In nuclear power engineering,the quality requirements for concrete are extremely stringent.Concrete structures must exhibit high durability to withstand the effects of nuclear radiation,chemical corrosion,and environm...In nuclear power engineering,the quality requirements for concrete are extremely stringent.Concrete structures must exhibit high durability to withstand the effects of nuclear radiation,chemical corrosion,and environmental changes.In particular,nuclear power projects impose higher design standards and safety requirements regarding concrete density.Traditional manual vibration and visual inspection methods are difficult to ensure the required level of concrete compaction.This paper presents an intelligent vibration technology for concrete in nuclear power engineering to enhance construction quality and efficiency.By integrating intelligent sensors,control systems,and data processing algorithms,the technology enables real-time monitoring and evaluation of the vibration process.Results show that intelligent vibration technology effectively ensures the density and uniformity of concrete in nuclear power engineering,thereby improving structural safety and reliability.展开更多
Increasing importance of heat transfer in chemical engineering science causes that investigation in the field of enhancement techniques is always one of the up-to-date topics for study.In the current comparative analy...Increasing importance of heat transfer in chemical engineering science causes that investigation in the field of enhancement techniques is always one of the up-to-date topics for study.In the current comparative analysis,the thermal enhancement and friction penalty are explored numerically for curved tubes via twisted configuration.To accomplish this,three common geometries namely helical,serpentine,and Archimedes spiral,are considered at different coil-pitches and twist-pitches as well as five Reynolds numbers in the laminar flow regime.The results exhibit noticeable enhancements(up to 60%)in the thermal performance of the twisted cases as compared to the smooth cases.The highest increases are recorded for the serpentine case,followed by the helical and spiral cases.It is found that these enhancements vary via coil-pitch and twist-pitch.Increasing coil-pitch and twist-pitch augments both heat transfer coefficient and pressure drop in all curved-twisted tubes,however,the effects of twist-pitch are more pronounced.To predict Nusselt number and friction factor,new correlations are also proposed.The maximum deviations of the predicted results compared to the simulated data are within±5%.展开更多
In order to establish double antibody sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (DAS-ELISA) for detection of duck or goose flavivirus, polyclonal antibody against the flavivirus strain JS804 in geese and monoclonal...In order to establish double antibody sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (DAS-ELISA) for detection of duck or goose flavivirus, polyclonal antibody against the flavivirus strain JS804 in geese and monoclonal antibody against the E protein of flavivirus strain JS804 in geese were used as the capture antibody and detection antibody, respectively. The optimal dilution of the capture antibody and detecting antibody capable of detecting the flavivirus strain JS804 in geese were 1:3 200 and 1:160 in the check-board titration, respectively. The reaction time of sample was 1 h, and the optimal working dilution of HRP-labeled goat-anti-mouse IgG was 1:10 000. The positive standard value was 0.247 (OD450.m). The geese flavivirus could be detected at a minimal concentration of 1.875 μg mL^-1. The ELISA had no cross-reaction with Newcastle disease virus (NDV), Avian influenza virus (AIV), Infectious bronchitis virus (IBV), Infectious bursal disease virus (IBDV), Duck hepatitis virus (DHV), and Gosling plague virus (GPV). Twenty clinical samples were detected by the DAS-ELISA and RT-PCR respectively, with the agreement rate of 75%. The results revealed that the DAS-ELISA possessed favorable specificity and higher sensitivity, indicating a suitable method for rapid detection of the duck or goose flavivirus.展开更多

