The mismatch of ill-phase and quadrature channels in quadrature receiver affects and constrains radar detection performance in coherent radar. It is necessary to keep the in-phase and quadrature branches symmetrical. In this letter, an adaptive method t.o detect imbalance parameters is derived by means of evaluating channel errors from the received signal .sequences. No matter how the bias degree of the gain and phase errors in I/Q channels are. the proposed adaptive scheme can obtain good calibration results. And the inquired calculations are only a few multiplications and additions. No need of a special test signal, the introduced method is simple to implement and easy to operate. 展开更多

We discuss the contributions of the top-Higgs ht0 predicted by topcolor-assisted technicolor (TC2) models to the process e+e- → vvtt.We find that the contributions are very large.For mht = 400 GeV and ε = 0.01,the production cross section of this process can reach 11.2 fb,which may be detected in thc future high energy e+e- collider experiments.The process e+ e- → vvtt can be used to test experimentally the signal of TC2 models. 展开更多

On the peak power level of 800 kW, the efficiency of klystron is more than 30%; the gain is more than 41 dB; the equal-driving relative instantaneous bandwidth is over 11%; the average power is larger than 8 kW, and the power fluctuation within bandwidth is less than 1.5 dB. 展开更多

The design and optimization of two types of novel miniature vibrating Electric Field Sensors (EFSs) based on Micro Electro Mechanical Systems (MEMS) technology are presented.They have different structures and vibrating modes. The volume is much smaller than other types of charge-induced EFSs such as field-mills. As miniaturizing, the induced signal is reduced enormously and a high sensitive circuit is needed to detect it. Elaborately designed electrodes can increase the amplitude of the output current, making the detecting circuit simplified and improving the signal-to-noise ratio. Computer simulations for different structural parameters of the EFSs and vibrating methods have been carried out by Finite Element Method (FEM). It is proved that the new structures are realizable and the output signals are detectable. 展开更多

However, low cost... Point of care testing (POCT) based on biosensors has been recently received increasingly interesting in the world. Using biosensor technology for biomedical analysis has demonstrated many advantages. However, low cost and high accurate biosensors for clinical analysis, particularly for POCT is still a common problem for commercialization of the most biosensors. In this work, it has the goals to develop materials (including nano materials) and methods for producing disposable biosensors capable with low cost, high reliability & sensitivity, robustness, low volume sample, and creating portable sensor systems (Figure 1) for testing human metabolites, biochemical markers without reagents. On top of the use of electrochemical method and Nano, MEMS technology, hemoglobin, creative kinase, alanine aminotransferas (ALT), Aspartate Aminotransferase (AST), glucose, lactate, ketone (β-Hydroxybutyrate), cholesterol have been tested using thin film electrode biosensors, modified with nanoporous and nanostructured materials (Figure 2). The electrode has high surface-to-volume ratio and excellent hydrophilicity, thus the electrode possesses high catalytic activities for electrolytic processes and are ideal candidates for biosensors. It is significant for the applications in clinical diagnosis of diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, home health care, sports, physical performance of athletes, blood screen. Glycated hemoglobin, creatine kinase MB (CK-MB), myoglobin, cardiac troponin I (cTnI), cardiac troponin T (cTnT) are interesting to be tested for the next study. 展开更多
