In this article, we propose a new architecture within the software-defined networking (SDN) framework, which allows stations to be connected to several APs simultaneously and to switch fast between them. We evaluate our system in a real-time testbed and demonstrate that our SDN-based handover mechanism significantly reduces the number and duration of video freeze events and allows for smaller playout buffers.展开更多
Traffic forecasting with high precision aids Intelligent Transport Systems(ITS)in formulating and optimizing traffic management strategies.The algorithms used for tuning the hyperparameters of the deep learning models...Traffic forecasting with high precision aids Intelligent Transport Systems(ITS)in formulating and optimizing traffic management strategies.The algorithms used for tuning the hyperparameters of the deep learning models often have accurate results at the expense of high computational complexity.To address this problem,this paper uses the Tree-structured Parzen Estimator(TPE)to tune the hyperparameters of the Long Short-term Memory(LSTM)deep learning framework.The Tree-structured Parzen Estimator(TPE)uses a probabilistic approach with an adaptive searching mechanism by classifying the objective function values into good and bad samples.This ensures fast convergence in tuning the hyperparameter values in the deep learning model for performing prediction while still maintaining a certain degree of accuracy.It also overcomes the problem of converging to local optima and avoids timeconsuming random search and,therefore,avoids high computational complexity in prediction accuracy.The proposed scheme first performs data smoothing and normalization on the input data,which is then fed to the input of the TPE for tuning the hyperparameters.The traffic data is then input to the LSTM model with tuned parameters to perform the traffic prediction.The three optimizers:Adaptive Moment Estimation(Adam),Root Mean Square Propagation(RMSProp),and Stochastic Gradient Descend with Momentum(SGDM)are also evaluated for accuracy prediction and the best optimizer is then chosen for final traffic prediction in TPE-LSTM model.Simulation results verify the effectiveness of the proposed model in terms of accuracy of prediction over the benchmark schemes.展开更多

CO_(2)enhanced oil recovery plays an important role in carbon storage and utilization.However,the incomplete understanding of the underlying microscopic convection–diffusion mechanisms in complex pore structures has ...CO_(2)enhanced oil recovery plays an important role in carbon storage and utilization.However,the incomplete understanding of the underlying microscopic convection–diffusion mechanisms in complex pore structures has constrained the broader industrial application of CO_(2)geo-sequestration.This work develops a pore-scale numerical model considering molecular convection–diffusion to investigate CO_(2)-oil miscible displacement in two-and three-dimensional porous structures of conglomerate rocks.The effects of CO_(2)injection rates and pore structure properties on convection–diffusion are analyzed.By reconstructing the distribution of unexploited pores,the CO_(2)sweep efficiency is quantitatively evaluated.Furthermore,a sequestration factor is proposed to evaluate the CO_(2)storage capacity during miscible displacement.Convection significantly enhances the CO_(2)mass fraction in fractures with high flow rates.Subsequently,CO_(2)gradually diffuses into matrix pores without velocity distribution.Both convection and diffusion contribute to improving CO_(2)displacement efficiency.Diffusion facilitates the dissolution of CO_(2)into oil within small-diameter pores,and convection effectively mobilizes oil in large pore bodies.Developed and homogeneous pore structures enhance CO_(2)displacement efficiency,whereas CO_(2)flows along the main flow channels in heterogeneous pore structures,resulting in lower displacement efficiency.Diffusion plays a crucial role in CO_(2)storage within porous media.At low injection rates,dissolved CO_(2)is trapped in poorly connected and blind-end pores.The injection rate is negatively correlated with the sequestration factor.展开更多
Financial integration plays an important role in fostering global economic growth.Energy demand,technology transfer,sustainable production,and climate change have emerged as key drivers of sustainable development.This...Financial integration plays an important role in fostering global economic growth.Energy demand,technology transfer,sustainable production,and climate change have emerged as key drivers of sustainable development.This study explores the influence of financial integration,bolstered by renewable energy-induced trade,industry-driven technology,and environmental concerns,on regional economic growth.This study analyzes a panel of 39 high-and upper-middle-income European and Central Asian countries in 2017–2021.Using a panel generalized method of moments estimator,we reveal an inverted U-shaped relationship between regional economic growth and carbon emissions.Moreover,renewable energy-induced trade contributes positively to regional growth while trade openness and technology transfer further enhance this growth.Industry-driven technology negatively impacts regional growth owing to inadequate financial integration.The absence of sustainable energy infrastructure and industrialization also negatively impacts regional growth.Our study underscores the importance of increasing financial integration to promote sustainable energydriven trade openness and technology transfer in line with the United Nations’sustainable development agenda.展开更多