Ghrelin amplified from gastric mucosa of weaned piglets was cloned into the expression vector pcDNA3 to get recombinant plasmid pcDNA3 - Ghrelin. Twelve weaning rats were randomly divided into two groups, six rats each group. The rats in each treatment group were individually injected with 100pg of naked plasmid pcDNA3 -Ghrelin, and the rats in control group were injected with empty plasmid. The weights and feed consumption of rats were measured after injection for 7, 14 and 29 d, respectively. The rats were sacrificed at the end of the experiment, and their stomach was separated and weighed, the pH value of gastric juice was measured as well. The results showed that the average daily gain of rats at 7 and 29 d were significantly higher than that in control group, respectively (P〈0.05), and feed consumption did not have significant chan- ges; the feed meat ratio of rats in the treatment groups was significantly lower than that in control group ( P 〈0.05) ; the gastric relative weight and gastric weight did not change significantly, while the pH value of gastric juice of rats in treatment groups was significantly lower than that in control group (P 〈 0.05). To identify Suzhong swine individuals and trace the source of pork products, single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) identification of Suzhong swine individuals was studied. A total of 29 pairs of primers were designed and sev- en pairs of primers were used for identification of Suzhong swine individuals. The products amplified by seven pairs of primers could be directly sequenced, with clean sequencing map background and no ambiguity in sequence read. Totally 52 SNPs loci were amplified by seven pairs of primers, and 41 SNPs loci were reserved for identification of Suzhong swine individuals through correlation analysis and heterezygosity filtration ( H ≥0.1 ). Meantime, the digital barcodes for SNP identification of 96 individuals of Suzhong swine derived from seven boars and 12 sows were developed, which well distinguished 96 individuals of Suzhong swine. Theoretically, 41SNPs amplified by seven pairs of primers could be used for identification of 5.0 × 10^6 pig individuals. P1 antigen was detected both in vitro and in vivo by synthetic peptide-derived polyclonal antibody-based immunochemistry. The designed peptides were synthesized by solid-phase technique, purified by high performance liquid chromatography, coupled to Keyhole limpet hemocyanin, and injected into rabbits to prepare polyclonal antibody. The emergence of positive cells revealed that synthetic peptide could elicit antibodies against P1 and viral protein could be synthesized. The polyclonal peptide antibodies described here was successfully applied to immunochemical staining and proved helpful in diagnosing P1.展开更多

The Balb/c mice were inoculated with 200 μL of 1×10^6 TCID 50 /mL different strains of PCV2;the serum and tissues of mice were collected at different time. SYBR Green I fluorescent quantitative PCR was used to determine the viral titer in the serum and tissues of mice.[Result]The results indicated that the SYBR Green I PCR could speci fically detect PCV2 with high specificity. All strains were detected in the serum 14 d after infection, and 2007HA strain had the highest level of 1.21×10^8 copies/mL. The titers of all strains decreased 21 d after infection and then increased 28 d after infection. In addition, 2010NJ strain had the highest titer in serum 28 d after infection. The two PCV2b isolates, 2010NJ and 2009ZJ, had the highest titer in lungs and spleens. [Conclusion]All results showed that different PCV2 isolates have different proliferation ef ficiencies in Balb/c mice, even if they belong to the same subtype. In addition, the proliferation rate of 2009ZJ in visceral organs was significantly higher than that in serum. However, this phenomenon is not obvious for other strains. These results laid a foundation for the analysis of proliferation characteristics and pathogenicity of different PCV2 strains in vivo.展开更多

Primer and probe concentration that gave the highest ΔRn and the lowest Ct were selected to establish the real-time PCR system for the detection of M. hyopneumoniae. Template DNA of M. hyopneumoniae was extracted by boiling under different conditions and detected by real-time PCR to determine the optimal conditions for DNA extraction. Thereafter, intra-and inter-batch reproducibility tests were carried out using a standard plasmid to evaluate the stability of the PCR system. Subsequently, the effect of medium composition on the quantitative detection was evaluated. Finally, the correlation between real-time PCR and CCU method was explored. The optimal primer and probe concentration for real-time PCR were 0.4 and 0.2 μmol/L, respectively. The intra-and inter-batch coefficients of variation(CV) in Ct value of 10~4-10~9 copies/μl standard plasmid were <5%, indicating good reproducibility of the real-time PCR system. Following incubation in a boiling water bath for 10 min, M. hyopneumoniae samples can be used directly as a template in subsequent real-time PCR assays,and good intra-batch and inter-batch reproducibility was observed. The working concentration of KM2 medium should be less than the 1/10 of the concentration of the stock solution to minimize its influence on the quantitative detection. Spearman's correlation analysis revealed that the log of CCU and the log of DNA copy number had a significant positive relationship(r=0.797,P=0.000). Thus, the two methods can be used in combination in the quantitative detection of M. hyopneumoniae. In summary, a rapid, stable and accurate quantitative PCR system for detecting M. hyopneumoniae culture was established in this study, which provides a technical means for accurate quantification of M. hyopneumoniae in vaccine production and laboratory tests.展开更多

