As the demands for environmental sustainability and the requirements to lower carbon emissions have escalated,New Energy Vehicles(NEVs)have emerged as a compelling substitute for fossil-fuel-run automobiles.Hence,a sm...As the demands for environmental sustainability and the requirements to lower carbon emissions have escalated,New Energy Vehicles(NEVs)have emerged as a compelling substitute for fossil-fuel-run automobiles.Hence,a smart energy management strategy has been developed to enhance the performance of NEVs,maximizing the sustainability of transportation systems and minimizing environmental impacts.The system combines different power reserves,includ-ing a photovoltaic(PV)generator,fuel cell(FC),and battery system,to provide a continuous energy supply,even when the vehicle is running.The Multi-Directional Power Transfer converter for the battery provides the required energy ad-aptation between the input and output.The FC and PV systems are all connected through a direct current/direct current converter to effectively charge the battery whenever excess energy is present.The new energy management technique called Optimized Ant Colony Algorithm is proposed to dynamically allocate power among the different power sources,improving system efficiency.Unlike traditional methods,the suggested approach actively optimizes energy flow accord-ing to actual demand and availability,minimizing energy losses and enhancing sustainability.The MATLAB/Simulink tool was used to simulate the energetic performance of an electric car utilizing the suggested approach.The performance of this multi-source power system is assessed by contrasting the energy the PV and FC generating devices offer,and the energy generation of each recharge system.Additionally,the battery power comparison validates the cost-effectiveness and sustainability of the proposed model in NEVs.Results designate a significant improvement in energy efficiency and overall NEV environmental sustainability within contemporary transportation networks.展开更多

Arguing that these effects: a single low cost is not only the criterion determining satisfaction. Other important factors, such as enterprise internal cognitive attitude,stability of the external environment,the quality of perceptions of government services can affect satisfaction. Within structural equation modeling( SEM) approach, six sets of hypotheses are drawn up and tested with a sample of 338 enterprises using questionnaires. Additionally,the analyses of findings introduce the crucial importance of these features in the assessment of satisfaction with business cost in Shanghai. Finally, the results show that internal cognitive has a positive impact on satisfaction. Stability of the external environment has a significant relationship with the effectiveness of government services. In Uganda, there is still insufficient comprehension of malaria as a lethal disease especially in rural areas despite universal bed-net distribution coverage and effective anti-malarial treatment. <strong>Aim:&l...In Uganda, there is still insufficient comprehension of malaria as a lethal disease especially in rural areas despite universal bed-net distribution coverage and effective anti-malarial treatment. <strong>Aim:</strong> To get evidence-based knowledge to establish the contribution of an individuals’ knowledge from various health communications that could increase their active involvement in health care especially seeking timely appropriate treatment for malaria or suspected malaria. <strong>Method:</strong> A cross-sectional survey using a correlational design was employed on a clustered sample of 380 rural households in 05 sub-counties of Kanungu district. Data were corrected between October 2016-January 2017 using researcher-administered questionnaires, key-informant interviews and focus group discussions. Correlation analysis was done. <strong>Result:</strong> There is a significant positive relationship between knowledge of health communications and treatment-seeking behavior (r = 0.312;<em>p</em> ≤ 0.01). <strong>Conclusion:</strong> Exposure to consistent Behavioral Change Communications messages influences treatment-seeking behaviour. Thus, in malaria-prone communities, it appears that other factors including sufficient targeted persuasive health communication are lacking in influencing personal orientations towards treatment-seeking behaviour. Therefore, proper Health Communications management supplements efforts from other disciplines and players, against malaria in Uganda.展开更多

The main contributions of this research are summarized as follows： Firstly, the proposed model of the product differentiation on business model performance lays the basis for scientific measurement of product differentiation and its effect on business model performance; Secondly, this research ranks the importance of product differentiation at different level in B2B market; Finally, this research provides a good reference for enterprises to update their product strategy for better business model performance.

文摘Surat city is continuously expanding with industrial development. Despite several flyovers, traffic congestion continues in the heart of city. Therefore, fresh transportation planning is at anvil. Simultaneously, further expansion plan is under consideration to create yet another, the 10th industrial zone. Purpose of this paper is to explore lean management based sustainable transport system for meeting the increasing needs of people and supply-chain. The research examines different mode of transportation like; vehicles on road, rail on the land, and steamers through the sea route to provide connectivity. This study may support the planners of the smart city. The study intends to find how lean management can be integrated to sustainable transport system meeting objectives of lean and sustainability both. Lean management system claims to be capable of eliminating all type of wastes including those associated with transport system. On the other hand, sustainable transport claims to meet the needs of people in personal economic lives, importantly respecting the need of future generations. Therefore, this applied research aims to find a lean and sustainable transport solution. This research work can be seen as descriptive type as it includes survey of location and fact finding enquiries.
文摘In Uganda, there is still insufficient comprehension of malaria as a lethal disease especially in rural areas despite universal bed-net distribution coverage and effective anti-malarial treatment. <strong>Aim:</strong> To get evidence-based knowledge to establish the contribution of an individuals’ knowledge from various health communications that could increase their active involvement in health care especially seeking timely appropriate treatment for malaria or suspected malaria. <strong>Method:</strong> A cross-sectional survey using a correlational design was employed on a clustered sample of 380 rural households in 05 sub-counties of Kanungu district. Data were corrected between October 2016-January 2017 using researcher-administered questionnaires, key-informant interviews and focus group discussions. Correlation analysis was done. <strong>Result:</strong> There is a significant positive relationship between knowledge of health communications and treatment-seeking behavior (r = 0.312;<em>p</em> ≤ 0.01). <strong>Conclusion:</strong> Exposure to consistent Behavioral Change Communications messages influences treatment-seeking behaviour. Thus, in malaria-prone communities, it appears that other factors including sufficient targeted persuasive health communication are lacking in influencing personal orientations towards treatment-seeking behaviour. Therefore, proper Health Communications management supplements efforts from other disciplines and players, against malaria in Uganda.