Different from other estimation formulas, most of which use the size of network, N, as the only parameter, two parameters including N and a second parameter α are included in our formula. The parameter α is the power-law exponent, which represents the local connectivity property of a network. Because of this, the formula captures an important property that the local connectivity property at a microscopic level can determine the global connectivity of the whole network. The use of this new parameter distinguishes this approach from the other estimation formulas, and makes it a universal estimation formula, which can be applied to all types of scale-free networks. The conclusion is made that the small world feature is a derivative feature of a scale free network. If a network follows the power-law degree distribution, it must be a small world network. The power-law degree distribution property, while making the network economical, preserves the efficiency through this small world property when the network is scaled up. In other words, a real scale-free network is scaled at a relatively small cost and a relatively high efficiency, and that is the desirable result of self-organization optimization.展开更多

The influences of rainfall infiltration on the sta...The slope instability is associated with increasing rate of rainfall infiltration which cause shear strength reduction and suction loss and the slope tend to failure. The influences of rainfall infiltration on the stability of clayey and sandy slopes have been analyzed but the effect of rainfall infiltration on the stability of unsaturated coal gangue accumulated slope was needed to study. Therefore, a coal gangue accumulated slope prone to failure in Fuxin area of Northeast China was considered to evaluate its failure mechanism under different rainfall events. The effects after five different rainfall events on slope stability were physically analyzed, numerically investigated and the results from both uncoupled(hydraulic) and coupled(hydromechanical) responses were compared using finite element analysis. It was observed that the decisive soaking and leaching under different rainfall conditions caused maximum deformation at the crest of slope due to maximum value of permeability coefficient of coal gangue. The critical duration of moderate intensity(147 mm/day) of rainfall for the instability of coal gangue accumulated slope is declared as five days. The results from finite element analysis in this paper further clarifies that increase in duration of rainfall infiltration process cause hysteretic change in positive pore-water pressure causing decrease in factor of safety and increase in deformation. It is concluded that the stability of unsaturated coal gangue accumulated slope is greatly influence by the coupled effect of stress and porewater pressure in comparison of uncoupled(hydraulic) analysis as the obtained factor of safety values after five days of rainfall infiltration were 0.9 and 1.1 respectively.展开更多

Rice is an important source for foreign exchange earnings for the economy of Pakistan, keeping in mind of this fact, the competitiveness of Pakistan's rice with other major exporters was examined by applying revealed competitive advantage. The domestic consumption trends of rice among the major rice exporting countries were also analyzed in the current study. The results revealed that as compare to other major exporters of rice in the world, Pakistan had high competitive and comparative advantage in the production of rice. The comparison of the movements in comparative advantage indices for Pakistan with the major world rice competitors/exporters showed that Pakistan possessed relatively high comparative and competitive advantages in rice production. The declining domestic per capita consumption of rice and increasing trends in competitiveness for Pakistan clearly revealed the expected potential of higher growth which meant that rice exports from Pakistan could continue to play an important role for the earnings of foreign exchange. In order to exploit the potential benefits of rice exports, we need to strengthen the competitiveness in rice sector of Pakistan.展开更多