The RC nanoparticles are phase pureCeO_2; triangular highly crystallineCeCO_3OH nanoparticles are formed from the solution containing EG under the same hydrothermal reaction conditions at p H 8.5. EG plays an important role in the formation of the triangularCeCO_3OH nanoparticles. The polycrystallineCeCO_3OH nanoparticles retain their triangular structure even after calcination at 600℃in air but are transformed into a pureCeO_2 phase. The room temperature photoluminescence of the RC and RCE nanoparticles and of RCE calcined at 600℃[RCE-600] was also investigated. It was found that the high crystallinity triangular RCE-600 sample exhibits the highest photoluminescence intensity.展开更多

The temperatu...The temperature variability was studied using linear regression models, Man-Kendall (M-K) rank statistics, mean monthly and annual temperature anomalies, number of hot and cold days and nights per annum. The temperature time series (mean, minimum and maximum) has shown a warming trend of the local air during last two decades. The maximum and minimum of the monthly mean temperatures of 23.35°C and 13.25°C were observed in June and January, respectively. Similarly, the maximum and minimum temperature ranges of 13.4°C and 8.2°C were found in December and June. The ratios between the hottest and coldest month’s monthly mean maximum and monthly mean minimum temperatures were 1.039 and 1.033, respectively. The best fit linear line showed an increase of 0.048°C per annum in the annual mean temperature with a coefficient of determination of 52%. An overall increase of 1.01°C was found between 1985. The Mann-Kendall rank statistics test confirmed the warming trends of the local atmospheric environment of Abha city.展开更多

The long-term change in temperature has been assessed by Mann-Kendell rank statistics and linear trend analysis. The study also includes the estimation of hot and cold days and nights frequencies and finally the temperature anomalies on yearly basis. The ratio between the seasonal mean temperatures (Tmmean) of the daily mean of hottest (July) and coldest (January) months was 1.032. Similarly the ratios between the seasonal mean temperature of daily maximum (Tmmax) of hottest and coldest months was 1.033 while for seasonal mean temperature of daily minimum (Tmmin) was 1.030. Significant increase was observed in hot days per year and relatively smaller decrease in hot nights. Significant increase in summer time temperatures was confirmed by both linear regression analysis and M-K rank statistics. The monthly and annual mean maximum temperatures have increased more than the mean and mean minimum temperatures.展开更多

The results of the study indicate t...The paper presents the results of an on-site measurement carried out in the premises of a telecommunication building to explore avenues to reduce energy consumption in the building. The results of the study indicate that the building's fixed electrical load for powering landlines, mobile lines, and internet services is about 46% of the total building load. The chillers split A/C units and the air handling unit account for almost 47% of the power. Lights and other small equipment consume 7% of the total energy supplied to the building. Temperature measurements showed that the air conditioning system in the building was not functioning efficiently resulting in the generation of hot spots in several areas. The findings suggest that a thorough evaluation of the HVAC system in the building must be carried out to ensure an efficient operation of the existing cooling system to overcome uneven temperature buildup in different zones of the building.展开更多

Results indicate good agreement between measured and predicted GSR values for each of the 35 locations with known GSR values. Finally, the data from all available stations are used to train an abductive network to estimate the GSR values anywhere in the Kingdom based on latitude and longitude. GSR values are estimated using the developed method at 25 additional locations throughout the kingdom and used with the measured data from the 35 available measurement stations to draw a comprehensive contour map of GSR values for KSA.展开更多

The working concentration of KM2 medium should be less than the 1/10 of the concentration of the stock solution to minimize its influence on the quantitative detection. Spearman's correlation analysis revealed that the log of CCU and the log of DNA copy number had a significant positive relationship(r=0.797,P=0.000). Thus, the two methods can be used in combination in the quantitative detection of M. hyopneumoniae. In summary, a rapid, stable and accurate quantitative PCR system for detecting M. hyopneumoniae culture was established in this study, which provides a technical means for accurate quantification of M. hyopneumoniae in vaccine production and laboratory tests.

