The current research of Charpy impact mainly focuses on obtaining the ductile brittle transition temperature of materials by experiments.Compared with experiments,numerical simulation can study many problems with hars...The current research of Charpy impact mainly focuses on obtaining the ductile brittle transition temperature of materials by experiments.Compared with experiments,numerical simulation can study many problems with harsh conditions.However,there are still few studies on the influence of geometric factors such as side grooves.In this paper,the geometry of standard Charpy impact test is designed.Specimens with different widths and side grooves are tested.The finite element model of Charpy impact was established by ABAQUS software.Use test results and simulation results to verify each other.The effects of sample width,side groove depth and side groove bottom fillet on the impact fracture resistance of the sample were studied.The results show that the specimen width is positively correlated with the impact toughness of the specimen.The side groove greatly reduces the impact toughness of the material;the toughness of side groove decreases with the increase of depth;the fracture toughness of side groove decreases with the increase of fillet at the bottom of side groove.The proportion of toughness energy to impact energy of samples was analyzed.The results show that the toughness energy accounts for about 70%of the impact energy of the sample,which has little to do with the geometric characteristics of the sample.This study presents a reliable method for studying Charpy impact tests.The influence of geometric parameters is obtained,which provides a reference method for the study of impact toughness of high toughness materials.展开更多

Intracranial aneurysm(IA)is a prevalent cerebrovascular disease associated with high mortality and disability rates upon rupture.The hemodynamics of IA,which are significantly influenced by geometric parameters,direct...Intracranial aneurysm(IA)is a prevalent cerebrovascular disease associated with high mortality and disability rates upon rupture.The hemodynamics of IA,which are significantly influenced by geometric parameters,directly impact its rupture.This study focuses on investigating the transient flow characteristics in saccular IA models fabricated using a water droplet-based method,specifically examining the influence of neck widths.Particle image velocimetry technique and numerical simulation were employed to investigate the dynamic evolution of flow structures within three IA models.The results reveal that neck width(W)has a substantial effect on flow characteristics in the neck region,subsequently impacting the deep flow inside the sac.Three distinct patterns were observed during flow evolution inside the sac:for W=2 mm,two vortices occur and then disappear with relatively low average flow velocity;for W=4 mm,enhanced effects of a high-speed jet result in periodic pulsatile flow velocity distribution while maintaining stable vortex core position;for W=6 mm,significant changes in flow velocity occur due to size expansion and intensity increase of vortices.These findings demonstrate that neck widths play a complex role in influencing transient flow characteristics within IAs.Overall,this research contributes to further understanding transient flow behaviors in IAs.展开更多
The abundant muscle tissues of the forearm determine the movements of the wrist,hand and fingers together.However,linking wrist kinematics and forearm muscle activation is still a challenging.There may exist blindness...The abundant muscle tissues of the forearm determine the movements of the wrist,hand and fingers together.However,linking wrist kinematics and forearm muscle activation is still a challenging.There may exist blindness in the rehabilitation therapy of forearm muscles,due to the lack of the physiological characteristics of muscle activation and sequences.An armband with eight channels was used to collect surface electromyographic signals(sEMGs)of a specific section of the forearm under the different wrist movements,palm postures,and external loads,based on the image of magnetic resonance imaging(MRI).The collected cross-sectional muscles covered almost all surface muscles.The muscle activation could be expressed clearly by enveloping the sEMG signals of 8 muscles within a single cycle.The root mean square(RMS)and the average peak value V_(P) were used to evaluate the activation intensities of dominant muscles.The activation sequences and the absolute times of dominant muscles were obtained from the envelopes of their raw sEMGs,and not influenced by the palm postures and external loads.In addition,their RMS and V_(P) under each wrist movement increased approximate linearly with external loads.The corresponding contribution ratios were first calculated to evaluate the role played by each muscle.The well-defined data of forearm muscles could provide standard references for the rehabilitation therapy of forearm muscles.展开更多
Stroke survivors often face significant challenges when performing daily self-care activities due to upper limb motor impairments.Traditional surface electromyography(sEMG)analysis typically focuses on isolated hand p...Stroke survivors often face significant challenges when performing daily self-care activities due to upper limb motor impairments.Traditional surface electromyography(sEMG)analysis typically focuses on isolated hand postures,overlooking the complexity of object-interactive behaviors that are crucial for promoting patient independence.This study introduces a novel framework that combines high-density sEMG(HD-sEMG)signals with an improved Whale Optimization Algorithm(IWOA)-optimized Long Short-Term Memory(LSTM)network to address this limitation.The key contributions of this work include:(1)the creation of a specialized HD-sEMG dataset that captures nine continuous self-care behaviors,along with time and posture markers,to better reflect real-world patient interactions;(2)the development of a multi-channel feature fusion module based on Pascal’s theorem,which enables efficient signal segmentation and spatial–temporal feature extraction;and(3)the enhancement of the IWOA algorithm,which integrates optimal point set initialization,a diversity-driven pooling mechanism,and cosine-based differential evolution to optimize LSTM hyperparameters,thereby improving convergence and global search capabilities.Experimental results demonstrate superior performance,achieving 99.58%accuracy in self-care behavior recognition and 86.19%accuracy for 17 continuous gestures on the Ninapro db2 benchmark.The framework operates with low latency,meeting the real-time requirements for assistive devices.By enabling precise,context-aware recognition of daily activities,this work advances personalized rehabilitation technologies,empowering stroke patients to regain autonomy in self-care tasks.The proposed methodology offers a robust,scalable solution for clinical applications,bridging the gap between laboratory-based gesture recognition and practical,patient-centered care.展开更多
Hydrodynamic cavitation,as an efficient technique applied in many physical and chemical treatment methods,has been widely used by various industries and in several technological fields.Relevant generators,designed wit...Hydrodynamic cavitation,as an efficient technique applied in many physical and chemical treatment methods,has been widely used by various industries and in several technological fields.Relevant generators,designed with specific structures and parameters,can produce cavitation effects,thereby enabling effective treatment and reasonable transformation of substances.This paper reviews the design principles,performance,and practical applications associated with different types of cavitation generators,aiming to provide theoretical support for the optimization of these systems.It systematically analyzes the underpinning mechanisms and the various factors influencing the cavitation phenomena,also conducting a comparative analysis of the performance of different types of generators.Specific applications dealing with wastewater treatment,chemical reaction acceleration,and other fields are discussed together with the advantages,disadvantages,and applicability of each type of cavitation generator.We also explore research progress in areas such as cavitation stability,energy efficiency,and equipment design upgrades.The study concludes by forecasting the application prospects of intelligent design and computational fluid dynamics(CFD)in optimizing and advancing cavitation generators.It proposes new ideas for the further development of cavitation technology and highlights directions for its widespread future application.展开更多
TiC/Ti_(2)AlC core-shell structure reinforced Ti-based composite coating was prepared by laser cladding technology.The effect of Ti_(2)AlC content on the microstructure and mechanical behavior of the coating was studi...TiC/Ti_(2)AlC core-shell structure reinforced Ti-based composite coating was prepared by laser cladding technology.The effect of Ti_(2)AlC content on the microstructure and mechanical behavior of the coating was studied.The results showed that the reinforced phase was mainly TiC/Ti_(2)AlC MAX phase core-shell structure at 20%Ti_(2)AlC content.According to the synthesis mechanism,Ti_(2)AlC nucleated on TiC through the diffusion of Al atoms to further generate the core-shell structure.The friction and wear test results showed that the wear resistance of the coating was significantly improved under the load distribution effect of the core-shell structure.The friction coefficient decreased to 0.342,and the wear rate reached 8.19×10^(−5)mm^(3)/(N·m),which was only 47.07%of TC4 substrate.展开更多
Ultrasonic cavitation modification(UCM)employs cavitation effect to induce strong plastic deformation on the material surface and improve surface properties.To explore the surface strengthening and grain refinement of...Ultrasonic cavitation modification(UCM)employs cavitation effect to induce strong plastic deformation on the material surface and improve surface properties.To explore the surface strengthening and grain refinement of materials by UCM,the UCM orthogonal experiments of AZ31 B magnesium alloy were carried out in water and kerosene,respectively.The effects of ultrasonic amplitude,distance from the sample,and processing time on Vickers hardness and grain size of the material were studied.The results showed that the Vickers hardness of samples increased to1.5–3 times after UCM in water,which was 23.77–48.19%higher than that in kerosene.The metallographic observation indicated the grains on the surface of AZ31 B were refined after UCM.The maximum fluctuation of grain size on the material surface was not more than 10 lm after UCM in water,and most of them were concentrated between 1.5 lm and 2.5 lm,while the former was more than 40 lm and the latter were concentrated between 2 lm and 10 lm in kerosene.This reflected that the grain refinement effect of UCM in water was better than that in kerosene.Ultrasonic cavitation can be used as a benign means to improve the surface properties of materials.展开更多

