Among many possible precursors the most reliable are the geoelectromagnetic field, the boreholes water level, radon earth-surface concentration, the local heat flow, ionosphere variables, low frequency atmosphere and Earth core waves. The title demonstrates that only geomagnetic data are used in this study. Within the framework of geomagnetic quake approach it is possible to perform an imminent regional seismic activity forecasting on the basis of simple analysis of geomagnetic data which use a new variable SChtM with dimension surface density of energy. Such analysis of Japan Memambetsu, Kakioka, Kanoya INTERMAGNET stations and NEIC earthquakes data, the hypothesis that the “predicted” earthquake is this with biggest value of the variable SChtM permits to formulate an inverse problem (overdetermined algebraic system) for precursor’s signals like a function of earthquake’s magnitude, depth and distance from a monitoring point. Thus, in the case of data acquisition network system existence, which includes monitoring of more than one reliable precursor variables in at least four points distributed within the area with a radius of up to 700 km, there will be enough algebraic equations for calculation of impending earthquake’s magnitude, depth and distance, solving the overdetermined algebraic system.展开更多

The HL-60 cell lines were stimulated in vitro with LPS intravenously for different time to establish the cellular model of inflammation and simultaneously induce in vivo inflammation animal model by LPS The cytotoxic effects of soluble TNFa were checked using MTT colorimetric method to determine the rate of cell proliferation. The level of expression of TACE was detected by using RT-PCR, FCM and immuno-histochemical technique respectively. It was found Chinese medicine Reduqing (RDQ) could inhibit the transcription of TNFa mRNA induced by LPS stimulation (P<0. 01, compared with the control). The anti-oligodeoxyribonucleotide (anti-ODN) of TNFα mRNA could inhibit 78. 9 % of TNFα secretion. The mimic peptides of TACE substrates with hydroxamine group showed potency in vivo and in vitro a-gainst converting of pro-TNFα. It was concluded that all the three types of TACE inhibitors can regulate the expression of TACE at different levels and inhibit sTNFα secretion, indicating TACE is a novel target for inflammation therapy.展开更多

Atomic force microscopy (AFM) was applied to characterize its surface morphology. Electrodeposited Pd nanoparticles exhibited efficiently electrocatalytic oxidation for hydrogen peroxide (H_2O_2) with relatively high sensitivity and stability, which was studied by CV technique and Raman spectroscopy, respectively. The GC/Pd/GOD/Nafion system allowed a low working potential of +0.3 V (vs. SCE). Its signal current was linearly related to the glucose concentration in the range of 1.0×10 -6 —1.2×10 -4 mol·L -1 with a detection limit of 5.0×10 -7 mol·L -1 . The sensor required no special pretreatment to suppress interference from urate and L-ascorbate. It was successfully used in detection of glucose level in human urine with high stability, sensitivity and anti-poisoning ability .展开更多

The study group comprised 72 patients undergoing renal biopsy. Patient profiles and renal function were collected. Concentrations of renalase and Bcl-2 were measured by immunohistochemistry. Tubular injury was detected by periodic acid Schiff staining (PAS) and renal tubular epithelial cell apoptosis was assessed by TUNEL assay. The expression of renalase was significantly lower in renal biopsy specimens than in normal kidney tissues. There was a positive linear relationship between renalase and some serum and cardiac indices; a negative correlation was found between age, eGFR, Ccr and 24-h urinary protein. Renal tubule injury index and tubular epithelial cell apoptosis index showed a negative linear correlation with renalase. The results showed that renalase probably increased the expression of Bel-2. By two independent samples t-test, renalase levels were significantly increased in the non-hypertension group than in the hypertension group. One-way ANOVA showed that renalase expression was higher in samples with Lee's grade Ⅲ than in those with Lee's grade V. The expression of renalase was significantly decreased in patients who underwent renal biopsy, and was also associated with blood and renal function. The research proved that renalase may reduce renal tubular injury and apoptosis of renal tubular epithelial cells through the mitochondrial apoptosis pathway, finally achieving the purpose of delaying the progress of renal failure.展开更多

Two kinds of memories are defined: statistical memory and deterministic memory. The former is defined through the autocorrelation characteristic of the process if it is random (chaotic), while for the latter, a special memory function is introduced. Three of the numerous existing models are selected as examples. For each of the models, asymptotic (at t →∞) expressions are derived. In this way, the transients are filtered out and that which remains concerns the final behaviour of the models.展开更多

