Nature 632 267(2024)]. Despite this important progress, it was observed that the AFM structure factor(and also the critical entropy) reaches its maximum at an interaction strength U/t■11.75, which is significantly larger than the theoretical prediction of U/t■8. Here,we resolve this discrepancy by studying the interplay between the thermal entropy, density disorder, and antiferromagnetism in the half-filled 3D Hubbard model, using numerically exact auxiliary-field quantum Monte Carlo simulations. We have achieved an accurate entropy phase diagram, enabling us to simulate arbitrary entropy path on the temperature-interaction plane and track experimental parameters effectively. We find that above the discrepancy can be quantitatively explained by the entropy increase associated with increasing interaction strength in experiments, and together with the lattice density disorder present in the experimental setup. We further investigate the entropy dependence of double occupancy and predict universal behaviors that could serve as valuable probes in future optical lattice experiments.展开更多

Although extensive research has established the relationship between the Rydberg state excitation(RSE) yields and the CPTC field parameters, such as field amplitude ratios and helicity of two components, the role of the relative phase(φ) in modulating RSE efficiency remains unclear. In this work, we theoretically investigate the φ dependence of RSE and ionization yields in the co-rotating and counter-rotating circularly polarized two-color(CPTC) few-cycle laser fields by a semiclassical model. We find that, in co-rotating CPTC fields, both RSE and ionization yields display pronounced oscillations as a function of φ and these oscillations are significantly suppressed in the counter-rotating configuration, particularly for ionization yields. Moreover, the ratio of RSE to ionization yields exhibits an out-of-phase oscillatory pattern between low-and high-intensity regimes. These results can be comprehended by the unique feature of φ dependence of CPTC few-cycle fields, based on our semiclassical analysis. Our results demonstrate that phase-controlled CPTC fields offer a versatile tool for steering ultrafast ionization and RSE dynamics of atoms and molecules.展开更多

It is found that the UPTNs have small world behaviour, by the examination of their topological parameters. The quantitative analysis of the transport efficiency of the UPTNs reveals their higher local efficiency El and lower global efficiency Eg, which coincide well with the status quo of those Chinese cities still at their developing stage. Furthermore, the topological properties of efficiency in the UPTNs are also examined, and the findings indicate that, on the one hand, the UPTNs show robustness to random attacks and frangibility to malicious attacks on a global scale; on the other hand, the interrelation between UPTN efficiency and network motifs deserves our attention. The motifs which interrelate the UPTN efficiency are always triangular-formed patterns, e.g. motifs ID 238, ID 174 and ID 102, etc.展开更多

The proposed strategy is performed by deleting edges according to their significances (the significance of an edge is defined as the product of the degrees of two nodes of this edge). In contrast to other methods, e.g., random immunization, proportional immunization, targeted immunization, acquaintance immunization and so on, which mainly focus on how to delete nodes to realize the control of epidemic spreading on complex networks, our method is more effective in realizing the control of epidemic spreading on complex networks, moreover, such a method can better retain the integrity of complex networks.展开更多

The relation between the shock strength and the discharge-induced magnetic pressure is studied by means of a set of one-fluid, hydromagnetic equations reformed for the present purpose, where the discharge-induced magnetic field consists of the electron current (produced by the discharge)-induced magnetic field and the partially ionized gas flow-induced one. A formula for the relation between the above parameters is derived. It shows that the discharge-induced magnetic pressure can minimize the shock strength, successfully explaining the two recent experimental observations on attached bow shock mitigation and elimination in a supersonic flow during on-board discharge [Phys. Plasmas 9 (2002) 721 and Phys. Plasmas 7 (2000) 1345]. In addition, the formula implies that the shock elimination leaves room for a layer of higher-density plasma rampart moving around the nose of the vehicle, being favourable to the plasma radar cloaking of the vehicle. The reason for it is expounded.展开更多

文摘The celebrated antiferromagnetic(AFM) phase transition was realized in a most recent optical lattice experiment for the 3D fermionic Hubbard model [Shao et al. We further investigate the entropy dependence of double occupancy and predict universal behaviors that could serve as valuable probes in future optical lattice experiments.

文摘This paper presents the design and optimization of a lutetium yttrium oxyorthosilicate(LYSO)crystal electromagnetic calorimeter(ECAL)for the DarkSHINE experiment, which aims to identify dark photons as potential mediators of dark forces. The ECAL design was evaluated through comprehensive simulations, focusing on optimizing dimensions, material selection, energy distribution, and energy resolution. The configuration consisted of 21×21×11 LYSO crystals, each measuring 2.5 cm×2.5 cm×4 cm,arranged in a staggered layout to enhance signal detection efficiency.A 4 GeV energy dynamic range was established to ensure accurate energy measurements without saturation, which is essential for background rejection and signal identification.A detailed digitization model was developed to simulate scintillation, silicon photomultiplier, and analog-to-digital converter behaviors, providing a realistic representation of the detector's performance.Additionally, the study assessed radiation damage in the ECAL region, emphasizing the importance of using radiation-resistant scintillators and silicon sensors.

