Energy-efficient retrofitting(EER)of existing buildings has significant potential for addressing energy and environmental issues.However,the traditional market trading model is characterized by an inefficient dissemin...Energy-efficient retrofitting(EER)of existing buildings has significant potential for addressing energy and environmental issues.However,the traditional market trading model is characterized by an inefficient dissemination of critical information,which leads to insufficient incentives for market participants to trade.To solve these problems,this study constructs a three-party evolutionary game model with energy saving service companies(ESCO),homeowners,and trading information platforms as the main players,analyzes the interaction and evolution of the three parties'strategies under the scenario of government rewards and penalties,and explores the effects of the three parties'initial willingness and changes of model parameters on the evolution of their strategies.There are some findings as follows:first,the positive transactions of homeowners and ESCOs have less influence on the platform side;second,compared with homeowners,the government penalties have more obvious constraints on the platform side and ESCOs;third,government subsidies and EER revenues are the important factors influencing the speed of the evolution of three-party strategies,fourth,platform service compensation,the factors governing cost and benefit sharing are pivotal in determining the alignment of strategic choices among the three parties involved.Based on the research conclusions.This study offers theoretical guidance for the advancement of platform-based market transactions for EER.展开更多

BACKGROUND Leiomyomatosis peritonealis disseminata(LPD)is a rare condition characterized by multiple pelvic and abdominal nodules,which are composed of smoothmuscle cells.To date,no more than 200 cases have been repor...BACKGROUND Leiomyomatosis peritonealis disseminata(LPD)is a rare condition characterized by multiple pelvic and abdominal nodules,which are composed of smoothmuscle cells.To date,no more than 200 cases have been reported.The diagnosis of LPD is difficult and there are no guidelines on the treatment of LPD.Currently,surgical excision is the mainstay.However,hormone blockade therapy can be an alternative choice.CASE SUMMARY A 33-year-old female patient with abdominal discomfort and palpable abdominal masses was admitted to our hospital.She had undergone four surgeries related to uterine leiomyoma in the past 8 years.Computed tomography revealed multiple nodules scattered within the abdominal wall and peritoneal cavity.Her symptoms and the result of the core-needle biopsy were consistent with LPD.The patient refused surgery and was then treated with tamoxifen,ulipristal acetate(a selective progesterone receptor modulator),and goserelin acetate(a gonadotropin-releasing hormone agonist).Both tamoxifen and ulipristal acetate were not effective in controlling the disease progression.However,the patient achieved an excellent response when goserelin acetate was attempted with relieved syndromes and obvious shrinkage of nodules.The largest nodule showed a 25%decrease in the sum of the longest diameters from pretreatment to posttreatment.Up to now,2 years have elapsed and the patient remains asymptomatic and there is no development of further nodules.CONCLUSION Goserelin acetate is effective for the management of LPD.The long-term use of goserelin acetate is thought to be safe and effective.Hormone blockade therapy can replace repeated surgical excision in recurrent patients.展开更多

