Effects of seasonal air temperature variation on airflow and surrounding rock temperature of mines 被引量:4

This paper examines the dynamics and effects o... In underground mines, high air temperatures in the summer months lead to an increase in inlet airflow temperatures. This leads to seasonal thermal pollution in the mines. This paper examines the dynamics and effects of seasonal variation in surface air temperatures and surrounding rock temperatures in deep coal mines. It also examines temperature variations in the main ventilation circuit, working face, and surrounding rock. The study results revealed that airflow temperatures were significantly affected by seasonal air temperature variations. The greater the distance was between the inlet and the wellhead of the ventilation shaft, the less the effect was on temperature. Moreover, slight temperature variations (1.0-3.0 ℃) were observed between various points on the return route during the summer months. Airflow temperatures along the airflow inlet to the return route of the working face first decreased, but then increased. The temperature field of the surrounding rock increased gradually with increased distance between the mine roadway and inlet, with recorded rock temperatures as high as 40.53 ℃. The radius of the heat-adjusting layer was between 28 and 33 m. 展开更多

Cookies are considered a fundamental means of web application services for authenticating various Hypertext Transfer Protocol(HTTP)requests andmaintains the states of clients’information over the Internet.HTTP cookies are exploited to carry client patterns observed by a website.These client patterns facilitate the particular client’s future visit to the corresponding website.However,security and privacy are the primary concerns owing to the value of information over public channels and the storage of client information on the browser.Several protocols have been introduced that maintain HTTP cookies,but many of those fail to achieve the required security,or require a lot of resource overheads.In this article,we have introduced a lightweight Elliptic Curve Cryptographic(ECC)based protocol for authenticating client and server transactions to maintain the privacy and security of HTTP cookies.Our proposed protocol uses a secret key embedded within a cookie.The proposed protocol ismore efficient and lightweight than related protocols because of its reduced computation,storage,and communication costs.Moreover,the analysis presented in this paper confirms that proposed protocol resists various known attacks. 展开更多

The nano-titanium dioxide (nano-TiO_2) sensing membrane,fabricated by sol-gel technology,was used as the pH-sensing layer of the extended gate field effect transistor (EGFET) device.The objective of this research is the preparation of titanium dioxide materials by sol-gel method using Ti(OBu)_4 as the precursor.In this study,we fabricated a nano-titanium dioxide sensing layer on the ITO glass by dip coating.In order to examine the sensitivity of the nano-TiO_2 films applied to the EGFET devices,we adopted the ITO glass as substrate,and measured theⅠ_(DS)-Ⅴ_G curves of the nano-titanium dioxide separative structure EGFET device in the pH buffer solutions that have different pH values by the Keithley 236 Instrument.By the experimental results,we can obtain the pH sensitivities of the EGFET with nano-TiO_2 sensing membrane prepared by sol-gel method,which is 59.86mV/pH from pH 1 to pH 9. 展开更多

We use the carbon nanotube (CNT) as the material of the pH sensing layer of the separative structure for the extended gate H^+-ion sensitive field effect transistor (EGFET) device.The CNT paste was prepared with CNT powder,Ag powder,silicagel,the di-n-butyl phthalate and the toluene solvents by appropriate ratio,then immobilized on the silicon substrate to form the carbon nanotube sensing layer.We measured theⅠ_(DS)-Ⅴ_G curves of the carbon nanotube separative structure EGFET device in the different pH buffer solutions by the Keithley 236Ⅰ-Ⅴmeasurement system.According to the experimental results,we can obtain the pH sensitivities of the carbon nanotube separative structure EGFET device,which is 62.54mV/pH from pH1 to pH13. 展开更多

Path Planning of the Multiple Mobile Robot System Applied in Chinese Chess Game 被引量:1

The article presents the path planning algorithm to be applied in the Chinese chess game, and uses multiple mobile robots to present the experimental scenario. Users play the Chinese chess game using the mouse on the supervised computer. The supervised computer programs the motion paths using A* searching algorithm, and controls mobile robots moving on the grid based chessboard platform via wireless radio frequency (RF) interface. The A* searching algorithm solves shortest path problems of mobile robots from the start point to the target point, and avoids the obstacles on the chessboard platform. The supervised computer calculates the total time to play the game, and computes the residual time to play chess in the step for each player. The simulation results can fired out the shortest motion paths of the mobile robots (chesses) moving to target points from start points in the monitor, and decides the motion path to be existence or not. The eaten chess can moves to the assigned position, and uses the A* searching algorithm to program the motion path, too. Finally, the authors implement the simulation results on the chessboard platform using mobile robots. Users can play the Chinese chess game on the supervised computer according to the Chinese chess game rule, and play each step of the game in the assigned time. The supervised computer can suggests which player don't obey the rules of the game, and decides which player to be a winner. The scenario of the Chinese chess game feedback to the user interface using the image system. 展开更多

