With the rapid increase of Unmanned Aircraft Vehicle(UAV) numbers,the contradiction between extensive flight demands and limited low-altitude airspace resources has become increasingly prominent.To ensure the safety a...With the rapid increase of Unmanned Aircraft Vehicle(UAV) numbers,the contradiction between extensive flight demands and limited low-altitude airspace resources has become increasingly prominent.To ensure the safety and efficiency of low-altitude UAV operations,the low-altitude UAV public air route creatively proposed by the Chinese Academy of Sciences(CAS) and supported by the Civil Aviation Administration of China(CAAC) has been gradually recognized.However,present planning research on UAV low-altitude air route is not enough to explore how to use the ground transportation infrastructure,how to closely combine the surface pattern characteristics,and how to form the mechanism of "network".Based on the solution proposed in the early stage and related researches,this paper further deepens the exploration of the low-altitude public air route network and the implementation of key technologies and steps with an actual case study in Tianjin,China.Firstly,a path-planning environment consisting of favorable spaces,obstacle spaces,and mobile communication spaces for UAV flights was pre-constructed.Subsequently,air routes were planned by using the conflict detection and path re-planning algorithm.Our study also assessed the network by computing the population exposure risk index(PERI) and found that the index value was greatly reduced after the construction of the network,indicating that the network can effectively reduce the operational risk.In this study,a low-altitude UAV air route network in an actual region was constructed using multidisciplinary approaches such as remote sensing,geographic information,aviation,and transportation;it indirectly verified the rationality of the outcomes.This can provide practical solutions to low-altitude traffic problems in urban areas.展开更多

To satisfy the demand of measuring the velocity of ground moving target through unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)electro-optical platform,two velocity measurement methods are proposed.Firstly,a velocity measurement method ...To satisfy the demand of measuring the velocity of ground moving target through unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)electro-optical platform,two velocity measurement methods are proposed.Firstly,a velocity measurement method based on target localization is derived,using the position difference between two points with the advantages of easy deployment and realization.Then a mathematical model for measuring target velocity is built and described by 15 variables,i.e.UAV velocity,UAV attitude angular rate,camera direction angular rate and so on.Moreover,the causes of velocity measurement error are analyzed and a formula is derived for calculating the measurement error.Finally,the simulation results show that angular rate error has a strong influence on the velocity measurement accuracy,especially the UAV pitch angular rate error,roll angular rate error and the camera angular altitude rate error,thus indicating the direction for improving velocity measurement precision.展开更多

The temperature sensitivity is determined and compared with that of coarse grained material. The results indicate that the flow stress of ultrafine grained aluminum displays enhanced sensitivity to temperature. The reduction in activation volume is suggested to be the major reason for the enhanced temperature sensitivity as grain size is refined into the sub-micrometer regime. Finally, a phenomenological constitutive model is proposed to describe the post-yield response of ultrafine grained aluminum.展开更多
Aiming at the requirements of accurate target positioning and autonomous capability for adapting to the environmental changes of unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV),a new method for wind estimation and airspeed calibration i...Aiming at the requirements of accurate target positioning and autonomous capability for adapting to the environmental changes of unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV),a new method for wind estimation and airspeed calibration is proposed.The method is implemented to obtain both wind speed and wind direction based on the information from a GPS receiver,an air data computer and a magnetic compass,combining with the velocity vector triangle relationships among ground speed,wind speed and air speed.Considering the installation error of Pitot tube,cubature Kalman filter(CKF)is applied to determine proportionality calibration coefficient of true airspeed,thus improving the accuracy of wind field information further.The entire autonomous flight simulation is performed in a constant 2-D wind using a digital simulation platform for UAV.Simulation results show that the wind speed and wind direction can be accurately estimated both in straight line and in turning segment during the path tracking by using the proposed method.The measurement accuracies of the wind speed and wind direction are 0.62 m/s and2.57°,respectively.展开更多
With the liquid propellant making up 60%—70% of the takeoff weight of the hypersonic vehicle,the dynamic load caused by great propellant sloshing interacts with the flexible structure of the aircraft.Therefore,the dy...With the liquid propellant making up 60%—70% of the takeoff weight of the hypersonic vehicle,the dynamic load caused by great propellant sloshing interacts with the flexible structure of the aircraft.Therefore,the dynamic model displays characteristics of strong coupling with structure/control and nonlinearity.Based on the sloshing mass dynamic simplified as a spring-mass-damping model,a rigid-flexible-sloshing model is constructed.Moreover,the effect on the dynamic performance of the coupled model is analyzed with changing frequency and damping.The results show that propellant sloshing dynamics significantly affects the rigid body motion modes,especially flexible mode and short mode.The right half plane pole(RHP)moves far from the imaginary axis with the consumption of the propellant.The flexible mode attenuates with the increase of the sloshing damping,and the coupling becomes stronger when sloshing frequency is close to the short mode frequency or the flexible frequency of the beam.展开更多
Strong spatial variance of the imaging parameters and serious geometric distortion of the image are induced by the acceleration and vertical velocity in a high-squint synthetic aperture radar(SAR)mounted on maneuverin...Strong spatial variance of the imaging parameters and serious geometric distortion of the image are induced by the acceleration and vertical velocity in a high-squint synthetic aperture radar(SAR)mounted on maneuvering platforms.In this paper,a frequency-domain imaging algorithm is proposed based on a novel slant range model and azimuth perturbation resampling.First,a novel slant range model is presented for mitigating the geometric distortion according to the equal squint angle curve on the ground surface.Second,the correction of azimuth-dependent range cell migration(RCM)is achieved by introducing a high-order time-domain perturbation function.Third,an azimuth perturbation resampling method is proposed for azimuth compression.The azimuth resampling and the time-domain perturbation are used for correcting first-order and high-order azimuthal spatial-variant components,respectively.Experimental results illustrate that the proposed algorithm can improve the focusing quality and the geometric distortion correction accuracy of the imaging scene effectively.展开更多
