At present, the solution of the problem only takes kinematic or dynamic model into account separately...As one of the core issues of the mobile robot motion control, trajectory tracking has received extensive attention. At present, the solution of the problem only takes kinematic or dynamic model into account separately, so that the presented strategy is difficult to realize satisfactory tracking quality in practical application. Considering the unknown parameters of two models, this paper presents an adaptive controller for solving the trajectory tracking problem of a mobile robot. Firstly, an adaptive kinematic controller utilized to generate the command of velocity is designed based on Backstepping method. Then, in order to make the real velocity of mobile robot reach the desired velocity asymptotically, a dynamic adaptive controller is proposed adopting reference model and Lyapunov stability theory. Finally, through simulating typical trajectories including circular trajectory, fold line and parabola trajectory in normal and perturbed cases, the results illustrate that the control scheme can solve the tracking problem effectively. The proposed control law, which can tune the kinematic and dynamic model parameters online and overcome external disturbances, provides a novel method for improving trajectory tracking performance of the mobile robot.展开更多

Scholars have been paying close attention to theoretical research on and engineering applications of collaborative simulation ba...High level architecture(HLA) is the open standard in the collaborative simulation field. Scholars have been paying close attention to theoretical research on and engineering applications of collaborative simulation based on HLA/RTI, which extends HLA in various aspects like functionality and efficiency. However, related study on the load balancing problem of HLA collaborative simulation is insufficient. Without load balancing, collaborative simulation under HLA/RTI may encounter performance reduction or even fatal errors. In this paper, load balancing is further divided into static problems and dynamic problems. A multi-objective model is established and the randomness of model parameters is taken into consideration for static load balancing, which makes the model more credible. The Monte Carlo based optimization algorithm(MCOA) is excogitated to gain static load balance. For dynamic load balancing, a new type of dynamic load balancing problem is put forward with regards to the variable-structured collaborative simulation under HLA/RTI. In order to minimize the influence against the running collaborative simulation, the ordinal optimization based algorithm(OOA) is devised to shorten the optimization time. Furthermore, the two algorithms are adopted in simulation experiments of different scenarios, which demonstrate their effectiveness and efficiency. An engineering experiment about collaborative simulation under HLA/RTI of high speed electricity multiple units(EMU) is also conducted to indentify credibility of the proposed models and supportive utility of MCOA and OOA to practical engineering systems. The proposed research ensures compatibility of traditional HLA, enhances the ability for assigning simulation loads onto computing units both statically and dynamically, improves the performance of collaborative simulation system and makes full use of the hardware resources.展开更多

In addition, HAM is different from all other analytic techniques in providing a simple way to adjust and control convergence region of the series solution by means of an auxiliary parameter h. For multi-objective optimization model, most researches consider two objectives. A multi-objective mathematical model for VRP is proposed, which considers the number of vehicles used, the length of route and the time arrived at each client. Genetic algorithm is one of the most widely used algorithms to solve VRP. As a type of genetic algorithm (GA), non-dominated sorting in genetic algorithm-Ⅱ (NSGA-Ⅱ) also suffers from premature convergence and enclosure competition. In order to avoid these kinds of shortage, a greedy NSGA-Ⅱ (GNSGA-Ⅱ) is proposed for VRP problem. Greedy algorithm is implemented in generating the initial population, cross-over and mutation. All these procedures ensure that NSGA-Ⅱ is prevented from premature convergence and refine the performance of NSGA-Ⅱ at each step. In the distribution problem of a distribution center in Michigan, US, the GNSGA-Ⅱ is compared with NSGA-Ⅱ. As a result, the GNSGA-Ⅱ is the most efficient one and can get the most optimized solution to VRP problem. Also, in GNSGA-Ⅱ, premature convergence is better avoided and search efficiency has been improved sharply.展开更多

Collaborativ...A novel method for robust collaborative design of complex products based on dual-response surface (DRS-RCO) is proposed to solve multidisciplinary design optimization (MDO) problems under uncertainty. Collaborative optimization (CO) which decomposes the whole system into a double-level nonlinear optimization problem is widely accepted as an efficient method to solve MDO problems. In order to improve the quality of complex product in design process, robust collaborative optimization (RCO) is developed to solve those problems under uncertain conditions. RCO does optimization on the linear sum of mean and standard deviation of objective function and gets an optimal solution with high robustness. Response surfaces method is an important way to do approximation in robust design. DRS-RCO is an improved RCO method in which dual-response surface replaces system uncertainty analysis module of CO. The dual-response surface is the approximate model of mean and standard deviation of objective function respectively. In DRS-RCO, All the information of subsystems is included in dual-response surfaces. As an additional item, the standard deviation of objective function is added to the subsystem optimization. This item guarantee both the mean and standard deviation of this subsystem is reaching the minima at the same time. Finally, a test problem with two coupled subsystems is conducted to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of DRS-RCO.展开更多