The mainpurpose of...The effect of wind environment is becoming increasingly important in analyzing and selecting sites for better naturalventilation of residential buildings, external comfort, and pollution dispersion. The mainpurpose of this study was to develop a setof methods for wind environment assessment in coastal concave terrains. This set of methods can be used to provide quantifiableindicators of preferable wind conditions and help site analysis. Firstly, a total of 20 types of coastal bays with concave terrains inEast Asia were characterized to find ideal locations. The selected areas were divided into five categories according to the mainterrain features. Then a sample database for the concave terrains was compiled for modelling comparisons. Secondly, a number ofkey wind variables were identified. Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) models of the typical coastal concave terrains identifiedas a result of the study were created, and the local wind environments were simulated with input from geographic informationsystem (GIS) and statistic package for social science (SPSS) analysis. A measure of wind suitability was proposed that takes windvelocity and wind direction into account using GIS. Finally, SPSS was used to find the relationship between wind suitability andkey terrain factors. The results showed that wind suitability was significantly associated with terrain factors, especially altitude.The results suggest that residential building sites should be selected such that their bay openings face the direction of the prevailingwind and that the opposite direction should be avoided.展开更多
BACKGROUND Debate exists regarding the use of thermal ablation(TA)to treat papillary thyroid carcinoma(PTC).Some studies have recommended TA as a new,efcient and safe technology for PTC.In this article,we report one ...BACKGROUND Debate exists regarding the use of thermal ablation(TA)to treat papillary thyroid carcinoma(PTC).Some studies have recommended TA as a new,efcient and safe technology for PTC.In this article,we report one case of a residual tumor and central lymph node metastasis(CLNM)after TA for PTC.CASE SUMMARY A 63-year-old female underwent bilateral ultrasound(US)-guided radiofrequency ablation for PTC.Three months later,she was diagnosed as thyroid cancer with suspected CLNM by US and contrast-enhanced computed tomography.The subsequent fine-needle aspiration(FNA)biopsies were negative.Due to her strong personal preference,she underwent total thyroidectomy and central lymph node dissection.Local tissue adhesion and a difficult dissection were noted during the operation.The pathology of the frozen sections during the operation was still negative.The final pathology results of paraffin-embedded sections revealed residual tumor cells at the edge of the PTC and CLNM.CONCLUSION TA may lead to a residual tumor in patients with PTC.Follow-up using US and FNA biopsy may not be adequate to evaluate the residual tumor.TA should be carefully considered in PTC treatment.展开更多
BACKGROUND Papillary thyroid cancer(PTC)is the most common malignant tumor of the thyroid.However,the coexistence of PTC and sarcoma in one patient is rare.In this article,we report the case of a patient who presented...BACKGROUND Papillary thyroid cancer(PTC)is the most common malignant tumor of the thyroid.However,the coexistence of PTC and sarcoma in one patient is rare.In this article,we report the case of a patient who presented with both PTC and undifferentiated pleomorphic sarcoma(UPS),which has not been previously reported in the online Medline database(PubMed).CASE SUMMARY A 71-year-old man was admitted to our hospital for a mass on the right side of his neck for one month,which rapidly enlarged within 2 wk with distending pain.The patient was diagnosed with a thyroid malignancy by fine-needle aspiration and underwent total thyroidectomy and bilateral central lymph node dissection.Histology and immunohistochemistry revealed features of both PTC and UPS.The thyroid cancer 8 gene detection kit results showed BRAF and telomerase reverse transcriptase mutations.The disease progressed rapidly,and the patient died four months after surgery from extensive lung metastasis.CONCLUSION Our report highlights the patient’s pathological characteristics and related genetic mutations.Due to the rapid development and poor prognosis of cooccurring PTC and sarcoma,it is important for clinical physicians and pathologists to raise awareness of this type of tumor.展开更多

Climate change and urban heat islands are intensifying the frequency and severity of heatwaves,emphasizing the need for resilient and sustainable strategies to cool urban outdoor and indoor spaces.Urban trees are iden...Climate change and urban heat islands are intensifying the frequency and severity of heatwaves,emphasizing the need for resilient and sustainable strategies to cool urban outdoor and indoor spaces.Urban trees are identified as an effective solution,yet limited studies address how different tree deployment strategies enhance building thermal resilience against heatwaves.This study examines the impact of strategic urban tree deployment on building thermal resilience across a neighborhood in London,Canada.Two deployment strategies are assessed:a straightforward strategy based on outdoor temperature hotspots,and a more complex strategy based on building indoor heat stress.The analysis incorporates tree growth and its effect on canopy coverage.A coupled microclimate-building performance simulation evaluates outdoor and indoor thermal conditions,with thermal resilience quantified using a novel method integrating microclimate effects,heat stress intensity,and exposure duration.Results indicated that when canopy coverage increases from 6%to the Nature Canada-recommended 30%,both strategies achieve similar maximum reductions in building surrounding outdoor air temperature(4.0℃)and Standard Effective Temperature(6.9℃),as well as comparable reductions in indoor thermal stress.However,at lower canopy coverage levels(≤20%),the indoor based strategy achieves a more uniform resilience distribution and enhances thermal resilience for the majority of buildings with poorer baseline conditions.At 30%canopy coverage and above,the differences between the two strategies become less pronounced,making tree deployment based on outdoor temperature hotspots a straightforward yet effective strategy for improving neighborhood thermal resilience.展开更多

