Based on the real dynamic tensile-shear failure mechanism of slope, the paper proposes dynamic analysis of strength reduction FEM (finite element method) and takes the reduction of shear strength parameters and tensile strength parameters into consideration. And it comprehensively takes the transfixion of the failure surface, the non-convergence of calculation and mutation of displacement as the criterion of dynamic instability and failure of the slope. The bridge abutments were designed to be constructed in river bank slopes, where rocks are controlled by two sets of joint planes that significantly influence the stability of the left bank slope. According to the engineering-geological conditions and the characteristics of discontinuities, strength properties of the rock mass were obtained based on Barton model and direct shear test. Numerical analyses were performed using FLAC3D software to examine the slope's response to seismic loading. Then in order to evaluate the damage trends of the rock mass under the different loading conditions, a calculation model based on the geological parameters and slope stability was simulated and analyzed using the discrete element numerical simulation program UDEC (Universal Dis- tinct Element Code), and the effect of degradation of discontinuities on the slope stability was investigated. The results show that the destruction of rock mass under the gravity, bridge foundation, and seismic load are mainly concentrated within 30 m depth of slope, and the slope under loading may slide along joint planes. In addition, the dynamic analysis by amplification of the input loading indicates that instability occurs to the bank slope at a height of about 200 m, and rock blocks will fail under seismic load. Therefore, to prevent the slope from deformation under the engineering loading and strong earthquakes, the bridge foundation should be strengthened.展开更多

文摘The ocean serves as a repository for various types of artificial nanoparticles.Nanoplastics(NPs)and nano zinc oxide(nZnO),which are frequently employed in personal care products and food packaging materials, are likely simultaneously released and eventually into the ocean with surface runoff. Therefore, their mutual influence and shared destiny in marine environment cannot be ignored. This study examined how nanomaterials interacted and transported through sea sand in various salinity conditions. Results showed that NPs remained dispersed in brine, while nZnO formed homoaggregates. In seawater of 35 practical salinity units(PSU),nZnO formed heteroaggregates with NPs,inhibiting NPs mobility and decreasing the recovered mass percentage(Meff)from 24.52%to 12.65%.In 3.5 PSU brackish water,nZnO did not significantly aggregate with NPs,and thus barely affected their mobility. However,NPs greatly enhanced nZnO transport with Meff increasing from 14.20%to 25.08%,attributed to the carrier effect of higher mobility NPs.Cotransport from brackishwater to seawater was simulated in salinity change experiments and revealed a critical salinity threshold of 10.4 PSU,below which the mobility of NPs was not affected by coexisting nZnO and above which nZnO strongly inhibited NP transport. This study highlights the importance of considering the mutual influence and shared destiny of artificial nanoparticles in the marine environment and how their interaction and cotransport are dependent on changes in seawater salinity.

文摘To effectively regulate the grain boundary infiltration in CoCrFeMnNi high-entropy alloy(Cantor alloys,HEA)caused by the violent atomic interdiffusion, the higher configuration entropy on Cantor alloys surface was designed and realized via eutectic high-entropy(EHEA)transformation.Meanwhile,to effectively alleviate the residual stress caused by the notable difference in the thermal expansion coefficient(CTE)between Cantor alloys and Zr-3 alloys,a cladding layer was applied to the HEA surface using laser cladding technology of Nb,followed by brazing to Zr-3 alloys with Zr63.2Cu filler. The cladding layer’s microstructure comprised Nbss and FCC+(Co,Ni)_(2) Nb eutectic structure, resulting from an in-situ reaction between Cantor alloys and Nb.The Nbss and FCC demonstrated good plasticity, and the(Co,Ni)_(2) Nb Laves phase provided increased strength, endowing both good plastic deformation ability and strength of the cladding layer.Notably, the existence of EHEA in the laser cladding layer made the Cantor alloy entropy from 1.61 R to 1.77 R,greatly enhancing its thermal stability and suppressing the grave grain boundary infiltration.Joints produced via laser cladding with Nb-assisted brazing exhibited a complex microstructure(HEA/Nbss+FCC+(Co,Ni)_(2)Nb/(Zr,Nb)(Cr,Mn)_(2)+(Zr,Nb)ss/(Zr,Nb)_(2)(Cu,Ni,Co,Fe)+(Zr,Nb)(Cr,Mn)_(2)+(Zr,Nb)ss/Zr-3) and a significantly improved shear strength of 242.8 MPa at 1010℃ for 10 min,42.4%higher than that of directly brazed joints. This improvement was attributed to reduced grain boundary infiltration, alleviated residual stress due to CTE disparity, and eliminated micro-cracks in the brazing seam. This study presents an effective solution for reducing residual stresses and achieving reliable bonding between Cantor alloys and Zr-3 alloys, with potential applications in brazing CoCrFeNi-based HEA and Zr-3 due to the beneficial eutectic reaction between CoCrFeNi and Nb.