Configuration design is considered effective in early stage of product design. This paper studies a configuration method based on constraints and fuzzy decision for product family. The configuration method is evolved from constraint based product configuration. It employs fuzzy optimum selection in the reasoning process, which can select similar components when customers’ requirements can not be met precisely. In the configurator, product family is represented with GBOM(Generic Bill Of Material) and ACL(Article Characteristic List). Every node of GBOM has an ACL to list all instances of a component family. Constraints are attached to every node, which involves variable definition and constraints definition. In the reasoning process, constraint satisfaction and fuzzy optimum selection interact to search optimum solution. A prototype is developted to demonstrate how to run the configurator. In order to study this system, the component based hybrid Petri net methodology (CpnHPN) is proposed, synthesizing a number of extended Petri net methods and using the concept of energy place, material place, and information place. Through the interface place in CpnHPN, the component based encapsulation is established, which enables the production and energy coupling system to be built, analyzed, and optimized on the multi-level framework. Considering the block and brief simulation for hybrid system, the CpnHPN model is simulated with Simulink/Stateflow. Conventional design methods often need exact modeling or accurate struct...Complex engineered systems are often difficult to analyze and design due to the tangled interdependencies among their subsystems and components. Conventional design methods often need exact modeling or accurate structure decomposition, which limits their practical application. The rapid expansion of data makes utilizing data to guide and improve system design indispensable in practical engineering. In this paper, a data driven uncertainty evaluation approach is proposed to support the design of complex engineered systems. The core of the approach is a data-mining based uncertainty evaluation method that predicts the uncertainty level of a specific system design by means of analyzing association relations along different system attributes and synthesizing the information entropy of the covered attribute areas, and a quantitative measure of system uncertainty can be obtained accordingly. Monte Carlo simulation is introduced to get the uncertainty extrema, and the possible data distributions under different situations is discussed in detail The uncertainty values can be normalized using the simulation results and the values can be used to evaluate different system designs. A prototype system is established, and two case studies have been carded out. The case of an inverted pendulum system validates the effectiveness of the proposed method, and the case of an oil sump design shows the practicability when two or more design plans need to be compared. This research can be used to evaluate the uncertainty of complex engineered systems completely relying on data, and is ideally suited for plan selection and performance analysis in system design.展开更多

The system architecture is designed in a compositional manner using the elements of agent technology and knowledge technology. A combination of generic agent models, ontology and knowledge provides an effective approach to address the dynamic, distributed and knowledge-intensive characters of the HR management. In the system, the broker agent acting as intermediary provides matchmaking services to the domain agents, and the individual domain agents communicate directly with each other. The HR ontology provides the semantic match of the surplus task and the surplus resource. Finally, an application example is presented to illustrate the achieved solution for a concrete scenario. This novel way offers a comprehensive HR exchange solution and is snitablc for both intra-organizational and inter-organizational HR management.展开更多

In the case that multiple users and multiple relays are taken into account, efficient resource allocation is important in such networks. In this paper, we consider the joint relay power control with amplify-and-forward(AF) strategy and dynamic pricing for uplink cellular networks in order to maximize the network administrator's system revenue. The system revenue is associated with pricing strategies and mobile users' random data request, which is supported by the relay assisted transmission. To deal with the problem of the coupling in pricing and relay resource allocation, we utilize Lyapunov optimization techniques to design online pricing and relay power control without any statistic information of random events in networks. Theoretical analysis shows that the proposed algorithm can achieve a near-optimal performance and simulation results also validate its effectiveness and robustness.展开更多

文摘According to the necessity of flexible workflow management system, the solution to set up the visualized workflow modelling system based on B/S structure is put forward, which conforms to the relevant specifications of WfMC and the workflow process definition meta-model. The design for system structure is presented in detail, and the key technologies for system implementation are also introduced. Additionally, an example is illustrated to demonstrate the validity of system.

文摘The production and energy coupling system is used to mainly present energy flow, material flow, information flow, and their coupling interaction. Through the modeling and simulation of this system, the performance of energy flow can be analyzed and optimized in the process industry. In order to study this system, the component based hybrid Petri net methodology (CpnHPN) is proposed, synthesizing a number of extended Petri net methods and using the concept of energy place, material place, and information place. Through the interface place in CpnHPN, the component based encapsulation is established, which enables the production and energy coupling system to be built, analyzed, and optimized on the multi-level framework. Considering the block and brief simulation for hybrid system, the CpnHPN model is simulated with Simulink/Stateflow. To illustrate the use of the proposed methodology, the application of CpnHPN in the energy optimization of chlorine balance system is provided.