The energy-transfer mechanism makes t...Stochastic resonance(SR) enhances the nonlinear system behavior with the assistance of noise, including the sensitivity and selectivity of the response to the exterior stimulus. The energy-transfer mechanism makes the weak information revealed in the output spectrum, while the time-waveform is distorted. The distortion analysis was made both from the particle's dynan-fics and signal processing. The factors causing the deviation in the output are presented and the function of the recovery system is proposed. By the investigation of the particle's motion track in the bistable system and the suggested recovery system, the influences of noise and system parameters on the recovery course were discussed. Moreover, the pulse distortion appearing the recovery waveform caused by the particle's transitions at the bistable potential' inflexions was explained. Due to different characteristics, cascaded-bistable SR or mono-stable SR was introduced to process different types of signals. The final recovery signal is just the suggested recovery system's response to the SR output. Meanwhile, the recovery system is optional, as parameter-tuned or parameter-fixed. Since the method requires no average processing, it is applicable to a single sample with limited length. The numerical simulations reveal that the SR recovery method can recover the waveform containing weak information submerged ha noise effectively. The engineering application to the vibration analysis of metal cutting chose the combination of mono-stable SR and the parameter-fixed recovery system. Because the optimal SR state is not required strongly, the system parameters are tuned in a wider range than the traditional SR processing methods.展开更多
Because of the complex constraint effects among layers in multi-layered metallic bellows hydroforming,the stress concentration and defects such as wrinkling and fracture may easily occur.It is a key to reveal the defo...Because of the complex constraint effects among layers in multi-layered metallic bellows hydroforming,the stress concentration and defects such as wrinkling and fracture may easily occur.It is a key to reveal the deformation behaviors in order to obtain a sound product.Based on the ABAQUS platform,a 3 D-FE model of the four-layered U-shaped metallic bellow hydroforming process is established and validated by experiment.The stress and strain distributions,wall thickness variations and bellow profiles of each layer in the whole process,including bulging,folding and springback stages,are studied.Then deformation behaviors of bellows under different forming conditions are discussed.It is found that the wall thinning degrees of different layer vary after hydroforming,and is the largest for the inner layer and smallest for the outer layer.At folding stage,the wall thinning degree of the crown point increases lineally,and the difference among layers increases as the process going.The displacements of the crown point decrease from the inner layer to the outer layer.After springback,the U-shaped cross section changes to a tongue shape,the change of convolution pitch is much larger than the change of convolution height,and the springback values of the inner layer are smaller than the outer layer.An increase in the internal pressure and die spacing cause the maximum wall thinning degree and springback increase.With changing of process parameters,bellows with deep convolution are easily encountered wall thinning during hydroforming and convolution distortion after springback.This research is helpful for precision forming of multi-layered bellows.展开更多