Based on the model, we introduce two new quantities, i.e. attack fraction fa and the maximum degree of the nodes that have never been attacked ~Ka, to study analytically the critical attack fraction and the relative size of the giant component of complex networks under attack and repair, using the method of generating function. We show analytically and numerically that the repair strategy significantly enhances the robustness of the scale-free network and the effect of robustness improvement is better for the scale-free networks with a smaller degree exponent. We discuss the application of our theory in relation to theunderstanding of robustness of complex networks with reparability.展开更多

In intercontinental trade and economics goods are bought from a global supplier.On occasion,the expected lot may include a fraction of defective items.These imperfect items still have worth and can be sold to customer...In intercontinental trade and economics goods are bought from a global supplier.On occasion,the expected lot may include a fraction of defective items.These imperfect items still have worth and can be sold to customers after repair.It is cost-effective and sustainable to rework such items in nearby repair workshops rather than return them.The reworked items can be returned from the workshop to the buyer when shortages are equal to the quantity of imperfect items.In the meantime,the supplier correspondingly deals a multi-period delay-in-payments strategy with purchaser.The entire profit has been maximized with paybacks for interim financing.This study aims to develop a synergic inventory model to get the most profit by making an allowance for reworking,multi-period delay-in-payments policy,and shortages.The findings of the proposed model augment inventory management performance by monitoring cycle time as well as fraction of phase with optimistic inventory for a supply chain.The results demonstrate that profit is smaller if the permitted period given by supplier to buyer is equal to or greater than the cycle time,and profit is greater if the permitted period is smaller than the cycle time.The algebraic method is engaged to make a closed system optimum solution.The mathematical experiment of this study is constructed to provide management insights and tangible practices.展开更多

The challenge of achieving sustainable economic development with a secure environmental system is a global challenge faced by both developed and developing countries.Energy Efficiency(EE)is crucial in achieving sustai...The challenge of achieving sustainable economic development with a secure environmental system is a global challenge faced by both developed and developing countries.Energy Efficiency(EE)is crucial in achieving sustainable economic growth while reducing ecological impacts.This research utilizes the Slack-Based Measure Data Envelopment Analysis(SBM-DEA)and the Malmquist-Luenberger Index(MLI)method to evaluate EE and productivity changes from 1995 to 2020 across G20 countries.The study uses four different input-output bundles to gauge the impact of renewable and non-renewable energy consumption and carbon emissions on EE and productivity changes.The study results show that including renewable energy consumption improves the average EE from 0.783 to 0.8578,but energy productivity declines from 1.0064 to 0.9988.Incorporating bad output(carbon emissions)in the estimation process enhances renewable EE and productivity change,resulting in an average EE of 0.6678 and MLI of 1.0044.Technological change is identified as the primary determinant of energy productivity growth in scenarios 1 and 2,while technical efficiency determines energy productivity change in scenarios 3 and 4.The Kruskal-Wallis test reveals a significant statistical difference between the mean EE and MLI scores of G20 countries.展开更多

Probit model was applied to identify the significant factors which influenced our dependent variable "not willing to participate". The results of the analyses showed that crop insurance premium was the most influencing factor which had positive and significant impact on dependent variable. Similarly dissatisfaction with crop loan insurance scheme, lacking of knowledge about crop insurance, believing of being against Islamic rules and time taking process was also found to be positive and significantly influenced the dependent variable. While limited decision power and limited perils were not found to be significant in the results.展开更多

