In this paper,the Web-based integration methodology and framework have been developed to facilitate collabora-tive and concurrent engineering design in distributed manufacturing environments.The distributed concurrent engineering and co-design are discussed as key components in the mechanism.The related integration system is presented,which includes four function-al modules:co-design,Web-based visualization,manufacturing analysis and look-up service.It can be used for a design team geo-graphically distributed to organize a collaborative and concurrent engineering design effectively.In particular,the collaborative mechanism incorporated with Java-based and Internet-enabled technologies can generate extended strategies for design and planning.Thus,the proposed integration architecture enables the system to be generic,open and scalable.Finally,for the trend of global manufacturing,a case study of Internet-enabled collaborative optimization is introduced and a discussion on teamwork capability is made. 展开更多

Bayesian Inference of Hit Probability of Ammunition Based on Normal-Inverse Wishart Distribution

In order to solve the problems of high experimental cost of ammunition,lack of field test data,and the difficulty in applying the ammunition hit probability estimation method in classical statistics,this paper assumes that the projectile dispersion of ammunition is a two-dimensional joint normal distribution,and proposes a new Bayesian inference method of ammunition hit probability based on normal-inverse Wishart distribution.Firstly,the conjugate joint prior distribution of the projectile dispersion characteristic parameters is determined to be a normal inverse Wishart distribution,and the hyperparameters in the prior distribution are estimated by simulation experimental data and historical measured data.Secondly,the field test data is integrated with the Bayesian formula to obtain the joint posterior distribution of the projectile dispersion characteristic parameters,and then the hit probability of the ammunition is estimated.Finally,compared with the binomial distribution method,the method in this paper can consider the dispersion information of ammunition projectiles,and the hit probability information is more fully utilized.The hit probability results are closer to the field shooting test samples.This method has strong applicability and is conducive to obtaining more accurate hit probability estimation results. 展开更多

Microstructure in non-standard heavy section ductile iron castings:influence of solidification time and casting size

Ductile iron represents an optimal solution for saving material and costs in producing large heavy-section castings in the energy sector.It aimed to investigate the influence of very long solidification time(3,10 and 20 h)in different casting zones(casting center and transition zone)on the microstructure and mechanical properties of non-standard heavy-section ferritic ductile iron(EN-GJS-400-15)castings.The different solidification conditions significantly influenced the microstructure(graphite and ferrous matrix).The extent of phenomena such as degenerate graphite,solidification defects,hard carbides,and intergranular pearlitic areas and the microstructural coarsening were proportional to the solidification time and attributable to the combined effect of limited undercooling,solid solution diffusion mechanisms,and segregation phenomena.For comparable solidification time,the transition zone was characterized by larger nodules,comparable nodularity,and lower nodule count than the casting center due to more effective diffusion phenomena during cooling.Moreover,the lower segregation phenomena in the transition zone reduced the amount of pearlite and carbides in the intercellular zones.Hardness was only slightly influenced by the different solidification conditions and did not represent a reliable indicator of the microstructural inhomogeneities.These results are essential to refine casting simulations for producing large ferritic ductile iron castings,considering the wide microstructural variability within non-standard heavy-section castings caused by significantly different solidification conditions. 展开更多

The effects of AITi5B1 grain refinement and cooling rate on the microstructure and mechanical properties of a secondary AlSi7Cu3Mg alloy were reported. Metallographic and image analysis techniques have been used to quantitatively examine the macrostructural and microstructural changes occurring with the addition of grain-refining agent at different cooling rates by using a step casting die. The results indicate that the addition of AlTi5B1 produces a fine and uniform grain structure throughout the casting and this effect is more pronounced in the slowly solidified regions. Increasing the cooling rate, lower amount of grain refiner is necessary to produce a uniform grain size throughout the casting. On the other hand, the initial contents of Ti and B, present as impurity elements in the supplied secondary alloy, are not sufficient to produce an effective grain refinement. The results from the step casting geometry were applied to investigate a gasoline 16V cylinder head, which was produced by gravity semi-permanent mould technology. The grain refinement improves the plastic behaviour of the alloy and increases the reliability of the casting, as evidenced by the Weibull statistics. 展开更多

Connotation of land competitiveness is expatiated from both the narrow sense and broad sense.Evaluation index system of land competitiveness is established according to the 2008 China Statistical Yearbook and 2008 China Land Resources Statistical Yearbook.Efficiency Coefficient Method and Principal Component Analysis Method are used to evaluate the land competitiveness of 31 provincial units in China.Result shows that in the year 2007,land competitiveness gradually decreases from southeast to northwest.The land competitiveness and GDP per unit land have significant negative correlation.The rank of approved new construction land has low positive correlation with the rank of land competitiveness in China.This indicates that there is little correlation between the allocation of regional new construction land and the land use efficiency.Therefore,it is suggested that regional allocation of new construction land should be treated differently based on the evaluation result of land competitiveness. 展开更多

