China launched its Arctic research program and organized the first Chinese National Arctic Research Expedition (CHINARE-Arctic) in 1999. The...China launched its Arctic research program and organized the first Chinese National Arctic Research Expedition (CHINARE-Arctic) in 1999. By 2016, six further expeditions had been conducted using the R/V Xuelong. The main region of the expeditions has focused on the Pacific sector of the Arctic Ocean for sea ice observations. The expeditions have used icebreaker, helicopter, boat, floe, and buoy platforms to perform these observations. Some new technologies have been developed, in particular, the underway auto-observing system for sea ice thickness using an electromagnetic instrument. The long-term measurement systems, e.g., the sea ice mass balance buoy, allow observations to extend from summer to winter. Some international cooperation projects have been involved in CHINARE-Arctic, especially the "Developing Arctic Modeling and Observing Capabilities for Long-Term Environmental Studies" project funded by the European Union during the International Polar Year. Arctic sea ice observations have been used to verify remote sensing products, identify changes in Arctic sea ice, optimize the parameterizations of sea ice physical processes, and assess the accessibility of ice-covered waters, especially around the Northeast Passage. Recommendations are provided as guidance to future CHINARE-Arctic projects. For example, a standardized operation system of sea ice observations should be contracted, and the observations of sea ice dynamics should be enhanced. The upcoming launch of a new Chinese icebreaker will allow increased ship time in support of future CHINARE Arctic oceanographic investigations.展开更多

Background:Ampelopsis grossedentata,vine tea,which is the tea alternative beverages in China.In vine tea processing,a large amount of broken tea is produced,which has low commercial value.Methods:This study investigat...Background:Ampelopsis grossedentata,vine tea,which is the tea alternative beverages in China.In vine tea processing,a large amount of broken tea is produced,which has low commercial value.Methods:This study investigates the influence of different extraction methods(room temperature water extraction,boiling water extraction,ultrasonic-assisted room temperature water extraction,and ultrasonic-assisted boiling water extraction,referred to as room temperature water extraction(RE),boiling water extraction(BE),ultrasonic assistance at room temperature water extraction(URE),and ultrasonic assistance in boiling water extraction(UBE))on the yield,dihydromyricetin(DMY)content,free amino acid composition,volatile aroma components,and antioxidant properties of vine tea extracts.Results:A notable influence of extraction temperature on the yield of vine tea extracts(P<0.05),with BE yielding the highest at 43.13±0.26%,higher than that of RE(34.29±0.81%).Ultrasound-assisted extraction significantly increased the DMY content of the extracts(P<0.05),whereas DMY content in the RE extracts was 59.94±1.70%,that of URE reached 66.14±2.78%.Analysis revealed 17 amino acids,with L-serine and aspartic acid being the most abundant in the extracts,nevertheless ultrasound-assisted extraction reduced total free amino acid content.Gas chromatography-mass spectrometry analysis demonstrated an increase in the diversity and quantity of compounds in the vine tea water extracts obtained through ultrasonic-assisted extraction.Specifically,69 and 68 volatile compounds were found in URE and UBE extracts,which were higher than the number found in RE and BE extracts.In vitro,antioxidant activity assessments revealed varying antioxidant capacities among different extraction methods,with RE exhibiting the highest DPPH scavenging rate,URE leading in ABTS•+free radical scavenging,and BE demonstrating superior ferric ion reducing antioxidant activity.Conclusion:The findings suggest that extraction methods significantly influence the chemical composition and antioxidant properties of vine tea extracts.Ultrasonic-assisted extraction proved instrumental in elevating the DMY content in vine tea extracts,thereby enriching its flavor profile while maintaining its antioxidant properties.展开更多
Background:The type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)pharmacodynamic study of various parts of Schisandra sphenanthera was conducted in the previous stage,and it was found that dichloromethane extracted part(SDP)had a signifi...Background:The type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)pharmacodynamic study of various parts of Schisandra sphenanthera was conducted in the previous stage,and it was found that dichloromethane extracted part(SDP)had a significant hypoglycemic effect.Therefore,the components of SDP were analyzed,and the specific mechanism of its anti-T2DM was explored.Methods:We used a high-fat,high-sugar diet in combination with streptozotocin to induce a T2DM rat model,and the model rats were divided into two groups according to body weight and blood glucose.Triglyceride,oral glucose tolerance test,fasting blood glucose,low density lipoprotein cholesterol,superoxide dismutase,insulin,glycated hemoglobin,total cholesterol,nonesterified free fatty acids,alanine aminotransferase,high-density lipoprotein cholesterol,aspartate aminotransferase,malondialdehyde,and glutathione peroxidase were measured,organ indices were calculated,and pathological sections of pancreas and liver were observed.The 16S rRNA V3–V4 region of intestinal flora was sequenced to explore the effect of SDP on biochemical indicators and intestinal flora.Based on the above indicators,the anti-T2DM mechanism of SDP in Schisandra sphenanthera was analyzed.Results:After six weeks of administration,the biochemical indices of diabetic rats were diminished compared to the control group.And SDP could significantly increase the gut microbialα-diversity index,resulting in significant changes in the flora of T2DM rats,with increased richness and diversity,reduced harmful flora,and significantly back-regulated the levels of acetic acid,propionic acid,and butyric acid.Conclusion:SDP can improve the symptoms associated with elevated blood glucose,dyslipidemia,elevated fasting insulin levels,and damaged glucose tolerance in rats.SDP against T2DM may be through the control of intestinal flora to normalize and exert anti-diabetic effect;its main active components may be lignans and terpenoids.展开更多