Prior studies overlooked to consider the influence of interaction between users and the authority of users during information dissemination. In this article, we proposed an innovative concept by employing communication strength and authority in order to explore the influential people. First, we calculated communication strength by three kinds of actions including retweets, comments and mentions. Second, we deliberated authority metric by employing total times getting re-tweeted, number of tweets and followers of a user. Then, we propose a novel algorithm called Influential People Label Propagation Algorithm(IPLPA) that considers the proposed metric to explore the influential people in micro-blog networks. We performed extensive experiments to measure the influence and rank of each person within micro-blog network. The comparative study presents that IPLPA depicted effective people while baseline algorithms retrieved low influenced people at top rank. Additionally, influence dissemination also measured for obtained influential people in order to validate proposed concept. The findings of this study would be useful for viral marketing and advertisement campaigns.展开更多
Ajzen’s theory of planned behavior(TPB)suggests that planned behavior is determined by behavioral intention.Despite extensive literature based on TPB,household mental budgeting behavior explained by TPB is underexplo...Ajzen’s theory of planned behavior(TPB)suggests that planned behavior is determined by behavioral intention.Despite extensive literature based on TPB,household mental budgeting behavior explained by TPB is underexplored.The current study empirically tested TPB factors in light of mental budgeting behavior.The hypothesized model was tested using partial least squares structural equation modeling(PLS-SEM).PLS-SEM was employed using a Likert-scaled questionnaire administered to 275 households.The results indicate that mental budgeting attitude and mental budgeting past behavior strongly predict mental budgeting intention,and mental budgeting intention predicts mental budgeting behavior.Further,mental budgeting intention partially mediates the relationship between mental budgeting attitude and mental budgeting behavior,and mental budgeting past behavior and mental budgeting behavior.This study contributes to the academic interest in theoretical progress in household behavior.展开更多

文摘This paper evaluates accommodation of conflict management strategies and board performances in oil and gas sector.The study details the reflection of effectiveness,efficiency and productivity as the answer to thorough efficiency in accommodation of conflict management in oil and gas sector,these parameters in the system express their efficacy on conflict management in these multinationals,this implies that for thorough efficiency,these variables must work simultaneously for effective and efficient in structural organization that can be a leading multinational sector in oil and gas environment.The study observed Linearized result from graphical representation explaining predominant lower efficiency and little higher efficiency in accommodation of conflict management in oil and gas companies.These experiences from the study monitor the system from generated simulation values that describe the growth rates in exponential phase of accommodation conflict strategic management.Despite exponential phase the results experienced lower parameters,when comparing on its variations showing its poor efficiency as observed in the study.Few periods observed higher effective accommodation on conflict strategic management.The developed model stimulation values were subjected to validation and both parameters generated favourable fits correlation,the study expressed the deficiency on accommodation of conflict management strategy thus developed models that can monitor the fluctuation and progressive state of accommodation on conflict management strategy,it defines the reflection of other parameters that express the behaviour of the system in terms of conceptual approach to monitor these type of strategic management in oil and gas companies.
文摘The COVID-19 pandemic and its subsequent eradication precipitated a rare and unexpected stock market crash.This crisis presents a unique opportunity to evaluate environmental,social,sustainable,and management(ESSM)policy choices.This study contributes by demonstrating the application of ESSM concerns and investment decision investment horizons and showing the significance of the long-term perspective in ESSM investment decision-making.From January 2020 to December 2022,stocks with higher ESSM ratings had significantly greater returns,less return arbitrariness,and larger operational profit margins.ESSM ventures with more advertising expenditures had higher stock returns;however,investors more predisposed toward ESSM saw less return arbitrariness during market crises.This study emphasizes the importance of investor and consumer loyalty to the elasticity of ESSM stocks.

文摘CO_(2)enhanced oil recovery plays an important role in carbon storage and utilization.However,the incomplete understanding of the underlying microscopic convection–diffusion mechanisms in complex pore structures has constrained the broader industrial application of CO_(2)geo-sequestration.This work develops a pore-scale numerical model considering molecular convection–diffusion to investigate CO_(2)-oil miscible displacement in two-and three-dimensional porous structures of conglomerate rocks.The effects of CO_(2)injection rates and pore structure properties on convection–diffusion are analyzed.By reconstructing the distribution of unexploited pores,the CO_(2)sweep efficiency is quantitatively evaluated.Furthermore,a sequestration factor is proposed to evaluate the CO_(2)storage capacity during miscible displacement.Convection significantly enhances the CO_(2)mass fraction in fractures with high flow rates.Subsequently,CO_(2)gradually diffuses into matrix pores without velocity distribution.Both convection and diffusion contribute to improving CO_(2)displacement efficiency.Diffusion facilitates the dissolution of CO_(2)into oil within small-diameter pores,and convection effectively mobilizes oil in large pore bodies.Developed and homogeneous pore structures enhance CO_(2)displacement efficiency,whereas CO_(2)flows along the main flow channels in heterogeneous pore structures,resulting in lower displacement efficiency.Diffusion plays a crucial role in CO_(2)storage within porous media.At low injection rates,dissolved CO_(2)is trapped in poorly connected and blind-end pores.The injection rate is negatively correlated with the sequestration factor.

