A user space model was constructed based...The main thrust of this paper is application of a novel data mining approach on the log of user' s feedback to improve web multimedia information retrieval performance. A user space model was constructed based on data mining, and then integrated into the original information space model to improve the accuracy of the new information space model. It can remove clutter and irrelevant text information and help to eliminate mismatch between the page author' s expression and the user' s understanding and expectation. User spacemodel was also utilized to discover the relationship between high-level and low-level features for assigning weight. The authors proposed improved Bayesian algorithm for data mining. Experiment proved that the au-thors' proposed algorithm was efficient.展开更多

This is an important issue facing organizations undertaking knowledge management initiatives. An XML-based and ontology-supported knowledge description language (KDL) is presented, which has three-tier structure (core KDL, extended KDL and complex KDL), and takes advantages of strong point of ontology, XML, description logics, frame-based systems. And then, the framework and XML based syntax of KDL are introduced, and the methods of translating KDL into first order logic (FOL) are presented. At last, the implementation of KDL on the Web is described, and the reasoning ability of KDL proved by experiment is illustrated in detail.展开更多

For any initial value X 0∈R n, the solution approximates asymptotically to zero vector. In this case, the real part of each eigenvalue of A is non positive. 2. For any initial value X 0 outside a proper subspace of R n, the solution approximates asymptotically to a nontrivial constant vector (X 0) . In this case, the eigenvalue of A with maximal real part is the positive number λ=‖(X 0)‖ 2 B and (X 0) is the corresponding eigenvector. 3. For any initial value X 0 outside a proper subspace of R n, the solution approximates asymptotically to a non constant periodic function (X 0,t) .
