Comparing with vitrinite reflectance (Ro/%), the OP features a dynamic range and can indicate the oil generation window more precisely. By using OP and other geochemical indices, the oil-source correlation is also conducted. It suggests that the oils in wells M1 and M2 are derived from the source rocks in situ. The mudstone in Huachang uplift is not the main source rocks for oils in this area, The OP is also a useful oil-source correlation parameter in some Tertiary lacustrine basins.展开更多

Two types of solid bitumens were recognized: low sulfur content, low reflectance (LSLR) solid bitumens in sandstone reservoirs in the Xujiahe Formation and high sulfur content, high reflectance (HSHR) solid bitumens in the carbonate reservoirs in the Lower Triassic Feixianguan and Upper Permian Changxing formations. Solid bitumens in the Upper Triassic Xujiahe Formation correlate well with extracts from the Upper Triassic to Jurassic nonmarine source rocks in isotopic composition of the saturated and aromatic fractions and biomarker distribution. Solid bitumens in the Feixianguan and Changxing formations are distinctly different from extracts from the Cambrian and Silurian rocks but display reasonable correlation with extracts from the Upper Permian source rocks both in isotopic composition of the saturated and aromatic fractions and in biomarker distribution, suggesting that the Permian especially the Upper Permian Longtan Formation was the main source of solid bitumens in the carbonate reservoirs in the Feixianguan and Changxing formations in the Puguang gas field. Chemical and isotopic composition of natural gases indicates that the majority of hydrocarbon gases originated from sapropelic organic matter and was the products of thermal cracking of accumulated oils. This study indicates that source rock dominated by sapropelic organic matter existed in the Upper Permian and had made major contribution to the giant Puguang gas field, which has important implication for petroleum exploration in marine sequences in South China.展开更多

The fluid conduit system at the time of intensive oil accumulation in the field was reconstructed, and petroleum migration pathways were modeled using a 3-D model and traced by geochemical parameters. The forward modeling and inversion tracing coincided with each other and both indicated that oils accumulated in the Puguang-Dongyuezhai structure originated from a generative kitchen to the northwest of the Puguang gas field. The deposition of organic-rich Upper Permian source rocks dominated by sapropelic organic matter in the Northeast Sichuan Basin, the development of fluid conduit system that was vertically near-source rock and laterally near-generative kitchen, and the focusing of oils originated from a large area of the generative kitchen, were the three requirements for the formation of the giant paleo-oil reservoir from which the giant Puguang gas field evolved. The Puguang gas field had experienced a three-stage evolution. The post-accumulation processes, especially the organic-inorganic interaction in the hydrocarbon-water-rock system, had not only profoundly altered the composition and characteristics of the petroleum fluids, but also obviously changed the physicochemical conditions in the reservoir and resulted in complicated precipitation and solution of carbonate minerals.展开更多

Three tectono-stratigraphic sequences can be identified according to detachment layers of Lower-Middle Triassic salt beds in the northern Sichuan Basin, i.e. the sub-salt sequence composed of Sinian to the Lower Triassic Feixianguan Formation, the salt sequence of the Lower Triassic Jialingjiang Formation and Mid-Triassic Leikoupou Formation, and the supra-salt sequence composed of continental clastics of the Upper-Triassic Xujiahe Formation, Jurassic and Cretaceous. A series of specific structural styles, such as intensively deformed belt of basement-involved imbricated thrust belt, basement-involved and salt-detached superimposed deformed belt, buried salt-related detached belt, duplex, piling triangle zone and pop-up, developed in the northern Sichuan Basin. The relatively thin salt beds, associated with the structural deformation of the northern Sichuan Basin, might act as a large decollement layer. The deformation mechanisms in the northern Sichuan Basin included regional compression and shortening, plastic flow and detachment, tectonic upwelling and erosion, gravitational sliding and spreading. The source rocks in the northern Sichuan Basin are strata underlying the salt layer, such as the Cambrian, Silurian and Permian. The structural deformation related to the Triassic salt controlled the styles of traps for hydrocarbon. The formation and development of hydrocarbon traps in the northern Sichuan Basin might have a bearing upon the Lower-Middle Triassic salt sequences which were favorable to the hydrocarbon accumulation and preservation. The salt layers in the Lower-Middle Triassic formed the main cap rocks and are favorable for the accumulation and preservation of hydrocarbon.展开更多

