Firstly, thecontinuous attributes in diagnosis decision system are discretized with the self-organizing map(SOM) neural network. Then, dynamic reducts are computed based on rough set method, and the keyconditions for diagnosis are found according to the maximum cluster ratio. Lastly, according to theoptimal reduct, the adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system (ANFIS) is designed for faultidentification. By applying some additional signa...An on line self-testing for Coriolis vibratory gyroscopes (CVGs) is realized according to a digital readout electronics for capacitive sensors and micro-machined angular rate sensors. By applying some additional signals to the micro machined structure, the actual noise performance (<0.1°/s) is not worsened. The running of the primary and the secondary oscillators of CVGs is verified by self-testing. Compared with other methods, the device needs not to check the functionality. In this new approach the on-line testing is conducted at any time without disturbing the normal operational mode. Based on the approach the performance of the micro machined gyroscope can be improved and a secure availability of the functionality of the micro-machined angular rate sensor is guaranteed. Furthermore, the error signal is generated when the sensor works incorrectly.展开更多

The maximum measurement velocity of the interferometer utilizing DLABF can be up to 1.8 m/s.Generally the outputs of the DLABF in a transverse magnetic field are two orthogonalmicro-elliptical polarized components when DLABF can emit dual-frequency laser. When the laser tubeis spun in the magnetic field, the ellipticities of these two components are also changed. In somecertain relative angles, the outputs the DLABF are two almost ideally orthogonal linear polarizedcomponents. The frequency stabilization of DLABF is also discussed. The maximum variation of thebeat-frequency of the stabilized DLABF can be 0.15 kHz within 46 h. As no quarter wave plate (QWP)needed, DLABFs have better thermal stability than longitudinal Zeeman lasers.展开更多

Based on the established theoretical model, material removal function and removal rate experiments involving a K9 glass mirror are designed and carried out. Further experiments are carried out to improve the surface roughness of the workpiece. The final surface roughness with an initial value of 17.58 nm reached 0.4351 nm rms after 35 min of deterministic MRF, and the AFM measurements on microstructures of the polished surface are also improved by 0.445 nm rms without obvious defects.展开更多

Results show that the modified nanodiamond is more stable in t...Mechanochemical Modification (MCM) of nanodiamond surface with DN-10 was studied in relation to the performance of nanodiamond in polishing quartz wafers. Results show that the modified nanodiamond is more stable in the pH range 8~11. A super smooth surface with an average roughness of 0.214 nm was achieved using a nanodia-mond-based slurry regulated by N-(2-hydroxyethyl)ethylenediamine. It is suggested that the principal ultra-fine polishing mechanism of quartz wafer involves atom-level removal under the synergism of chemical and mechanical actions.展开更多
