The stability of the plane grating monochromator in the Hefei Advanced Light Facility is highly important for beamline focusing,with angular vibration being a key indicator for assessing its stability.This paper proposes an elastic fitting method based on fifth-order polynomial fitting for the precise analysis of microangular vibrations on grating surfaces.Compared with the traditional rigid body method,this method fully considers the three major elastic characteristics exhibited by optical components during vibration:significant phase differences,nonuniform deformation gradients,and spatial distribution differences in angular deformation.The research results indicate that this method can accurately reflect the actual vibration state of the grating surface,not only enabling the quantitative prediction of local angular microvibration but also establishing a reliable theoretical analysis framework for the stability assessment of high-precision instruments. 展开更多

The planar force model of prepreg,initially established based on the principle of minimum potential energy and the Rayleigh-Ritz method,was improved by considering the difference between the tensile and compressive moduli in the direction of the prepreg fibers.Compressivetensile stress distribution coefficients were also established.Combined with tests on the effect of process parameters on interlayer tack,a theoretical prediction model for the turning radius related to process parameters was developed,and the impact of prepreg interlayer tack force on the minimum turning radius was analyzed.A finite element simulation model for prepreg curve placement was created to study the size and distribution patterns of folds generated during the prepreg turning process.A minimum turning radius test was conducted to establish evaluation criteria for surface defects in curve placement and verify the accuracy of the minimum turning radius prediction model.Based on this,a prediction method for the minimum turning radius of prepreg related to process parameters was established,providing constraints for the trajectory design of variable-stiffness placement composites. 展开更多

SalicS1 is a genetically encoded,ratiometric FRET biosensor that brings salicylic acid(SA)research to the same real-time imaging standard long available for ABA and GA.Built through a modular Golden Gate platform and informed by NPR-NIMIN structural biology,SalicS1 achieves SA specificity,tunable affinity,reversibility,and non-perturbing expression in Arabidopsis.Using this sensor,pathogen infection,non-adapted fungal challenge,and aphid feeding are shown to elicit spatially propagating SA surges rather than purely local accumulation,revealing a tissue-level organization of immune signaling that bulk assays could not resolve.SalicS1 therefore provides a broadly deployable tool for dissecting the geometry,timing,and genotype dependence of SA-mediated plant defense. 展开更多

Stimulated Raman adiabatic passage(STIRAP)is a widely used technique for efficient population transfer between quantum states.However,the adiabatic nature of STIRAP requires slow evolution,leading to long operation times,which limits its practical applications.The superadiabatic method has been introduced to accelerate the STIRAP process,but it often necessitates additional couplings between the initial and target states,which may not be available in the original Hamiltonian.In this work,we present a novel approach to implement superadiabatic STIRAP(sa-STIRAP)between dressed states in a three-level quantum system.By modulating the amplitude and phase of the original driving fields,the initial and target states in dressed-state space can be effectively coupled.This approach provides a practical means of realizing sa-STIRAP in experimental setups,making it convenient to accelerate adiabatic quantum state transfer. 展开更多

GNSS imaging of vertical crustal deformation in Chinese mainland derived from decade-long continuous GNSS measurements

To characterize the spatial patterns of vertical crustal movement of Chinese mainland,GNSS imaging technology was applied to map the tectonic deformation of the region.In this study,the vertical crustal velocities inferred from GNSS data for Chinese mainland over two decades were rigorously estimated.First,by analyzing the vertical displacement time series from continuous GNSS stations and environmental load data,we found that the annual and semi-annual vertical displacements are highly correlated.This indicates that the vertical seasonal variations on the ground surface are mainly caused by environmental loading.After removing the seasonal variations caused by environmental loads from the GNSS time series,we applied an improved PCA technique to filter out common mode errors.Next,we estimated the optimal noise models for the filtered time series and derived the vertical velocity field of Chinese mainland.Finally,we employed an empirical Spatial Structure Function(SSF)to image the tectonic deformation of Chinese mainland.This method effectively mitigates issues with abrupt circular arc-shaped boundaries in GNSS imaging caused by sparse station networks.The imaging results show that vertical crustal deformation in Chinese mainland generally ranges from-3 to 3 mm/yr,with significant spatial variability.The central and northern parts of Qinghai-Xizang Plateau are identified as primary subsidence zones,indicating that plate boundaries and tectonic compression continue to shape the crustal movement in these regions.The major uplift zones are located in northern and central China,likely linked to regional tectonic activity and plate compression.Subsidence deformation in parts of eastern China appears to be influenced by human activities. 展开更多