Al-containing coatings were prepared on AZ31 magnesium alloy by pack-cementation technology.X-ray diffraction(XRD),backscattered electron imaging(BSEI)and energy dispersive spectroscopy(EDS)were jointly employed to ch...Al-containing coatings were prepared on AZ31 magnesium alloy by pack-cementation technology.X-ray diffraction(XRD),backscattered electron imaging(BSEI)and energy dispersive spectroscopy(EDS)were jointly employed to characterize the phases,microstructure and composition of the coated samples.The results show that the feedstock composition has a significant impact on the phases,microstructure and thickness of the coatings.For the sample with AlCl3 powder as the activator,the coating is very thick and composed of gradient phases and structures from surface to inside,including small amount ofb-Mg2Al3,coarse eutectic-like structure ofγ-Mg17Al12+δ-Mg,and fineγ-Mg17Al12 precipitations.In contrast,for the sample with AlCl3 and pure Al composite powders as the activator,the coating is relatively thin and contains a thin Al2O3 layer and a small amount of fineγ-Mg17Al12 precipitates.For the pack-cementation aluminizing that is not protected by high-vacuum or inert gas,the addition of pure Al powders can easily introduce the Al2O3 layer into the coating to prevent active Al ions further penetrating into the magnesium matrix,resulting in the thin Al-containing coating.The microhardness and corrosion behavior of the two kinds of aluminized coatings were also studied and discussed.展开更多
For efficient use of value stream mapping(VSM)for multi-varieties and small batch production in a data-rich environment enabled by Industry 4.0 technologies,a systematic framework of VSM to rejuvenate traditional lean...For efficient use of value stream mapping(VSM)for multi-varieties and small batch production in a data-rich environment enabled by Industry 4.0 technologies,a systematic framework of VSM to rejuvenate traditional lean tools is proposed.It addresses the issue that traditional VSM requires intensive on-site investigation and replies on experience,which hinders decisionmaking efficiency in dynamic and complex environments.The proposed framework follows the data-information-knowledge hierarchy model,and demonstrates how data can be collected in a production workshop,processed into information,and then interpreted into knowledge.In this paper,the necessity and limitations of VSM in automated root cause analysis are first discussed,with a literature review on lean production tools,especially VSM and VSM-based decision making in Industry 4.0.An implementation case of a furniture manufacturer in China is presented,where decision tree algorithm was used for automated root cause analysis.The results indicate that automated VSM can make good use of production data to cater for multi-varieties and small batch production with timely on-site waste identification and analysis.The proposed framework is also suggested as a guideline to renew other lean tools for reliable and efficient decision-making.展开更多
Aiming at determining the thermal contact resistance of ball screws,a new analytical method combining the minimum excess principle with the MB fractal theory is proposed to estimate thermal contact resistance of ball ...Aiming at determining the thermal contact resistance of ball screws,a new analytical method combining the minimum excess principle with the MB fractal theory is proposed to estimate thermal contact resistance of ball screws considering microscopic fractal characteristics of contact surfaces.The minimum excess principle is employed for normal stress analysis.Moreover,the MB fractal theory is adopted for thermal contact resistance.The effectiveness of the proposed method is validated by self-designed experiment.The comparison between theoretical and experimental results demonstrates that thermal contact resistance of ball screws can be obtained by the proposed method.On this basis,effects of fractal parameters on thermal contact resistance of ball screws are discussed.Moreover,effects of the axial load on thermal contact resistance of ball screws are also analyzed.The conclusion can be drawn that the thermal contact resistance decreases along with the fractal dimension D increase and it increases along with the scale parameter G increase,and thermal contact resistance of ball screws is retained almost constant along with axial load increase before the preload of the right nut turns into zero in value.The application of the proposed method is also conducted and validated by the temperature measurement on a self-designed test bed.展开更多
A process parameter optimization method for mold wear during die forging process is proposed and a mold life prediction method based on polynomial fitting is presented,by combining the variance analysis method in the ...A process parameter optimization method for mold wear during die forging process is proposed and a mold life prediction method based on polynomial fitting is presented,by combining the variance analysis method in the orthogonal test with the finite element simulation test in the forging process.The process parameters with the greatest influence on the mold wear during the die forging process and the optimal solution of the process parameters to minimize the wear depth of the mold are derived.The hot die forging process is taken as an example,and a mold wear correction model for hot forging processes is derived based on the Archard wear model.Finite element simulation analysis of die wear process in hot die forging based on deform software is performed to study the relationship between the wear depth of the mold working surface and the die forging process parameters during hot forging process.The optimized process parameters suitable for hot forging are derived by orthogonal experimental design and analysis of variance.The average wear amount of the mold during the die forging process is derived by calculating the wear depth of a plurality of key nodes on the mold surface.Mold life for the entire production process is predicted based on average mold wear depth and polynomial fitting.展开更多

