According to this model,...This paper proposes a model of neural networks consisting of populations of perceptive neurons, inter-neurons, and motor neurons according to the theory of stochastic phase resetting dynamics. According to this model, the dynamical characteristics of neural networks are studied in three coupling cases, namely, series and parallel coupling, series coupling, and unilateral coupling. The results show that the indentified structure of neural networks enables the basic characteristics of neural information processing to be described in terms of the actions of both the optional motor and the reflected motor. The excitation of local neural networks is caused by the action of the optional motor. In particular, the excitation of the neural population caused by the action of the optional motor in the motor cortex is larger than that caused by the action of the reflected motor. This phenomenon indicates that there are more neurons participating in the neural information processing and the excited synchronization motion under the action of the optional motor.展开更多

Ca2C3 is fou...The systematic investigations of the mechanical, elastic, and electronic properties, and stability of the newly synthesized monoclinic C2/m-Ca2C3 are performed, based on the first-principles calculations. Ca2C3 is found to be mechanically and dynamically stable only from 0 GPa to 24 GPa. The elastic anisotropy studies show that Ca2C3 exhibits the elastic anisotropy increasing with the augment of pressure. Furthermore, using the HSE06 hybrid functional, the electronic properties of Ca2C3 under pressure are calculated. The structure can be regarded as a quasi-direct band gap semiconductor, and the pressure-induced direct-indirect band gap transition is studied in detail.展开更多
Interference significantly impacts the performance of the Global Navigation Satellite Systems(GNSS),highlighting the need for advanced interference localization technology to bolster anti-interference and defense capa...Interference significantly impacts the performance of the Global Navigation Satellite Systems(GNSS),highlighting the need for advanced interference localization technology to bolster anti-interference and defense capabilities.The Uniform Circular Array(UCA)enables concurrent estimation of the Direction of Arrival(DOA)in both azimuth and elevation.Given the paramount importance of stability and real-time performance in interference localization,this work proposes an innovative approach to reduce the complexity and increase the robustness of the DOA estimation.The proposed method reduces computational complexity by selecting a reduced number of array elements to reconstruct a non-uniform sparse array from a UCA.To ensure DOA estimation accuracy,minimizing the Cramér-Rao Bound(CRB)is the objective,and the Spatial Correlation Coefficient(SCC)is incorporated as a constraint to mitigate side-lobe.The optimization model is a quadratic fractional model,which is solved by Semi-Definite Relaxation(SDR).When the array has perturbations,the mathematical expressions for CRB and SCC are re-derived to enhance the robustness of the reconstructed array.Simulation and hardware experiments validate the effectiveness of the proposed method in estimating interference DOA,showing high robustness and reductions in hardware and computational costs associated with DOA estimation.展开更多

In engineering education, the work should not only be focused on the technical realization of virtual or remote access experiments, but also on the achievement of its pedagogical goals. In this paper, an interactive laboratory is introduced which is based on the online tutoring system, virtual and remote access experiments. It has been piloted in the Department of Electronic Science and Technology, HUST. Some pedagogical issues for electronic engineering laboratory design, the development of a multi-serverbased distributed architecture for the reduction of network latency and implementations of the function module are presented. We theoretically investigate a cooling scheme assisted by a quantum well(QW)and coherent feedback within a hybrid optomechanical system.Although the exciton mode in the QW and the mechanical resonator(MR)are initially...We theoretically investigate a cooling scheme assisted by a quantum well(QW)and coherent feedback within a hybrid optomechanical system.Although the exciton mode in the QW and the mechanical resonator(MR)are initially uncoupled,their interaction via the microcavity field leads to an indirect exciton-mode–mechanical-mode coupling.The coherent feedback loop is applied by feeding back a fraction of the output field of the cavity through a controllable beam splitter to the cavity’s input mirror.It is shown that the cooling capability is enhanced by effectively suppressing the Stokes process through coupling with the QW.Furthermore,the effect of the anti-Stokes process is enhanced through the application of the coherent feedback loop.This particular system configuration enables cooling of the mechanical resonator even in the unresolved sideband regime(USR).This study has some important guiding significance in the field of quantum information processing.展开更多
Aerial access networks are considered by one of the promising solutions for 6G technology with Unmanned Aerial Vehicles(UAVs)acting as aerial relays to fill coverage gaps,enhance line-of-sight communication,and improv...Aerial access networks are considered by one of the promising solutions for 6G technology with Unmanned Aerial Vehicles(UAVs)acting as aerial relays to fill coverage gaps,enhance line-of-sight communication,and improve network performance and user experience.To improve spectrum utilization,this paper studies a UAV-assisted wireless communication network based on Cognitive Radio(CR)and Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access(NOMA)technologies.Considering the presence of potential malicious eavesdroppers in complex practical communication scenarios,multiple transmitting nodes cooperate through UAVs.To enhance physical layer security performance,an efficient low-complexity transmitter-relay selection scheme is proposed,which selects the optimal transmitting node based on link channel quality,referred to as the Suboptimal Node Transmission Strategy(SNTS).To further enhance system security performance,another scheme is proposed,which selects the optimal transmitting node by maximizing the transmission capacity of the far user,known as the Optimal Node Transmission Strategy(ONTS).Under the decode-and-forward relay strategy,the security performance of the network under both schemes is studied.Under the joint constraints imposed by the primary interference power and secondary maximum transmission power,the secrecy outage probability for users is derived and validated through simulations.The results indicate that under identical conditions,as the number of transmitting nodes increases,the probability of establishing a line-of-sight link in ground-air communications rises,leading to a decrease in the system’s secrecy outage probability.Furthermore,in terms of multi-user diversity gain,ONTS significantly outperforms SNTS.However,the computational overhead of ONTS is relatively high.Therefore,when meeting the actual communication needs of users,a trade-off between complexity and performance must be considered.展开更多