Skeletal muscle injuries are prone to induce fatigue,decrease resistance and imbalances in the body.Although ovalbumin(OVA)has such biological effect as promoting tissue development and immunomodulation,its impact on repairing skeletal muscle injuries has been rarely reported.In this study,a mouse model of muscle injury was constructed and found that OVA significantly increased muscle weight,muscle thickness,and exercise capacity in muscle-injured mice.Meanwhile,OVA improved the morphology of muscle tissues by reducing serum levels of urea nitrogen,creatine kinase,and lactate dehydrogenase,as well as decreasing the levels of inflammatory factors interleukin(IL)-1β,tumor necrosis factor α,and IL-6,respectively.In addition,transcriptomic and metabolomic analyses revealed that OVA could enhance muscle tissue morphology by upregulating the phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase-protein kinase B signaling pathway and improving amino acid metabolism through the upregulation of Col11a2,Ccn2,Thbs1,Tnc,Klf2,Bcl2l1,Adh3a1,and Rsad1.The study provided a theoretical foundation for understanding the molecular mechanisms in OVA-aided muscle injury repair. 展开更多

Smart windows that can repel diverse liquids are highly attractive for the development of self-cleaning building system.Despite immense achievements having been made in drophobic smart windows,unfortunately,the limitations of inferior transparency,unsatisfactory flexibility,and scarce functionality greatly hinder their practical applications.Here,a multifunctional,all-flexible and slef-cleaning electrothermal-actuated(SETA)module with superior transparency is developed by sandwiching the hydrophobic SiO_(2) nanoparticles decorated silver nanowires thin-film heater and the thermo-responsive hydrogel.Through loading/discharging an electric stimulus of 5 V,the optical visibility of SETA could be in situ switched between an opaque state(T_(550)=11.0%)and a transparent state(T_(550)=84.9%)relying on the dynamically collapsed and swollen transition of hydrogel on planar and three-dimensional curved surfaces.Moreover,SETA chipset is able to repel diverse liquids,including organic and inorganic species,showcasing an excellent self-cleaning capability.Lastly,all-in-one multifunctionalities,including pixelated display,thermal regulation,defogging,and self-cleaning on a single SETA chipset,are successfully deployed.Compared to the previous windows,the current SETA chipset is more competent for optical switching in reality,owing to its portable,energy-efficient,flexible,highly-transparent,and on-demand manipulating advantages.This work provides inspirations for self-cleaning greenhouse,tunable optics,intelligent vehicles,and so on. 展开更多

To investigate the impact of temporary structures on the mechanical behavior of shaped bridge towers during the construction process,the Dianbu River Special Bridge was selected as the engineering background.A finite element model of the middle tower column during the construction stage was established using ABAQUS to analyze the effects of key parameters,including the angle and pretension of temporary cables,as well as the wall thickness and diameter of temporary diagonal braces.The study examines how these parameters influence the stresses at the towergirder consolidation.The results indicate that the angle of temporary cables significantly affects the tensile stresses at the tower-girder consolidation,while its impact on compressive stresses is minimal.Among all parameters,the pretension of temporary cables has the most pronounced effect on the stresses at the tower-girder consolidation.In contrast,the wall thickness of temporary diagonal braces has only a minor influence,whereas the diameter of temporary diagonal braces has an almost negligible impact.These findings provide valuable insights for optimizing the design and arrangement of temporary support structures in similar bridge construction projects. 展开更多

Improved simulated annealing algorithm for UAV path planning with uncertain flight time

Efficient multiple unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs)path planning is crucial for improving mission completion efficiency in UAV operations.However,during the actual flight of UAVs,the flight time between nodes is always influenced by external factors,making the original path planning solution ineffective.In this paper,the multi-depot multi-UAV path planning problem with uncertain flight time is modeled as a robust optimization model with a budget uncertainty set.Then,the robust optimization model is transformed into a mixed integer linear programming model by the strong duality theorem,which makes the problem easy to solve.To effectively solve large-scale instances,a simulated annealing algorithm with a robust feasibility check(SA-RFC)is developed.The numerical experiment shows that the SA-RFC can find high-quality solutions within a few seconds.Moreover,the effect of the task location distribution,depot counts,and variations in robustness parameters on the robust optimization solution is analyzed by using Monte Carlo experiments.The results demonstrate that the proposed robust model can effectively reduce the risk of the UAV failing to return to the depot without significantly compromising the profit. 展开更多

Exploring the thermal evolution of highly-to over-mature source rocks using Raman spectroscopy and geochemical signatures