This research will develop a set of assessment techniques and proce-dures for exterior wall deterioration detection.The proposed method is mainly based on equipped with high-resolution photographic equipment for unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV).To overcome the problems of visual inspection difficulties due to diferent angles and height,the proposed method provides a safer and more efficient detection way to get the buildings'exterior status.After using the pro-posed method to analyze the images taken from UAV,the size of the damaged area can be evaluated more accurately,and the accuracy rate of visual assessment will be significantly improved.The results of the proposed method can reduce the accidents caused by the inspection process in the critical environment and the costs incured by the temporary facilities without sacrificing the quality of the inspection results.Then,the research will implement the existing visual assessment method because of the characteristics of rapid detection,however,the assessment results will be different from different inspectors due to subjectivity.Thus,the research will present an improved visual inspection method by using UAV and Forward Looking Infred Thermal technology (FLIR).The result will be presented by Condition Index(CI-Level)instead to improve the subjectivity of the personnel. 展开更多

The article presents multi-pattern formation exchange of mobile robots according to the image signals, programs motion paths using A* searching algorithm, and avoids the collision points of motion paths. The system contains an image system, a grid based motion platform, some wireless Radio Frequency (RF) modules and five mobile robots. We use image recognition algorithm to classify variety pattern formation according to variety Quick Response (QR) code symbols on the user interface of the supervised computer. The supervised computer controls five mobile robots to execute formation exchange and presents the movement scenario on the grid based motion platform. We have been developed some pattern formations according to game applications, such as long snake pattern formation, phalanx pattern formation, crane wing pattern formation, sword pattern formation, cone pattern formation, sward pattern tbrmation, T pattern formation, rectangle pattern formation and so on. We develop the user interface of the multi-robot system to program motion paths for variety pattern formation exchange according to the minimum displacement. In the experimental results, the supervised computer recognizes the various QR-code symbols using image system and decides which pattern formation to be selected on real-time. Mobile robots can receive the pattern formation command from the supervised computer, present the movement scenario from the original pattern formation to the assigned pattern formation on the motion platform, and avoid other mobile robots on real-time. 展开更多

This paper proposes an improved modularizable high-frequency battery equalizer with multi-winding transformer for energy storage systems. The involvement of parasitic components in circuit resonance, along with the addition of a resonant network, enables soft-switching for the power switches to reduce the switch voltage stress due to high frequency switching operation. The proposed circuit is designed to operate at switching frequency of 1 MHz. The detailed analysis of circuit operation is provided. At last, the feasibility and performance of the proposed battery equalizer are demonstrated through the system implementation and experimental tests of a prototype circuit. Fractional calculus is considered a useful tool for gaining deeper insights into systems with memory effects or history. Fractional-order modeling of nonlinear systems may increase the stiffness and complexity of the system, but also provides better insights. This study introduces a swarm intelligence-based parameter estimation of the fractional Hammerstein autoregressive exogenous noise (fractional-HARX) model. The Grünwald–Letnikov finite difference formula is used to develop the fractionalHARX model from the standard HARX model. This study presents the design of a swarm intelligence-based electric eel foraging optimization algorithm (EEFOA) for parameter estimation of the fractional-HARX model under multiple noise scenarios for second- and third-order polynomial type nonlinearity. The key-term separation principle is also incorporated in the system model to reduce the occurrence of redundant parameters due to cross-product terms in the information vector. The designed methodology is examined, and the superiority of EEFOA is endorsed in terms of convergence, robustness, stiff parameter estimation, and deviation from the mean point in comparison with state-of-the-art optimization heuristics such as the whale optimization algorithm, the African vulture optimization algorithm, Harris hawk’s optimizer, and the reptile search algorithm. The statistical significance of the EEFOA for the estimation of fractional-HARX models is also established using statistical indices of best, mean, and worst fitness values along with standard deviation for multiple noise scenarios. 展开更多