Using the Ampere's law, in each core tape, the eddy current of the core lamination is equal to the arc current, and the relation of the thickness of the saturated regions for different laminations can be deduced. The total equivalent resistance of the snubber can be obtained. The transient eddy current model based on the stray capacitance and the equivalent resistance is analyzed, and the solving process is given in detail. The exponential time constant and the arc current are obtained. Then, the maximum width of the lamination and the minimum thickness of the core tape are determined. The experimental time constant of the eddy current obtained, with or without the bias current, is approximately the same as that by the analytical method, which proves the accuracy of the adopted assumptions and the analysis method.展开更多

For the traditional readout circuit structures are designed to process current signals, they cannot be applied to it. In this paper, a new readout circuit for the diode un-cooled infrared focal plane array is developed. The principle of detector array signal readout and small signal amplification is given in detail. The readout circuit is designed and simulated by using the Central Semiconductor Manufacturing Corporation (CSMC) 0.5 μm complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor transistor (CMOS) technology library. Cadence Spectre simulation results show that the scheme can be applied to the CMOS readout integrated circuit (ROIC) with a larger array, such as 320×240 size array.展开更多

Because people can travel between different cities, we study the effect of a population's mobility on the epidemic spreading. In view of the population's mobility, we suppose that the susceptible individual can be infected by an infected individual in the same city or other connected cities. The transformer core snubber (CS), as one of the most important components in the EAST (experimental advanced superconducting tokamak) NBI (neutral beam injector) system, is designed to limit grid damage and pro...The transformer core snubber (CS), as one of the most important components in the EAST (experimental advanced superconducting tokamak) NBI (neutral beam injector) system, is designed to limit grid damage and protect the ion source during periods of electrical breakdowns. A transformer core snubber is analyzed in detail in this paper. Several kinds of soft magnetic cores are presented and compared. With analysis and experiment on the basic characteristics of the cores, the most suitable materials are suggested. The circuit simulation code is established which could simulate faulty conditions with concentrated and distributed CS concepts. Based on the above work, an ion source CS is developed with series type of distributed topology. The CS has been subjected to experimental validation at 80 kV with a peak short-current of approximately 400 A in a real NBI system, which proves the accuracy of the adopted assumptions and the analysis method.展开更多
Laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy(LIBS) combined with K-means algorithm was employed to automatically differentiate industrial polymers under atmospheric conditions.The unsupervised learning algorithm K-means wer...Laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy(LIBS) combined with K-means algorithm was employed to automatically differentiate industrial polymers under atmospheric conditions.The unsupervised learning algorithm K-means were utilized for the clustering of LIBS dataset measured from twenty kinds of industrial polymers.To prevent the interference from metallic elements,three atomic emission lines(C I 247.86 nm,H I 656.3 nm,and O I 777.3 nm) and one molecular line C–N(0,0) 388.3 nm were used.The cluster analysis results were obtained through an iterative process.The Davies–Bouldin index was employed to determine the initial number of clusters.The average relative standard deviation values of characteristic spectral lines were used as the iterative criterion.With the proposed approach,the classification accuracy for twenty kinds of industrial polymers achieved 99.6%.The results demonstrated that this approach has great potential for industrial polymers recycling by LIBS.展开更多

