and the dynamics characteristics of drill string in extra-deep wells were calculated and analyzed. The results demonstrate that,in contrast to the conventional node iteration method, the SOR node iteration method can increase the computational efficiency by 48.2%while achieving comparable results. And the whirl trajectory of the extra-deep well drill string is extremely complicated, the maximum rotational speed downhole is approximately twice the rotational speed on the ground. The dynamic torque increases rapidly at the position of the bottom stabilizer, and the lateral vibration in the middle and lower parts of drill string is relatively intense.

文摘The hot deformation behavior of 2707 hyper duplex stainless steel(HDSS)was investigated through a hot compression test at 950℃ to 1,250℃ at strain rates of 0.01 s^(-1) to 10 s^(-1).Observations from the flow stress curves reveal a balance between work hardening and dynamic recovery at the beginning of the deformation and subsequently demonstrate various softening mechanisms with the increase of strain. At high strain rates, dynamic recovery is the prevailing mechanism, whereas,at medium and low strain rates, dynamic recrystallization becomes dominant. The constitutive equation was constructed, and the deformation activation energy was calculated to be 645.46 kJ·mol^(-1).The hot processing map was drawn based on the dynamic material model at a strain of 0.8.The results indicate that the hot workability of 2707 HDSS decreases due to its high alloying content. The microstructure evolution of 2707 HDSS at 1,050℃ was identified by means of electron backscatter diffraction and transmission electron microscopy. The results demonstrate that the ferrite completes dynamic recrystallization at the strain rate of 1 s^(-1).The softening process of austenite is influenced by ferrite and mainly experiences dynamic recovery. The austenite located at the α/γ phase boundaries tends to undergo dynamic recrystallization.

文摘Edge defects significantly impact the forming quality of Mg/Al composite plates during the rolling process. This study aims to develop an effective rolling technique to suppress these defects.First,an enhanced Lemaitre damage model with a generalized stress state damage prediction mechanism was used to evaluate the key mechanical factors contributing to defect formation.Based on this evaluation,an embedded composite rolling technique was proposed.Subsequently, comparative validation was conducted at 350℃ with a 50% reduction ratio. Results showed that the plates rolled using the embedded composite rolling technique had smooth surfaces and edges, with no macroscopic cracks observed.Numerical simulation indicated that, compared to conventional processes, the proposed technique reduced the maximum edge stress triaxiality of the plates from-0.02 to-1.56,significantly enhancing the triaxial compressive stress effect at the edges, which suppressed void nucleation and growth, leading to a 96%reduction in damage values.Mechanical property evaluations demonstrated that, compared to the conventional rolling process, the proposed technique improved edge bonding strength and tensile strength by approximately 67.7%and 118%,respectively.Further microstructural characterization revealed that the proposed technique, influenced by the restriction of deformation along the transverse direction(TD),weakened the plastic flow in the TD and enhanced plastic flow along the rolling direction(RD),resulting in higher grain boundary density and stronger basal texture. This,in turn, improved the toughness and transverse homogeneity of the plates. In summary, the embedded composite rolling technique provides crucial technical guidance for the preparation of Mg-based composite plates.

文摘Silicon carbide(SiC)ceramics are extensively utilized in aerospace, national defense, and petrochemical industries due to their superior physical and chemical properties. The processing of bulk SiC ceramics necessitates precise and efficient grinding techniques to produce components with satisfactory functionality. However, the inherent high hardness and brittleness of SiC ceramics present significant challenges during grinding, leading to severe brittle fracture and tool wear that compromise both surface integrity and production efficiency.Although ductile-regime grinding of SiC ceramics can be achieved by enhancing machine tool accuracy and stiffness while optimizing wheel performance alongside appropriate selection of process parameters,a comprehensive summary of the mechanisms underlying damage evolution during grinding is lacking, and a mature grinding process for SiC ceramics has yet to be developed. To bridge this gap,the sintering technologies, mechanical properties, and microstructures of SiC ceramics were briefly covered. The grinding-induced damage mechanism and low-damage grinding technologies of SiC ceramics were summarized. The fundamental science underlying the ductile deformation and removal mechanisms of brittle solids was emphasized.Additionally, attention was directed towards the critical role of hybrid energy field grinding in minimizing brittle damages and promoting removal efficiency. This review not only elucidates the intrinsic interactions between the work material and abrasives, but also offers valuable insights for optimizing the grinding processes of brittle solids.

文摘The gecko's feet possess unique microstructures that enable strong adhesive forces when interacting with various surfaces.Understanding the interfacial forces generated by these microstructures is crucial for deciphering their adhesion mechanism. This study developed a contact mechanics model based on van der Waals forces and frictional self-locking effects, incorporating both the spatular pad and spatular shaft of the gecko’s foot microstructures.Building on this foundation,a discrete element simulation model was established using the bonding method to replicate the contact between the gecko's spatula and different surfaces. The dynamic adhesion and detaching processes under normal and tangential external forces were simulated, allowing for the analysis of variation curves of normal and tangential adhesion forces at different detaching angles. This provided insights into the directional adhesion mechanics of the gecko's spatula.Furthermore,a force measurement system was constructed using a multi-degree-of-freedom nano-manipulator and an atomic force microscope within a scanning electron microscope. This system was used to experimentally test the adhesion characteristics of the gecko’s foot microstructures, validating the accuracy of the proposed adhesion mechanics model.