While the rechargeable aqueous zinc-ion batteries(AZIBs)have been recognized as one of the most viable batteries for scale-up application,the instability on Zn anode–electrolyte interface bottleneck the further devel...While the rechargeable aqueous zinc-ion batteries(AZIBs)have been recognized as one of the most viable batteries for scale-up application,the instability on Zn anode–electrolyte interface bottleneck the further development dramatically.Herein,we utilize the amino acid glycine(Gly)as an electrolyte additive to stabilize the Zn anode–electrolyte interface.The unique interfacial chemistry is facilitated by the synergistic“anchor-capture”effect of polar groups in Gly molecule,manifested by simultaneously coupling the amino to anchor on the surface of Zn anode and the carboxyl to capture Zn^(2+)in the local region.As such,this robust anode–electrolyte interface inhibits the disordered migration of Zn^(2+),and effectively suppresses both side reactions and dendrite growth.The reversibility of Zn anode achieves a significant improvement with an average Coulombic efficiency of 99.22%at 1 mA cm^(−2)and 0.5 mAh cm^(−2)over 500 cycles.Even at a high Zn utilization rate(depth of discharge,DODZn)of 68%,a steady cycle life up to 200 h is obtained for ultrathin Zn foils(20μm).The superior rate capability and long-term cycle stability of Zn–MnO_(2)full cells further prove the effectiveness of Gly in stabilizing Zn anode.This work sheds light on additive designing from the specific roles of polar groups for AZIBs.展开更多
The recirculating planetary roller screw mechanism(RPRSM)is a transmission mechanism that engages the screw and nut threaded by multiple grooved rollers.In this paper,frstly,the design method of RPRSM nut threadless a...The recirculating planetary roller screw mechanism(RPRSM)is a transmission mechanism that engages the screw and nut threaded by multiple grooved rollers.In this paper,frstly,the design method of RPRSM nut threadless area is proposed,and the equations related to the structural parameters of nut threadless area are derived.On this basis,the cross-section design method of roller,screw and nut is constructed according to the actual situation of engagements between the screw/nut and the roller.By adjusting the gap between the two beveled edges and that between the arc and the beveled edge,the accuracy of the thread engagements between the screw/nut and the roller can be improved.Secondly,to ensure the engagements of the screw/nut and the roller,the distance equation from the center surface of the diferent rollers to the end surface of cam ring is given.Thirdly,combined with the working principle and structural composition of RPRSM,the component model is established according to its relevant structural parameters,and the virtual assembly is completed.Finally,the 3D model is imported into the ADAMS simulation software for multi-rigid body dynamics.The dynamic characteristic is analyzed,and the simulated values are compared with the theoretical values.The results show that the contact forces between the screw/nut and the roller are sinusoidal,mainly due to the existence of a small gap between the roller and the carrier.The maximum collision forces between the roller and cam ring are independent from load magnitude.Normally,the collision force between the roller and the carrier increases as the load increases.When RPRSM is in the transmission process,the roller angular speed in nut threadless area begins to appear abruptly,and the position of the maximum change is at the contact between the roller and the convex platform of cam ring.The design of the nut threadless area and the proposed virtual assembly method can provide a theoretical guidance for RPRSM research,as well as a reference for overall performance optimization.展开更多

The high speed flowing of nitrogen gas speeds up the chips leaving, and prevents the chips from burning at the same time. By this method the cutting force is reduced. Especially, the temperature increment of the finished surface is smaller than 5 ℃. This prevents the increase of hardness, improves the roughness of the finished surface, and reduces the tools wear. Comparing and analyzing the morphology and color of chips, which are obtained from the high-speed machining of Ti-6Al-4V with and without nitrogen gas ejection, show the action mechanism of nitrogen gas during the high-speed machining of titanium alloy, and it is concluded that nitrogen gas can be used to realize the proper high-speed milling of Ti-6Al-4V titanium alloy.展开更多

文摘The current research of Charpy impact mainly focuses on obtaining the ductile brittle transition temperature of materials by experiments.Compared with experiments,numerical simulation can study many problems with harsh conditions.However,there are still few studies on the influence of geometric factors such as side grooves.In this paper,the geometry of standard Charpy impact test is designed.Specimens with different widths and side grooves are tested.The finite element model of Charpy impact was established by ABAQUS software.Use test results and simulation results to verify each other.The effects of sample width,side groove depth and side groove bottom fillet on the impact fracture resistance of the sample were studied.The results show that the specimen width is positively correlated with the impact toughness of the specimen.The side groove greatly reduces the impact toughness of the material;the toughness of side groove decreases with the increase of depth;the fracture toughness of side groove decreases with the increase of fillet at the bottom of side groove.The proportion of toughness energy to impact energy of samples was analyzed.The results show that the toughness energy accounts for about 70%of the impact energy of the sample,which has little to do with the geometric characteristics of the sample.This study presents a reliable method for studying Charpy impact tests.The influence of geometric parameters is obtained,which provides a reference method for the study of impact toughness of high toughness materials.