Calculated indices and evaluation of lipoprotein particle size have widely been used to predict cardiovascular risk. The aim of this study was to evaluate HDL particle size and LDL particle size estimate based on TG/HDL-C as well as apoB/apoA-I ratio as possible marker and atherogenic indices, respectively, of cardiovascular disease risk in the presence of dyslipidemia. We evaluated 100 individuals of both gender, without treatment with lipid-lowering drugs, 27 normolipidemic and 73 dyslipidemic, such as isolated hypercholesterolemia (n = 16), isolated hypertriglyceridemia (n = 17), low HDL-C (n = 26) and mixed dyslipidemia (n = 14). The HDL particle size did not differ between groups. The TG/HDL-C ratio was higher in groups with isolated hypertriglyceridemia (4.2 ± 1.5), low HDL-C (5.2 ± 3.1) and mixed dyslipidemia (5.3 ± 1.6). The apoB/apoA-I ratio was increased in all groups of dyslipidemia (apoB/apoA-I > 0.5) when compared to normolipidemic (apoB/apoA-I = 0.5, p < 0.001). There was a positive linear correlation between the TG/HDL-C ratio and the apoB/apoA-I ratio in low HDL-C group (r = 0.507, p = 0.008, Spearman). The results suggest that the evaluations of lipoproteins particles remodeling markers and the use of calculated indices may contribute to the evaluation of cardiovascular disease risk when dyslipidemia take place.展开更多

In addition to being among the major tiggers behind frequent earthquakes,fractures can allow surface water to infiltrate the permeable rocks,entering both shallow and deep aquifers.Occasionally,water penetrates to gre...In addition to being among the major tiggers behind frequent earthquakes,fractures can allow surface water to infiltrate the permeable rocks,entering both shallow and deep aquifers.Occasionally,water penetrates to great depths,heats up,and becomes geothermal water.Fractures similarly allow hydrothermal fluids to dissolve their chemical elements and form a mineral deposit.Given these important roles of fractures,this paper aims to map faults and fractures across the entire Moroccan territory in the form of lineaments extracted from remotely sensed images,and then analyze their spatial distribution using the fractal dimension(FD)approach,and then generate a fractal map of the entire Morocco as a guide for subsurface investigation purposes.It was found that the areas with high fractal dimension(FD˃1),considered potential groundwater recharge areas,essentially the northern Anti Atlas,the southwestern High Atlas,and the Meseta,present spatial conformity with several known mineral deposits,geothermal areas,and the epicenters of many historical earthquakes.This conformity can be a key element in expecting other unexplored mineral deposits,aquifers,or geothermal regions,as well as predicting the areas that may bear earthquake hazards in areas with high FD across the entire Moroccan territory.展开更多

Studies carried out in natural forests are few. It is in this context that this inventory of entomofauna was carried out from April to July 2022 in the Scientific City Forest. The general objective is to contribute to the knowledge of the trapping, mowing and sight hunting;the three types of traps used are: Barber pots, colored plates and aerial traps. This study made it possible to invent 1523 specimens belonging to 106 species, 99 genera, 59 families and 12 orders. The order Diptera is the most abundant and richest in species (47% and 26%). This order is followed by Hymenoptera (23% and 23%). Formicidae (14%) and Calliphoridae (13%) are the most abundant families. The Formicidae family presents the greatest species richness (7%), Calliphora sp and Polyrhachis cyaniventris present the highest specific relative abundance of the entire collection. These preliminary results of the entomofauna of Scientific City constitute a database. However, this study must be continued and extended to other areas of Brazzaville, using other capture techniques and taking into account the seasons.展开更多

They also contribute to human and animal nutrition and are vector agents of several diseases. In Congo-Brazzaville the diversity of entomofauna is very little known. The present study aimed to investigate ponds. The inventory of insects was conducted in ponds Ngatsouéné and Yo, the first one was located in the center of Djambala and the last one was 2 km from the center of the city. The insects were caught with an entomological net from 23rd to 24th December 2012. The study identifies 37 species belonging to 17 families and 7 orders. This entomofauna study showed a high proportion of the Orthoptera order (27.20%). Family Mantidae has the largest species number (13.51%). Mantis sp is the most abundant species (13.51%). This is a database and therefore, should be extended to different aquatic ecosystems of the Department of Plateaux. The results obtained during this study will contribute to the development of a database for the management of entomofauna in Congo.展开更多