This paper analyzes the code tracking performance of early-minus-late power (EMLP) discriminator of GNSS receivers in the presence of multipath and CW interference. An analytical expression of the code tracking error is suggested for EMLP discriminator, and it can be used to assess the effect of multipath and CW interference. The derived expression shows that the combined effects include three components: multipath component;CW interference component and the combined component of multipath and CW interference. The effect of these components depends on some factors which can be classified into two categories: the receiving environment and the receiver parameters. Numerical results show how these factors affect the tracking performances. It is shown that the proper receiver parameters can suppress the combined effects of multipath and CW interference.展开更多

From the theoretic analysis and simulation verification, it can be drawn that, for the estimation of chirp-rate and initial frequency, Pei's method [10] is more suitable if the absolute value of chirp-rate is small relatively; Ozaktas' method [9] is more suitable if the absolute value of chirp-rate is large relatively; and the two methods are both workable if the absolute value of chirp-rate is moderate. The scope of moderate chirp-rate can be approximately determined as [40 Hz/s, 110 Hz/s].

文摘According to the B-H curve and structural dimensions of the snubber by the Fink- Baker Method, the inductive voltage and the eddy current of any core tape with the thickness of the saturated regions are derived when the accelerator breakdown occurs. Using the Ampere's law, in each core tape, the eddy current of the core lamination is equal to the arc current, and the relation of the thickness of the saturated regions for different laminations can be deduced. The total equivalent resistance of the snubber can be obtained. The transient eddy current model based on the stray capacitance and the equivalent resistance is analyzed, and the solving process is given in detail. The exponential time constant and the arc current are obtained. Then, the maximum width of the lamination and the minimum thickness of the core tape are determined. The experimental time constant of the eddy current obtained, with or without the bias current, is approximately the same as that by the analytical method, which proves the accuracy of the adopted assumptions and the analysis method.

文摘The diode infrared focal plane array uses the silicon diodes as a sensitive device for infrared signal measurement. By the infrared radiation, the infrared focal plane can produces small voltage signals. For the traditional readout circuit structures are designed to process current signals, they cannot be applied to it. In this paper, a new readout circuit for the diode un-cooled infrared focal plane array is developed. The principle of detector array signal readout and small signal amplification is given in detail. The readout circuit is designed and simulated by using the Central Semiconductor Manufacturing Corporation (CSMC) 0.5 μm complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor transistor (CMOS) technology library. Cadence Spectre simulation results show that the scheme can be applied to the CMOS readout integrated circuit (ROIC) with a larger array, such as 320×240 size array.

文摘In this paper, chaos in a voltage-mode controlled buck converter is studied. The existence of chaos is proven theoretically in this system. The proof consists of showing that the dynamics of the system is semiconjugate to that of a one-sided shift map, which implies positive entropy of the system and hence chaotic behaviour. The essential tool is the horseshoe hypotheses proposed by Kennedy and Yorke, which will be reviewed prior to the discussion of the main finding.
文摘The influence of multi-photon pulses on practical differcBtial-phase-shift quantum key distribution (DPS-Qt(D) is analysed. We have estimated the information which Eve obtained by PNS (photon-number splitting) attack and BS (beam splitting) attack. The result indicates that the PNS attack and BS attack will not limit the transmission distance as long as we select an appropriate mean photon number. Also, the maximum mean photon number under BS attack in practical DPS-QKD system and the set of practical assumptions about Eve's capabilities are presented.

文摘In this paper, we study the dynamical behaviour of an epidemic on complex networks with population mobility. In our model, the number of people on each node is unrestricted as the nodes of the network are considered as cities, communities, and so on. Because people can travel between different cities, we study the effect of a population's mobility on the epidemic spreading. In view of the population's mobility, we suppose that the susceptible individual can be infected by an infected individual in the same city or other connected cities. Simulations are presented to verify our analysis.