文摘Ru/CeO_2[RC] and Ru/CeO_2/ethylene glycol(EG) [RCE] nanoparticles were produced by performing a simple hydrothermal reaction at 200℃ for 24 h and found to have two distinct morphologies. The RC nanoparticles are phase pureCeO_2; triangular highly crystallineCeCO_3OH nanoparticles are formed from the solution containing EG under the same hydrothermal reaction conditions at p H 8.5. EG plays an important role in the formation of the triangularCeCO_3OH nanoparticles. The polycrystallineCeCO_3OH nanoparticles retain their triangular structure even after calcination at 600℃in air but are transformed into a pureCeO_2 phase. The room temperature photoluminescence of the RC and RCE nanoparticles and of RCE calcined at 600℃[RCE-600] was also investigated. It was found that the high crystallinity triangular RCE-600 sample exhibits the highest photoluminescence intensity.

文摘We characterized the genome sequences of defective-interfering(DI) particle DNA of porcine circovirus type 2(PCV2) by sequencing and bioinformatics analyses. DI particles were both generated by serial passage of PCV2 in PK15 cells and obtained from sera of pigs with postweaning multisystemic wasting syndrome(PMWS). These subviral isolates ranged from 358 nt to 1 125 nt genomes. Investigating the complexity and diversity of PCV2 DI in vivo and in vitro can help elucidating the evolutionary history of PCV2.
文摘The temperature variability was studied using linear regression models, Man-Kendall (M-K) rank statistics, mean monthly and annual temperature anomalies, number of hot and cold days and nights per annum. The temperature time series (mean, minimum and maximum) has shown a warming trend of the local air during last two decades. The maximum and minimum of the monthly mean temperatures of 23.35°C and 13.25°C were observed in June and January, respectively. Similarly, the maximum and minimum temperature ranges of 13.4°C and 8.2°C were found in December and June. The ratios between the hottest and coldest month’s monthly mean maximum and monthly mean minimum temperatures were 1.039 and 1.033, respectively. The best fit linear line showed an increase of 0.048°C per annum in the annual mean temperature with a coefficient of determination of 52%. An overall increase of 1.01°C was found between 1985. The Mann-Kendall rank statistics test confirmed the warming trends of the local atmospheric environment of Abha city.
文摘The extreme temperature trends are analyzed for a meteorological data collection station in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia over approximately last four decades stretching between years 1970 and 2006. The long-term change in temperature has been assessed by Mann-Kendell rank statistics and linear trend analysis. The study also includes the estimation of hot and cold days and nights frequencies and finally the temperature anomalies on yearly basis. The ratio between the seasonal mean temperatures (Tmmean) of the daily mean of hottest (July) and coldest (January) months was 1.032. Similarly the ratios between the seasonal mean temperature of daily maximum (Tmmax) of hottest and coldest months was 1.033 while for seasonal mean temperature of daily minimum (Tmmin) was 1.030. Significant increase was observed in hot days per year and relatively smaller decrease in hot nights. Significant increase in summer time temperatures was confirmed by both linear regression analysis and M-K rank statistics. The monthly and annual mean maximum temperatures have increased more than the mean and mean minimum temperatures.
文摘The paper presents the results of an on-site measurement carried out in the premises of a telecommunication building to explore avenues to reduce energy consumption in the building. The results of the study indicate that the building's fixed electrical load for powering landlines, mobile lines, and internet services is about 46% of the total building load. The chillers split A/C units and the air handling unit account for almost 47% of the power. Lights and other small equipment consume 7% of the total energy supplied to the building. Temperature measurements showed that the air conditioning system in the building was not functioning efficiently resulting in the generation of hot spots in several areas. The findings suggest that a thorough evaluation of the HVAC system in the building must be carried out to ensure an efficient operation of the existing cooling system to overcome uneven temperature buildup in different zones of the building.
文摘This paper uses Abductive network to predict global solar radiation in any location in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) based on sunshine duration, month number, latitude, longitude, and altitude of the location. Results indicate good agreement between measured and predicted GSR values for each of the 35 locations with known GSR values. Finally, the data from all available stations are used to train an abductive network to estimate the GSR values anywhere in the Kingdom based on latitude and longitude. GSR values are estimated using the developed method at 25 additional locations throughout the kingdom and used with the measured data from the 35 available measurement stations to draw a comprehensive contour map of GSR values for KSA.