Metal phosphosulfides(MPS_(x)),especially BiPS_(4),have emerged as promising anode candidates for sodiumion batteries,distinguished by distinctive multinary redox chemistry,open tunnel-type structure,and high theoreti...Metal phosphosulfides(MPS_(x)),especially BiPS_(4),have emerged as promising anode candidates for sodiumion batteries,distinguished by distinctive multinary redox chemistry,open tunnel-type structure,and high theoretical capacity(>1000 m Ah g^(-1)).However,their practical implementation is fundamentally limited by polysulfide dissolution/shuttling and structural instability during prolonged cycling.Herein,we develop a groundbreaking two-stage metal-organic framework(MOF)-engineered compositing strategy through which Bi-MOF-derived BiPS_(4)/C pillars are robustly armored with conductive Ni-HHTP(HHTP=2,3,6,7,10,11-hexahydroxytriphenylene)nanorods.Density functional theory calculations reveal that this design achieves dual functionality:increased carrier density for enhanced charge transport dynamics and effective polysulfide adsorption to inhibit dissolution.The fabricated BiPS_(4)/C@Ni-HHTP composite delivers remarkable electrochemical properties,including high initial charge/discharge specific capacities of 1063.6/1181.3 mAh g^(-1)at 0.1 A g^(-1)and outstanding long-term stability with 99.2% capacity retention after 2000 cycles at 2 A g^(-1).Such superb performance stems from the perfect synergy of the inherent high-capacity redox behavior of BiPS_(4),the buffering effect of MOF-derived carbon,and the conductivity,adsorption sites and mechanical resilience of Ni-HHTP.This work establishes a new design paradigm for MPS_(x)materials,demonstrating how to simultaneously overcome conductivity limitations and shuttle effects in conversion-type electrodes.展开更多

Background:Scientific animal models are indispensable for studying trauma repair.This work aimed at establishing a more scientific rat trauma model by studying different rat trauma models caused by different trauma nu...Background:Scientific animal models are indispensable for studying trauma repair.This work aimed at establishing a more scientific rat trauma model by studying different rat trauma models caused by different trauma numbers,locations,and trauma attachment tension unloaders and rat age.Methods:A four-trauma self-upper,lower,left and right control model;a two-trauma self-trauma bare and ring control model;and a young and old rat trauma model were created to evaluate the condition of these traumas.Results:In the four-trauma self-control model,the healing status of the upper proximal cephalic trauma was better than that of the lower proximal caudal trauma,whereas there was no significant difference between the left and right trauma.The healing rate and postwound condition of the trauma with a ring control in the two-trauma model were better than those of the bare side.The healing speed of the old rats was slower,and the amount of extracellular matrix in the subcutaneous tissue after healing was significantly lower than that of the young rats.Conclusion:The double trauma with a ring is a more scientific and reasonable experimental model.There is a significant difference between young and old rats in the wound healing process.Therefore,the appropriate age of the rats should be selected according to the main age range of the patients with similar conditions in the clinical setting being mimicked.展开更多
The corrosion behaviors of an as-cast FeCoNiAl_(0.75)Cr_(1.25)high-entropy alloy(HEA)in acidic Na_(2)SO_(4)solution with different pH values were investigated.The results indicate that the as-cast FeCoNiAl_(0.75)Cr_(1...The corrosion behaviors of an as-cast FeCoNiAl_(0.75)Cr_(1.25)high-entropy alloy(HEA)in acidic Na_(2)SO_(4)solution with different pH values were investigated.The results indicate that the as-cast FeCoNiAl_(0.75)Cr_(1.25)HEA is mainly composed of face-centered cubic phase,body-centered cubic(BCC1)phase(Co–Cr–Fe)and ordered BCC(B2)phase(Ni–Al),in which BCC1 phase and B2 phase have a eutectic microstructure.Moreover,the corrosion of B2 phase occurs preferentially in a 0.05 mol/L SO_(4)^(2−)acidic solution.The electrochemical measurement results show that the corrosion resistance of the investigated HEA significantly changes as the solution pH increases from 2 to 2.5.This indicates that there is a critical pH in the range of 2–2.5 that affects the corrosion of HEA.In addition,the results of X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy prove that the surface film of FeCoNiAl_(0.75)Cr_(1.25)in SO_(4)^(2−)solution is formed with Al_(2)O_(3)and Cr_(2)O_(3)as the main components,and The content of Al2O3 and Cr_(2)O_(3)increases with increasing solution pH.展开更多
Garnet-based all-solid-state lithium batteries(ASSLBs)were considered as the most promising energy storage device due to their high energy density and good safety.However,interface problems caused by impurities such a...Garnet-based all-solid-state lithium batteries(ASSLBs)were considered as the most promising energy storage device due to their high energy density and good safety.However,interface problems caused by impurities such as Li_(2)CO_(3) on the surface still hinder the practical application of garnet-based ASSLBs.Here,we use a simple ultrasonic spraying method to coat SiO_(2) on the Li_(6.4)La_(3)Zr_(1.4)Ta_(0.6)O_(12)(LLZTO)surface,and in-situ construct Li_(4)SiO_(4)/Li_(2) O/Li_(2)1 Si5 nano-multifunctional interlayer through the high-temperature conversion reaction of SiO_(2).Experiments and density functional theory(DFT)calculations demonstrate that the introduced Li_(4)SiO_(4)/Li_(2) O/Li_(2)1 Si_(5) nano-multifunctional interlayer at the LLZTO/Li interface can significantly improve the air stability and interface contact of LLZTO/Li.As a result,the interface impedance of Li/SiO_(2)@LLZTO/Li was reduced to 24.2Ωcm^(-2),and it can operate stably over 2400 and 1000 h at current densities of 0.05 and 0.2 mA cm^(−2),respectively.The full cell assembled with LiFePO_(4)(LFP)as cathode(Li/SiO_(2)@LLZTO/LFP)also exhibits excellent cycling performance(capacity retention rate of 95%after 50 cycles at 0.1 C)and rate performance(140 mAh g^(−1) at 0.1 C and 107 mAh g−1 at 1 C).This research provides a strategy to improve interface problems and achieve dendrite-free ASSLBs through in-situ transformation constructed nano-multifunctional interlayers.展开更多