All oils from this area are geochemically characterized by higher Pr/Ph ratio, higher proportion of heavy molecular weight hydrocarbons, and higher proportion of C29 regular steranes, which indicate that the organic matter of source rocks might have been deposited in an oxidizing palaeoenvironment and be dominated by higher plant organic matter input. The oil from E3w2 (the second member of Weizhou Fro. of the Oligocene) has a much higher density, relatively higher Pr/nC17 and Ph/nC18 ratios, and a "UCM--unresolved complex mixture" on gas chromatograms, which indicate that it has been slightly biodegraded. CPI and other terpane and sterane isomer ratios suggest they are all mature oils. The timing of oil charging in E3w2 and E2I1 (the first member of the Liushagang Fro. of the Eocene) determined by the homogenization temperatures of fluid inclusions and thermal evolution history are from 9-3 Ma and 8-3 Ma, respectively. Thus, the interpretation of E3w2 as a secondary reservoir is unlikely. The timing of oil charging is later than that of hydrocarbon generating and expulsion of Liushagang Fin. source rocks and trap formation, which is favorable for oil accumulation in this area. All molecular parameters that are used for tracing oil filling direction decrease with shallower burial depth, which suggests vertical oil migration. The widely occurring faults that penetrate through the source rocks of the Liushagang Fro. may serve as a fine oil charging conduit.展开更多

As a result, some commonly-used sterane, terpane and carbazole migration parameters in conventional oil reservoirs may have a certain limitation in condensate and light oil reservoirs for their poor signal-noise ratios in the gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS). Naphthalene, phenanthrene and their methylated substituents, however, are present in significant concentrations in condensates and light oils. Taking the Fushan depression (in the Beibuwan Basin, Northern South China Sea) as an example, this paper attempts for the first time to use polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (PAH)-related parameters to trace migration directions and filling pathways for condensate and light oil reservoirs. The result shows that TMNr (i.e. 1, 3, 7-TMN/(1, 3, 7-TMN + 1, 2, 5-TMN), TMN: trimethylnaphthalene)), MPI-1 (i.e. 1.5×(2-MP + 3-MP)/(P + 1-MP + 9-MP), P: phenanthrene MP: methyiphenanthrene), MN/DMN (∑methylnaphthalene/∑dimethylnaphthalene, %) and MN/TMN (∑nethylnaphthalene/∑trimethylna- phthalene, %) can be used to trace the filling pathways of condensate and light oil reservoirs. These parameters, together with geological consideration and other bulk oil properties (e.g. the gas to oil ratio and density), suggest that the condensates and light oils in the Huachang oil and gas field are mainly sourced from the Bailian sag that is located to the northeast of the Huachang uplift in the Fushan depression.展开更多

文摘The ultra-deep(deeper than 8000 m)petroleum in the platform-basin zones of the Tarim Basin has been found mainly in the Lower Paleozoic reservoirs located to the east of the strike-slip fault F5 in the north depression. However, the source and exploration potential of the ultra-deep petroleum in the Cambrian on the west of F5 are still unclear.Through the analysis of lithofacies and biomarkers,it is revealed that there are at least three kinds of isochronous source rocks(SRs)in the Cambrian Newfoundland Series in Tarim Basin, which were deposited in three sedimentary environments,i.e.sulfide slope,deep-water shelf and restricted bay.In 2024,Well XT-1 in the western part of northern Tarim Basin has yielded a high production of condensate from the Cambrian. In the produced oil, entire aryl-isoprenoid alkane biomarkers were detected, but triaromatic dinosterane was absent. This finding is well consistent with the geochemical characteristics of the Newfoundland sulfidized slope SRs represented by those in wells LT-1 and QT-1,suggesting that the Newfoundland SRs are the main source of the Cambrian petroleum discovered in Well XT-1.Cambrian crude oil of Well XT-1 also presents the predominance of C29 steranes and is rich in long-chain tricyclic terpanes(up to C39),which can be the indicators for effectively distinguishing lithofacies such as siliceous mudstone and carbonate rock.Combined with the analysis of hydrocarbon accumulation in respect of conduction systems including thrust fault and strike-slip fault,it is found that the area to the west of F5 is possible to receive effective supply of hydrocarbons from the Cambrian Newfoundland SRs in Manxi hydrocarbon-generation center. This finding suggests that the area to the west of F5 will be a new target of exploration in the Cambrian ultra-deep structural-lithologic reservoirs in the Tarim Basin,in addition to the Cambrian ultra-deep platform-margin facies-controlled reservoirs in the eastern part of the basin.

