The analysis is carried out for four different models of curvedleg geometries, which are combinations of convex and concave shapes. The models are classified as follows. Model-1: Seaside and leeside face concave, Model-2: Seaside and leeside face convex, Model-3: Seaside face convex and leeside face concave, and Model-4: Seaside face concave and leeside face convex. The Boundary Element Method is utilized in order to find a solution to the associated boundary value problem. The numerical results are validated against existing analytical and experimental data. Further, the study examines the wave reflection, wave transmission, and the hydrodynamic forces acting on the structure for different values of waves and structural parameters. Overall, the different dual curved-leg pontoon breakwaters are more effective, reducing wave transmission by over 15% and increasing wave reflection by more than 5% compared to traditional models. The study shows that the wave reflected by Model 1 significantly increased and attenuated the wave transmission relative to other models. The study found that the height of the curved-leg of Model 1 plays a critical role in blocking waves and redirecting the flow. More precisely, the present analysis concludes that the hydrodynamic performance of Model-1 presents an optimized breakwater design that outperforms the proposed models.展开更多

Then, we focus on giving the convergence of the one-point large deviations rate function (LDRF) of the spatial FDM, which is about the asymptotical limit of a parametric variational problem. The main idea for proving the convergence of the LDRF of the spatial FDM is via the Γ-convergence of objective functions. This relies on the qualitative analysis of skeleton equations of the original equation and the numerical method. In order to overcome the difficulty that the drift coefficient is not one-sided Lipschitz continuous, we derive the equivalent characterization of the skeleton equation of the spatial FDM and the discrete interpolation inequality to obtain the uniform boundedness of the solution to the underlying skeleton equation. These play important roles in deriving the T-convergence of objective functions.展开更多

文摘In this work, we first derive the one-point large deviations principle (LDP) for both the stochastic Cahn–Hilliard equation with small noise and its spatial finite difference method (FDM). These play important roles in deriving the T-convergence of objective functions.
文摘This study explores free convective heat transfer in an electrically conducting nanofluid flow over a moving semi-infinite flat plate under the influence of an induced magnetic field and viscous dissipation. The velocity and magnetic field vectors are aligned at a distance from the plate. The Spectral Relaxation Method(SRM)is used to numerically solve the coupled nonlinear partial differential equations, analyzing the effects of the Eckert number on heat and mass transfer.Various nanofluids containing Cu,Ag,Al_(2)O_(3),and TiO_(2) nanoparticles are examined to assess how external magnetic fields influence fluid behavior.Key parameters, including the nanoparticle volume fraction ϕ,magnetic parameter M,magnetic Prandtl number Prm,and Eckert number Ec,are evaluated for their impact on velocity, induced magnetic field, and heat transfer. Results indicate that increasing the magnetic parameter reduces velocity and magnetic field components in alumina-water nanofluids, while a higher nanoparticle volume fraction enhances the thermal boundary layer.Greater viscous dissipation(Ec)increases temperature, and Al_(2)O_(3) nanofluids exhibit higher speeds than Cu,Ag,and TiO_(2) due to density differences.Silver-water nanofluids, with their higher density, move more slowly. The SRM results closely align with those from Maple, confirming the method’s accuracy.

文摘This paper deals with the problem of recreating horizontal alignments of existing railway lines. The main objective is to propose a simple method for automatically obtaining optimized recreated alignments located as close as possible to an existing one.Based on a previously defined geometric model, two different constrained optimization problems are formulated. The first problem uses only the information provided by a set of points representing the track centerline while the second one also considers additional data about the existing alignment. The proposed methodology consists of a two-stage process in which both problems are solved consecutively using numerical techniques. The main results obtained applying this methodology are presented to show its performance and to prove its practical usefulness:an academic example used to compare with other methods, and a case study of a railway section located in Parga(Spain)in which the geometry of its horizontal alignment is successfully recovered.

文摘Rational design of porous metal oxide films that serve as not only the scaffolds for light absorbers but also the transfer layer of photo generated charges is essential for fabricating highly efficient photoanodes for photoelectrochemical(PEC)hydrogen generation. In this work,w report a facile one-step pyrolysis method which can convert Zn-based MOF to porous ZnO(m-ZnO)with rough surface and abundant oxygen vacancies(O_(v)).When incorporating core-shell quantum dots(QDs)as the light absorbers, the obtained photoanodes(m-ZnO@QDs)achieved outstanding PEC performance for hydrogen generation, exhibiting 1.6 times and 5.8 times higher saturated photocurrent density(J_(sc))than thos of conventional TiO_(2)@QDs and ZnO@QDs photoanodes, respectively.Comprehensive optical and electrochemical measurements reveal tha the rough surface of m-ZnO can significantly improve the light-harvesting capacity of corresponding photoanodes through surface-enhanced light scattering. Moreover, the O_(v)in m-ZnO facilitate the interfacial transfer of photogenerated electrons. Our findings indicate that the MOF are valuable precursors for the preparation of porous films, offering a promising route to develop high-performance QDs-based PEC devices.
文摘By using a certain hybrid-type convolution operator,we first introduce a new subclass of normalized analytic functions in the open unit disk. For members of this analytic function class,we then derive several properties and characteristics including(for example)the modified Hadamard products,Holder's inequalities and convolution properties as well as some closure properties under a general family of integral transforms.

文摘Being a nonlinear operator, fractional derivatives can affect the enforcement of existence at any given time.As a result, the memory effect has an impact on all nonlinear processes modeled by fractional order differential equations(FODEs).The goal of this study is to increase the fractional model of the TB virus’s(FMTBV)accuracy.Stochastic solvers have never been used to solve FMTBV previously. The Bayesian regularized artificial(BRA)method and neural networks(NNs),often referred to as BRA-NNs,were used to solve the FMTBV model. Each scenario features five occurrences that each reflect a different order of derivatives, ranging from 0.8,0.85,0.9,0.95,and 1,as well as five potential rates for different parameters.Training data made up 90%of the data, testing data made up 5%,and validation data made up 5%of the data used to illustrate the FMTBV’s approximations. To verify that the BRA-NNs were correct, the generated simulations were described in the following solutions using the FOLotkaVolterra approach in MATLAB.Comprehensive Simulink results in terms of mean square error, error histogram, and regression analysis investigations further highlight the competence, dependability, and accuracy of the suggested BRA-NNs.
文摘By means of maximum principle for nonlinear hyperbolic systems, the results given by HSIAO Ling and D. Serre was improved for Cauchy problem of compressible adiabatic flow through porous media, and a complete result on the global existence and the blow-up phenomena of classical solutions of these systems. These results show that the dissipation is strong enough to preserve the smoothness of ‘small ’ solution.