Isolated strains of enterobacteria were characterized by API 20E and API Staph galleries and confirmed by API Web. Antibiotic resistance was performed according to the recommendations of the antibiogram committee (CA-SFM, 2019). Physico-chemical analysis of the water was carried out by (Rodier, 2009). The microbiological results revealed an abundance on the Domoro islands (5.37.106 ± 1.5.105 and 1.97.105 ± 4.94.104), successively for total aerobic mesophilic flora (FMAT), and thermotolerant coliform (E. coli) and on the Maguite Islands (4.71.106 ± 7.14.105 and 2.32.105 ± 2.86.104), alternately for total aerobic mesophilic flora (FMAT), and thermotolerant coliform (E. coli). The results obtained after incubation of the biochemical tests using the API 20E and API Staph galleries and their proposed numerical profile analyzed using Api software and confirmed by Api Web confirmed the contamination of the waters of Lake Fitri by pathogenic strains of E. coli, Staphylococcus and Salmonella spp. The results of the antibiogram carried out show the emergence of certain resistances to Tobramycin, Flucytosine and Teicoplanin. The average levels of BOD5, COD, SS, Nitrate (NO3) and Nitrite (NO2) for Domoro Island were 32.14 ± 2.37 mg/L, 423.86 ± 4.78 mg/L, 65.42 ± 2.27 mg/L, 0.04 ± 0.01 mg/L and 3.32 ± 1.48 mg/L respectively. The water from the islands of Lake Fitri must therefore be rigorously treated before consumption.展开更多

文摘China launched its Arctic research program and organized the first Chinese National Arctic Research Expedition (CHINARE-Arctic) in 1999. By 2016, six further expeditions had been conducted using the R/V Xuelong. The main region of the expeditions has focused on the Pacific sector of the Arctic Ocean for sea ice observations. The expeditions have used icebreaker, helicopter, boat, floe, and buoy platforms to perform these observations. Some new technologies have been developed, in particular, the underway auto-observing system for sea ice thickness using an electromagnetic instrument. The long-term measurement systems, e.g., the sea ice mass balance buoy, allow observations to extend from summer to winter. Some international cooperation projects have been involved in CHINARE-Arctic, especially the "Developing Arctic Modeling and Observing Capabilities for Long-Term Environmental Studies" project funded by the European Union during the International Polar Year. Arctic sea ice observations have been used to verify remote sensing products, identify changes in Arctic sea ice, optimize the parameterizations of sea ice physical processes, and assess the accessibility of ice-covered waters, especially around the Northeast Passage. Recommendations are provided as guidance to future CHINARE-Arctic projects. For example, a standardized operation system of sea ice observations should be contracted, and the observations of sea ice dynamics should be enhanced. The upcoming launch of a new Chinese icebreaker will allow increased ship time in support of future CHINARE Arctic oceanographic investigations.

文摘Research on fires at the wildland-urban inter-face(WUI)has generated significant insights and advance-ments across various fields of study.Environmental,agri-culture,and social sciences have played prominent roles in understanding the impacts of fires in the environment,in protecting communities,and addressing management challenges.This study aimed to create a database using a text mining technique for global researchers interested in WUI-projects and highlighting the interest of countries in this field.Author’s-Keywords analysis emphasized the dominance of fire science-related terms,especially related to WUI,and identified keyword clusters related to the WUI fire-risk-assessment-system-“exposure”,“danger”,and“vulnerability”within wildfire research.Trends over the past decade showcase shifting research interests with a growing focus on WUI fires,while regional variations highlighted that the“exposure”keyword cluster received greater atten-tion in the southern Europe and South America.However,vulnerability keywords have relatively a lower representation across all regions.The analysis underscores the interdisci-plinary nature of WUI research and emphasizes the need for targeted approaches to address the unique challenges of the wildland-urban interface.Overall,this study provides valu-able insights for researchers and serves as a foundation for further collaboration in this field through the understanding of the trends over recent years and in different regions.