文摘1Introduction To date,in model-based gait-planning methods,the dynamics of the center of mass(COM)of bipedal robots have been analyzed by establishing their linear inverted pendulum model(LIPM)or extended forms(Owaki et al.,2010;Englsberger et al.,2015;Xie et al.,2020).With regard to model-based gait-generation methods for uphill and downhill terrain,Kuo(2007)simulated human gait using an inverted pendulum,which provided a circular trajectory for the COM rather than a horizontal trajectory.He found that a horizontal COM trajectory consumed more muscle energy.Massah et al.(2012)utilized a 3D LIPM and the concept of zero moment point(ZMP).They developed a trajectory planner using the semi-elliptical motion equations of an NAO humanoid robot and simulated walking on various sloped terrains using the Webots platform.

文摘Intracranial aneurysm(IA)is a prevalent cerebrovascular disease associated with high mortality and disability rates upon rupture.The hemodynamics of IA,which are significantly influenced by geometric parameters,directly impact its rupture.This study focuses on investigating the transient flow characteristics in saccular IA models fabricated using a water droplet-based method,specifically examining the influence of neck widths.Particle image velocimetry technique and numerical simulation were employed to investigate the dynamic evolution of flow structures within three IA models.The results reveal that neck width(W)has a substantial effect on flow characteristics in the neck region,subsequently impacting the deep flow inside the sac.Three distinct patterns were observed during flow evolution inside the sac:for W=2 mm,two vortices occur and then disappear with relatively low average flow velocity;for W=4 mm,enhanced effects of a high-speed jet result in periodic pulsatile flow velocity distribution while maintaining stable vortex core position;for W=6 mm,significant changes in flow velocity occur due to size expansion and intensity increase of vortices.These findings demonstrate that neck widths play a complex role in influencing transient flow characteristics within IAs.Overall,this research contributes to further understanding transient flow behaviors in IAs.

文摘The abundant muscle tissues of the forearm determine the movements of the wrist,hand and fingers together.However,linking wrist kinematics and forearm muscle activation is still a challenging.There may exist blindness in the rehabilitation therapy of forearm muscles,due to the lack of the physiological characteristics of muscle activation and sequences.An armband with eight channels was used to collect surface electromyographic signals(sEMGs)of a specific section of the forearm under the different wrist movements,palm postures,and external loads,based on the image of magnetic resonance imaging(MRI).The collected cross-sectional muscles covered almost all surface muscles.The muscle activation could be expressed clearly by enveloping the sEMG signals of 8 muscles within a single cycle.The root mean square(RMS)and the average peak value V_(P) were used to evaluate the activation intensities of dominant muscles.The activation sequences and the absolute times of dominant muscles were obtained from the envelopes of their raw sEMGs,and not influenced by the palm postures and external loads.In addition,their RMS and V_(P) under each wrist movement increased approximate linearly with external loads.The corresponding contribution ratios were first calculated to evaluate the role played by each muscle.The well-defined data of forearm muscles could provide standard references for the rehabilitation therapy of forearm muscles.

文摘Stroke survivors often face significant challenges when performing daily self-care activities due to upper limb motor impairments.Traditional surface electromyography(sEMG)analysis typically focuses on isolated hand postures,overlooking the complexity of object-interactive behaviors that are crucial for promoting patient independence.This study introduces a novel framework that combines high-density sEMG(HD-sEMG)signals with an improved Whale Optimization Algorithm(IWOA)-optimized Long Short-Term Memory(LSTM)network to address this limitation.The key contributions of this work include:(1)the creation of a specialized HD-sEMG dataset that captures nine continuous self-care behaviors,along with time and posture markers,to better reflect real-world patient interactions;(2)the development of a multi-channel feature fusion module based on Pascal’s theorem,which enables efficient signal segmentation and spatial–temporal feature extraction;and(3)the enhancement of the IWOA algorithm,which integrates optimal point set initialization,a diversity-driven pooling mechanism,and cosine-based differential evolution to optimize LSTM hyperparameters,thereby improving convergence and global search capabilities.Experimental results demonstrate superior performance,achieving 99.58%accuracy in self-care behavior recognition and 86.19%accuracy for 17 continuous gestures on the Ninapro db2 benchmark.The framework operates with low latency,meeting the real-time requirements for assistive devices.By enabling precise,context-aware recognition of daily activities,this work advances personalized rehabilitation technologies,empowering stroke patients to regain autonomy in self-care tasks.The proposed methodology offers a robust,scalable solution for clinical applications,bridging the gap between laboratory-based gesture recognition and practical,patient-centered care.
文摘Hydrodynamic cavitation,as an efficient technique applied in many physical and chemical treatment methods,has been widely used by various industries and in several technological fields.Relevant generators,designed with specific structures and parameters,can produce cavitation effects,thereby enabling effective treatment and reasonable transformation of substances.This paper reviews the design principles,performance,and practical applications associated with different types of cavitation generators,aiming to provide theoretical support for the optimization of these systems.It systematically analyzes the underpinning mechanisms and the various factors influencing the cavitation phenomena,also conducting a comparative analysis of the performance of different types of generators.Specific applications dealing with wastewater treatment,chemical reaction acceleration,and other fields are discussed together with the advantages,disadvantages,and applicability of each type of cavitation generator.We also explore research progress in areas such as cavitation stability,energy efficiency,and equipment design upgrades.The study concludes by forecasting the application prospects of intelligent design and computational fluid dynamics(CFD)in optimizing and advancing cavitation generators.It proposes new ideas for the further development of cavitation technology and highlights directions for its widespread future application.

