Besides, a separate generic blocks of, viz., palm (300, 0.4 ha), medicinal trees (700, 0.7 ha), bael (Aegel marmelos) (200, 0.4 ha) and minor fruit tree block (1,200, 1.0 ha). A species diversity Ficus block (225 no. of 30 species in 0.4 ha) was also developed and maintained. Of late rare, endemic, endangered and threatened species Ceropegia (Asclepiadaceae) was identified in 2014. Since then, utmost care was taken for conservation and preservation in agro-biodiversity park. Every year during monsoon, the gap filling was done to maintain greenery in different block plantations. Water ponds and bodies were also created as a source of water for all resident and migratory bio-creatures for promotion of fauna genetic resources. The natural fauna present in agro-biodiversity park are wild boars, field rabbits, small mammalians, field peacocks, reptiles, lizards, avians, amphibians, toads, etc.. Besides, 24 species of insects, five species of fish and eight species of reptiles were recorded. Out of 120 species of butterflies present in the state, 56 were found in the park. The bird species increased from 35 to 172 species within eight years of duration. The creation of different plantation blocks has facilitated to increase flora and fauna in the park. The native flora and fauna were protected by erecting chain link mesh as border fencing against movement of trespass and livestock animals. The agro-biodiversity park was aimed mainly to preserve, conserve and promote the native flora and fauna through ex-situ conservation of species and to establish 15-20 biotic communities, including wild relative field crops, such as cereals, millets, pulses, oilseeds and fiber crops as a repository that flourished in the Deccan plateau in the past. The other objectives were to restore and develop the existing dry land and wet land habit to preserve and conserve the genetic resources.展开更多

Self-Centering Piston-Based Braced Frames(SC-PBBFs)are designed to curtail structural damage under severe ground motions.The self-centering mechanism in this bracing mitigates structural damage during an earthquake,th...Self-Centering Piston-Based Braced Frames(SC-PBBFs)are designed to curtail structural damage under severe ground motions.The self-centering mechanism in this bracing mitigates structural damage during an earthquake,thereby reducing post-earthquake repair costs and contributing to seismic resilience.However,non-structural components,particularly those sensitive to floor acceleration,remain vulnerable,resulting in prolonged func-tional recovery times.This paper aims to address this limitation by introducing a novel structural archetype,the Self-Centering Viscous-Based Braced Frame(SC-VBBF),which integrates superelastic shape memory alloy(SMA)bars,viscous dampers(VDs),and friction springs(FSs).A streamlined analytical approach relies on the strength decoupling of VD from other components using aλfactor to design SC-VBBFs.To evaluate the effectiveness of the hybrid brace,a set of 4-,8-,and 12-story archetypes equipped with SC-PBBs and SC-VBBFs are simulated in OpenSees and analyzed under various earthquake types,including crustal,subcrustal,and subduction events.The results demonstrate the superior performance of the SC-VBBF withλ≤0.5 system compared to SC-PBBFs in mitigating floor accelerations under design-level earthquakes and improving seismic resilience.展开更多
The escalating complexity of modern malware continues to undermine the effectiveness of traditional signature-based detection techniques,which are often unable to adapt to rapidly evolving attack patterns.To address t...The escalating complexity of modern malware continues to undermine the effectiveness of traditional signature-based detection techniques,which are often unable to adapt to rapidly evolving attack patterns.To address these challenges,this study proposes X-MalNet,a lightweight Convolutional Neural Network(CNN)framework designed for static malware classification through image-based representations of binary executables.By converting malware binaries into grayscale images,the model extracts distinctive structural and texture-level features that signify malicious intent,thereby eliminating the dependence on manual feature engineering or dynamic behavioral analysis.Built upon a modified AlexNet architecture,X-MalNet employs transfer learning to enhance generalization and reduce computational cost,enabling efficient training and deployment on limited hardware resources.To promote interpretability and transparency,the framework integrates Gradient-weighted Class ActivationMapping(Grad-CAM)and Deep SHapleyAdditive exPlanations(DeepSHAP),offering spatial and pixel-level visualizations that reveal howspecific image regions influence classification outcomes.These explainability components support security analysts in validating the model’s reasoning,strengthening confidence in AI-assisted malware detection.Comprehensive experiments on the Malimg and Malevis benchmark datasets confirm the superior performance of X-MalNet,achieving classification accuracies of 99.15% and 98.72%,respectively.Further robustness evaluations using FastGradient SignMethod(FGSM)and Projected Gradient Descent(PGD)adversarial attacks demonstrate the model’s resilience against perturbed inputs.In conclusion,X-MalNet emerges as a scalable,interpretable,and robust malware detection framework that effectively balances accuracy,efficiency,and explainability.Its lightweight design and adversarial stability position it as a promising solution for real-world cybersecurity deployments,advancing the development of trustworthy,automated,and transparent malware classification systems.展开更多