文摘Accurate monitoring of track irregularities is very helpful to improving the vehicle operation quality and to formulating appropriate track maintenance strategies.Existing methods have the problem that they rely on complex signal processing algorithms and lack multi-source data analysis.Driven by multi-source measurement data, including the axle box,the bogie frame and the carbody accelerations, this paper proposes a track irregularities monitoring network(TIMNet)based on deep learning methods.TIMNet uses the feature extraction capability of convolutional neural networks and the sequence map-ping capability of the long short-term memory model to explore the mapping relationship between vehicle accelerations and track irregularities. The particle swarm optimization algorithm is used to optimize the network parameters,so that both the vertical and lateral track irregularities can be accurately identified in the time and spatial domains. The effectiveness and superiority of the proposed TIMNet is analyzed under different simulation conditions using a vehicle dynamics model.Field tests are conducted to prove the availability of the proposed TIMNet in quantitatively monitoring vertical and lateral track irregularities.Furthermore, comparative tests show that the TIMNet has a better fitting degree and timeliness in monitoring track irregularities(vertical R2 of 0.91,lateral R2 of 0.84 and time cost of 10 ms),compared to other classical regression. The test also proves that the TIMNet has a better anti-interference ability than other regression models.

文摘The identification and characterization of concealed in-situ rock blocks on high-steep slope exposures are critical in rock engineering, but remain challenging. This study employs advanced UAV-based photogrammetry to capture high-resolution discontinuity data and develops a fully automated rock block extraction method consisting of three steps:(1)determination of free face and non-free fracture intersections,(2)surface search for rock blocks on free face.and(3)extraction and analysis of rock blocks. This approach simplifies the determination of discontinuity intersections while maintaining high accuracy.By incorporating all types of discontinuities contributing to rock block formation, the method enables precise in-situ rock block identification and extraction.Application to a rock slope in China, produced results consistent with the rock blocks observed in the 3D model, highlighting its accuracy and practical value.

文摘The accurate selection of operational parameters is critical for ensuring the safety, efficiency, and automation of Tunnel Boring Machine(TBM)operations. This study proposes a similarity-based framework integrating model-based boring indexes(derived from rock fragmentation mechanisms)and Euclidean distance analysis to achieve real-time recommendations of TBM operational parameters.Key performance indicators-thrust(F),torque(T),and penetration(p)-were used to calculate three model-based boring indexes(a,b,k),which quantify dynamic rock fragmentation behavior.A dataset of 359 candidate samples, reflecting diverse geological conditions from the Yin-Chao water conveyance project in Inner Mongolia,China, was utilized to validate the framework. The system dynamically recommends parameters by matching real-time data with historical cases through standardized Euclidean distance, achieving high accuracy.Specifically, the mean absolute error(MAE)for rotation speed(n)was 0.10 r/min,corresponding to a mean absolute percentage error(MAPE)of 1.09%.For advance rate(v),the MAE was 3.4 mm/min,with a MAPE of 4.50%.The predicted thrust(F)and torque(T)values exhibited strong agreement with field measurements, with MAEs of 270 kN and 178 kN∙m,respectively.Field applications demonstrated a 30%reduction in parameter adjustment time compared to empirical methods. This work provides a robust solution for real-time TBM control, advancing intelligent tunneling in complex geological environments.

