Objective:This study aims to investigate the potential molecular mechanism of Salvia miltiorrhiza in treating benign prostatic hyperplasia(BPH)based on network pharmacology.Methods:Active components of Salvia miltiorrhiza were screened via the TCMSP database,and their potential targets were predicted using Swiss Target Prediction.BPH-related targets were obtained from Gene Cards and OMIM databases.Common targets between the herb and BPH were used to con-struct a protein-protein interaction(PPI)network via STRING and visualized using Cytoscape.Core targets were identifi ed,and Gene Ontology(GO)and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes(KEGG)enrichment analyses were conducted(P≤0.01).Results:A total of 57 active components and 818 targets of Salvia miltiorrhiza were identifi ed.Intersection analysis yielded 458 potential targets associated with BPH.PPI network analysis revealed core targets including SRC,PIK3R1,and PIK3CA.GO enrichment analysis indicated that the targets were primarily associated with biological processes(BP)such as calcium ion homeostasis,cellular components(CC)including focal adhesions,and molecular functions(MF)such as tyrosine kinase activity.KEGG pathway analysis indicated that Salvia miltiorrhiza may exert therapeutic effects through pathways including MAPK,PI3K-Akt,and calcium signaling(P≤0.01).Conclusion:Salvia miltiorrhiza may regulate BPH through a multi-component,multi-target,and multi-pathway network,providing a theoretical basis for its clinical application. 展开更多

Objective:Tanshinone ⅡA,one of the most abundant liposoluble components isolated from the traditional Chinese medicine Salvia miltiorrhiza,exhibits significant biological activities in anti-inflammatory,antibacterial,and antitumor eff ects.This study aims to systematically explore the mechanism of Tanshinone ⅡA through bioinformatics.Methods:We utilized the TCMSP database to retrieve the oral bioavailability(OB)and drug-likeness(DL)of Tanshinone ⅡA.The gene chip numbered GSE85871 was downloaded from the GEO database,and diff erential genes were analyzed using R language to identify potential targets of Tanshinone ⅡA.After obtaining these targets,GO analysis and KEGG pathway analysis were performed using the DAVID 6.8 database.Diseases related to Tanshinone ⅡA were explored through the CTD database.Finally,Cytoscape was employed to construct a visual network of multiple targets,pathways,and diseases associated with Tanshinone ⅡA.Results:Tanshinone ⅡA demonstrated good drug effi cacy with an OB value of 49.89%and a DL value of 0.4.A total of 132 potential targets were identifi ed,primarily exhibiting gene co-expression and physical interaction in the PPI network.These targets were enriched in biological processes and pathways such as ovarian steroidogenesis,cell cycle,and steroid hormone biosynthesis.Tanshinone ⅡA was found to be relevant in the treatment of diseases including breast tumors,hypertension,atherosclerosis,gliomas,vascular system injuries,left ventricular hypertrophy,leukemia,and hearing loss.Conclusion:Utilizing bioinformatics approaches,we systematically analyzed the possible molecular mechanisms of Tanshinone ⅡA,providing potential targets and insights into its pharmacological mechanisms and treatment strategies. 展开更多

Two critical factors,namely intense precipitation and intricate excavation,can trigger rock mass disasters in mining operations.In this study,an indoor rainfall system was developed to precisely regulate the flow and intensity of precipitation.A large-scale model experiment was conducted on a self-designed physical simulation experiment platform to investigate the failure and instability of high-steep rock slopes under unsaturated conditions.The real-time reproduction of the progressive failure process in high-steep rock slopes enabled the determination of the critical rainfall intensity and revealed the mechanism underlying slope instability.Experiment results indicated that rainfall may be the primary factor contributing to rock mass instability,while continuous pillar mining exacerbates the extent of rock mass failure.The critical failure stage of high-steep rock slopes occurs at a rainfall intensity of 40 mm/h,whereas a rainfall exceeding 50 mm can induce critical instability and precipitation reaching up to 60 mm will result in slope failure.The improved region growing segmentation method(IRGSM)was subsequently employed for image recognition of rock mass deformation in underground mines.Herein an error comparison with the simple linear iterative cluster(SLIC)superpixel method and the original region growing segmentation method(ORGSM)showed that the average identification error in the X and Y directions by the method was reduced significantly(1.82%and 1.80%in IRGSM;4.70%and 6.26%in SLIC;9.45%and 12.40%in ORGSM).Ultimately,the relationship between rainfall intensity and failure probability was analyzed using the Monte Carlo method.Moreover,the stability assessment criteria of rock slope under unsaturated condition were quantitatively and accurately evaluated. 展开更多