文摘The key to the healthy development of the market for green renovation of existing settlements lies in effectively playing the role of market resource allocation,and scientific evaluation of the current market operation efficiency is a prerequisite for the optimization and adjustment of market operation.Based on the perspective of market operation effectiveness,we start from the connotation and significance of the evaluation of the operation efficiency of the market of green renovation of existing settlements,construct the evaluation index system of the operation efficiency of the market of green renovation of existing settlements,use the hierarchical analysis method(AHP)and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method(Fuzzy),establish the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model,and finally,based on the operation process reengineering,financing model innovation,service platform expansion and market environment improvement,it structures the operation improvement path of the green renovation market of existing settlements and promotes the orderly operation of the green renovation market of existing settlements.
文摘The pull-out capacities for soil nailing systems comprising of one single 29 mm diameter(type A) and four 16 mm diameter(type B) rebars with grouted cement were examined.A field test and numerical analysis for the type A and type B systems were carried out to investigate the pull-out capacities and the slope stability reinforcement efficiency in soil and rock slopes.The results of the pull-out tests show the mobilized shear force and load transfer characteristics with respect to soil depth.The load-displacement relationship was examined for both type A and type B systems.Slope stability analyses were carried out to study the relationships between soil and nail reinforcement and bending stiffness as well as combined axial tension and shear forces.Factors of safety were calculated in relation to the number of nails and their outside diameters.Both soil and rock slopes were included in this evaluation.
文摘BACKGROUND Leiomyomatosis peritonealis disseminata(LPD)is a rare condition characterized by multiple pelvic and abdominal nodules,which are composed of smoothmuscle cells.To date,no more than 200 cases have been reported.The diagnosis of LPD is difficult and there are no guidelines on the treatment of LPD.Currently,surgical excision is the mainstay.However,hormone blockade therapy can be an alternative choice.CASE SUMMARY A 33-year-old female patient with abdominal discomfort and palpable abdominal masses was admitted to our hospital.She had undergone four surgeries related to uterine leiomyoma in the past 8 years.Computed tomography revealed multiple nodules scattered within the abdominal wall and peritoneal cavity.Her symptoms and the result of the core-needle biopsy were consistent with LPD.The patient refused surgery and was then treated with tamoxifen,ulipristal acetate(a selective progesterone receptor modulator),and goserelin acetate(a gonadotropin-releasing hormone agonist).Both tamoxifen and ulipristal acetate were not effective in controlling the disease progression.However,the patient achieved an excellent response when goserelin acetate was attempted with relieved syndromes and obvious shrinkage of nodules.The largest nodule showed a 25%decrease in the sum of the longest diameters from pretreatment to posttreatment.Up to now,2 years have elapsed and the patient remains asymptomatic and there is no development of further nodules.CONCLUSION Goserelin acetate is effective for the management of LPD.The long-term use of goserelin acetate is thought to be safe and effective.Hormone blockade therapy can replace repeated surgical excision in recurrent patients.

文摘The effect of wind environment is becoming increasingly important in analyzing and selecting sites for better naturalventilation of residential buildings, external comfort, and pollution dispersion. The mainpurpose of this study was to develop a setof methods for wind environment assessment in coastal concave terrains. This set of methods can be used to provide quantifiableindicators of preferable wind conditions and help site analysis. Firstly, a total of 20 types of coastal bays with concave terrains inEast Asia were characterized to find ideal locations. The selected areas were divided into five categories according to the mainterrain features. Then a sample database for the concave terrains was compiled for modelling comparisons. Secondly, a number ofkey wind variables were identified. Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) models of the typical coastal concave terrains identifiedas a result of the study were created, and the local wind environments were simulated with input from geographic informationsystem (GIS) and statistic package for social science (SPSS) analysis. A measure of wind suitability was proposed that takes windvelocity and wind direction into account using GIS. Finally, SPSS was used to find the relationship between wind suitability andkey terrain factors. The results showed that wind suitability was significantly associated with terrain factors, especially altitude.The results suggest that residential building sites should be selected such that their bay openings face the direction of the prevailingwind and that the opposite direction should be avoided.

