Theirsusceptibility to pitting corrosion was compared by means of electrochemical polarization test. Theinclusions in the steels and their pitting corrosion characteristics were studied by an electronprobe micro-analyzer (EPMA). The results indicate that some inclusions are the main sources ofpitting corrosion. The susceptibility of nickel-chromium steel to pit initiation is less than thatof manganese steel. Under the same conditions, nickel-chromium steel is easier to passivate thanmanganese steel, and the passive films on nickel-chromium steel surface are more stable than that onmanganese steel. In low-alloy steels, the higher the contents of nickel and chromium, the lower thecritical passive pH value. In the same kind of steel, multi-phase inclusions containing sulfide areeasier to initiate pitting corrosion than other inclusions.展开更多

Combining the windowed fast Fourier transform (FFT) algorithm with the improved ANN model, we present a new precise algorithm for non-integer harmonics analysis. According to the result obtained from the Hanning-windowed FFT algorithm, we choose the initial values of orders of harmonics for the neural network. Through such processing, the time of iterations is shortened and the convergence rate of neural network is raised thereby. The simulation results show that close non-integer harmonics can be separated from a signal with higher accuracy and better real-time by using the algorithm presented in the paper. Choosing the equipment with good shock-resistant p erformance and taking shock protection measures while designing the onboard sett ings, the safety of onboard settings can be assured when warships, especially su bmar...Choosing the equipment with good shock-resistant p erformance and taking shock protection measures while designing the onboard sett ings, the safety of onboard settings can be assured when warships, especially su bmarine subjected to non-contact underwater explosion, that is, these means can be used to limit the rattlespace (i.e., the maximum displacement of the equipme nt relative to the base) and the peak acceleration experienced by the equipment. Using shock-resistant equipments is one of shock protection means. The shock- resistant performance of the shock-resistant equipments should be verified in t he design phase of the equipments. The FEA (finite element analysis) software, for example, MSC.NASTRAN ○R , can be used to verify the shock-resistant performance. MSC.PATRAN ○R and MSC.NASTRAN are used for modeling and analyzing the floating raft vibration isolating equipment. The model of the floating raft and the floating raft vibration isolating system are theoretically analyzed and calculated, and the analysis results are in agreement with the test results. The transient response analysis of the system model follows the modal analysis of the floating raft vibration isolating system. And it is used to verify the shock-resistant performance. The ana lysis and calculation method used in this paper can be used to analyze the shock -resistant performance of onboard shock-resistant equipments.展开更多

The consistency of the fuzzy probability assessment is considered. A fuzzy aggregate algorithm is used to indicate the fuzzy expected payoff of alternatives. The level sets of each fuzzy expected payoff are then obtained by solving linear programming models. Based on a defuzzification function associated with the level sets of fuzzy number and a numerical integration formula (Newton-Cotes formula), an effective approach to rank the fuzzy expected payoff of alternatives is also developed to determine the best alternative. Finally, a numerical example is provided to illustrate the proposed method.展开更多

And a method forthe estimation of the equivalent excitation spectrum according to system dynamic responses isdiscussed for the quantitative prediction of isolation effectiveness. Both theoretical analysis andexperimental results are demonstrated. Further work shows the quantitative prediction of transmittedpower flow in a flexible vibration isolation experiment system using the proposed equivalentexcitation spectrum method, by comparison with its testing results.展开更多

Aiming at the mining of design patterns in existing systems, this paper proposes a subgraph isomorphism approach to discover several design patterns in a legacy system at a time. The attributed relational graph is used to describe design patterns and legacy systems. The sub-graph isomorphism approach consists of decomposition and composition process. During the decomposition process, graphs corresponding to the design patterns are decomposed into sub-graphs, some of which are graphs corresponding to the elemental design patterns. The composition process tries to get sub-graph isomorphism of the matched graph if sub-graph isomorphism of each subgraph is obtained. Due to the common structures between design patterns, the proposed approach can reduce the matching times of entities and relations. Compared with the existing methods, the proposed algorithm is not linearly dependent on the number of design pattern graphs. Barium (Bag) ferrite ultra fine powders were synthesized by using sol-gel in which polyethylene glycol 200(PEG200) was used as gelling agent. The transition of Ba ferrite was studied by thermal gravimetric and differe...Barium (Bag) ferrite ultra fine powders were synthesized by using sol-gel in which polyethylene glycol 200(PEG200) was used as gelling agent. The transition of Ba ferrite was studied by thermal gravimetric and differential thermal analysis (TG-DTA) technology. The micro structural changes were analyzed using X-ray diffraction (XRD) and atomic force microscopy (AFM) for the specimens annealed at different temperatures. The transition temperatures were 414.55°C and separately corresponding to BaFe2O4 and BaFe,2O19. There were three types of microstructures for Ba ferrite ultrafine powder specimen annealed at 800°C. For the specimens annealed at different temperatures, there were different kinds of Ba ferrites. The ferrite powder consists of BaFet2O19 and BaFe2O4 for the specimen annealed at 800°C, and only BaFe^O^ can be found in the specimen annealed at 1000°C. The magnetic properties, a , and H c of BaFC|2O19 ultrafine powders are different from that of BaFe12O19 bulk material.展开更多

Based on the study on the mechanism analysis and computation method of the hydrodynamic performance of the propeller-rudder-rudder bubble combination, computer simulation system was built and then used to design and simulate four kinds of rudder bubbles, then the model comparison tests with the original rudder was carried out and the sensible factors influencing the energy-saving effects of rudder bubble was also analyzed. On this basis, a further optimized design of the rudder bubble for a fishing boat was put forward, and comparison test on a real boat was then carried out. It is shown that the optimized rudder bubble design can effectively recover wake energy of ships and the rudder bubble installation features a simple operation and high cost-effectiveness, and the energy-saving effect of real boat test achieves 5.1%.展开更多