Intense precipitation infiltration and intricate excavation processes are crucial factors that impact the stability and security of towering and steep rock slopes within mining sites.The primary aim of this research was to investigate the progression of cumulative failure within a cracked rock formation,considering the combined effects of precipitation and excavation activities.The study was conducted in the Huangniuqian eastern mining area of the Dexing Copper Mine in Jiangxi Province,China.An engineering geological investigation was conducted,a physical model experiment was performed,numerical calculations and theoretical analysis were conducted using the matrix discrete element method(Mat-DEM),and the deformation characteristics and the effect of the slope angle of a fractured rock mass under different scenarios were examined.The failure and instability mechanisms of the fractured rock mass under three slope angle models were analyzed.The experimental results indicate that as the slope angle increases,the combined effect of rainfall infiltration and excavation unloading is reduced.A novel approach to simulating unsaturated seepage in a rock mass,based on the van Genuchten model(VGM),has been developed.Compared to the vertical displacement observed in a similar physical experiment,the average relative errors associated with the slope angles of 45,50,and 55were 2.094%,1.916%,and 2.328%,respectively.Accordingly,the combined effect of rainfall and excavation was determined using the proposed method.Moreover,the accuracy of the numerical simulation was validated.The findings contribute to the seepage field in a meaningful way,offering insight that can inform and enhance existing methods and theories for research on the underlying mechanism of ultra-high and steep rock slope instability,which can inform the development of more effective risk management strategies. 展开更多

BACKGROUND Although bilirubin is known to be an antioxidant,any relationship with coronary heart disease remains controversial.To the best of our knowledge,no previous study has investigated the association between bilirubin and perioperative myocardial infarction(PMI),including its long-term prognosis.AIM To investigate the impact of bilirubin levels on PMI in patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI),and long-term prognosis in post-PMI patients.METHODS Between January 2014 and September 2018,10236 patients undergoing elective PCI were enrolled in the present study.Total bilirubin(TB)and cardiac troponin I(cTnI)levels were measured prior to PCI and cTnI at further time-points,8,16 and 24 h after PCI.Participants were stratified by pre-PCI TB levels and divided into three groups:<10.2;10.2-14.4 and>14.4μmol/L.PMI was defined as producing a post-procedural cTnI level of>5×upper limit of normal(ULN)with normal baseline cTnI.Major adverse cardiovascular events(MACEs)included cardiac death,MI,stroke and revascularization during a maximum 5-year follow-up.RESULTS PMI was detected in 526(15.3%),431(12.7%)and 424(12.5%)of patients with pre-PCI TB levels of<10.2,10.2-14.4 and>14.4μmol/L(P=0.001),respectively.Multivariate logistical analysis indicated that patients with TB 10.2-14.4 and>14.4μmol/L had a lower incidence of PMI[TB 10.2-14.4μmol/L:Odds ratio(OR):0.854;95%confidence interval(CI):0.739-0.987;P=0.032;TB>14.4μmol/L:OR:0.846;95%CI:0.735-0.975;P=0.021]compared with patients with TB<10.2μmol/L.Construction of a Kaplan-Meier curve demonstrated a higher MACE-free survival time for patients with higher TB than for those with lower TB(log-rank P=0.022).After adjustment for cardiovascular risk factors and angiographic characteristics,multivariate Cox analysis showed that a TB level>14.4μmol/L was associated with a reduced risk of MACEs compared with a TB level<10.2μmol/L(hazard ratio 0.667;95%CI:0.485-0.918;P=0.013).CONCLUSION Bilirubin was a protective factor in PMI prediction.For post-PMI patients,elevated bilirubin levels were independently associated with a reduced risk of MACEs during long-term follow-up. 展开更多

BACKGROUND Syncope presents with diagnostic challenges and is associated with high healthcare costs.Neurogenic orthostatic hypotension(nOH)as one cause of syncope is not well established.We review a case of syncope caused by nOH in a patient with Parkinson's disease.CASE SUMMARY We describe a case of syncope caused by nOH in Parkinson's disease and review the literature.A 70-year-old man with Parkinson's disease had uncontrolled blood pressure for 1 mo,with blood pressure ranging from 70/40 to 220/112 mmHg,and once lost consciousness lasting for several minutes after getting up.Ambulatory blood pressure monitoring indicated nocturnal hypertension(up to 217/110 mmHg)and morning orthostatic hypotension(as low as 73/45 mmHg).Seated-to-standing blood pressure measurement showed that the blood pressure dropped from 173/96 mmHg to 95/68 mmHg after standing for 3 min from supine position.A diagnosis of nOH with supine hypertension was made.During the course of treatment,Midodrine could not improve the symptoms.Finally,the patient's blood pressure stabilized with simple strategies by strengthening exercises,reducing the duration of lying in bed in the daytime,and consuming water intake before getting up.CONCLUSION nOH is one of the causes of syncope.Ambulatory blood pressure monitoring is a cost-effective method for its diagnosis,and non-pharmacological measures are still the primary management methods. 展开更多