文摘BACKGROUND Debate exists regarding the use of thermal ablation(TA)to treat papillary thyroid carcinoma(PTC).Some studies have recommended TA as a new,efcient and safe technology for PTC.In this article,we report one case of a residual tumor and central lymph node metastasis(CLNM)after TA for PTC.CASE SUMMARY A 63-year-old female underwent bilateral ultrasound(US)-guided radiofrequency ablation for PTC.Three months later,she was diagnosed as thyroid cancer with suspected CLNM by US and contrast-enhanced computed tomography.The subsequent fine-needle aspiration(FNA)biopsies were negative.Due to her strong personal preference,she underwent total thyroidectomy and central lymph node dissection.Local tissue adhesion and a difficult dissection were noted during the operation.The pathology of the frozen sections during the operation was still negative.The final pathology results of paraffin-embedded sections revealed residual tumor cells at the edge of the PTC and CLNM.CONCLUSION TA may lead to a residual tumor in patients with PTC.Follow-up using US and FNA biopsy may not be adequate to evaluate the residual tumor.TA should be carefully considered in PTC treatment.
文摘BACKGROUND Papillary thyroid cancer(PTC)is the most common malignant tumor of the thyroid.However,the coexistence of PTC and sarcoma in one patient is rare.In this article,we report the case of a patient who presented with both PTC and undifferentiated pleomorphic sarcoma(UPS),which has not been previously reported in the online Medline database(PubMed).CASE SUMMARY A 71-year-old man was admitted to our hospital for a mass on the right side of his neck for one month,which rapidly enlarged within 2 wk with distending pain.The patient was diagnosed with a thyroid malignancy by fine-needle aspiration and underwent total thyroidectomy and bilateral central lymph node dissection.Histology and immunohistochemistry revealed features of both PTC and UPS.The thyroid cancer 8 gene detection kit results showed BRAF and telomerase reverse transcriptase mutations.The disease progressed rapidly,and the patient died four months after surgery from extensive lung metastasis.CONCLUSION Our report highlights the patient’s pathological characteristics and related genetic mutations.Due to the rapid development and poor prognosis of cooccurring PTC and sarcoma,it is important for clinical physicians and pathologists to raise awareness of this type of tumor.
文摘The field tests were carried out to examine the reinforcement effect of a geogrid on various conditions of embankment height,the number of passages of vibratory roller,the number of reinforced layer of geogrid,and soil properties.The test results of the dynamic earth pressure indicate that the soil reinforced by geogrid is very effective to increase the stiffness of soil,especially in soft soil.The dynamic earth pressure ratio,which is defined as the ratio of dynamic earth pressure to self weight of soils,exponentially decreases as the embankment height increases.The dynamic earth pressure ratio increases up to 80% for soft soils reinforced by both one layer of geogrid in place of no reinforced soils and two layers in place of a single layer of geogrid.

文摘The investment risk management of the existing building energy-saving renovation project for ESCO cannot be separated from the scientific risk measurement and evaluation. The investment risk assessment is the basis of investment decision and project implementation. Based on the content analysis and balance of evaluation principle of investment risk evaluation on the existing building energy-saving renovation project, we set up three levels of existing building energy-saving renovation project investment risk evaluation index system, use fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to evaluate the quantitative process, get the scientific assessment of the investment risk of existing building energy-saving renovation project, and support the investment risk response strategy and control measures of existing building energy-saving renovation project for ESCO.
文摘BACKGROUND Sagliker syndrome(SS)resulting from uncontrolled secondary hyperparathyroidism(SHPT)in chronic renal failure(CRF)is seldom reported.CASE SUMMARY A 24-year-old woman presented with asymmetric facial deformity and stature shortening.She was diagnosed with SS,SHPT,CRF,and thyroid cancer.The patient underwent a total parathyroidectomy and thyroidectomy with central lymph node dissection.The patient’s condition was stable and was discharged from the hospital.CONCLUSION Undergoing dialysis vintage,presenting high serum phosphate levels,and female gender may be risk factors for SS.Intramembranous ossification in the craniomaxillofacial region is possibly activated in this special pathophysiological condition.What’s more,the choice of surgery mainly depends on the treatment goal and the experience of the individual surgeon.