This study investigated the heterogeneous responses of organic matter(OM)in highly-to over-mature source rocks during thermal maturation.An integrated analysis was conducted on the Raman spectroscopic and geochemical signatures of shales from the Lower Silurian Longmaxi Formation and the Lower Cambrian Qiongzhusi Formation,as well as anthracites from the Lower Permian Shanxi–Formation and the Upper Carboniferous Taiyuan Formation(collectively referred to as the Shanxi Taiyuan Formations).Additionally,burial and thermal evolution modeling was employed to support the analysis.A systematic assessment of Raman spectral parameters(e.g.,the positions and intensity ratio of the D and G bands)revealed robust correlations between the thermal history patterns of source rocks and molecular structural evolution parameters.The subsequent mechanistic quantification demonstrated that the maturation state of the source rocks was subjected to the hierarchical control of three principal factors:Peak heating temperature,the duration of sustained thermal intensity,and effective maturation duration.In addition,comparative analyses demonstrated that the anthracites attained higher structural ordering under sustained thermal conditions.This contrasts with the disordered carbon matrices observed in the intermittently heated shales.Raman spectroscopy further revealed broader variations in the D and G band intensities of the Longmaxi Formation compared to the Qiongzhusi Formation.This difference is associated with their different thermal histories.The thermal burial histories confirm that shales in the Longmaxi Formation underwent thermal exposure at lower peak temperatures over a shorter duration compared to those in the Qiongzhusi Formation.Finally,this study established a maturity calibration model for over-mature source rocks through a systematic correlation between Raman peak height ratios(R_(D/G))and vitrinite reflectance(R_(o)). 展开更多

Urban construction land suitability evaluation (UCLSE) is a complex system engineering and the basis for rational use of the limited urban land resources in China. It has an important practical value on urban construction land use planning and management from the angle of methodology. As a widely used technique, traditional multi-criteria evaluation based on GIS (MCE-GIS), is not suitable for UCLSE. This study develops an improved MCE-GIS method which could be more suitable for UCLSE based on urban complex ecological system theory and the summary of the shortcomings of traditional MCE-GIS. The improvements include three aspects: a composite evaluation index system rather than natural indexes alone, an index weight calculated by using fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method rather than the common AHP method, and the integrated overlay rule, which includes selecting the minimum value, weighted linear combination (WLC) and simple summation. The main advantage of this improved technique is that it can make UCLSE more comprehensive, more operational and more reasonable. It can provide a scientific basis for decision making in the planning and management of urban construction land use. The improved MCE-GIS system has been adopted in the New Hefei City, Anhui Province, China. Based on the results of UCLSE in New Hefei, three functional areas including construction-appropriate areas, construction-restricted areas and construction-forbidden areas could be worked out, in which 36.90% of the total study area could be developed as urban construction land and the remaining 63.10% should be protected as reserves land or as ecological land. Furthermore, the results can orovide scientific decision suooort for spatial planning and eco-environment nrotection in New Hefei. 展开更多

Using data, we analyze the "sideline effect" and inherent contradiction of transformational cities, research the policy needs for social security and its trend in the citizenization process of the peri-urban farmers. On this basis, we construct the social security policy system that can adapt to the accelerated process of urbanization. Finally, we put forth the following recommendations for the social security policy in the citizenization process of the peri-urban farmers: distinguishing different groups' policy needs for social security; attaching importance to people's dynamic policy needs for social security in urbanization; focusing on the adaptability of social security policy transformation in urbanization; attaching importance to the social psychosocial environment of social security policy transformation in urbanization; achieving the trinity of non-farm conversion, urbanization and citizenization in the process of urbanization; strengthening the government's dominant position in the building of social security policy system. 展开更多

The gears of new energy vehicles are required to withstand higher rotational speeds and greater loads,which puts forward higher precision essentials for gear manufacturing.However,machining process parameters can cause changes in cutting force/heat,resulting in affecting gear machining precision.Therefore,this paper studies the effect of different process parameters on gear machining precision.A multi-objective optimization model is established for the relationship between process parameters and tooth surface deviations,tooth profile deviations,and tooth lead deviations through the cutting speed,feed rate,and cutting depth of the worm wheel gear grinding machine.The response surface method(RSM)is used for experimental design,and the corresponding experimental results and optimal process parameters are obtained.Subsequently,gray relational analysis-principal component analysis(GRA-PCA),particle swarm optimization(PSO),and genetic algorithm-particle swarm optimization(GA-PSO)methods are used to analyze the experimental results and obtain different optimal process parameters.The results show that optimal process parameters obtained by the GRA-PCA,PSO,and GA-PSO methods improve the gear machining precision.Moreover,the gear machining precision obtained by GA-PSO is superior to other methods. 展开更多