The first photometric analysis of V811 Cep was carried out.The first complete light curves of V,R and I bands are given.The analysis was carried out by the Wilson-Devinney(W-D)program,and the results show that V811 Cep is a median-contact binary(f=33.9(±4.9)%)with a mass ratio of 0.285.It is a W-subtype contact binary,that is,the component with less mass is hotter than the component with more mass,and the light curves are asymmetric(O’Connell effect),which can be explained by the existence of a hot spot on the component with less mass.The orbital inclination is i=88.3°,indicating that it is a totally eclipsing binary,so the parameters obtained are reliable.Through the O-C analyzing,it is found that the orbital period decreases at the rate of P=-3.90(±0.06)×10^(-7)d yr^(-1),which indicates that the mass transfer occurs from the more massive component to the less massive one. 展开更多

The first charge-coupled device photometric light curves in B,V,Rc,and Ic bands of the short-period contact binary star OQ Cam are presented.Through analyzing the light curves with the WilsonDevinney code,it is found that OQ Cam is a W-type shallow contact binary star with a contact degree of f=20.2%.Based on the O-C analyzing,the orbit period displays a long term increasing with a rate of d P/dt=4.40×10^-7 d yr-1.The increasing in orbit period can be interpreted by mass transfer from the less massive component to the more massive one.As the orbit period increases,OQ Cam would evolve from the present shallow contact configuration to a non-contact stage.So it may be a potential candidate to confirm the thermal relaxation oscillation theory. 展开更多

V0842 Cep is a W UMa-type binary star that has been neglected since its discovery.We analysed the V RcIc light curves,obtained by the 1 m telescope at Weihai Observatory of Shandong University,using the Wilson-Devinney code.V0842 Cep was found to be a shallow contact binary system(f=8.7%)with a mass ratio of 2.281.Because its orbital inclination is greater than 80◦,the photometric results are reliable.A period study is included which reveals a continually decreasing orbital period(dp/dt=1.50(±0.42)×10^(−7)d y^(r−1)).This trend could be attributed to the angular momentum loss via stellar wind. 展开更多

In order to reveal the multi-target pharmacological mechanism of Zedoary turmeric oil combined with docetaxel in the treatment of breast cancer,we used network pharmacology and molecular docking.The targets of docetaxel were retrieved from the Swiss Target Prediction database.The active components of Curcuma Zedoary turmeric were screened using the Traditional Chinese Medicine Systems Pharmacology Database and Analysis Platform(TCMSP),with criteria set as oral bioavailability OB≥30%and drug-likeness DL≥0.1.Potential targets of these components were subsequently predicted.Breast cancer-related targets were retrieved from the OMIM and GeneCards databases.The Venny tool was used to identify 177 overlapping targets between docetaxel,Zedoary turmeric oil,and breast cancer,followed by protein-protein interaction(PPI)analysis.Gene Ontology(GO)functional enrichment and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes(KEGG)pathway enrichment analyses were performed using the Metascape database.A drug-breast cancer-KEGG pathway target network was constructed using Cytoscape 3.8.0.Molecular docking was employed to verify the binding ability between drugs and core targets.Results showed that the combined treatment may exert anti-breast cancer effects through key targets such as MAPK1,PIK3CA,and HSP90AA1,primarily implicating the biological process of protein phosphorylation and engaging the PI3K-Akt signaling pathway.This study successfully predicted the key targets and enriched pathways of Zedoary turmeric oil combined with docetaxel for breast cancer treatment,providing new insights for further research and development. 展开更多

Objective:To explore the intervention effect of the Structured Health Education course and 5A nursing model for self-control of elderly patients with coronary heart disease.Methods:Using the random sampling method,124 elderly CAD patients admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Bengbu Medical University were randomly divided into an experimental group and a control group.The control group line routine health education,experimental group take structured health education combined with 5A nursing before and after the intervention using a coronary heart disease assessment questionnaire,coronary heart disease self-control scale evaluation of two groups of intervention,compare two groups before and after intervention blood pressure,blood sugar,body mass index,lipid index level and complications within 8 months after discharge.Results:After the course intervention,the disease cognition and self-behavior of the experimental group were higher than that of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.1).Conclusion:This course is suitable for elderly patients with coronary heart disease.The 5A model improves the cognitive and management ability of elderly patients to a certain extent,which is worthy of clinical application. 展开更多