文摘By integrating core observations, logging data and seismic interpretation, this study takes the massive Cretaceous carbonates in the M block of the Santos Basin,Brazil,as an example to establish the sequence filling pattern of fault-bounded isolated platforms in rift lake basins, reveal the control mechanisms of shoal-body development and reservoir formation, and reconstruct the evolutionary history of lithofacies paleogeography. The following results are obtained.(1)Three tertiary sequences(SQ1-SQ3)are identified in the Lower Cretaceous Itapema-Barra Velha of the M block.During the depositional period of SQ1,the rift basement faults controlled the stratigraphic distribution pattern of thick on both sides and thin in the middle. The strata overlapped to uplift in the early stage.During the depositional period of SQ2-SQ3,the synsedimentary faults controlled the paleogeomorphic reworking process with subsidence in the northwest and uplifting in the northeast, accompanied with the relative fall of lake level.(2)The Lower Cretaceous in the M block was deposited in a littoral-shallow lake, with the lithofacies paleogeographic pattern transiting from the inner clastic shoals and outer shelly shoals in SQ1 to the alternation of mounds and shoals in SQ2-SQ3.(3)Under the joint control of relative lake-level fluctuation, synsedimentary faults and volcanic activity, the shelly shoals in SQ1 tend to accumulated vertically in the raised area, and the mound-shoal complex in SQ2-SQ3 tends to migrate laterally towards the slope-break belt due to the reduction of accommodation space.(4)The evolution pattern of high-energy mounds and shoals, which were vertically accumulated in the early stage and laterally migrated in the later stage, controlled the transformation of high-quality reservoirs from“centralized”to“ring shaped”distribution. The research findings clarify the sedimentary patterns of mounds and shoals and the distribution of favorable reservoirs in the fault-controlled lacustrine isolated platform, providing support for the deepwater hydrocarbon exploration in the subsalt carbonate rocks in the Santos Basin.