文摘Complex engineered systems are often difficult to analyze and design due to the tangled interdependencies among their subsystems and components. Conventional design methods often need exact modeling or accurate structure decomposition, which limits their practical application. The rapid expansion of data makes utilizing data to guide and improve system design indispensable in practical engineering. In this paper, a data driven uncertainty evaluation approach is proposed to support the design of complex engineered systems. The core of the approach is a data-mining based uncertainty evaluation method that predicts the uncertainty level of a specific system design by means of analyzing association relations along different system attributes and synthesizing the information entropy of the covered attribute areas, and a quantitative measure of system uncertainty can be obtained accordingly. Monte Carlo simulation is introduced to get the uncertainty extrema, and the possible data distributions under different situations is discussed in detail The uncertainty values can be normalized using the simulation results and the values can be used to evaluate different system designs. A prototype system is established, and two case studies have been carded out. The case of an inverted pendulum system validates the effectiveness of the proposed method, and the case of an oil sump design shows the practicability when two or more design plans need to be compared. This research can be used to evaluate the uncertainty of complex engineered systems completely relying on data, and is ideally suited for plan selection and performance analysis in system design.
文摘The characteristics of design process, design object and domain knowledge of complex product are analyzed. A kind of knowledge representation schema based on integrated generalized rule is stated. An AND-OR tree based model of concept for domain knowledge is set up. The strategy of multilevel domain knowledge acquisition based on the model is presented. The intelligent multilevel knowledge acquisition system (IMKAS) for product design is developed, and it is applied in the intelligent decision support system of concept design of complex product.

文摘A computer system for human resource (HR) redistribution system is presented to solve the balance problem of the "surplus resources" and "surplus tasks" among a group of project units. The system architecture is designed in a compositional manner using the elements of agent technology and knowledge technology. A combination of generic agent models, ontology and knowledge provides an effective approach to address the dynamic, distributed and knowledge-intensive characters of the HR management. In the system, the broker agent acting as intermediary provides matchmaking services to the domain agents, and the individual domain agents communicate directly with each other. The HR ontology provides the semantic match of the surplus task and the surplus resource. Finally, an application example is presented to illustrate the achieved solution for a concrete scenario. This novel way offers a comprehensive HR exchange solution and is snitablc for both intra-organizational and inter-organizational HR management.
文摘An impulsive control scheme of the Lur' e system and several theorems on stability of impulsive control systems was presented,these theorems were then used to find the conditions under which the Lur' e system can be stabilized by using impulsive control with varying impulsive intervals.The parameters of Lur' e system and impulsive control law are given,a theory of impulsive synchronization of two Lur' e system is also presented. A numerical example is used to verify the theoretical result.

文摘In cellular networks, cooperative relaying is an economic and promising way to enlarge the network capacity and coverage. In the case that multiple users and multiple relays are taken into account, efficient resource allocation is important in such networks. In this paper, we consider the joint relay power control with amplify-and-forward(AF) strategy and dynamic pricing for uplink cellular networks in order to maximize the network administrator's system revenue. The system revenue is associated with pricing strategies and mobile users' random data request, which is supported by the relay assisted transmission. To deal with the problem of the coupling in pricing and relay resource allocation, we utilize Lyapunov optimization techniques to design online pricing and relay power control without any statistic information of random events in networks. Theoretical analysis shows that the proposed algorithm can achieve a near-optimal performance and simulation results also validate its effectiveness and robustness.
文摘The service quality of a workstation depends mainly on its service load, ifnot taking into account all kinds of devices' break-downs. In this article, an optimization modelwith inequality constraints is proposed, which aims to minimize the service load. A noveltransformation of optimization variables is also devised and the constraints are properly combinedso as to make this model into a convex one, whose corresponding Lagrange function and the KKTconditions are established afterwards. The interior-point method for convex optimization ispresented here as an efficient computation tool. Finally, this model is evaluated by a real example,from which conclusions are reached that the interior-point method possesses advantages such asfaster convergeoce and fewer iterations and it is possible to make complicated nonlinearoptimization problems exhibit convexity so as to obtain the optimum.

文摘The development of complex products is essentially concerned with multidisciplinary knowledge. Running on Internet, integration based on muhilayer federation architecture and dynamic reuse of simulation resources are the major difficulties for complex product collaborative design and simulation. Since the traditional Run-Time Infrastructure (RTI) is not good at supporting these new requirements, an extended high level architecture (HLA) multilayer federation integration architecture (MLFIA), based on the resource management federation (RMF) and its supporting environment based Service-oriented architecture (SOA) and HLA (SOHLA) are proposed, The idea and realization of two key technologies, the dynamic creation of simulation federation based on RMF, TH RTI, an extensible HLA runtime infrastructure (RTI), used at Internet are emphasized. Finally, an industry case about multiple unit (MU) is given.