Co-based alloy coating was prepared on Zr alloy using laser melting and cladding technique to study the difference in the high-temperature oxidation behavior between pure metal Co coatings and Co-T800 alloy coatings,as well as the wear resistance of the coatings.Besides,the effect of changing the laser melting process on the coatings was also investigated.The oxidation mass gain at 800–1200℃and the high-temperature oxidation behavior during high-temperature treatment for 1 h of two coated Zr alloy samples were studied.Results show that the Co coating and the Co-T800 coating have better resistance against high-temperature oxidation.After oxidizing at 1000℃for 1 h,the thickness of the oxide layer of the uncoated sample was 241.0μm,whereas that of the sample with Co-based coating is only 11.8–35.5μm.The friction wear test shows that the depth of the abrasion mark of the coated sample is only 1/2 of that of the substrate,indicating that the hardness and wear resistance of the Zr substrate are greatly improved.The disadvantage of Co-based coatings is the inferior corrosion resistance in 3.5wt%NaCl solution. 展开更多

Gear flank modification is essential to reduce the noise generated in the gear meshing process,improve the gear transmission performance,and reduce the meshing impact.Aiming at the problem of solving the additional motions of each axis in the higher-order topology modification technique and how to accurately add the different movements expressed in the form of higher-order polynomials to the corresponding motion axes of the machine tool,a flexible higher-order gear topology modification technique based on an electronic gearbox is proposed.Firstly,a two-parameter topology gear surface equation and a grinding model of wheel grinding gears are established,and the axial feed and tangential feed are expressed in a fifth-order polynomial formula.Secondly,the polynomial coefficients are solved according to the characteristics of the point contact when grinding gears.Finally,an improved electronic gearbox model is constructed by combining the polynomial interpolation function to achieve gear topology modification.The validity and feasibility of the modification method based on the electronic gearbox are verified by experimental examples,which is of great significance for the machining of modification gears based on the continuous generative grinding method of the worm grinding wheel. 展开更多

Mid-infrared(MIR)-polarized thermal emission has broad applications in areas such as molecular sensing,information encryption,target detection,and optical communication.However,it is difficult for objects in nature to produce polarized thermal emission.Moreover,simultaneously generating and modulating broadband MIR thermal emission with both circular and linear polarization is even more difficult.We present a chiral plasmonic metasurface emitter(CPME)composed of asymmetric L-shaped and I-shaped antennas.The CPME consists of In_(3)SbTe_(2)(IST)phase-change material(PCM)antennas,an Al_(2)O_(3) dielectric layer,and an Au substrate.It is demonstrated that the CPME can selectively emit polarized light with different polarization states.Numerical simulations show that the CPME can achieve full Stokes parameter control of MIR thermal emission.By changing the state of the PCM IST,the spectral emissivity of 0 deg,45 deg,90 deg,and 135 deg linearly polarized(LP)lights and left-handed/right-handed circularly polarized(LCP/RCP)lights can be adjusted.In the crystalline state,the CPME exhibits the total degree of polarization(DoP)greater than 0.5 in the wavelength range of 3.4 to 5.3μm,the degree of linear polarization(DoLP)greater than 0.4 in the range of 3.0 to 5.1μm,and the degree of circular polarization(DoCP)greater than 0.4 in the range of 4.5 to 5.6μm.The physical mechanism of polarized emission has been investigated fully based on the near-field intensity distribution and power loss distribution.Finally,the potential applications of the designed CPME in infrared polarization detection and antidetection are verified through numerical calculations. 展开更多

This study focuses on the impact of Gd^(3+),Sm^(3+),Er^(3+).Y^(3+),and Bi^(3+)multi-doping on the crystal structure,microscopic surface features,and ionic conductivity of cerium dioxide in the Ce_(1-x)(Gd_(1/5)Sm_(1/5)Er_(1/5)Y_(1/)_5Bi_(1/5))_(x)O_(2-δ)(GSEYB)system.This system holds promise as a solid electrolyte material for low and medium-temperature solid oxide fuel cells.The powders of Ce_(1-x)(Gd_(1/5)Sm_(1/5)Er_(1/5)Y_(1/5)Bi_(1/5))_(x)O_(2-δ)(x=0,0.10,0.15,0.20,0.25,0.30)were synthesized using the solid-phase reaction method.The GSEYB electrolytes were comprehensively investigated for their phase structure,microstructure,oxygen vacancy concentration,and ionic conductivity using X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),energy dispersive spectroscopy(EDS),transmission electron microscopy(TEM),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),and impedance spectroscopy.XRD diffraction patterns confirm a cubic fluorite-type structure with Fm3m space groups in all multi-doped systems.After sintering at 1400℃for 10 h,the relative density of doped samples exceeds 96%.In terms of electrical properties,the Ce_(0.75)Gd_(0.05)Sm_(0.05)Er_(0.05)Y_(0.05)Bi_(0.05)O_(2-δ)(x=0.25)electrolyte exhibits the highest ionic conductivity(σ_(t)=4.45×10^(-2)S/cm)and the lowest activation energy(E_(a)=0.79 eV)at 800℃.The coefficient of thermal expansion of the developed electrolyte aligns well with that of the commonly used electrode materials.This compatibility positions it as a highly promising candidate for utilization as an electrolyte material in solid oxide fuel cells(SOFCs). 展开更多