文摘The oceans'vast expanse has given rise to copious oil and gas resources, with recent years witnessing a steady unlocking of offshore oil and gas potential, positioning them as a key successor in global energy reserves.Currently, offshore oil and gas extraction constitutes nearly a third of the world's oil and gas output. This segment has evolved into a mutually beneficial ecosystem where operators and service providers collaborate closely around exploration and development activities.Investment in offshore oil and gas typically follows a dual "one-third’"pattern,reflecting high upfront costs but promising returns. It also underscores the stark variations in project viability and regional economic efficiency, with monopolistic traits seen at both national and corporate levels.Collaboration has emerged as a key tactic for resource-rich countries and oil companies to advance their offshore ventures.Given the distinct nature of offshore oil and gas development,Chinese oil companies are advised to seize opportunities in marine exploration, emphasize the coordination and planning abilities of the global supply chain, focus on the reserves of offshore oil and gas development technologies,as well as the capabilities of commercial talents and other forms of support, courageously pursue significant offshore assets, and effectively utilize global technology, equipment, and expertise, and rapidly build a competitive edge in offshore oil and gas projects.
文摘In the mid-21st century, natural gas will enter its golden age,and the era of natural gas is arriving. This paper reviews the development stages of global natural gas industry and the enlightenment of American shale gas revolution, summarizes the development history and achievements of the natural gas industry in China, analyzes the status and challenges of natural gas in the green and low-carbon energy transition, and puts forward the natural gas industry development strategies under carbon neutral target in China. The natural gas industry in China has experienced three periods:start, growth, and leap forward. At present,China has become the fourth largest natural gas producer and third largest natural gas consumer in the world, and has made great achievements in natural gas exploration and development theory and technology, providing important support for the growth of production and reserves.China has set its goal of carbon neutrality to promote green and sustainable development, which brings opportunities and challenges for natural gas industry.Natural gas has significant low-carbon advantages, and gas-electric peak shaving boosts new energy development;the difficulty and cost of development are more prominent. For the national energy security and harmonious development between economy and ecology under the carbon neutral goal, based on the principle of"comprehensive planning, technological innovation,multi-energy complementarity, diversified integration, flexibility and efficiency, optimization and upgrading",the construction of the production-supplystorage-marketing system has to be improved so as to boost the development of the natural gas industry.First,it is necessary to strengthen efforts in the exploration and development of natural gas, making projects and arrangement in key exploration and development areas, meanwhile,it is urgent to make breakthroughs in key science theories and technologies,so as to increase reserve and production.Second,it should promote green and innovative development of the natural gas by developing new techniques, expanding new fields and integrating with new energy.Third, there is a demand to realize transformation and upgrading of the supply and demand structure of natural gas by strengthening the layout of pipeline gas, liquefied natural gas and the construction of underground gas storage, establishing reserve system for improving abilities of emergency response and adjustment, raising the proportion of natural gas in the primary energy consumption and contributing to the transformation of energy consumption structure, realizing low-carbon resources utilization and clean energy consumption.

文摘The Fushan Depression is one of the petroliferous depressions in the Beibuwan Basin,South China Sea.Previous studies have preliminarily explored the origin and source of crude oils in some areas of this depression.Nevertheless,no systematic investigations on the classification and origin of oils and hy-drocarbon migration processes have been made for the entire petroleum system in this depression, which has significantly hindered the hydrocarbon exploration in the region.A total of 32 mudstone and 58 oil samples from the Fushan Depression were analyzed to definite the detailed oil-source correlation within the sequence and sedimentary framework. The organic matter of third member of Paleogene Liushagang Formation(Els(3))source rocks, both deltaic and lacustrine mudstone, are algal-dominated with high abundance of C_(23)tricyclic terpane and C_(30)4-methylsteranes.The deltaic source rocks occur-ring in the first member(Els_(1))and second member(Els_(2))of the Paleogene Liushagang Formation are characterized by high abundance of C_(19+20)tricyclic terpane and oleanane, reflecting a more terrestrial plants contribution. While lacustrine source rocks of Els_(1)and Els_(2)display the reduced input of terrige-nous organic matter with relatively low abundance of C 19+20 tricyclic terpane and oleanane.Three types of oils were identified by their biomarker compositions in this study. Most of the oils discovered in the Huachang and Bailian Els_(1)reservoir belong to group A and were derived from lacustrine source rocks of Els_(1)and Els_(2).Group B oils are found within the Els_(1)and Els_(2)reservoirs,showing a close relation to the deltaic source rocks of Els_(1)and Els_(2),respectively.Group C oils, occurring in the Els3 reservoirs, have a good affinity with the Els3 source rocks. The spatial distribution and accumulation of different groups of oils are mainly controlled by the sedimentary facies and specific structural conditions. The Els_(2)reservoir in the Yong'an area belonging to Group B oil,are adjacent to the source kitchen and could be considered as the favorable exploration area in the future.

