The simultaneous assessment of the i...A simple and rapid analytical method for the simultaneous quantification of three commercial azo dyes—Tartrazine (TAR), Congo Red (CR), and Amido Black (AB) in water is presented. The simultaneous assessment of the individual concentration of an organic dye in mixtures using a spectrophotometric method is a difficult procedure in analytical chemistry, due to spectral overlapping. This drawback can be overcome if a multivariate calibration method such as Partial Least Squares Regression (PLSR) is used. This study presents a calibration model based on absorption spectra in the 300 - 650 nm range for a set of 20 different mixtures of dyes, followed by the prediction of the concentrations of dyes in 6 validation mixtures, randomly selected, using the PLSR method. Estimated limits of detection (LOD) were 0.106, 0.047 and 0.079 mg/L for TAR, CR, and AB, respectively, and limits of quantification (LOQ) were 0.355, 0.157 and 0.265 mg/L for TAR, CR, and AB, respectively. Quantitative determination of the three azo dyes was performed following optimized adsorption experiments onto chitosan beads of mixtures of TAR, CR and AB. Adsorption isotherm and kinetic studies were carried out, proving that the proposed PLSR method is rapid, accurate and reliable.展开更多

The tools are efficient for a language, which has free or...Software tools are developed for computer realization of syntactic, semantic, and morphological models of natural language texts, using rule based programming. The tools are efficient for a language, which has free order of words and developed morphological structure like Georgian. For instance, a Georgian verb has several thousand verb-forms. It is very difficult to express rules of morphological analysis by finite automaton and it will be inefficient as well. Resolution of some problems of full morphological analysis of Georgian words is impossible by finite automaton. Splitting of some Georgian verb-forms into morphemes requires non-deterministic search algorithm, which needs many backtrackings. To minimize backtrackings, it is necessary to put constraints, which exist among morphemes and verify them as soon as possible to avoid false directions of search. Software tool for syntactic analysis has means to reduce rules, which have the same members in different order. The authors used the tool for semantic analysis as well. Thus, proposed software tools have many means to construct efficient parser, test and correct it. The authors realized morphological and syntactic analysis of Georgian texts by these tools. The element is a combination of a plate bending and membrane element. It is based on mixed interpolation where the bending and membrane stiffness matrices are calculated on the boundaries of the smoothing cells while the shear terms are approximated by independent interpolation functions in natural coordinates. The proposed element is robust, computationally inexpensive and free of locking. Since the integration is done on the element boundaries for the bending and membrane terms, the element is more accurate than the MITC4 element for distorted meshes. Commissioning of P/PI-cascade controlled servo axes with flexible load can be quite time consuming, if the step response based setup procedures are applied for the velocity controller as indicated by the automation sy...Commissioning of P/PI-cascade controlled servo axes with flexible load can be quite time consuming, if the step response based setup procedures are applied for the velocity controller as indicated by the automation systems manufacturers. Based on the drive frequency response, suitable rules of thumb with optimum velocity control damping performance are derived in this contribution that turned out to be very efficient in several dozen machine tool servo axis applications of different industrial partners in Switzerland and southern Germany. Anyway, single feedback loop velocity control sometimes provides insufficient damping of structural vibrations, especially for high dynamic machine tools or robots. The axis performance can be improved significantly by state space control extensions that are meanwhile available for commercial machine tool control systems. This contribution explains the state space control extension application with effective commissioning rules of thumb for typical machine tool axes as well as robot joint drives. The achievable benefit is elucidated by exemplary machine tool axes.展开更多
In this article,we develop the Laplace transform(LT)based Chebyshev spectral collocation method(CSCM)to approximate the time fractional advection-diffusion equation,incorporating the Atangana-Baleanu Caputo(ABC)deriva...In this article,we develop the Laplace transform(LT)based Chebyshev spectral collocation method(CSCM)to approximate the time fractional advection-diffusion equation,incorporating the Atangana-Baleanu Caputo(ABC)derivative.The advection-diffusion equation,which governs the transport of mass,heat,or energy through combined advection and diffusion processes,is central to modeling physical systems with nonlocal behavior.Our numerical scheme employs the LT to transform the time-dependent time-fractional PDEs into a time-independent PDE in LT domain,eliminating the need for classical time-stepping methods that often suffer from stability constraints.For spatial discretization,we employ the CSCM,where the solution is approximated using Lagrange interpolation polynomial based on the Chebyshev collocation nodes,achieving exponential convergence that outperforms the algebraic convergence rates of finite difference and finite element methods.Finally,the solution is reverted to the time domain using contour integration technique.We also establish the existence and uniqueness of the solution for the proposed problem.The performance,efficiency,and accuracy of the proposed method are validated through various fractional advection-diffusion problems.The computed results demonstrate that the proposed method has less computational cost and is highly accurate.展开更多

We aim to reconstruct a toy series, a...The three most widely used methods for reconstructing the underlying time series via the recurrence plots (RPs) of a dynamical system are compared with each other in this paper. We aim to reconstruct a toy series, a periodical series, a random series, and a chaotic series to compare the effectiveness of the most widely used typical methods in terms of signal correlation analysis. The application of the most effective algorithm to the typical chaotic Lorenz system verifies the correctness of such an effective algorithm. It is verified that, based on the unthresholded RPs, one can reconstruct the original attractor by choosing different RP thresholds based on the Hirata algorithm. It is shown that, in real applications, it is possible to reconstruct the underlying dynamics by using quite little information from observations of real dynamical systems. Moreover, rules of the threshold chosen in the algorithm are also suggested.展开更多

文摘In this paper we prove the existence and uniqueness of a weak solution for a dynamic electo-viscoetastic problem that describes a contact between a body and a foundation. We assume the body is made from thermoviscoelastic material and consider nonmonotone boundary conditions for the contact. We use recent results from the theory of hemivariational inequalities and the fixed point theory.