文摘The first-order revision and the approximation analytical formula of the energy levels for hydrogen-likeatoms under the condition of Debye shielding potential are achieved by means of the Rayleigh-Schrodinger perturbationtheory; meanwhile, the corresponding recurrence relations are obtained from the use of the solution of power series. Basedon the above solutions and with the use of energy consistent method the equivalent value of second-order reversion underthe condition of Debye shielding potential is produced as well and the result is compared with the data obtained by thenumerical method. Besides, the critical bond-state and corresponding cut-off conditions are discussed.

文摘The transformer core snubber (CS), as one of the most important components in the EAST (experimental advanced superconducting tokamak) NBI (neutral beam injector) system, is designed to limit grid damage and protect the ion source during periods of electrical breakdowns. A transformer core snubber is analyzed in detail in this paper. Several kinds of soft magnetic cores are presented and compared. With analysis and experiment on the basic characteristics of the cores, the most suitable materials are suggested. The circuit simulation code is established which could simulate faulty conditions with concentrated and distributed CS concepts. Based on the above work, an ion source CS is developed with series type of distributed topology. The CS has been subjected to experimental validation at 80 kV with a peak short-current of approximately 400 A in a real NBI system, which proves the accuracy of the adopted assumptions and the analysis method.

文摘Laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy(LIBS) combined with K-means algorithm was employed to automatically differentiate industrial polymers under atmospheric conditions.The unsupervised learning algorithm K-means were utilized for the clustering of LIBS dataset measured from twenty kinds of industrial polymers.To prevent the interference from metallic elements,three atomic emission lines(C I 247.86 nm,H I 656.3 nm,and O I 777.3 nm) and one molecular line C–N(0,0) 388.3 nm were used.The cluster analysis results were obtained through an iterative process.The Davies–Bouldin index was employed to determine the initial number of clusters.The average relative standard deviation values of characteristic spectral lines were used as the iterative criterion.With the proposed approach,the classification accuracy for twenty kinds of industrial polymers achieved 99.6%.The results demonstrated that this approach has great potential for industrial polymers recycling by LIBS.
文摘Multipath and continuous wave (CW) interference may cause severe performance degradation of global navigation satellite system (GNSS) receivers. This paper analyzes the code tracking performance of early-minus-late power (EMLP) discriminator of GNSS receivers in the presence of multipath and CW interference. An analytical expression of the code tracking error is suggested for EMLP discriminator, and it can be used to assess the effect of multipath and CW interference. The derived expression shows that the combined effects include three components: multipath component;CW interference component and the combined component of multipath and CW interference. The effect of these components depends on some factors which can be classified into two categories: the receiving environment and the receiver parameters. Numerical results show how these factors affect the tracking performances. It is shown that the proper receiver parameters can suppress the combined effects of multipath and CW interference.
文摘Aimed at the properties of the absorption and the scattering of photons in the water, the process of simulating by Monte Carlo method is analyzed. According to the slope distribution of wavy surface of water, the distribution field of underwater laser is simulated, and some conclusions about the distribution field of laser through wavy surface in two different conditions are obtained. The characteristics of the distribution of laser in the seawater at the same depth with different water qualities and in the seawater at different depths with the same water quality are computed. The results are significant to the design of airborne oceanic lidar.
文摘Organic–inorganic halide perovskite(OIHP)solar cells have garnered great attention in the last decade since they continuously approach the Shockley–Queisser Limit.Compared with conventional organic and inorganic semiconductors,OIHPs possess the high tolerance on defects due to the dominated intrinsically shallow-level carrier-trapping centers.However,the existence of defects still causes the ion migration,produces the hysteresis effect,and accelerates the film degradation,eventually suppressing the device efficiency and stability.In this Review Article,we summarize recent impressive advance on passivating OIHP defects and discuss the future horizon of exploiting high-efficiency and long-stability OIHP solar cells in terms of defect managements.
文摘A simple and rapid process for synthesizing lead zirconate titanate,Pb(Zr0.52Ti0.48)O3(PZT),ferroclectric powders was developed.This process,combining the sol-gel and combustion process.offers several advantages over conventional methods.including rapid solution synthesis,use of commercially available materials lower synthesis temperature and ease of obtaining ultrafine powders.The precursor solution for synthesizing powders was prepared from lead nitrate.zireonium nitrate.titanium oxynitrate,citric acid and deionized water.The precarsor was investigated by DSC-TG,and the PZT powders were investigated by powder-XRD,IR spectra and TEM.XRD analysis shous that the powders possess a single phase perovskite type structure,no pyrochlore phase exists.and TEM image shows that the grain size of the powders is about 40nm.