The effects of Sr addition and pressure increase on the microstructure and casting defects of a low-pressure die cast (LPDC) AISi7Mg0.3 alloy have been studied. Metallographic and image analysis techniques have been used to quantitatively examine the microstructural changes and the amount of porosity occurring at different Sr levels and pressure parameters. The results indicate that an increase in the filling pressure induces lower heat dissipation of the liquid close to the die/core surfaces, with the formation of slightly greater dendrite arms and coarser eutectic Si particles. On the other hand, the increase in the Sr level leads to finer microstructural scale and eutectic Si. The analysed variables, within the experimental conditions, do not affect the morphology of eutectic Si particles. Higher applied pressure and Sr content generate castings with lower amount of porosiW. However, as the filling pressure increases the flow of metal inside the die cavity is more turbulent, leading to the formation of oxide films and cold shots. In the analysed range of experimental conditions, the design of experiment methodology and the analysis of variance have been used to develop statistical models that accurately predict the average size of secondary dendrite arm spacing and the amount of porosity in the low-pressure die cast AISiTMg0.3 alloy. 展开更多

With the development of manufacturing technology, we can probe a new way to solve this problem. Firstly, a new method for task granularity quantitative analysis is put forward, which can precisely evaluate the task granularity of complex product cooperation workflow in the integrated manufacturing system, on the above basis; this method is used to guide the coarse-grained task decomposition and recombine the subtasks with low cohesion coefficient. Then, a multi-objective optimieation model and an algorithm are set up for the scheduling optimization of task scheduling. Finally, the application feasibility of the model and algorithm is ultimately validated through an application case study. 展开更多

For these questions, this paper analyzes the factors that affect the outlay of equipment maintenance, and describes the computational principle of the BP (back propagation) artificial neural network and its applications in the maintenance of naval ship and craft. Finally, a dynamic investment prediction model of outlay for the military equipment maintenance is designed. It is important for decreasing the entire life period outlay and drawing up the maintenance plan and programming to analyze the position and action of maintenance outlay in entire life period outlay. 展开更多

A semi-empirical model is proposed to describe the kinetics of sigma phase precipitation/dissolution during continuous heating starting from the isothermal transformation kinetics. The proposed model, which presumes validity of the additivity rule, is validated by means of experimental investigations. A good agreement is found between experimental and analytical results. 展开更多

Changes of local agricultural landscape patterns induced by land consolidation in hilly and mountainous Southwestern China 被引量:1

Land consolidation (LC), as a type of human disturbance, improves land production efficiency and changes landscape distribution through land parcel reallocation. The objective of this study was to comparatively analyze the changes of landscape patches before and after a land consolidation project (LCP) and the effects of land levelling, irrigation and drainage work and road engineering on the landscape structure. FRAGSTAT3.3 and buffer zone analysis were used to investigate those changes. The results suggest that the heterogeneity of landscape depressed, and tended to simplification after LC. Dry land was the most highly variable land use pattern, and the change of forestland was least due to its locations at a gradient larger than 25°. LC resulted in a more rational use of land, and could be an important step in promoting rural development in depressed and fragmented agricultural areas through unused land exploitation, small-patch combination, irrigation and water conservancy, and road construction. Land levelling leveled off the gradient field surface and decreased the slope. The fragmentized patches were much more incorporated with increasing slope. On the other hand, the ridge of a field became longer so that the length of field surface and area of patch were increased. Land levelling regulated, simplified and combined patches, so that the complexity degree was reduced. It is found that the buffer distance of 35 m was a turning point of human disturbance by irrigation and drainage systems, and patches presented flaky distribution when the buffer distance was smaller than 35 m. Meanwhile, the distance range between 25 m to 50 m was an impressible area for road engineering, which was sensitive to human actions, and the changes of all landscape metrics were larger than those in other buffer zones. In general, LC not only reallocated fragmented parcels, but also improved agricultural conditions. 展开更多