文摘Financial integration plays an important role in fostering global economic growth.Energy demand,technology transfer,sustainable production,and climate change have emerged as key drivers of sustainable development.This study explores the influence of financial integration,bolstered by renewable energy-induced trade,industry-driven technology,and environmental concerns,on regional economic growth.This study analyzes a panel of 39 high-and upper-middle-income European and Central Asian countries in 2017–2021.Using a panel generalized method of moments estimator,we reveal an inverted U-shaped relationship between regional economic growth and carbon emissions.Moreover,renewable energy-induced trade contributes positively to regional growth while trade openness and technology transfer further enhance this growth.Industry-driven technology negatively impacts regional growth owing to inadequate financial integration.The absence of sustainable energy infrastructure and industrialization also negatively impacts regional growth.Our study underscores the importance of increasing financial integration to promote sustainable energydriven trade openness and technology transfer in line with the United Nations’sustainable development agenda.

Fi- nally, the critical model of knowledge sharing mechanism in virtual organization also is presented based on the perspective of game analysis.

文摘Large-scale multi-objective optimization problems(MOPs)that involve a large number of decision variables,have emerged from many real-world applications.While evolutionary algorithms(EAs)have been widely acknowledged as a mainstream method for MOPs,most research progress and successful applications of EAs have been restricted to MOPs with small-scale decision variables.More recently,it has been reported that traditional multi-objective EAs(MOEAs)suffer severe deterioration with the increase of decision variables.As a result,and motivated by the emergence of real-world large-scale MOPs,investigation of MOEAs in this aspect has attracted much more attention in the past decade.This paper reviews the progress of evolutionary computation for large-scale multi-objective optimization from two angles.From the key difficulties of the large-scale MOPs,the scalability analysis is discussed by focusing on the performance of existing MOEAs and the challenges induced by the increase of the number of decision variables.From the perspective of methodology,the large-scale MOEAs are categorized into three classes and introduced respectively:divide and conquer based,dimensionality reduction based and enhanced search-based approaches.Several future research directions are also discussed.

文摘A universal estimation formula for the average path length of scale free networks is given in this paper. Different from other estimation formulas, most of which use the size of network, N, as the only parameter, two parameters including N and a second parameter α are included in our formula. The parameter α is the power-law exponent, which represents the local connectivity property of a network. Because of this, the formula captures an important property that the local connectivity property at a microscopic level can determine the global connectivity of the whole network. The use of this new parameter distinguishes this approach from the other estimation formulas, and makes it a universal estimation formula, which can be applied to all types of scale-free networks. The conclusion is made that the small world feature is a derivative feature of a scale free network. If a network follows the power-law degree distribution, it must be a small world network. The power-law degree distribution property, while making the network economical, preserves the efficiency through this small world property when the network is scaled up. In other words, a real scale-free network is scaled at a relatively small cost and a relatively high efficiency, and that is the desirable result of self-organization optimization.