文摘The water Cherenkov detector array(WCDA) is an important part of the large high-altitude air shower observatory(LHAASO),which is in a research and development phase. The central scientific goal of LHAASO is to explore the origin of high-energy cosmic rays of the universe and to push forward the frontier of new physics. To simplify the WCDA's readout electronics,a prototype of a front-end readout for an application-specific integrated circuit(ASIC) is designed based on the timeover-threshold method to achieve charge-to-time conversion.High-precision time measurement and charge measurement are necessary over a full dynamic range[1-4000photoelectrons(P.E.)].To evaluate the performance of this ASIC,a test system is designed that includes the front-end ASIC test module, digitization module, and test software. The first module needs to be customized for different ASIC versions, whereas the digitization module and test software are tested for general-purpose use.In the digitization module,a field programmable gate array-based time-todigital converter is designed with a bin size of 333 ps,which also integrates an inter-integrated circuit to configure the ASIC test module, and a universal serial bus interface is designed to transfer data to the remote computer.Test results indicate that the time resolution is better than 0.5 ns,and the charge resolution is better than 30%root mean square(RMS) at 1 P.E.and 3%RMS at 4000 P.E.,which are beyond the application requirements.

文摘This paper proposes a parallel cyclic shift structure of address decoder to realize a high-throughput encoding and decoding method for irregular-quasi-cyclic low-density parity-check(IR-QC-LDPC)codes,with a dual-diagonal parity structure.A normalized min-sum algorithm(NMSA)is employed for decoding. The whole verification of the encoding and decoding algorithm is simulated with Matlab, and the code rates of 5/6 and 2/3 are selected respectively for the initial bit error ratio as 6%and 1.04%.Based on the results of simulation,multi-code rates are compatible with different basis matrices. Then the simulated algorithms of encoder and decoder are migrated and implemented on the field programmable gate array(FPGA).The 183.36 Mbps throughput of encoder and the average 27.85 Mbps decoding throughput with the initial bit error ratio 6%are realized based on FPGA.

文摘Open heavy flavors and quarkonia are unique probes of the hot–dense medium produced in heavy-ion collisions. Their production in p+p collisions also constitutes an important test of QCD. In this paper, we review selected results on the open heavy flavors and quarkonia generated in the p+p and heavy-ion collisions at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider. The physical implications are also discussed.

文摘We investigate the topological characteristics of complex networks as exemplified by the urban public traffic network (UPTN) in Chinese top-ten biggest cities. The motifs which interrelate the UPTN efficiency are always triangular-formed patterns, e.g. motifs ID 238, ID 174 and ID 102, etc.

文摘We present a novel and effective method for controlling epidemic spreading on complex networks, especially on scale-free networks. The proposed strategy is performed by deleting edges according to their significances (the significance of an edge is defined as the product of the degrees of two nodes of this edge). In contrast to other methods, e.g., random immunization, proportional immunization, targeted immunization, acquaintance immunization and so on, which mainly focus on how to delete nodes to realize the control of epidemic spreading on complex networks, our method is more effective in realizing the control of epidemic spreading on complex networks, moreover, such a method can better retain the integrity of complex networks.

文摘We consider the effect of clustering coefficient on the synchronizability of coupled oscillators located on scale-free networks. The analytic result for the value of clustering coefficient aiming at a highly clustered scale-free network model, the Holme-Kim model is obtained, and the relationship between network synchronizability and clustering coefficient is reported. The simulation results strongly suggest that the more clustered the network, the poorer the synchronizability.

文摘High precision time measurement is required in the readout of the neutron wall and TOF walls in the external target experiment of the Cooling Storage Ring(CSR) project in the Heavy Ion Research Facility in Lanzhou(HIRFL).Considering the time walk correction, both time and charge are measured in the readout electronics. In this 16-channel measurement module, time and charge information are digitized by TDCs at the same time based on the Time-Over-Threshold(TOT) method;meanwhile,by employing high-density ASIC chips, the electronics complexity is effectively reduced.Test results indicate that this module achieves a time resolution better than 25 ps and a charge resolution better than 5%over the input amplitude range from 50 mV to 3V.

文摘In the present paper, a physical model is proposed for reducing the problem of the drag reduction of an attached bow shock around the nose of a high-speed vehicle with on-board discharge, to the problem of a balance between the magnetic pressure and gas pressure of plane shock of a partially ionized gas consisting of the environmental gas around the nose of the vehicle and the on-board discharge-produced plasma. The reason for it is expounded.
