Carbon capture,utilization and storage(CCUS)technology is an important means to effectively reduce carbon emissions from fossil energy combustion and industrial processes.With the crisis of climate change,CCUS has att...Carbon capture,utilization and storage(CCUS)technology is an important means to effectively reduce carbon emissions from fossil energy combustion and industrial processes.With the crisis of climate change,CCUS has attracted increasing attention in the world.CCUS technology as developed rapidly in China is technically feasible for large-scale application in various industries.The R&D and demonstration of CCUS in China Petroleum&Chemical Corporation(Sinopec)are summarized,including carbon capture,carbon transport,CO_(2)enhanced energy recovery(including oil,gas,and water,etc.),and comprehensive utilization of CO_(2).Based on the source-sink matching characteristics in China,two CCUS industrialization scenarios are proposed,namely,CO_(2)-EOR,CO_(2)-driven enhanced oil recovery using centralized carbon sinks in East China and CO_(2)-EWR,CO_(2)-driven enhanced water recovery(EWR)using centralized carbon sources from the coal chemical industry in West China.Finally,a CCUS industrialization path from Sinopec's perspective is suggested,using CO_(2)-EOR as the major means and CO_(2)-EWR,CO_(2)-driven enhanced gas recovery(CO_(2)-EGR)and other utilization methods as important supplementary means.展开更多
Fischer-Tropsch(F-T)synthesis has become a commercial pathway for producing liquid fuels and chemicals from non-petroleum carbon resources through syngas.In line with national energy security strategies and environmen...Fischer-Tropsch(F-T)synthesis has become a commercial pathway for producing liquid fuels and chemicals from non-petroleum carbon resources through syngas.In line with national energy security strategies and environmental protection concerns,the SINOPEC Research Institute of Petroleum Processing Co.,Ltd.(RIPP)has intensified research on F-T synthesis since 2002.Co-based fixed-bed and slurry F-T synthesis technologies nearing industrial readiness and a processing package of 0.7 Mt/a have been successfully developed after years of fundamental research,pilot testing,and technical designs.Besides,multiple mesoscopic channel reactor with a cross-flow structure and excellent heat control was developed to enhance the space time yield of supported cobalt catalyst under different reaction conditions.RIPP has also developed several different F-T synthetic oil hydro-upgrading technologies according to different target products,all of which have been implemented in industrial production.To address the quality of F-T reaction water,a targeted alcohol recovery pretreatment technology has been developed.Pilot tests confirmed that this technology significantly reduced the chemical oxygen demand of the water,thereby ensuring the feasibility of using F-T technology on an industrial scale.展开更多
Since the 13th Five-Year Plan,Sinopec has been thoroughly carrying out the new energy security strategy of“four revolutions and one cooperation”and the spirit of the important instruction of“powerful promotion of p...Since the 13th Five-Year Plan,Sinopec has been thoroughly carrying out the new energy security strategy of“four revolutions and one cooperation”and the spirit of the important instruction of“powerful promotion of petroleum exploration and development”.Focusing on strategic breakthrough and large-scale reserve increase,the petroleum exploration enhances the theoretical and technological innovation and highlights high-quality exploration battles,so that a series of important petroleum exploration achievements have been gained.In order to accelerate and promote the development of Sinopec's natural gas business,this paper forecasts Sinopec's exploration direction and development potential of natural gas in the future after comprehensively sorting out the achievements and theoretical and technological progresses of natural gas exploration since the 13th Five-Year Plan.And the following research results are obtained.First,since the 13th Five-Year plan,Sinopec has been persisting in the strategic deployment of“balancing marine and continental facies and focusing conventional and unconventional resources”.According to the idea of“extending marine conventional gas,strengthening marine shale gas and optimizing continental tight gas”,Sinopec innovatively develops the hydrocarbon accumulation theory of marine shale gas in southern China,marine carbonate rock in central-western China and tight clastic rock in central-western China.Second,by virtue of researches,a 3D seismic exploration technology with reservoir identification and description as the basis and sweet spot prediction as the core is developed,and several support equipment and tools are integrated,such as deep and ultra-deep drilling and completion,acid fracturing testing,long horizontal well fracturing and high power electric fracturing,and drillable composite bridge plug.Third,a series of natural gas exploration achievements are obtained in three major fields of marine shale,marine carbonate rock and continental tight clastic rock,and new proven natural gas reserves of 1.0068×1012 m3 is achieved,which provides Sinopec with high-quality resource guarantee for the fast increase of natural gas production.Fourth,looking forward,there are abundant natural gas resource bases in Sinopec's licenses,and the main development directions of its natural gas exploration are marine carbonate rock in central-western China,tight clastic rock and shale in central-western China,marine deep clastic rock,and deep clastic rock and igneous rock in the mature areas of eastern China.In conclusion,Sinopec's new proven natural gas reserves during the 14th Five-Year Plan is predicted to be 1.16×10^(12)-1.36×10^(12) m^(3),which can provide a solid resources base for the great development of natural gas in China.展开更多

A technology series composed of innovated theories concerning geological characterization during drilling, new generation of PDC bits, friction-reducing tools, low-cost oil-based drilling fluid system, high-efficient washing fluid and elastic mud systems, integrated drilling engineering design, long lateral cementing, modified well facto~ drilling method and etc., was developed to ful)qll fast and optimized drilling for shale gas wells. One month after start-up of the hydrocracking unit, an evaluation opera- tion has been conducted fbr assessing the catalysts performance. The technical calibration results showed that the RN- 32V/RHC-1 catalysts had high activity, and the product yield distribution was reasonable. The hydrocracker can provide abundant feedstocks for the downstream aromatic production unit and ethylene production unit.展开更多

文摘This article focuses on the hydrocracking technology for upgrading the quality of tail oil and the first commercial application of the RN-32V/RHC- 1 catalysts in the 1.0 Mt/a hydrocracker at the Yangzi Petrochemical Company, which was started up successfully in September 2008. One month after start-up of the hydrocracking unit, an evaluation opera- tion has been conducted fbr assessing the catalysts performance. The technical calibration results showed that the RN- 32V/RHC-1 catalysts had high activity, and the product yield distribution was reasonable. The hydrocracker can provide abundant feedstocks for the downstream aromatic production unit and ethylene production unit.

文摘Proven undeveloped reserves (PUDs) refers to discovered proven reserves that are difficult to develop, require high costs for production, have low commercial value or are temporarily not put into commercial development under the existing technological and economic conditions. Sinopec’s PUDs are dominated by deep-and ultra-deep reservoirs with ultra-low permeability, high-density, low-pressure coefficient and low abundance. These oil reservoirs have narrow storage space and complex storage status, leading to difficulties in predicting effective reservoirs, low single-well production, high production cost and difficulties in benefit generation. Since the “13th Five-year Plan” period, Sinopec’s upstream sector in China has taken the effective development of PUDs as an important measure to ensure national energy security.