文摘By systematically reviewing the development status of global carbon dioxide capture, utilization and storage(CCUS)cluster, and comparing domestic and international CCUS industrial models and successful experiences, this study explores the challenges and strategies for the scaled development of the CCUS industry of China.Globally, the CCUS industry has entered a phase of scaled and clustered development.North America has established a system of key technologies in large-scale CO_(2) capture,long-distance pipeline transmission, pipeline network optimization, and large-scale CO_(2) flooding for enhanced oil recovery(CO_(2)-EOR),with relatively mature cluster development and a gradual shift in industrial model from CO_(2)-EOR to geological storage. The CCUS industry of China has developed rapidly across all segments but remains in the early stage of cluster development, facing challenges such as absent business model, insufficient policy support, and technological gaps in core areas.China needs to improve the policy support system to boost enterprises participation across the entire industrial chain, strengthen top-level design and medium-to long-term planning to accelerate demonstration projects construction for whole-process CCUS clusters, advance for a full-chain technological system, including low-cost capture, pipeline optimization and EOR/storage integration technologies, and strengthen personnel training, strengthen discipline construction and university-enterprise research cooperation.

文摘Natural gas hydrates, intricate crystalline structures formed by water molecules and small gas molecules, have emerged as a significant and globally impactful clean energy resource. However, their commercial exploitation faces challenges, particularly operational disruptions caused by sand-related blockages.Understanding the rheological properties of hydrate slurry, especially in the presence of micron-sized sand particles,is imperative for ensuring the flow assurance of subsea hydrate exploitation. This study extensively investigates the rheological properties of sand-containing hydrate slurries. The findings reveal that these slurries exhibit non-Newtonian fluid characteristics, including yield stress, thixotropy, and shear-thinning behavior.Solid-like elastic features are observed in sand-containing hydrate slurries before yielding, transitioning to viscous behavior after yielding.Even with a minimal amount of sand, both static yield stress and yield strain experience substantial changes, correlating with the increase in sand concentration. The research conclusively establishes the thixotropic nature of sand-hydrate slurries, where the viscosity decay rate is directly influenced by the shear rate. These insights aim to contribute comprehensively to the development of effective flow assurance strategies, ensuring the safe and stable operation of subsea hydrate exploitation.

文摘In 1993,responding to the national call,Chinese Oil Companies(COCs)started their“Going global”.In this paper, the overseas oil and gas exploration and development activities carried out by COCs in the past 29 years have been divided into four stages:initiation, growth, expansion, and optimization.Nowadays,COCs are operating(including onshore,deep-water,conventional and unconventional resources)all over the world, especially in six oil and gas cooperation regions, becoming as vital players in the international petroleum sector.During overseas operations,COCs acquired a number of large oil and gas fields through M&As and consolidated China’s reserve base as a response to the Belt and Road Initiative.Overseas oil and gas exploration and development of COCs has become an important safeguard for China’s national energy security in the context of rising dependence on foreign oil and gas.Nevertheless,COCs need to summarize the experience and lessons of“Going global”,and improve their overseas oil and gas operations depending on the latest global situation,so as to realize a longer-term development.

文摘This study introduces a novel method integrating CO_(2)flooding with radial borehole fracturing for enhanced oil recovery and CO_(2)underground storage,a solution to the limited vertical stimulation reservoir volume in horizontal well fracturing.A numerical model is established to investigate the production rate, reservoir pressure field, and CO_(2)saturation distribution corresponding to changing time of CO_(2)flooding with radial borehole fracturing.A sensitivity analysis on the influence of CO_(2)injection location, layer spacing, pressure difference, borehole number, and hydraulic fractures on oil production and CO_(2)storage is conducted. The CO_(2)flooding process is divided into four stages.Reductions in layer spacing will significantly improve oil production rate and gas storage capacity. However, serious gas channeling can occur when the spacing is lower than 20 m.Increasing the pressure difference between the producer and injector, the borehole number, the hydraulic fracture height, and the fracture width can also increase the oil production rate and gas storage rate.Sensitivity analysis shows that layer spacing and fracture height greatly influence gas storage and oil production.Research outcomes are expected to provide a theoretical basis for the efficient development of shale oil reservoirs in the vertical direction.

