With it theexperiments are carried out to observe the emergence and the flowing of the cavitations in thepiezoelectric pumps. According to the statistic and the analysis to the data of the experiments, thepeculiar features are discovered. These features are composed of balls-amassing, center-more, andflow-out.展开更多

Results show that topological correlation agrees with the models proposed by Blanc et al. and Weaire. Topological transformation occurs more often on grains with some topological classes instead of equal probability on each boundary. This can be qualitatively explained by topological correlation.展开更多

The melting processes with respect to the factors of thermal boundary conditions and particle sizes of basalt were simulated by using the numerical method (FDM). The governing equations were discretized in tridiagonal matrix form and were solved by using the tridiagonal matrix algorithm (TDMA) as well as the alternative direction implicit (ADI) solver. The temperature distribution, the moving law of the two dimensional phase-change boundaries, the thermal current distribution were given through the numerical simulation. The results provided a theoretical basis for deciding heating procedure, for evaluating power import and controlling furnace temperature and for predicting basalt melting states etc. In the experiment, an electrical furnace was designed based on the computations. It has been proved that the simulation results are reasonably coincident with the experimental data.展开更多

The objective of this study is to investigate the effects of . thenon-Newtonian properties of blood as well as curvature and out-of-plane geometry in the non-planardaughter vessels on the velocity distribution and wall shear stress. The results of this studysupport the view that the non-planarity of blood vessels and the non-Newtonian properties of bloodare of important in hemodynamics and play a significant role in vascular biology andpathophysiology.展开更多