文摘The slope instability is associated with increasing rate of rainfall infiltration which cause shear strength reduction and suction loss and the slope tend to failure. The influences of rainfall infiltration on the stability of clayey and sandy slopes have been analyzed but the effect of rainfall infiltration on the stability of unsaturated coal gangue accumulated slope was needed to study. Therefore, a coal gangue accumulated slope prone to failure in Fuxin area of Northeast China was considered to evaluate its failure mechanism under different rainfall events. The effects after five different rainfall events on slope stability were physically analyzed, numerically investigated and the results from both uncoupled(hydraulic) and coupled(hydromechanical) responses were compared using finite element analysis. It was observed that the decisive soaking and leaching under different rainfall conditions caused maximum deformation at the crest of slope due to maximum value of permeability coefficient of coal gangue. The critical duration of moderate intensity(147 mm/day) of rainfall for the instability of coal gangue accumulated slope is declared as five days. The results from finite element analysis in this paper further clarifies that increase in duration of rainfall infiltration process cause hysteretic change in positive pore-water pressure causing decrease in factor of safety and increase in deformation. It is concluded that the stability of unsaturated coal gangue accumulated slope is greatly influence by the coupled effect of stress and porewater pressure in comparison of uncoupled(hydraulic) analysis as the obtained factor of safety values after five days of rainfall infiltration were 0.9 and 1.1 respectively.
文摘Under the umbrella of WTO, the reduction in trade barriers has forced the policy makers to focus on the export competitiveness. Rice is an important source for foreign exchange earnings for the economy of Pakistan, keeping in mind of this fact, the competitiveness of Pakistan's rice with other major exporters was examined by applying revealed competitive advantage. The domestic consumption trends of rice among the major rice exporting countries were also analyzed in the current study. The results revealed that as compare to other major exporters of rice in the world, Pakistan had high competitive and comparative advantage in the production of rice. The comparison of the movements in comparative advantage indices for Pakistan with the major world rice competitors/exporters showed that Pakistan possessed relatively high comparative and competitive advantages in rice production. The declining domestic per capita consumption of rice and increasing trends in competitiveness for Pakistan clearly revealed the expected potential of higher growth which meant that rice exports from Pakistan could continue to play an important role for the earnings of foreign exchange. In order to exploit the potential benefits of rice exports, we need to strengthen the competitiveness in rice sector of Pakistan.
文摘To study the robustness of complex networks under attack and repair, we introduce a repair model of complex networks. Based on the model, we introduce two new quantities, i.e. attack fraction fa and the maximum degree of the nodes that have never been attacked ~Ka, to study analytically the critical attack fraction and the relative size of the giant component of complex networks under attack and repair, using the method of generating function. We show analytically and numerically that the repair strategy significantly enhances the robustness of the scale-free network and the effect of robustness improvement is better for the scale-free networks with a smaller degree exponent. We discuss the application of our theory in relation to theunderstanding of robustness of complex networks with reparability.