This study investigates the application of the teaching model combining cooperative learning and flipped classrooms in university basketball courses in China.By analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of the traditional basketball teaching model and students’satisfaction with the course,the necessity of implementing cooperative learning and flipped classrooms is proposed.The study planned in detail the implementation strategies before class,in the classroom,and after class,and compared them with the control group through an experimental design.The experimental results showed that the new teaching mode demonstrated significant advantages in terms of learning outcomes,student satisfaction,and teacher evaluation.This study provides a valuable reference for the future reform of the physical education curriculum. 展开更多

The theory of“Salt-processing enhancing drug into kidney meridian”was firstly put forward by Chen Jiamu,a medical doctor of Xin’an,in“Enlightening Primer of Materia Medica”.This theory integrates the theory of the five elements of Chinese medicine that the five flavors enter into the five viscera,and forms the theory of the role of the auxiliary materials of Chinese medicine concoctions.This theory is an important guiding significance for the clinical use of raw and cooked Chinese medicine tablets.At present,there are more studies on the theory of“Salt-processing enhancing drug into kidney meridian”in the literature,mainly focusing on the chemical composition,efficacy changes and the concoction mechanism of salt products of traditional Chinese medicines before and after salt preparation.There are relatively few review papers on the theory of“Salt-processing enhancing drug into kidney meridian”from the perspectives of auxiliary salt and attribution of meridians.In this paper,through reviewing relevant ancient books and literature,and on the basis of the previous review articles,this paper centers on the auxiliary salt,and conducts in-depth excavation and elaboration in terms of its sources,types,and the historical evolution of the salt production method.From the perspective of categorization,focusing on the core theory of“Kidney stores essence,governing reproduction,bone and generating marrow,water and brain”,we summarize the changes in efficacy before and after the salt preparation of kidney tonic traditional Chinese medicines,the changes in external and internal constituents as well as the scientific connotation of the concocting mechanism behind the effect-constituent changes.The scientific connotation of the concoction theory of“Salt-processing enhancing drug into kidney meridian”was initially elucidated,providing a new reference model for the study of the theory of Chinese medicine concoction attribution. 展开更多

In the context of Industry 5.0 and global decarbonization,this paper examines how Digital Twin(DT)technology restructures Supply Chain Management toward Green Logistics and Sustainable Supply Chain Management.Framed by the Resource-Based View,Dynamic Capabilities,and sociotechnical systems theory,DTs are conceptualized not as static simulation tools but as strategic cyberphysical assets that reconcile efficiency with environmental performance.We analyze how highfidelity virtual replicas,fed by IoT and 5G,enable real-time carbon monitoring,support circular reverse logistics,and facilitate multi-objective optimization of cost,service and emissions through advanced algorithmic models.The paper clarifies architectural requirements for“green”DTs and distinguishes their role from blockchain in ensuring data integrity.Drawing on cases from DHL,JD Logistics,IKEA and Microsoft,we show that DT integration lowers energy intensity,strengthens climate resilience,and generates auditable ESG data,and we outline an implementation roadmap addressing interoperability,data governance and the digital divide. 展开更多

Building on a review of the literature on SME digital transformation,this paper introduces a Government Technology Industry Traditional Industry(GTI)collaboration framework to reveal the coupling mechanisms between institutional supply,platform enablement and the reconfguration of frm capabilities.It develops a point line plane evolutionary pathway for SME digital upgrading and validates it through the cases of Alibaba’s Rhino Smart Manufacturing and Haier’s COSMOPlat.The fndings show that technology democratization and institutional inclusiveness are key drivers for easing resource constraints,enhancing SMEs’connectivity and enabling their participation in digital trade.The study further highlights the need for a policy shift from merely distributing subsidies to building collaborative ecosystems,providing actionable implications for governments,platform providers and SMEs seeking to promote high-quality,digitally enabled business and trade development. 展开更多

Digital Expression of Green Technology Rules and Pathways to Their Global Adaptation

This article examines how the twin transitions of digitalisation and decarbonisation are reshaping global trade by encoding environmental rules into data structures,digital carriers and verifcation algorithms,a process conceptualised as Green Digital Expression(GDE).It develops a system-oriented“Digital TradeEnvironmentRegulation”model and the notion of algorithmic isomorphism to explain how registry systems,platform logistics tools and infrastructure projects translate green norms into code and thereby reconfgure market access,compliance costs and bargaining power.Comparing an EU-style regulatory coercive path,a platform-based mimetic path and a China-centred infrastructure path,the paper shows that digitalisation can raise green total factor productivity yet simultaneously intensify energy rebound effects and widen a“digital green divide”for the Global South.It concludes with policy recommendations on interoperable standards,support for digital MRV capacity and green IT requirements to align trade facilitation reforms with global climate governance goals. 展开更多
