This paper proposes an extension of the Modified-Plant ADRC(MP-ADRC)strategy to broaden its application to minimum phase dynamical systems. The main features of the MP-ADRC method are the inclusion of a constant gain in series with the plant output error and a linear filter in parallel with the overall error system. These structural changes do not influence the input/output dynamics of the original plant, but are intentionally introduced to modify the dynamics to be estimated by the extended state observer(ESO)and, thus, promote an increase in the robustness of the method. Some advantages can also be attributed to the proposed methodology, such as(i)the design procedures of both the controller and the ESO only require knowledge of the sign(±)of the plant input channel coefficient(or control gain);(ii)the plant control input is generated directly by a single ESO state variable.Despite the advantages and the characteristics of MP-ADRC mentioned earlier,closed-loop stability cannot be guaranteed when it is applied to dynamical systems that have finite zeros. To overcome this difficulty, this work introduces an extension in the MP-ADRC method. It basically consists of rewriting the minimum phase plant dynamics according to its relative order, and then follows with the design of the ESO by conveniently increasing the number of ESO state variables. The simulation results are also presented to illustrate the application of the proposed method. 展开更多

The extra-large scale multiple-input multiple-output(XL-MIMO)for the beyond fifth/sixth generation mobile communications is a promising technology to provide Tbps data transmission and stable access service. However, the extremely large antenna array aperture arouses the channel near-field effect, resulting in the deteriorated data rate and other challenges in the practice communication systems.Meanwhile,multi-panel MIMO technology has attracted extensive attention due to its flexible configuration, low hardware cost, and wider coverage.By combining the XL-MIMO and multi-panel array structure,we construct multi-panel XL-MIMO and apply it to massive Internet of Things(IoT)access.First,we model the multi-panel XL-MIMO-based near-field channels for massive IoT access scenarios, where the electromagnetic waves corresponding to different panels have different angles of arrival/departure(AoAs/AoDs).Then,by exploiting the sparsity of the near-field massive IoT access channels,we formulate a compressed sensing based joint active user detection(AUD)and channel estimation(CE)problem which is solved by AMP-EM-MMV algorithm. The simulation results exhibit the superiority of the AMP-EM-MMV based joint AUD and CE scheme over the baseline algorithms. 展开更多

It is due to the need to ensure the security and integrity of equipment, that the non-destructive tests have been increasingly used in the industrial sector. Among these, the ultrasonic pulse echo technique is the most used in industry, mainly for its simplicity and efficiency. With one transducer only, it is possible to emit the ultrasonic and receive the echo pulse. The ANNs (artificial neural networks) are artificial intelligence techniques that, when properly trained, align themselves to inspection tests becoming a powerful tool in the detection and fault identification. In this work, the echo pulse technique was used to detect discontinuities in welds, where ANNs were fed from the information obtained by digital signal processing techniques (Fourier transform), to identify and classify three distinct classes of defects. Results showed that with the combination of feature extraction by Fourier transformation and classification with neural networks, it is possible to obtain an automatic defect detection system in welded joints with average efficiency. 展开更多

In terms of planning aspect, nuclear power plant(NPP)development needs analyses, consideration, and right decision making due to multi criteria involved. This study prioritizes the best site development of Indonesian NPPs in terms of 21 social, economic, and technical perspectives which comprise transmission network,oper-ating cost, economic impact, geology, geotechnic, seismology, population density, environment, cooling water, meteorology, hydrology, proximity to hazardous facilities, topography, land use, proximity to wetland,evacu-ation route, security, transportation network, legal consideration, impact of tourism, land ownership, historical places, and public acceptance, all identified to be considerations for the best sites. Two Fuzzy algorithms(Chang’s Extent Analysis and Buckley’s Fuzzy AHP)were used to determine the criteria priorities as well as NPP site feasibility of two locations in Indonesia. The results found that geology, geotechnic, and seismology(SA1);security(SO1),population density(SA2),environment(SA3),and cooling water(SA4)had the highest priorities among the 21 criteria.Based on the 5 top priority criteria,West Kalimantan and East Kalimantan provinces serve as the best candidates for the NPP sites.Such an innovative and novel multi criteria Fuzzy AHP–based decision making(MCDM)approach has been proven to become a useful reference to select NPP sites in Indonesia. 展开更多