文摘Background:Ampelopsis grossedentata,vine tea,which is the tea alternative beverages in China.In vine tea processing,a large amount of broken tea is produced,which has low commercial value.Methods:This study investigates the influence of different extraction methods(room temperature water extraction,boiling water extraction,ultrasonic-assisted room temperature water extraction,and ultrasonic-assisted boiling water extraction,referred to as room temperature water extraction(RE),boiling water extraction(BE),ultrasonic assistance at room temperature water extraction(URE),and ultrasonic assistance in boiling water extraction(UBE))on the yield,dihydromyricetin(DMY)content,free amino acid composition,volatile aroma components,and antioxidant properties of vine tea extracts.Results:A notable influence of extraction temperature on the yield of vine tea extracts(P<0.05),with BE yielding the highest at 43.13±0.26%,higher than that of RE(34.29±0.81%).Ultrasound-assisted extraction significantly increased the DMY content of the extracts(P<0.05),whereas DMY content in the RE extracts was 59.94±1.70%,that of URE reached 66.14±2.78%.Analysis revealed 17 amino acids,with L-serine and aspartic acid being the most abundant in the extracts,nevertheless ultrasound-assisted extraction reduced total free amino acid content.Gas chromatography-mass spectrometry analysis demonstrated an increase in the diversity and quantity of compounds in the vine tea water extracts obtained through ultrasonic-assisted extraction.Specifically,69 and 68 volatile compounds were found in URE and UBE extracts,which were higher than the number found in RE and BE extracts.In vitro,antioxidant activity assessments revealed varying antioxidant capacities among different extraction methods,with RE exhibiting the highest DPPH scavenging rate,URE leading in ABTS•+free radical scavenging,and BE demonstrating superior ferric ion reducing antioxidant activity.Conclusion:The findings suggest that extraction methods significantly influence the chemical composition and antioxidant properties of vine tea extracts.Ultrasonic-assisted extraction proved instrumental in elevating the DMY content in vine tea extracts,thereby enriching its flavor profile while maintaining its antioxidant properties.

文摘Background:The type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)pharmacodynamic study of various parts of Schisandra sphenanthera was conducted in the previous stage,and it was found that dichloromethane extracted part(SDP)had a significant hypoglycemic effect.Therefore,the components of SDP were analyzed,and the specific mechanism of its anti-T2DM was explored.Methods:We used a high-fat,high-sugar diet in combination with streptozotocin to induce a T2DM rat model,and the model rats were divided into two groups according to body weight and blood glucose.Triglyceride,oral glucose tolerance test,fasting blood glucose,low density lipoprotein cholesterol,superoxide dismutase,insulin,glycated hemoglobin,total cholesterol,nonesterified free fatty acids,alanine aminotransferase,high-density lipoprotein cholesterol,aspartate aminotransferase,malondialdehyde,and glutathione peroxidase were measured,organ indices were calculated,and pathological sections of pancreas and liver were observed.The 16S rRNA V3–V4 region of intestinal flora was sequenced to explore the effect of SDP on biochemical indicators and intestinal flora.Based on the above indicators,the anti-T2DM mechanism of SDP in Schisandra sphenanthera was analyzed.Results:After six weeks of administration,the biochemical indices of diabetic rats were diminished compared to the control group.And SDP could significantly increase the gut microbialα-diversity index,resulting in significant changes in the flora of T2DM rats,with increased richness and diversity,reduced harmful flora,and significantly back-regulated the levels of acetic acid,propionic acid,and butyric acid.Conclusion:SDP can improve the symptoms associated with elevated blood glucose,dyslipidemia,elevated fasting insulin levels,and damaged glucose tolerance in rats.SDP against T2DM may be through the control of intestinal flora to normalize and exert anti-diabetic effect;its main active components may be lignans and terpenoids.

文摘Dyslipidemia may influence enzymes and transfer proteins needed to the lipoprotein particle remodeling. Calculated indices and evaluation of lipoprotein particle size have widely been used to predict cardiovascular risk. The aim of this study was to evaluate HDL particle size and LDL particle size estimate based on TG/HDL-C as well as apoB/apoA-I ratio as possible marker and atherogenic indices, respectively, of cardiovascular disease risk in the presence of dyslipidemia. We evaluated 100 individuals of both gender, without treatment with lipid-lowering drugs, 27 normolipidemic and 73 dyslipidemic, such as isolated hypercholesterolemia (n = 16), isolated hypertriglyceridemia (n = 17), low HDL-C (n = 26) and mixed dyslipidemia (n = 14). The HDL particle size did not differ between groups. The TG/HDL-C ratio was higher in groups with isolated hypertriglyceridemia (4.2 ± 1.5), low HDL-C (5.2 ± 3.1) and mixed dyslipidemia (5.3 ± 1.6). The apoB/apoA-I ratio was increased in all groups of dyslipidemia (apoB/apoA-I > 0.5) when compared to normolipidemic (apoB/apoA-I = 0.5, p < 0.001). There was a positive linear correlation between the TG/HDL-C ratio and the apoB/apoA-I ratio in low HDL-C group (r = 0.507, p = 0.008, Spearman). The results suggest that the evaluations of lipoproteins particles remodeling markers and the use of calculated indices may contribute to the evaluation of cardiovascular disease risk when dyslipidemia take place.