文摘TiC/Ti_(2)AlC core-shell structure reinforced Ti-based composite coating was prepared by laser cladding technology.The effect of Ti_(2)AlC content on the microstructure and mechanical behavior of the coating was studied.The results showed that the reinforced phase was mainly TiC/Ti_(2)AlC MAX phase core-shell structure at 20%Ti_(2)AlC content.According to the synthesis mechanism,Ti_(2)AlC nucleated on TiC through the diffusion of Al atoms to further generate the core-shell structure.The friction and wear test results showed that the wear resistance of the coating was significantly improved under the load distribution effect of the core-shell structure.The friction coefficient decreased to 0.342,and the wear rate reached 8.19×10^(−5)mm^(3)/(N·m),which was only 47.07%of TC4 substrate.

文摘Ultrasonic cavitation modification(UCM)employs cavitation effect to induce strong plastic deformation on the material surface and improve surface properties.To explore the surface strengthening and grain refinement of materials by UCM,the UCM orthogonal experiments of AZ31 B magnesium alloy were carried out in water and kerosene,respectively.The effects of ultrasonic amplitude,distance from the sample,and processing time on Vickers hardness and grain size of the material were studied.The results showed that the Vickers hardness of samples increased to1.5–3 times after UCM in water,which was 23.77–48.19%higher than that in kerosene.The metallographic observation indicated the grains on the surface of AZ31 B were refined after UCM.The maximum fluctuation of grain size on the material surface was not more than 10 lm after UCM in water,and most of them were concentrated between 1.5 lm and 2.5 lm,while the former was more than 40 lm and the latter were concentrated between 2 lm and 10 lm in kerosene.This reflected that the grain refinement effect of UCM in water was better than that in kerosene.Ultrasonic cavitation can be used as a benign means to improve the surface properties of materials.

文摘Stochastic resonance(SR) enhances the nonlinear system behavior with the assistance of noise, including the sensitivity and selectivity of the response to the exterior stimulus. The energy-transfer mechanism makes the weak information revealed in the output spectrum, while the time-waveform is distorted. The distortion analysis was made both from the particle's dynan-fics and signal processing. The factors causing the deviation in the output are presented and the function of the recovery system is proposed. By the investigation of the particle's motion track in the bistable system and the suggested recovery system, the influences of noise and system parameters on the recovery course were discussed. Moreover, the pulse distortion appearing the recovery waveform caused by the particle's transitions at the bistable potential' inflexions was explained. Due to different characteristics, cascaded-bistable SR or mono-stable SR was introduced to process different types of signals. The final recovery signal is just the suggested recovery system's response to the SR output. Meanwhile, the recovery system is optional, as parameter-tuned or parameter-fixed. Since the method requires no average processing, it is applicable to a single sample with limited length. The numerical simulations reveal that the SR recovery method can recover the waveform containing weak information submerged ha noise effectively. The engineering application to the vibration analysis of metal cutting chose the combination of mono-stable SR and the parameter-fixed recovery system. Because the optimal SR state is not required strongly, the system parameters are tuned in a wider range than the traditional SR processing methods.

文摘Because of the complex constraint effects among layers in multi-layered metallic bellows hydroforming,the stress concentration and defects such as wrinkling and fracture may easily occur.It is a key to reveal the deformation behaviors in order to obtain a sound product.Based on the ABAQUS platform,a 3 D-FE model of the four-layered U-shaped metallic bellow hydroforming process is established and validated by experiment.The stress and strain distributions,wall thickness variations and bellow profiles of each layer in the whole process,including bulging,folding and springback stages,are studied.Then deformation behaviors of bellows under different forming conditions are discussed.It is found that the wall thinning degrees of different layer vary after hydroforming,and is the largest for the inner layer and smallest for the outer layer.At folding stage,the wall thinning degree of the crown point increases lineally,and the difference among layers increases as the process going.The displacements of the crown point decrease from the inner layer to the outer layer.After springback,the U-shaped cross section changes to a tongue shape,the change of convolution pitch is much larger than the change of convolution height,and the springback values of the inner layer are smaller than the outer layer.An increase in the internal pressure and die spacing cause the maximum wall thinning degree and springback increase.With changing of process parameters,bellows with deep convolution are easily encountered wall thinning during hydroforming and convolution distortion after springback.This research is helpful for precision forming of multi-layered bellows.

