The detection limit was 5.4 ng/ml (S/N=2), and the relative standard deviation of the quenching effect (6 replicates) was 4.6%. The results obtained by the proposed method were in good agreement with those obtained by the colorimetric assay. The advantages of the present method are its relatively simple detection procedure, the lack of toxic organic solvents, and high sensitivity.展开更多

The experimental results indicate that the charge distribution of the proteins are different in the reaction process. From the calculated molecular weight, the reduction process of the disulfide bond in the molecules can be described, and the number of the disulfide bonds in the molecule can also be determined.展开更多

The oxygen sensing film mechanism is based on the principle of fluorescence quenching of tris(4,7-diphenyl-l , 10-phenanthroline) ruthenium ( ) ([Ru(dpp)3]2+), which has been entrapped in a porous ORMOSIL film. In order to establish optimum film-processing parameters, comprehensive investigations, including the effects of the polarity and the hydrophobicity of the sensing film on oxygen quenching response and response time, were carried out. The film hydrophobicity increased as a function of dimethyl-dimethoxysilane (DiMe-DMOS) content, which is correlated with enhanced oxygen sensor performance. The sensor developed in the present work exhibits the advantages of fast response time and good reversibility. The detection limits are 0. 5 % and 0. 3 g/mL for O2 in the gaseous and the aqueous phases, respectively.展开更多

The sensing film with tris-(4,7-diphenyl-1,10-phenanthroline) ruthenium(II) as an indicator developed in this paper was characterized by efficient quenching by oxygen. Blue light-emitting diodes (λmax = 475 nm) were employed as light excitation source. The linear range of the dissolved oxygen was from 0.5 to 16 μg/mL. The measured RSD was 2%, the response time (t95) was 60 s, and the determination limit was 0.2 μg/mL. A portable and inexpensive luminescence-based sensor was established and applied to the determina-tion of dissolved oxygen in the surface water.展开更多

It was shown that dicofol could be completely degraded into inorganic chloride ion under the condition of 0.25 mg/mL TiO2-NPs, 2 h irradiation of 400 W high pressure mercury lamp with a wavelength of 365 nm and air at a rate of 100 mL/min. The effects of the experimental conditions, in-cluding the amount of TiO2-NPs, irradiation time and the intensity of light, were studied. The apparent photodegradation rate constant was 0.167/min under the optimal condition. The photocatalytic degra-dation mechanism of dicofol was also discussed.展开更多

In acidic aqueous environment, the sensing solution underwent a sharp color change from poor violet to deep blue when titrated with Na2SO3 standard solution. But the color changed from poor violet to bright yellow when titrated with Na2S standard solution. In basic environment, the sensing solution rapidly changed to magenta when titrated by NH4Cl-NH3 standard buffer solution at high concentration. However, the color of sensing solution changed to blue when titrated by NH4Cl-NH3 standard buffer solution at low concentration although the pH was kept constant during the titration. Different species of these hazardous gases at environmentally relevant concentration levels were differentiated by independent optical signal outputs, and the interference from other inorganic ions commonly existing in water was very small.展开更多