文摘In addition to being among the major tiggers behind frequent earthquakes,fractures can allow surface water to infiltrate the permeable rocks,entering both shallow and deep aquifers.Occasionally,water penetrates to great depths,heats up,and becomes geothermal water.Fractures similarly allow hydrothermal fluids to dissolve their chemical elements and form a mineral deposit.Given these important roles of fractures,this paper aims to map faults and fractures across the entire Moroccan territory in the form of lineaments extracted from remotely sensed images,and then analyze their spatial distribution using the fractal dimension(FD)approach,and then generate a fractal map of the entire Morocco as a guide for subsurface investigation purposes.It was found that the areas with high fractal dimension(FD˃1),considered potential groundwater recharge areas,essentially the northern Anti Atlas,the southwestern High Atlas,and the Meseta,present spatial conformity with several known mineral deposits,geothermal areas,and the epicenters of many historical earthquakes.This conformity can be a key element in expecting other unexplored mineral deposits,aquifers,or geothermal regions,as well as predicting the areas that may bear earthquake hazards in areas with high FD across the entire Moroccan territory.
文摘The entomofauna in the Republic of Congo is very little known. Studies carried out in natural forests are few. It is in this context that this inventory of entomofauna was carried out from April to July 2022 in the Scientific City Forest. The general objective is to contribute to the knowledge of the trapping, mowing and sight hunting;the three types of traps used are: Barber pots, colored plates and aerial traps. This study made it possible to invent 1523 specimens belonging to 106 species, 99 genera, 59 families and 12 orders. The order Diptera is the most abundant and richest in species (47% and 26%). This order is followed by Hymenoptera (23% and 23%). Formicidae (14%) and Calliphoridae (13%) are the most abundant families. The Formicidae family presents the greatest species richness (7%), Calliphora sp and Polyrhachis cyaniventris present the highest specific relative abundance of the entire collection. These preliminary results of the entomofauna of Scientific City constitute a database. However, this study must be continued and extended to other areas of Brazzaville, using other capture techniques and taking into account the seasons.

文摘Saponins associated with Panax notoginseng(P.notoginseng)demonstrate significant therapeutic efficacy across multiple diseases.However,certain high-yield saponins face limited clinical applications due to their reduced pharmacological efficacy.This study synthesized and evaluated 36 saponin-1,2,3-triazole derivatives of ginsenosides Rg1/Rb1 and notoginsenoside R1 for anti-adipogenesis activity in vitro.The research revealed that the ginsenosides Rg1-1,2,3-triazole derivative a17 demonstrates superior adipogenesis inhibitory effects.Structure-activity relationships(SARs)analysis indicates that incorporating an amidyl-substituted 1,2,3-triazole into the saponin side chain via Click reaction enhances anti-adipogenesis activity.Additionally,several other derivatives exhibit general adipogenesis inhibition.Compound a17 demonstrated enhanced potency compared to the parent ginsenoside Rg1.Mechanistic investigations revealed that a17 exhibits dose-dependent inhibition of adipogenesis in vitro,accompanied by decreased expression of preadipocytes.Peroxisome proliferator-activated receptorγ(PPARγ),fatty acid synthase(FAS),and fatty acid binding protein 4(FABP4)adipogenesis regulators.These findings establish the ginsenoside Rg1-1,2,3-triazole derivative a17 as a promising adipocyte differentiation inhibitor and potential therapeutic agent for obesity and associated metabolic disorders.This research provides a foundation for developing effective therapeutic approaches for various metabolic syndromes.

文摘Recombinant human growth hormone(rhGH)has been widely used for the treatment of disorders associated with GH deficiency and multiple clinical indications[1].Accurate determination of biological activity is essential in the development,registration,and quality control of rhGH pharmaceutical products[2].However,the existing in vivo bioassay procedure based on somatropin-induced weight gain in rats is complicated,and the use of a rat cell line-based approach(Nb2-11 bioassay),which measures the production of adenosine triphosphate(ATP)as a direct indicator of cell growth,has a low mechanism of action(MOA)relevance.Therefore,novel rhGH bioassays are still needed.To this end,we developed a reporter gene assay(RGA)based on the GH/insulin-like growth factor-1(IGF-1)axis.
文摘Insects represent an important taxon for the functioning of ecosystems. They also contribute to human and animal nutrition and are vector agents of several diseases. In Congo-Brazzaville the diversity of entomofauna is very little known. The present study aimed to investigate ponds. The inventory of insects was conducted in ponds Ngatsouéné and Yo, the first one was located in the center of Djambala and the last one was 2 km from the center of the city. The insects were caught with an entomological net from 23rd to 24th December 2012. The study identifies 37 species belonging to 17 families and 7 orders. This entomofauna study showed a high proportion of the Orthoptera order (27.20%). Family Mantidae has the largest species number (13.51%). Mantis sp is the most abundant species (13.51%). This is a database and therefore, should be extended to different aquatic ecosystems of the Department of Plateaux. The results obtained during this study will contribute to the development of a database for the management of entomofauna in Congo.