文摘Automotive collision avoidance technology can effectively avoid the accidents caused by dangerous traffic conditions or driver's manipulation errors.Moreover,it can promote the development of autonomous driving for intelligent vehicle in intelligent transportation.We present a collision avoidance system,which is composed of an evasive trajectory planner and a path following controller.Considering the stability of the vehicle in the conflict-free process,the evasive trajectory planner is designed by polynomial parametric method and optimized by genetic algorithm.The path following controller is proposed to make the car drive along the designed path by controlling the vehicle's lateral movement.Simulation results show that the vehicle with the proposed controller has good stability in the collision process,and it can ensure the vehicle driving in accordance with the planned trajectory at different speeds.The research results can provide a certain basis for the research and development of automotive collision avoidance technology.

文摘Al-containing coatings were prepared on AZ31 magnesium alloy by pack-cementation technology.X-ray diffraction(XRD),backscattered electron imaging(BSEI)and energy dispersive spectroscopy(EDS)were jointly employed to characterize the phases,microstructure and composition of the coated samples.The results show that the feedstock composition has a significant impact on the phases,microstructure and thickness of the coatings.For the sample with AlCl3 powder as the activator,the coating is very thick and composed of gradient phases and structures from surface to inside,including small amount ofb-Mg2Al3,coarse eutectic-like structure ofγ-Mg17Al12+δ-Mg,and fineγ-Mg17Al12 precipitations.In contrast,for the sample with AlCl3 and pure Al composite powders as the activator,the coating is relatively thin and contains a thin Al2O3 layer and a small amount of fineγ-Mg17Al12 precipitates.For the pack-cementation aluminizing that is not protected by high-vacuum or inert gas,the addition of pure Al powders can easily introduce the Al2O3 layer into the coating to prevent active Al ions further penetrating into the magnesium matrix,resulting in the thin Al-containing coating.The microhardness and corrosion behavior of the two kinds of aluminized coatings were also studied and discussed.

文摘For efficient use of value stream mapping(VSM)for multi-varieties and small batch production in a data-rich environment enabled by Industry 4.0 technologies,a systematic framework of VSM to rejuvenate traditional lean tools is proposed.It addresses the issue that traditional VSM requires intensive on-site investigation and replies on experience,which hinders decisionmaking efficiency in dynamic and complex environments.The proposed framework follows the data-information-knowledge hierarchy model,and demonstrates how data can be collected in a production workshop,processed into information,and then interpreted into knowledge.In this paper,the necessity and limitations of VSM in automated root cause analysis are first discussed,with a literature review on lean production tools,especially VSM and VSM-based decision making in Industry 4.0.An implementation case of a furniture manufacturer in China is presented,where decision tree algorithm was used for automated root cause analysis.The results indicate that automated VSM can make good use of production data to cater for multi-varieties and small batch production with timely on-site waste identification and analysis.The proposed framework is also suggested as a guideline to renew other lean tools for reliable and efficient decision-making.

文摘Aiming at determining the thermal contact resistance of ball screws,a new analytical method combining the minimum excess principle with the MB fractal theory is proposed to estimate thermal contact resistance of ball screws considering microscopic fractal characteristics of contact surfaces.The minimum excess principle is employed for normal stress analysis.Moreover,the MB fractal theory is adopted for thermal contact resistance.The effectiveness of the proposed method is validated by self-designed experiment.The comparison between theoretical and experimental results demonstrates that thermal contact resistance of ball screws can be obtained by the proposed method.On this basis,effects of fractal parameters on thermal contact resistance of ball screws are discussed.Moreover,effects of the axial load on thermal contact resistance of ball screws are also analyzed.The conclusion can be drawn that the thermal contact resistance decreases along with the fractal dimension D increase and it increases along with the scale parameter G increase,and thermal contact resistance of ball screws is retained almost constant along with axial load increase before the preload of the right nut turns into zero in value.The application of the proposed method is also conducted and validated by the temperature measurement on a self-designed test bed.

文摘A process parameter optimization method for mold wear during die forging process is proposed and a mold life prediction method based on polynomial fitting is presented,by combining the variance analysis method in the orthogonal test with the finite element simulation test in the forging process.The process parameters with the greatest influence on the mold wear during the die forging process and the optimal solution of the process parameters to minimize the wear depth of the mold are derived.The hot die forging process is taken as an example,and a mold wear correction model for hot forging processes is derived based on the Archard wear model.Finite element simulation analysis of die wear process in hot die forging based on deform software is performed to study the relationship between the wear depth of the mold working surface and the die forging process parameters during hot forging process.The optimized process parameters suitable for hot forging are derived by orthogonal experimental design and analysis of variance.The average wear amount of the mold during the die forging process is derived by calculating the wear depth of a plurality of key nodes on the mold surface.Mold life for the entire production process is predicted based on average mold wear depth and polynomial fitting.