文摘The Lower Cretaceous Manville Group of Upper Mc Murray Formation is one of the main bitumen reservoirs in Athabasca. In this study, the relationship between reservoirs heterogeneity and bitumen geochemical characteristics were analyzed through core and microscopic observation, lab analysis, petrophysics and logging data.Based on the sedimentology framework, the formation environment of high-quality oil sand reservoirs and their significance for development were discussed. The results indicate that four types lithofacies were recognized in the Upper Mc Murray Formation based on their depositional characteristics. Each lithofacies reservoirs has unique physical properties, and is subject to varying degrees of degradation, resulting in diversity of bitumen content and geochemical composition. The tidal bar(TB)or tidal channel(TC)facies reservoir have excellent physical properties, which are evaluated as gas or water intervals due to strong degradation. The reservoir of sand bar(SB)facies was evaluated as oil intervals, due to its poor physical properties and weak degradation. The reservoir of mixed flat(MF)facies is composed of sand intercalated with laminated shale, which is evaluated as poor oil intervals due to its poor connectivity. The shale content in oil sand reservoir is very important for the reservoir physical properties and bitumen degradation degree. In the context of regional biodegradation, oil sand reservoirs with good physical properties will suffer from strong degradation, while oil sand reservoirs with relatively poor physical properties are more conducive to the bitumen preservation.
文摘Using the typical characteristics of multi-layered marine and continental transitional gas reservoirs as a basis,a model is developed to predict the related well production rate. This model relies on the fractal theory of tortuous capillary bundles and can take into account multiple gas flow mechanisms at the micrometer and nanometer scales,as well as the flow characteristics in different types of thin layers(tight sandstone gas, shale gas,and coalbed gas). Moreover,a source-sink function concept and a pressure drop superposition principle are utilized to introduce a coupled flow model in the reservoir.A semi-analytical solution for the production rate is obtained using a matrix iteration method.A specific well is selected for fitting dynamic production data, and the calculation results show that the tight sandstone has the highest gas production per unit thickness compared with the other types of reservoirs. Moreover, desorption and diffusion of coalbed gas and shale gas can significantly contribute to gas production, and the daily production of these two gases decreases rapidly with decreasing reservoir pressure.Interestingly, the gas production from fractures exhibits an approximately U-shaped distribution, indicating the need to optimize the spacing between clusters during hydraulic fracturing to reduce the area of overlapping fracture control. The coal matrix water saturation significantly affects the coalbed gas production, with higher water saturation leading to lower production.

文摘This study aims to elucidate the dynamic evolution mechanism of the fracturing fracture system during the exploration and development of complex oil and gas reservoirs.By integrating methods of rock mechanical testing, logging calculation, and seismic inversion technology,we obtained the current insitu stress characteristics of a single well and rock mechanical parameters.Simultaneously, significant controlling factors of rock mechanical properties were analyzed.Subsequently,by coupling hydraulic fracturing physical experiments with finite element numerical simulation, three different fracturing models were configured:single-cluster,double-cluster,and triple-cluster perforations.Combined with acoustic emission technology, the fracture initiation mode and evolution characteristics during the loading process were determined. The results indicate the following findings:(1)The extension direction and length of the fracture are significantly controlled by the direction of the maximum horizontal principal stress.(2)Areas with poor cementation and compactness exhibit complex fracture morphology, prone to generating network fractures.(3)The interlayer development of fracturing fractures is controlled by the strata occurrence.(4)Increasing the displacement of fracturing fluid enlarges the fracturing fracture length and height. This research provides theoretical support and effective guidance for hydraulic fracturing design in tight oil and gas reservoirs.

文摘The oleanane parameter, i.e., OP (oleananes/(oleananes+C30hopanes)) in the two sedimentary columns of the Beibuwan Basin, South China Sea, can be used to delimit the top of oil generation window, with Ro (/%) of 0.53 in Well M1 and 0.55 in Wells H1/Hd1/Hd2, respectively. The mudstone in Huachang uplift is not the main source rocks for oils in this area, The OP is also a useful oil-source correlation parameter in some Tertiary lacustrine basins.
文摘Detailed geochemistry studies were conducted to investigate the origin of solid bitumens and hydrocarbon gases in the giant Puguang gas field. This study indicates that source rock dominated by sapropelic organic matter existed in the Upper Permian and had made major contribution to the giant Puguang gas field, which has important implication for petroleum exploration in marine sequences in South China.