文摘Helicobacter pylori(H.pylori)is a gram-negative,spiral-shaped,microaerophilic bacterium that infects over 43%of the global population,with higher prevalence in regions of low socioeconomic status and poor sanitation.It is transmitted mainly through oral-oral and fecal-oral routes and has evolved multiple mechanisms that allow colonization of the acidic gastric environment,including urease production,chemotaxis,and a variety of adhesins.The bacterium expresses several virulence factors that enhance its pathogenicity,such as cytotoxin-associated antigen A,vacuolating cytotoxin A,and the small regulatory RNA NikS,found to be essential for the fine-tuning of the bacterial virulence.Although many infected individuals remain asymptomatic,H.pylori infection is associated with multiple clinical outcomes,including chronic gastritis,peptic ulcers,gastric adenocarcinoma,and mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue lymphoma,all correlated to the host immune response and chronic inflammation.Diagnosis relies on both invasive and non-invasive methods,and growing antibiotic resistance poses a major challenge to treatment.New therapeutic strategies,such as tailored therapy,potassium-competitive acid blockers,and probiotics are under investigation.Vaccine development remains a key area of research,with several candidates currently in preclinical and clinical evaluation.

文摘Metal phosphosulfides(MPS_(x)),especially BiPS_(4),have emerged as promising anode candidates for sodiumion batteries,distinguished by distinctive multinary redox chemistry,open tunnel-type structure,and high theoretical capacity(>1000 m Ah g^(-1)).However,their practical implementation is fundamentally limited by polysulfide dissolution/shuttling and structural instability during prolonged cycling.Herein,we develop a groundbreaking two-stage metal-organic framework(MOF)-engineered compositing strategy through which Bi-MOF-derived BiPS_(4)/C pillars are robustly armored with conductive Ni-HHTP(HHTP=2,3,6,7,10,11-hexahydroxytriphenylene)nanorods.Density functional theory calculations reveal that this design achieves dual functionality:increased carrier density for enhanced charge transport dynamics and effective polysulfide adsorption to inhibit dissolution.The fabricated BiPS_(4)/C@Ni-HHTP composite delivers remarkable electrochemical properties,including high initial charge/discharge specific capacities of 1063.6/1181.3 mAh g^(-1)at 0.1 A g^(-1)and outstanding long-term stability with 99.2% capacity retention after 2000 cycles at 2 A g^(-1).Such superb performance stems from the perfect synergy of the inherent high-capacity redox behavior of BiPS_(4),the buffering effect of MOF-derived carbon,and the conductivity,adsorption sites and mechanical resilience of Ni-HHTP.This work establishes a new design paradigm for MPS_(x)materials,demonstrating how to simultaneously overcome conductivity limitations and shuttle effects in conversion-type electrodes.

文摘Eight previously undescribed lanostane triterpenoids,including five nortriterpenoids with 26carbons,ganothenoids A-E(1-5),and three lanostanoids,ganothenoids F-H(6-8),along with 24 known ones(9-32),were isolated from the fruiting bodies of Ganodrma theaecolum.The structures of the novel compounds were elucidated using comprehensive spectroscopic methods,including electronic circular dichroism(ECD)and nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR)calculations.Compounds 1-32 were assessed for their neuroprotective effects against H_(2)O_(2)-induced damage in human neuroblastoma SH-SY5Y cells,as well as their inhibitory activities against protein tyrosine phosphatase 1B(PTP1B)andα-glucosidase.Compound 4demonstrated the most potent neuroprotective activity against H_(2)O_(2)-induced oxidative stress by suppressing G_0/G_1 phase cell cycle arrest,reducing reactive oxygen species(ROS)levels,and inhibiting cell apoptosis through modulation of B-cell lymphoma 2 protein(Bcl-2)and Bcl-2 associated X-protein(Bax)protein expression.Compounds 26,12,and 28 exhibited PTP1B inhibitory activities with IC_(50)values ranging from 13.92 to 56.94μmol·L~(-1),while compound12 alone displayed significant inhibitory effects onα-glucosidase with an IC_(50)value of 43.56μmol·L~(-1).Additionally,enzyme kinetic analyses and molecular docking simulations were conducted for compounds 26 and 12 with PTP1B andα-glucosidase,respectively.

文摘Background:Scientific animal models are indispensable for studying trauma repair.This work aimed at establishing a more scientific rat trauma model by studying different rat trauma models caused by different trauma numbers,locations,and trauma attachment tension unloaders and rat age.Methods:A four-trauma self-upper,lower,left and right control model;a two-trauma self-trauma bare and ring control model;and a young and old rat trauma model were created to evaluate the condition of these traumas.Results:In the four-trauma self-control model,the healing status of the upper proximal cephalic trauma was better than that of the lower proximal caudal trauma,whereas there was no significant difference between the left and right trauma.The healing rate and postwound condition of the trauma with a ring control in the two-trauma model were better than those of the bare side.The healing speed of the old rats was slower,and the amount of extracellular matrix in the subcutaneous tissue after healing was significantly lower than that of the young rats.Conclusion:The double trauma with a ring is a more scientific and reasonable experimental model.There is a significant difference between young and old rats in the wound healing process.Therefore,the appropriate age of the rats should be selected according to the main age range of the patients with similar conditions in the clinical setting being mimicked.