文摘This paper systematically combs 416 literature on urban ecosystem services (UES) in China and other countries from 2010 to 2020,and carefully interprets the abstracts of 383 effective literature.According to the classification method of the research perspectives of ecosystem services proposed by Luederitz C,the literature is divided into six categories:ecology,governance,methods / tools / guidelines,social networking,economy and planning,and Excel and CiteSpace software were used for data statistical analysis and visual processing.The research shows that:in terms of research perspectives,foreign researches are evenly distributed in six categories:ecology,governance,methods / tools / guidelines,social networking,economy and planning,while domestic research perspectives are relatively concentrated in three categories:economy,governance,methods / tools / guidelines,and the proportion of economic category is particularly significant.In terms of research contents,there are more studies on climate governance,decision-making mechanism and method innovation abroad,while there are more studies on the measurement of carbon sequestration and oxygen releasing,the evaluation of ecological security pattern and the quantitative evaluation of UES’s economic value in China,and there are less studies on institutional organization structure and policy tools,innovative methods of UES’s value evaluation,the potential role of UES on some social phenomena,the relationship between UES and residents’ behavior and perception.

文摘This paper analyzes the government control of building energy efficiency in China from the aspects of policies and regulations, technical standards, pilot demonstration projects and economic means, and expounds the characteristics and problems of government regulation practice in China. It is found that the government regulation of building energy conservation in our country has some problems, such as imperfect system, weak incentive policy, imperfect management system, and the lack of public participation. Through the deep analysis of the existing problems, it is pointed out that the fundamental reason for the poor operation of China's building energy efficiency market lies in the lack of understanding of the building energy efficiency market, the lack of government administrative functions and the weak consciousness of the main body.

This paper analyzes the practical dilemma of energy-saving renovation of theexisting residential buildings in China, summarizes the practical experience of multi-subject and multi-objective integrated optimization of energy-saving renovation of the existing residential buildings in foreign countries, and puts forward beneficial practical enlightenment on the basis of comparison at home and abroad;The design principles of the target integrated optimization system have established a multi-subject and multi-objective integrated optimization system framework for the energy-saving renovation of the existing residential buildings, from six aspects: government guidance, trust consensus, value co-creation, risk sharing, revenue sharing, and social responsibility sharing. 文摘Climate change and urban heat islands are intensifying the frequency and severity of heatwaves,emphasizing the need for resilient and sustainable strategies to cool urban outdoor and indoor spaces.Urban trees are identified as an effective solution,yet limited studies address how different tree deployment strategies enhance building thermal resilience against heatwaves.This study examines the impact of strategic urban tree deployment on building thermal resilience across a neighborhood in London,Canada.Two deployment strategies are assessed:a straightforward strategy based on outdoor temperature hotspots,and a more complex strategy based on building indoor heat stress.The analysis incorporates tree growth and its effect on canopy coverage.A coupled microclimate-building performance simulation evaluates outdoor and indoor thermal conditions,with thermal resilience quantified using a novel method integrating microclimate effects,heat stress intensity,and exposure duration.Results indicated that when canopy coverage increases from 6%to the Nature Canada-recommended 30%,both strategies achieve similar maximum reductions in building surrounding outdoor air temperature(4.0℃)and Standard Effective Temperature(6.9℃),as well as comparable reductions in indoor thermal stress.However,at lower canopy coverage levels(≤20%),the indoor based strategy achieves a more uniform resilience distribution and enhances thermal resilience for the majority of buildings with poorer baseline conditions.At 30%canopy coverage and above,the differences between the two strategies become less pronounced,making tree deployment based on outdoor temperature hotspots a straightforward yet effective strategy for improving neighborhood thermal resilience.