文摘Pore structure characterization and its effect on methane adsorption on shale kerogen are crucial to understanding the fundamental mechanisms of gas storage, transport, and reserves evaluation. In this study,we use 3D scanning confocal microscopy, scanning electron microscopy(SEM),X-ray nano-computed tomography(nano-CT),and low-pressure N2 adsorption analysis to analyze the pore structures of the shale.Additionally, the adsorption behavior of methane on shales with different pore structures is investigated by molecular simulations. The results show that the SEM image of the shale sample obviously displays four different pore shapes, including slit pore, square pore, triangle pore, and circle pore. The average coordination number is 4.21 and the distribution of coordination numbers demonstrates that pores in the shale have high connectivity.Compared with the adsorption capacity of methane on triangle pores, the adsorption capacity on slit pore, square pore, and circle pore are reduced by 9.86%,8.55%,and 6.12%,respectively.With increasing pressure, these acute wedges fill in a manner different from the right or obtuse angles in the other pores. This study offers a quantitative understanding of the effect of pore structure on methane adsorption in the shale and provides better insight into the evaluation of gas storage in geologic shale reservoirs.

文摘Tectonic uplift at the end of Sinian resulted in the denudation of the Dengying (灯影) Formation on a different scale and the development of a great number of secondary dissolution vugs beneath the unconformity between Sinian and Cambrian.Geological and geochemical characteristics such as the development of caves, sinkholes, karst tubes and weathering crust, abrupt depletion and negative deflection of δ13C and δ18O in country rock and vug filling toward unconformity surface suggest that subaerial karstification is responsible for the development of secondary karst vugs within 150 m or so beneath the unconformity surface. This kind of secondary dissolution vug was partially or completely filled by different stage dolomite, calcite, quartz and bitumen during the later deep burial and uplift.Facts such as the obvious difference in δ13C and δ18O of the filling in the subaerial karst vug from the country rock and the value of δ13C and δ18O of the filling increasing or decreasing with that of the country rocks, suggest that the hydrothermal fluid charged in vugs is allogenic fluid.Subaerial karstification vug acted as a conduit for allogenic corrosive fluid which can create new secondary vugs and enlarge previous karst vugs. The dissolution, precipitant and recrystallization produced by allogenic corrosive fluid introduction and petroleum thermal cracking, caused contraction or enlargement of the subaerial karstification vugs and the development of new secondary vugs during the deep burial and uplift. The ultimate vug of deep burial dolomitite is determined not only by fluid charge, dissolution, mineral precipitant, and petroleum thermal cracking during the deep burial and tectonic uplift, but also by the amount of initial secondary dissolution vugs created by subaerial karstification.

文摘Solid bitumens were found throughout the carbonate reservoirs in the Puguang gas field, the largest gas field so far found in marine carbonates in China, confirming that the Puguang gas field evolved from a paleo-oil reservoir. The post-accumulation processes, especially the organic-inorganic interaction in the hydrocarbon-water-rock system, had not only profoundly altered the composition and characteristics of the petroleum fluids, but also obviously changed the physicochemical conditions in the reservoir and resulted in complicated precipitation and solution of carbonate minerals.

文摘The Triassic Jialingjiang Formation and Leikoupo Formation are characterized by thick salt layers. The salt layers in the Lower-Middle Triassic formed the main cap rocks and are favorable for the accumulation and preservation of hydrocarbon.

文摘The Yong'an-Meitai area is the focus of the present exploration in the Fushan Depression, Beibuwan Basin, South China Sea. The widely occurring faults that penetrate through the source rocks of the Liushagang Fro. may serve as a fine oil charging conduit.

文摘Condensates and light oils are generally characterized by high maturity, low concentration of sterane and terpane biomarkers and low content of non-hydrocarbon fraction. These parameters, together with geological consideration and other bulk oil properties (e.g. the gas to oil ratio and density), suggest that the condensates and light oils in the Huachang oil and gas field are mainly sourced from the Bailian sag that is located to the northeast of the Huachang uplift in the Fushan depression.