文摘The corrosion behaviors of an as-cast FeCoNiAl_(0.75)Cr_(1.25)high-entropy alloy(HEA)in acidic Na_(2)SO_(4)solution with different pH values were investigated.The results indicate that the as-cast FeCoNiAl_(0.75)Cr_(1.25)HEA is mainly composed of face-centered cubic phase,body-centered cubic(BCC1)phase(Co–Cr–Fe)and ordered BCC(B2)phase(Ni–Al),in which BCC1 phase and B2 phase have a eutectic microstructure.Moreover,the corrosion of B2 phase occurs preferentially in a 0.05 mol/L SO_(4)^(2−)acidic solution.The electrochemical measurement results show that the corrosion resistance of the investigated HEA significantly changes as the solution pH increases from 2 to 2.5.This indicates that there is a critical pH in the range of 2–2.5 that affects the corrosion of HEA.In addition,the results of X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy prove that the surface film of FeCoNiAl_(0.75)Cr_(1.25)in SO_(4)^(2−)solution is formed with Al_(2)O_(3)and Cr_(2)O_(3)as the main components,and The content of Al2O3 and Cr_(2)O_(3)increases with increasing solution pH.

文摘Garnet-based all-solid-state lithium batteries(ASSLBs)were considered as the most promising energy storage device due to their high energy density and good safety.However,interface problems caused by impurities such as Li_(2)CO_(3) on the surface still hinder the practical application of garnet-based ASSLBs.Here,we use a simple ultrasonic spraying method to coat SiO_(2) on the Li_(6.4)La_(3)Zr_(1.4)Ta_(0.6)O_(12)(LLZTO)surface,and in-situ construct Li_(4)SiO_(4)/Li_(2) O/Li_(2)1 Si5 nano-multifunctional interlayer through the high-temperature conversion reaction of SiO_(2).Experiments and density functional theory(DFT)calculations demonstrate that the introduced Li_(4)SiO_(4)/Li_(2) O/Li_(2)1 Si_(5) nano-multifunctional interlayer at the LLZTO/Li interface can significantly improve the air stability and interface contact of LLZTO/Li.As a result,the interface impedance of Li/SiO_(2)@LLZTO/Li was reduced to 24.2Ωcm^(-2),and it can operate stably over 2400 and 1000 h at current densities of 0.05 and 0.2 mA cm^(−2),respectively.The full cell assembled with LiFePO_(4)(LFP)as cathode(Li/SiO_(2)@LLZTO/LFP)also exhibits excellent cycling performance(capacity retention rate of 95%after 50 cycles at 0.1 C)and rate performance(140 mAh g^(−1) at 0.1 C and 107 mAh g−1 at 1 C).This research provides a strategy to improve interface problems and achieve dendrite-free ASSLBs through in-situ transformation constructed nano-multifunctional interlayers.
文摘A total of fifty (50) samples of water from Lake Fitri (Chad), with 25 samples per island (Domoro and Maguite). The aim of this study was to analyze the bacteriological, biochemical and physico-chemical quality of the water in Lake Fitri in Chad. Standard microbiology methods were used. Isolated strains of enterobacteria were characterized by API 20E and API Staph galleries and confirmed by API Web. Antibiotic resistance was performed according to the recommendations of the antibiogram committee (CA-SFM, 2019). Physico-chemical analysis of the water was carried out by (Rodier, 2009). The microbiological results revealed an abundance on the Domoro islands (5.37.106 ± 1.5.105 and 1.97.105 ± 4.94.104), successively for total aerobic mesophilic flora (FMAT), and thermotolerant coliform (E. coli) and on the Maguite Islands (4.71.106 ± 7.14.105 and 2.32.105 ± 2.86.104), alternately for total aerobic mesophilic flora (FMAT), and thermotolerant coliform (E. coli). The results obtained after incubation of the biochemical tests using the API 20E and API Staph galleries and their proposed numerical profile analyzed using Api software and confirmed by Api Web confirmed the contamination of the waters of Lake Fitri by pathogenic strains of E. coli, Staphylococcus and Salmonella spp. The results of the antibiogram carried out show the emergence of certain resistances to Tobramycin, Flucytosine and Teicoplanin. The average levels of BOD5, COD, SS, Nitrate (NO3) and Nitrite (NO2) for Domoro Island were 32.14 ± 2.37 mg/L, 423.86 ± 4.78 mg/L, 65.42 ± 2.27 mg/L, 0.04 ± 0.01 mg/L and 3.32 ± 1.48 mg/L respectively. The water from the islands of Lake Fitri must therefore be rigorously treated before consumption.

文摘The first-ever synthesis of the unknown furo[2,3:4,5]pyrimido[1,2-b]indazole skeleton was demonstrated based on the undiscovered tetra-functionalization of enaminones,with simple substrates and reaction conditions.The key to realizing this process lies in the multiple trapping of the in situ generated ketenimine cation by the 3-aminoindazole,which results in the formation of four new chemical bonds and two new rings in one pot.Moreover,the products of this new reaction were found to exhibit aggregationinduced emission(AIE)without modification.
