Reliable and efficient communication is essential for Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV)networks,especially in dynamic and resource-constrained environments such as disaster management,surveillance,and environmental monitor...Reliable and efficient communication is essential for Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV)networks,especially in dynamic and resource-constrained environments such as disaster management,surveillance,and environmental monitoring.Frequent topology changes,high mobility,and limited energy availability pose significant challenges to maintaining stable and high-performance routing.Traditional routing protocols,such as Ad hoc On-Demand Distance Vector(AODV),Load-Balanced Optimized Predictive Ad hoc Routing(LB-OPAR),and Destination-Sequenced Distance Vector(DSDV),often experience performance degradation under such conditions.To address these limitations,this study evaluates the effectiveness of Dynamic Adaptive Routing(DAR),a protocol designed to adapt routing decisions in real time based on network dynamics and resource constraints.The research utilizes the Network Simulator 3(NS-3)platform to conduct controlled simulations,measuring key performance indicators such as latency,Packet Delivery Ratio(PDR),energy consumption,and throughput.Comparative analysis reveals that DAR consistently outperforms conventional protocols,achieving a 20%-30% reduction in latency,a 25% decrease in energy consumption,and marked improvements in throughput and PDR.These results highlight DAR’s ability to maintain high communication reliability while optimizing resource usage in challenging operational scenarios.By providing empirical evidence of DAR’s advantages in highly dynamic UAV network environments,this study contributes to advancing adaptive routing strategies.The findings not only validate DAR’s robustness and scalability but also lay the groundwork for integrating artificial intelligence-driven decision-making and real-world UAV deployment.Future work will explore cross-layer optimization,multi-UAV coordination,and experimental validation in field trials,aiming to further enhance communication resilience and energy efficiency in next-generation aerial networks.展开更多

Timely and stable sealing of uncontrolled high-pressure hemorrhage in emergency situations outside surgical units remains a major clinical challenge,contributing to the high mortality rate associated with trauma.The c...Timely and stable sealing of uncontrolled high-pressure hemorrhage in emergency situations outside surgical units remains a major clinical challenge,contributing to the high mortality rate associated with trauma.The currently widely used hemostatic bioadhesives are ineffective for hemorrhage from major arteries and the heart due to the absence of biologically compatible flexible structures capable of simultaneously ensuring conformal tough adhesion and biomechanical support.Here,inspired by the principle of chromatin assembly,we present a tissue-conformable tough matrix for robust sealing of severe bleeding.This hierarchical matrix is fabricated through a phase separation process,which involves the in-situ formation of nanoporous aggregates within a microporous double-network(DN)matrix.The dispersed aggregates disrupt the rigid physical crosslinking of the original DN matrix and function as a dissipative component,enabling the aggregate-based DN(aggDN)matrix to efficiently dissipate energy during stress and achieve improved conformal attachment to soft tissues.Subse-quently,pre-activated bridging polymers facilitate rapid interfacial bonding between the matrix and tissue surfaces.They synergistically withstand considerable hydraulic pressure of approximately 700 mmHg and demonstrate exceptional tissue adhesion and sealing in rat cardiac and canine aortic hemorrhages,out-performing the commercially available bioadhesives.Our findings present a promising biomimetic strategy for engineering biomechanically compatible and tough adhesive hydrogels,facilitating prompt and effective treat-ment of hemorrhagic wounds.展开更多
Cross-linking agents are frequently used to restore corneal properties after decellularization,and it is especially important to select an appropriate method to avoid excessive cross-linking.In addition,how to promote...Cross-linking agents are frequently used to restore corneal properties after decellularization,and it is especially important to select an appropriate method to avoid excessive cross-linking.In addition,how to promote wound healing and how to improve scar formation require further investigation.To ensure the safety and efficacy of animal-derived products,we designed bioartificial corneas(BACs)according to the criteria for Class III medical devices.Our BACs do not require cross-linking agents and increase mechanical strength via self-cross-linking of aldehyde-modified hyaluronic acid(AHA)and carboxymethyl chitosan(CMC)on the surface of decellularized porcine corneas(DPCs).The results showed that the BACs had good biocompatibility and transparency,and the modification enhanced their antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties in vitro.Preclinical animal studies showed that the BACs can rapidly regenerate the epithelium and restore vision within a month.After 3 months,the BACs were gradually filled with epithelial,stromal,and neuronal cells,and after 6 months,their transparency and histology were almost normal.In addition,side effects such as corneal neovascularization,conjunctival hyperemia,and ciliary body hyperemia rarely occur in vivo.Therefore,these BACs show promise for clinical application for the treatment of infectious corneal ulcers and as a temporary covering for corneal perforations to achieve the more time.展开更多
