Wetlands are significant for ecosystem services such as nutrient cycles, soil formation and water treatment. Nearly half of the world’s wetlands have vanished in the last century because of anthropogenic activities, agricultural land use, and urban development, one of such places that are faced with the challenges of sustainability is the wetland habitats. This study aimed at assessing the spatial temporal characteristics of wetlands ecosystem in the Niger Delta Region of Nigeria from 1986-2016. The secondary data include raw satellite imageries obtained from the archive of the United States Geological Survey and Earth Explorer. The data set includes a notable period of four years landsat images for, 1986, 1996, 2006 and 2016. The maps were projected using Universal Transverse Mercator (UTM) projection system and datum WGS 84 of zone 32. Satellite images of the study area were acquired from the United States Geological Survey (USGS). The USGS uses the LandSat5 Thematic Mapper (TM) Landsat7 Thematic Mapper, Enhanced Thematic Mapper (ETM+), Thermal Infrared Sensor (TIRS) and Landsa8 Operational Land Imager (OLI) to generate high resolution images that are useful for this type of study. The satellite imageries were also analyzed using GIS and Remote Sensing techniques by computing of Normalized Differential Vegetation Index (NDVI) values for the entire study area by conversion of spectral reflectance values into NDVI values.<span> The satellite images covering the area were acquired and analyzed using ArcGIS10.6. Therefore, there is an interaction and mutual influence between dynamic changes of wetland landscape patterns and other land use classes.展开更多

Following the method of small parameters;the co-ordinates of collinear equilibrium points have been calculated, whereas the co-ordinates of triangular equilibrium points are established by classical method. On studying the surface of zero-velocity curves, it is found that the mass reduction factor has very minor effect on the location of the equilibrium points;whereas the oblateness parameter of the smaller primary has a significant role on the existence of equilibrium points.展开更多

The AYP living with HIV enrolled at the 68 NARHY, Lagos reflects the national challenges with poor viral suppression. The OTZ program aligns with the UNAIDS 95-95-95 goals. It seeks to empower AYPLHIV to be in charge of their treatment and commit to triple zero outcomeszero missed appointments, zero missed drugs, and zero viral loads. The purpose of the study was to assess the impact of the OTZ program on viral load suppression among members of the adolescent club in 68 NARHY, Lagos. Method: A cross-sectional retrospective study to evaluate the impact of the OTZ program on the viral load of 53 AYP enrolled in the OTZ program between March 2019 to December 2019 was analyzed. The Percentage of viral load suppression before enrollment compared with 6 and 12 months after enrollment into the OTZ program. The AYP is grouped into 10 - 14, 15 - 19, and 20 - 24 years. Activities conducted were peer driven monthly meetings with the AYP during which the adolescents interacted on issues relating to improving their treatment outcomes, healthcare workers reviewed their clinical status, viral load result, provider peer counseling, and caregivers engagement to support adherence to medication and ARV refills. Results: Before OTZ, 81% aged 10 - 14 years, 75% aged 15 - 19 years, and 25% aged 20 - 24 years were virally suppressed (VL less than 1000 copies/ml). Six months after enrollment, 94% were virally suppressed95% aged 10 - 14 years, 96% aged 15 - 19 years, and 66% aged 20-24 years. Twelve months after enrollment, 96% of AYP were virally suppressed100% aged 10-14 years, 93% aged 15 - 19 years, and 100% aged 20 - 24 years. Males viral load (VL) suppression improved from 79% to 96% and 92%, while females VL suppression improved from 69% to 93% and 100% at 6 and 12 months respectively. Conclusion: The OTZ activities contributed to improved viral load suppression in the AYP of the facility.展开更多

With the help of generating solutions, we formed a basis for the existence of periodic orbits, then an analytical approach given by Hassan et al. [1], was applied to our model of equilateral triangular configuration. It is found that in general solution also;the character of periodic orbits is conserved. For verification of the existence of periodic orbits, we have applied the criterion of Duboshin [2] and found satisfied.展开更多

For the existence of periodic orbits, Duboshin’s criterion [4] has been satisfied and it has been confirmed by analyzing the Poincare surfaces of section (PSS) [5]. Also it has been shown that the case of collision given by Levi-Civita [6] [7] is conserved by the method analytic continuation. In all sections of this manuscript, equilateral triangular configuration given by Ceccaroni and Biggs [8] has been considered. In this model, third primary of L4 inferior mass (in comparison of the other primaries) is placed at the equilibrium point of the R3BP.展开更多
