Strategies for Prioritizing Ecological Construction with Consideration of Agricultural Industry Development in Northern China’s Agro- pastoral Ecotone : A Perspective of Opportunity Cost 被引量:2

In northern China’s agro-pastoral ecotone,there are conflicts between agricultural industry and ecological construction resource competition,and also problems urgently to be solved for economic growth and sustainable ecological improvement.Taking the development concept of"lucid waters and lush mountains being mountains of gold and silver"as the guiding principle of prioritizing ecological and green development,this paper studied the strategies for prioritizing ecological construction with consideration of economic development of agricultural industry from the perspective of opportunity cost.Through the analysis of opportunity cost,externality,and Pareto optimal theory,and using the calculation method of the unit equivalent factor value of terrestrial ecological service function,this paper calculated the ecological service value of forest,grassland,and farmland.It found that the ecological value of forest and grassland per unit area was greater than the ecological value of agricultural industry.This indicates that the opportunity cost of farmland for ecological construction was less than that of agricultural industry.Based on the theoretical and quantitative analysis,it came up with recommendations for establishing a comprehensive system for prioritizing ecological construction with consideration of agricultural industry development and establishing and improving the incentive mechanism of ecological construction. 展开更多

In order to obtain optimized flight vehicle concepts which meet system of systems (SOS) operation requirements, designers have to pay high attention to the impact of SoS at conceptual design stage since operation environment goes increasingly complex. Based on this tendency, per- spectives and progre,;ses of SoS oriented flight vehicle conceptual design, which is abbreviate as SoSed design, are reviewed in this paper. Such basic concepts of SoS as definition, characteristics, differences between systems engineering and SoS engineering, as well as SoSed design process are introduced, then SoS engineering process model for research and development of flight vehicles and SoSed design wheel model for conceptual design are proposed. Related literature is classified and analyzed in accordance with four major elements including requirements, design concept, design analysis, and trade studies and optimization: typical SoS architectures, description and quan- tization of indexes are introduced; Application of inverse design in designing concept is analyzed; Modeling and simulation (M&S)-based methods and their applications in SoSed effectiveness evaluation are highlighted; According to SoSed trade studies and optimization related research, the importance of such points as decision-making and using multidisciplinary design optimization for reference are emphasized. Finally, the value of SoSed design is concluded, and five directions which are worthy of .attention in this field are presented. 展开更多

Calcium-based desulfurization ash(CDA)is mainly produced in dry and semi-dry flue gas desulfurization processes.The property of CDA is extremely unstable because its main component,calcium sulfite,makes it difficult to be directly applied to the field of building materials.The modification of desulfurization ash can be realized by high-temperature oxidation and wet oxidation.After modification,CDA can be widely used in building materials.Hydrothermal oxidation has broad development prospects because it can complete the oxidation of CDA and the removal of impurity elements at the same time.CDA can be used to prepare high value-added products of calcium sulfate whiskers and ecological rubber fillers. 展开更多

Numerical Simulation of the Wake Generated by a Helicopter Rotor in Icing Conditions 被引量:2

The wake generated by the rotor of a helicopter can exert a strong interference effect on the fuselage and the horizontal/vertical tail.The occurrence of icing on the rotor can obviously make this interplay more complex.In the present study,numerical simulation is used to analyze the rotor wake in icing conditions.In order to validate the overall mathematical/numerical method,the results are compared with similar data relating to other tests;then,different simulations are conducted considering helicopter forward flight velocities of 0,10,20,50,and 80 knots and various conditions in terms of air temperature(atmospheric temperature degrading from−12°C to−20°C or from−20°C to−26°C).The results indicate that the rotor aerodynamic performance(i.e.,the lift-to-drag ratio distribution of the rotor disc)drops significantly once the rotor undergoes ice accretion.More importantly,the icing exerts a different influence of the wake dynamics depending on the atmospheric conditions.Interestingly,the rime-ice firstly occurs on the inner portion of rotor blades and then diffuses outward along the blade radial direction with the decrease in atmospheric temperature. 展开更多

Post-Quantum Blockchain over Lattice

Blockchain is an emerging decentralized architecture and distributed computing paradigm underlying Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies,and has recently attracted intensive attention from governments,financial institutions,high-tech enterprises,and the capital markets.Its cryptographic security relies on asymmetric cryptography,such as ECC,RSA.However,with the surprising development of quantum technology,asymmetric cryptography schemes mentioned above would become vulnerable.Recently,lattice-based cryptography scheme was proposed to be secure against attacks in the quantum era.In 2018,with the aid of Bonsai Trees technology,Yin et al.[Yin,Wen,Li et al.(2018)]proposed a lattice-based authentication method which can extend a lattice space to multiple lattice spaces accompanied by the corresponding key.Although their scheme has theoretical significance,it is unpractical in actual situation due to extremely large key size and signature size.In this paper,aiming at tackling the critical issue of transaction size,we propose a post quantum blockchain over lattice.By using SampleMat and signature without trapdoor,we can reduce the key size and signature size of our transaction authentication approach by a significant amount.Instead of using a whole set of vectors as a basis,we can use only one vector and rotate it enough times to form a basis.Based on the hardness assumption of Short Integer Solution(SIS),we demonstrate that the proposed anti-quantum transaction authentication scheme over lattice provides existential unforgeability against adaptive chosen-message attacks in the random oracle.As compared to the Yin et al.[Yin,Wen,Li et al.(2018)]scheme,our scheme has better performance in terms of energy consumption,signature size and signing key size.As the underlying lattice problem is intractable even for quantum computers,our scheme would work well in the quantum age. 展开更多

The English Channel(the Channel)represents a major sink and transport pathway of anthropogenic radioactive ^(129)I.Despite this important role,data concerning the distribution of ^(129)I in seawater of the Channel are scarce,and most of existing data are restricted to the eastern part of the Channel.The advection and dispersion of ^(129)I from the French coast toward the central and further the English coast,especially in the Channel west of Cap de La Hague,are not fully investigated.We present results of iodine isotopes( ^(127)I and ^(129)I)analyses of surface water samples collected along the central English Channel in October,2010.The data show high ^(129)I concentrations between Dover Strait and La Hague,followed by a dramatic drop towards the Celtic Sea and reveal the dispersal of ^(129)I towards central and northern part of the Channel.Our observation also implies that the entire British coast is contaminated by ^(129)I. ^(129)I levels in the westernmost English Channel,close to the English coast,may reflect combined influences from La Hague and Sellafield.Evolution of ^(129)I between 2005 and 2010 suggests a strong link to temporal marine discharges from La Hague plant.The discharges from the nuclear reprocessing facility have continued since 2010 and thus an ecological evaluation of ^(129)I radioactive hazards in the environment of the Channel may be needed. 展开更多