文摘Deeply buried mountain tunnels are often exposed to the risk of rock bursts, which always cause serious damage to the supporting structures and threaten the safety of the engineers.Due to the limited data available,a suitable approach to predict the rockburst tendency at the preliminary stage becomes very important. In this study,an integrated methodology combining 3D initial stress inversion and rockburst tendency prediction was developed and subsequently applied to a case study of the Sangzhuling Tunnel on the Sichuan–Tibet Railway. The numerical modelling involved inverting the initial stress field using a multiple linear regression method. The tunnel excavation was simulated separately by FDM and DEM,based on a stress boundary condition from the inverted stress field. The comparative analysis demonstrates that the rockburst ratio calculated using DEM(76.70%)exhibits a slight increase compared to FDM(75.38%),and the rockburst location is consistent with the actual situation. This suggests that DEM is more suitable for simulating the stress redistribution during excavation in a jointed rock mass. The numerical simulation combined with the deviatoric stress approach effectively predicts rockburst tendency, meeting the engineering requirements.Despite its limitations, numerical simulation remains a reliable method for predicting rock bursts.

文摘In the concurrent extraction of coal and gas,the quantitative assessment of evolving characteristics in mining-induced fracture networks and mining-enhanced permeability within coal seams serves as the cornerstone for effective gas extraction. However, representing mining-induced fracture networks from a three-dimensional(3D)sight and developing a comprehensive model to evaluate the anisotropic mining-enhanced permeability characteristics still pose significant challenges. In this investigation,a field experiment was undertaken to systematically monitor the evolution of borehole fractures in the coal mass ahead of the mining face at the Pingdingshan Coal Mining Group in China.Using the testing data of borehole fracture, the mining-induced fracture network at varying distances from the mining face was reconstructed through a statistical reconstruction method.Additionally, utilizing fractal theory,a model for the permeability enhancement rate(PER)induced by mining was established. This model was employed to quantitatively depict the anisotropic evolution patterns of PER as the mining face advanced. The research conclusions are as follows:(1)The progression of the mining-induced fracture network can be classified into the stage of rapid growth, the stage of stable growth, and the stage of weak impact;(2)The PER of mining-induced fracture network exhibited a typical progression that can be characterized with slow growth, rapid growth and significant decline;(3)The anisotropic mining-enhanced permeability of the reconstructed mining-induced fracture networks were significant. The peak PER in the vertical direction of the coal seam is 6.86 times and 4446.38 times greater than the direction perpendicular to the vertical thickness and the direction parallel to the advancement of the mining face, respectively. This investigatione provides a viable approach and methodology for quantitatively assessing the anisotropic PER of fracture networks induced during mining,in the concurrent exploitation of coal and gas.
文摘BACKGROUND Dual-phenotype hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is a relatively new subtype of HCC.Studies have shown that in the context of chronic hepatitis, liver cirrhosis, and other liver conditions, some intrahepatic cholangiocarcinomas(ICCs)exhibit an enhancement pattern similar to that of HCC.Both dual-phenotype HCC(DPHCC)and ICC can express biliary markers, making imaging and pathology differentiation difficult.Currently, radiomics is widely used in the differentiation, clinical staging, and prognosis assessment of various diseases.Radiomics can effectively differentiate DPHCC and ICC preoperatively.AIM To evaluate the value of radiomics in the differential diagnosis of DPHCC and ICC and to validate its clinical applicability METHODS In this retrospective study, the data of 53 DPHCC patients and 124 ICC patients were collected retrospectively and randomly divided into training and testing sets at a ratio of 7:3.After delineation of regions of interest and feature extraction and selection, radiomics models were constructed.Receiver operating characteristic curve analysis was conducted to calculate the area under the curve(AUC)for each model. The AUC values of radiologists with and without assistance from the model were also assessed.RESULTS In the training set,the AUC value of the radiomic model was the highest, and the combined model and the radiomic model had similar AUC(P>0.05);the differences in the AUC values between the combined model and the clinical-sign model was statistically significant(P<0.05).In the testing set,the AUC value of the combined model was the highest, and the differences in the AUC values between the combined model and the clinical-sign model was statistically significant(P<0.05).With model assistance, the AUC values of Doctor D(10 years of experience in abdominal imaging diagnosis)and Doctor E(5 years of experience in abdominal imaging diagnosis)both increased.CONCLUSION Radiomics can differentiate DPHCC and ICC,and with assistance from the developed model, the accuracy of less experienced doctors in the differential diagnosis of these two diseases can be improved.