A multiple objective problem was constructed for the owners and the workers. At the same time, the planning stability is considered in the presented model. Since the process speed is decided by the dynamic demand of production or the interior system itself, two situations were discussed in this paper.
文摘In intercontinental trade and economics goods are bought from a global supplier.On occasion,the expected lot may include a fraction of defective items.These imperfect items still have worth and can be sold to customers after repair.It is cost-effective and sustainable to rework such items in nearby repair workshops rather than return them.The reworked items can be returned from the workshop to the buyer when shortages are equal to the quantity of imperfect items.In the meantime,the supplier correspondingly deals a multi-period delay-in-payments strategy with purchaser.The entire profit has been maximized with paybacks for interim financing.This study aims to develop a synergic inventory model to get the most profit by making an allowance for reworking,multi-period delay-in-payments policy,and shortages.The findings of the proposed model augment inventory management performance by monitoring cycle time as well as fraction of phase with optimistic inventory for a supply chain.The results demonstrate that profit is smaller if the permitted period given by supplier to buyer is equal to or greater than the cycle time,and profit is greater if the permitted period is smaller than the cycle time.The algebraic method is engaged to make a closed system optimum solution.The mathematical experiment of this study is constructed to provide management insights and tangible practices.
文摘This paper used the modern evaluation method of DEA (Data Envelopment Analysis) to assess the comparative efficiency and then on the basis of this among multiple schemes chose the optimal scheme of agricultural production structure adjustment. Based on the results of DEA model, we dissected scale advantages of each discretionary scheme or plan. We examined scale advantages of each discretionary scheme, tested profoundly a definitive purpose behind not-DEA efficient, which elucidated the system and methodology to enhance these discretionary plans. At the end, another method had been proposed to rank and select the optimal scheme. The research was important to guide the practice if the modification of agricultural production industrial structure was carded on.
文摘The challenge of achieving sustainable economic development with a secure environmental system is a global challenge faced by both developed and developing countries.Energy Efficiency(EE)is crucial in achieving sustainable economic growth while reducing ecological impacts.This research utilizes the Slack-Based Measure Data Envelopment Analysis(SBM-DEA)and the Malmquist-Luenberger Index(MLI)method to evaluate EE and productivity changes from 1995 to 2020 across G20 countries.The study uses four different input-output bundles to gauge the impact of renewable and non-renewable energy consumption and carbon emissions on EE and productivity changes.The study results show that including renewable energy consumption improves the average EE from 0.783 to 0.8578,but energy productivity declines from 1.0064 to 0.9988.Incorporating bad output(carbon emissions)in the estimation process enhances renewable EE and productivity change,resulting in an average EE of 0.6678 and MLI of 1.0044.Technological change is identified as the primary determinant of energy productivity growth in scenarios 1 and 2,while technical efficiency determines energy productivity change in scenarios 3 and 4.The Kruskal-Wallis test reveals a significant statistical difference between the mean EE and MLI scores of G20 countries.
文摘This study was conducted to analyze the factors that negatively influence Pakistani farmers' willingness to participate in crop insurance. Probit model was applied to identify the significant factors which influenced our dependent variable "not willing to participate". The results of the analyses showed that crop insurance premium was the most influencing factor which had positive and significant impact on dependent variable. Similarly dissatisfaction with crop loan insurance scheme, lacking of knowledge about crop insurance, believing of being against Islamic rules and time taking process was also found to be positive and significantly influenced the dependent variable. While limited decision power and limited perils were not found to be significant in the results.

文摘Exploration of influential people is really a hot issue for effective viral marketing these days. Prior studies overlooked to consider the influence of interaction between users and the authority of users during information dissemination. In this article, we proposed an innovative concept by employing communication strength and authority in order to explore the influential people. First, we calculated communication strength by three kinds of actions including retweets, comments and mentions. Second, we deliberated authority metric by employing total times getting re-tweeted, number of tweets and followers of a user. Then, we propose a novel algorithm called Influential People Label Propagation Algorithm(IPLPA) that considers the proposed metric to explore the influential people in micro-blog networks. We performed extensive experiments to measure the influence and rank of each person within micro-blog network. The comparative study presents that IPLPA depicted effective people while baseline algorithms retrieved low influenced people at top rank. Additionally, influence dissemination also measured for obtained influential people in order to validate proposed concept. The findings of this study would be useful for viral marketing and advertisement campaigns.
文摘Ajzen’s theory of planned behavior(TPB)suggests that planned behavior is determined by behavioral intention.Despite extensive literature based on TPB,household mental budgeting behavior explained by TPB is underexplored.The current study empirically tested TPB factors in light of mental budgeting behavior.The hypothesized model was tested using partial least squares structural equation modeling(PLS-SEM).PLS-SEM was employed using a Likert-scaled questionnaire administered to 275 households.The results indicate that mental budgeting attitude and mental budgeting past behavior strongly predict mental budgeting intention,and mental budgeting intention predicts mental budgeting behavior.Further,mental budgeting intention partially mediates the relationship between mental budgeting attitude and mental budgeting behavior,and mental budgeting past behavior and mental budgeting behavior.This study contributes to the academic interest in theoretical progress in household behavior.
