The Jacobi elliptic function expansion method is extended to derive the explicit periodic wave solutions for nonlinear differential-difference equations. Three well-known examples are chosen to illustrate the application of the Jacobi elliptic function expansion method. As a result, three types of periodic wave solutions including Jacobi elliptic sine function, Jacobi elliptic cosine function and the third elliptic function solutions are obtained. It is shown that the shock wave solutions and solitary wave solutions can be obtained at their limit condition. 展开更多

The chloride ion contained in reinforced concrete seriously corrodes the steel surface and damages concrete, resulting in inferior reinforced concrete that strength seriously compromises the entire structure’s safety. Consequently, the examination of chloride ions contained in reinforced concrete becomes an important part of a complete quality control procedure. To effectively check the concentration of chloride ions in concrete, the evaluation process should be accurate and precise. Laboratory data ob- tained using existing evaluation methods for the examination of chloride ion are not sufficiently objective to yield reliable results with accuracy and consistency for each sample. An evaluation algorithm with capability to define indices of precision degree (Ep) and accuracy degree (Ea) is presented in this paper. The authors established a statistically reliable index of unbiased estimators and equations to critically examine the laboratory methods’ precision, accuracy degrees and application value for measuring chlorine ion concentration in reinforced concrete. 展开更多

The presented algebraic model in a limit corresponds to another model in recent literature. The vibrational spectrum of methane (CH4) measured recently with modern spectroscopy techniques is employed to test those models. The obtained standard deviation between the observed and the calculated vibrational energy levels in the algebraic model is smaller than that in the corresponding model. 展开更多

However, it may cause the security in danger as the userchanges his secret key; besides, some secret keys may be disclosed due to the unsuitable selectionof the security classes' identities. Thus, resolution of con-flicts frequently relies on some form of negotiation. Thispaper presents a general problem-solving framework for modeling multi-issue multilateral negotiationusing fuzzy constraints. Agent negotiation is formulated as a distributed fuzzy constraintsatisfaction problem (DFCSP). Fuzzy constrains are thus used to naturally represent each agent''sdesires involving imprecision and human conceptualization, particularly when lexical imprecision andsubjective matters are concerned. On the other hand, based on fuzzy constraint-basedproblem-solving, our approach enables an agent not only to systematically relax fuzzy constraints togenerate a proposal, but also to employ fuzzy similarity to select the alternative that is subjectto its acceptability by the opponents. This task of problem-solving is to reach an agreement thatbenefits all agents with a high satisfaction degree of fuzzy constraints, and move towards the dealmore quickly since their search focuses only on the feasible solution space. An application tomultilateral negotiation of a travel planning is provided to demonstrate the usefulness andeffectiveness of our framework. 展开更多