文摘Discrete manufacturing workshops are confronted with problems of processing diverse products and strict real time requirements for data service calculation and manufacturing equipment,which makes it difficult to provide real time feedback and compensation.In this study,a high-availability,high-performance,and high-concurrency digital twin reference model was constructed to satisfy a large number of manufacturing requirements.A multiterminal real-time interaction model and information aging classification rules for virtual and physical models were established.Moreover,a multiterminal virtual interaction model was proposed,and a generalized distributed computing service digital twinning system was developed.This digital twin system was considered a machine tool box processing line as an actual case.Consequently,a full closed-loop manufacturing process digital twin platform for physical request service,real-time response,and quality information feedback from iterations,which provides case guidance for subsequent factory digital twin systems,was realized.The proposed system can satisfy the requirements of multidevice big data computing services in modern manufacturing plants,as well as multiplatform,low-latency,and high-fidelity information visualization requirements for managers.Thus,this system is expected to play an important role in information factories.

文摘While the rechargeable aqueous zinc-ion batteries(AZIBs)have been recognized as one of the most viable batteries for scale-up application,the instability on Zn anode–electrolyte interface bottleneck the further development dramatically.Herein,we utilize the amino acid glycine(Gly)as an electrolyte additive to stabilize the Zn anode–electrolyte interface.The unique interfacial chemistry is facilitated by the synergistic“anchor-capture”effect of polar groups in Gly molecule,manifested by simultaneously coupling the amino to anchor on the surface of Zn anode and the carboxyl to capture Zn^(2+)in the local region.As such,this robust anode–electrolyte interface inhibits the disordered migration of Zn^(2+),and effectively suppresses both side reactions and dendrite growth.The reversibility of Zn anode achieves a significant improvement with an average Coulombic efficiency of 99.22%at 1 mA cm^(−2)and 0.5 mAh cm^(−2)over 500 cycles.Even at a high Zn utilization rate(depth of discharge,DODZn)of 68%,a steady cycle life up to 200 h is obtained for ultrathin Zn foils(20μm).The superior rate capability and long-term cycle stability of Zn–MnO_(2)full cells further prove the effectiveness of Gly in stabilizing Zn anode.This work sheds light on additive designing from the specific roles of polar groups for AZIBs.

文摘The recirculating planetary roller screw mechanism(RPRSM)is a transmission mechanism that engages the screw and nut threaded by multiple grooved rollers.In this paper,frstly,the design method of RPRSM nut threadless area is proposed,and the equations related to the structural parameters of nut threadless area are derived.On this basis,the cross-section design method of roller,screw and nut is constructed according to the actual situation of engagements between the screw/nut and the roller.By adjusting the gap between the two beveled edges and that between the arc and the beveled edge,the accuracy of the thread engagements between the screw/nut and the roller can be improved.Secondly,to ensure the engagements of the screw/nut and the roller,the distance equation from the center surface of the diferent rollers to the end surface of cam ring is given.Thirdly,combined with the working principle and structural composition of RPRSM,the component model is established according to its relevant structural parameters,and the virtual assembly is completed.Finally,the 3D model is imported into the ADAMS simulation software for multi-rigid body dynamics.The dynamic characteristic is analyzed,and the simulated values are compared with the theoretical values.The results show that the contact forces between the screw/nut and the roller are sinusoidal,mainly due to the existence of a small gap between the roller and the carrier.The maximum collision forces between the roller and cam ring are independent from load magnitude.Normally,the collision force between the roller and the carrier increases as the load increases.When RPRSM is in the transmission process,the roller angular speed in nut threadless area begins to appear abruptly,and the position of the maximum change is at the contact between the roller and the convex platform of cam ring.The design of the nut threadless area and the proposed virtual assembly method can provide a theoretical guidance for RPRSM research,as well as a reference for overall performance optimization.

文摘To inhibit chips burning in the high-speed cutting of Ti-6Al-4V, nitrogen gas with 0.7 MPa pressure was ejected at the milling zone. The high speed flowing of nitrogen gas speeds up the chips leaving, and prevents the chips from burning at the same time. By this method the cutting force is reduced. Especially, the temperature increment of the finished surface is smaller than 5 ℃. This prevents the increase of hardness, improves the roughness of the finished surface, and reduces the tools wear. Comparing and analyzing the morphology and color of chips, which are obtained from the high-speed machining of Ti-6Al-4V with and without nitrogen gas ejection, show the action mechanism of nitrogen gas during the high-speed machining of titanium alloy, and it is concluded that nitrogen gas can be used to realize the proper high-speed milling of Ti-6Al-4V titanium alloy.

文摘The sliding-rolling mixed motion behavior degrades the ball screw’s precision at different levels.Based on the sliding-rolling mixed motion between ball and screw/nut raceway,the ball screw’s precision loss considering different given axial loading and rotational speed working conditions was investigated.Since creep and lubrication relate to sliding and rolling motion wear,the creep and lubrication characteristics are analyzed under different working conditions.Besides,the precision loss was calculated considering the sole influence of sliding behavior between ball and screw and compared with the results from other current models.Finally,research on precision loss owing to the sliding-rolling mixed motion behavior was realized under given working conditions,and suitable wear tests were carried out.The analytical results of precision loss are in good agreement with the experimental test conclusions,which is conducive to better predicting the law of precision loss in stable wear period.