Revealing the oxidation behavior of superalloys is crucial for optimizing material properties and extending service life.This study investigated the oxidation behavior of superalloy GH4738 under stress states at 850℃.High-throughput specimens were fabricated to withstand different stresses at the same time.Isothermal oxidation s amples were analyzed using the mass gain method to obtain oxidation kinetic curves.The results show that the external stress below 200 MPa could improve the oxidation resistance of the GH4738.With tensile stress increasing,the oxide layer becomes thinner,denser and more complete,while internal oxidation decreases.The tensile stress alters the structure of the external oxide layer from a two-layer to a threelayer configuration.The Cr_(2)O_(3) oxide layer inhibits the outward diffusion of Ti,leading to Ti enrichment at the oxide-matrix interface and altering the oxidation mechanism of GH4738. 展开更多

DQ impedance-based method has been widely used to study the stability of three-phase converter systems.As the dq impedance model of each converter depends on its local dq reference frame,the dq impedance modeling of complex converter networks gets complicated.Because the reference frames of different converters might not fully align,depending on the structure.Thus,in order to find an accurate impedance model of a complex network for stability analysis,converting the impedances of different converters into a common reference frame is required.This paper presents a comprehensive investigation on the transformation of dq impedances to a common reference frame in complex converter networks.Four different methods are introduced and analyzed in a systematic way.Moreover,a rigorous comparison among these approaches is carried out,where the method with the simplest transformation procedure is finally suggested for the modeling of complex converter networks.The performed analysis is verified by injecting two independent small-signal perturbations into the d and the q axis,and doing a point-by-point impedance measurement. 展开更多

Therefore, it is very important to prepare effective filters for their removal. In this work filters were prepared from nanocellulose, i.e. cellulose nanofibrils (CNF). CNF was produced using two methods giving two different qualities of CNF. One quality had negative charges on the fibril surfaces while the other was neutral, and had in addition thinner fibrils compared to the other qualities. Filter samples were produced from water dispersions of CNF, by removal of the water by freeze drying. The performance of the CNF based filters was assessed and compared with filters based on synthetic polymer fibres. The ability to collect NaCl particles with a broad size distribution, ranging from nanometer to micrometer scale, was determined. CNF filters showed quality values comparable with the synthetic polymer based filters. Filters based on both the two CNF qualities had very good filtration efficiency for a given pressure drop across the filter. 展开更多

To cope with multi-directional transmission coupling,spreading, amplification, and chain reaction of risks during multiproject parallel construction of warships, a risk transmission evaluation method is proposed, which integrates an intuitionistic cloud model with a fuzzy cognitive map. By virtue of expectancy Ex, entropy En, and hyper entropy He, the risk fuzziness and randomness of the knowledge of experts are organically combined to develop a method for converting bi-linguistic variable decision-making information into the quantitative information of the intuitionistic normal cloud(INC) model. Subsequently, the threshold function and weighted summation operation in the traditional fuzzy cognitive map is converted into the INC ordered weighted averaging operator to create the risk transmission model based on the intuitionistic fuzzy cognitive map(IFCM) and the algorithm for solving it. Subsequently, the risk influence sequencing method based on INC and the risk rating method based on nearness are proposed on the basis of Monte Carlo simulation in order to realize the mutual conversion of the qualitative and quantitative information in the risk evaluation results.Example analysis is presented to verify the effectiveness and practicality of the methods. 展开更多

An Interval Algorithm of Maintenance Windows Under Uncertain Parameters

Age replacement model is selected to demonstrate how to use this new algorithm. Considered the uncertainties, the optimal maintenance interval of preventive maintenance is not only a single value, but a possible range. The requirement from maintenance engineers is also considered, the maintenance window is made as a symmetrical interval format, like(100 ± 10) day. Comparing with the methods using in the literatures, the new algorithm is without requirement of distribution assumption of uncertain parameter values and computer simulation. 展开更多

This paper analyzes the impact of income distribution gap on consumption demand from a theoretical view,and draws the conclusion that there is an inverse relationship between income distribution gap and consumption demand.Then,the paper finds that the existing widening income distribution gap in China has a negative impact on consumption demand,but this is not the key factor for the insufficient consumption demand because of the low level of per capital income.At last,it suggests that governments should improve the income level of entire residents and adjust income distribution structure simultaneously. 展开更多

The protection device with low price and high maintenance cost can be used for a long time.In order to improve availability of protection system,a method of increasing redundancy and periodic replacement is proposed.Firstly,the equivalent model of cumulative failure probability was established.Then,the wasting time of the spare part is converted into the working time of the using part.Considering the optimization objective,under the strategy of block replacement,the availability model in infinite period with the maximum availability and the cost model in finite period with the minimum cost are established separately.In this case,we seek out the optimum replacement interval and verify the applicability and validity of the model through contrast and analysis.Finally,the paper gives a brief discussion of future research area about warm standby system maintenance. 展开更多