The hierarchical and coordinated processing of visual information by the brain demonstrates its superior ability to min-imize energy consumption and maximize signal transmission efficiency.Therefore,it is crucial to develop artificial visual synapses that integrate optical sensing and synaptic functions.This study fully leverages the excellent photoresponsivity proper-ties of the PM6:Y6 system to construct a vertical photo-tunable organic memristor and conducts in-depth research on its resis-tive switching performance,photodetection capability,and simulation of photo-synaptic behavior,showcasing its excellent per-formance in processing visual information and simulating neuromorphic behaviors.The device achieves stable and gradual resis-tance change,successfully simulating voltage-controlled long-term potentiation/depression(LTP/LTD),and exhibits various photo-electric synergistic regulation of synaptic plasticity.Moreover,the device has successfully simulated the image percep-tion and recognition functions of the human visual nervous system.The non-volatile Au/PM6:Y6/ITO memristor is used as an artificial synapse and neuron modeling,building a hierarchical coordinated processing SLP-CNN cascade neural network for visual image recognition training,its linear tunable photoconductivity characteristic serves as the weight update of the net-work,achieving a recognition accuracy of up to 93.4%.Compared with the single-layer visual target recognition model,this scheme has improved the recognition accuracy by 19.2%. 展开更多

The presence of heavy metals in soil negatively impacts its mechanical properties.Reactive MgO carbonation presents a promising approach to enhance the solidification of Pb-contaminated sandy soils.However,the mechanical properties and structural behavior of contaminated soils during carbonation can vary significantly due to differences in soil composition.This study examines the potential application and underlying mechanisms of reactive MgO carbonation in improving the mechanical properties of Pb-contaminated red clay.The findings demonstrate that Pb-contaminated red clay transitions from a plastic to a brittle state following reactive MgO carbonation.After 1 h of treatment,the strength of the red clay exceeded 3 MPa,even at high Pb^(2+)concentrations.The deformation modulus to unconfined compressive strength(UCS)ratio was calculated to be 37.761,with the failure strain primarily ranging from 1.5%to 4.0%.A strength prediction model for the reactive MgO-stabilized Pb-contaminated red clay was proposed,which showed good predictive accuracy.Furthermore,reactive MgO carbonation significantly reduced the Pb leaching concentration in the high-level Pb-contaminated soil to below 0.1 mg/L.Microscopic analysis revealed that an optimal amount of hydrated magnesium carbonates(HMCs)formed a stable and compact structure with the soil particles.However,long-term carbonation causes red clay particles to become sandy,and excessive HMCs can harm the soil structure.Therefore,to maximize the strength improvement while avoiding structural damage,the carbonation time should be controlled to 1 h. 展开更多

Depolarizing behavior is commonly observed in most natural samples.For this reason,optical tools measuring the differences in depolarization response among spatially separated structures are highly useful in a wide range of imaging applications for enhanced visualization of structures,target identification,etc.One commonly used tool for depolarizing discrimination is the so-called depolarizing spaces.In this article,we exploit the combined use of two depolarizing spaces,the indices of polarization purity(IPP)and polarizance–reflection–transformation(PRT)spaces,to improve the capability of optical systems to identify polarization–anisotropy depolarizers.The potential of these spaces to discriminate among different depolarizers is first studied from a series of simulations by incoherently adding diattenuations or retarders,with some control parameters emulating samples in nature.The simulated results demonstrate that the proposed methods are capable of increasing differences among depolarizers beyond other well-known techniques.Experimentally,validation is provided by conducting diverse phantom experiments of easy interpretation and mimicking the stated simulations.As a useful application of our approach,we developed a model able to retrieve intrinsic microscopic information of samples from macroscopic polarimetric measurements.The proposed methods enable non-invasive,straightforward,macroscopic characterization of depolarizing samples,and may be of interest for enhanced visualization of samples in multiple imaging scenarios. 展开更多