A possible solution to this problem is proposed herein based on the analysis of the physicochemical processes as participants in earthquake preparation and on the characteristic rate of reflection of these processes on the Earth’s surface. The proposed procedure includes monitoring of correlation of electromagnetic fields variations with tidal waves.?This solution provides a way of selecting a complex of reliable earthquake precursors using the Inverse Problem Method for earthquakes which will occur in the region around the monitoring point (radial distance ≈ 700 km) in the next seven-day period [1].展开更多

The method is based on the principle of tomography with Earthquake as a source of the signal and receiver stations on the surface. The wave propagation in solid media is described by a system of three strongly coupled hyperbolic equations with piece - wise constant coefitients. The characteristic set and hi-characteristic curves of this system are computed in a homogeneous half-space with free boundary and the formulae of reflection and diffraction of the hi-characteristics on the internal boundaries of the media. Applications of the characteristic set and bi-eharacteristic curves for the inverse problem in geophysics and Earth modelling are given.展开更多

The study aimed to investigate the determinants of the low proportion of pregnant women seen for first antenatal care in the first trimester of pregnancy at the urban medical center of Koudougou, Burkina Faso. Materials and Methods: This was a cross-sectional study with data collection from June 08 to August 18, 2021. It involved a sample of 302 participants including 280 pregnant women and 22 maternity providers. Semi-structured individual interviews, non-participant observation, and a literature review were used. Results: Pregnant women age 20 and over, knowledge of the date of their last menstrual period, and knowledge of the antenatal care calendar were associated with coming into contact (1) with Antenatal care in the first trimester of pregnancy. In addition, there was a lack of availability of antenatal care services, inadequate reception of clients, and shortages of health products. Conclusion: There is a need to revisit strategies for communicating with women about ANC, reorganizing ANC services, and improving ANC services.展开更多

文摘The relationship between the levels of renalase and changes in proteinuria, hypertension, renal function, renal tubular epithelial cell apoptosis and B-cell lymphoma-2 (Bcl-2) expression was investigated in patients (chronic nephritis, primary nephrotic syndrome or other kidney disease) that underwent renal biopsy. The research proved that renalase may reduce renal tubular injury and apoptosis of renal tubular epithelial cells through the mitochondrial apoptosis pathway, finally achieving the purpose of delaying the progress of renal failure.
文摘This article examines some general atmospheric circulation and climate models in the context of the notion of “memory”. In this way, the transients are filtered out and that which remains concerns the final behaviour of the models.
文摘It is already well known that the “when, where and how strong” earthquake prediction problem cannot be solved by only analyzing the database from former earthquakes. A possible solution to this problem is proposed herein based on the analysis of the physicochemical processes as participants in earthquake preparation and on the characteristic rate of reflection of these processes on the Earth’s surface. The proposed procedure includes monitoring of correlation of electromagnetic fields variations with tidal waves.?This solution provides a way of selecting a complex of reliable earthquake precursors using the Inverse Problem Method for earthquakes which will occur in the region around the monitoring point (radial distance ≈ 700 km) in the next seven-day period [1].

文摘In this paper,an irregular displacement-based lensless wide-field microscopy imaging platform is presented by combining digital in-line holography and computational pixel super-resolution using multi-frame processing. The samples are illuminated by a nearly coherent illumination system, where the hologram shadows are projected into a complementary metal-oxide semiconductor-based imaging sensor. To increase the resolution,a multi-frame pixel resolution approach is employed to produce a single holographic image from multiple frame observations of the scene, with small planar displacements.Displacements are resolved by a hybrid approach:(i)alignment of the LR images by a fast feature-based registration method, and(ii)fine adjustment of the sub-pixel information using a continuous optimization approach designed to find the global optimum solution.Numerical method for phase-retrieval is applied to decode the signal and reconstruct the morphological details of the analyzed sample. The presented approach was evaluated with various biological samples including sperm and platelets, whose dimensions are in the order of a few microns. The obtained results demonstrate a spatial resolution of 1.55 μm on a field-of-view of<30 mm^(2).
文摘The aim of this paper is the introduction of a new approach to 3D modelling of elastic piecewise homogeneous media, in particular Earth crust and upper Mantle. Applications of the characteristic set and bi-eharacteristic curves for the inverse problem in geophysics and Earth modelling are given.
文摘Introduction: Antenatal care (ANC) contributes to the reduction of maternal and neonatal morbidity and mortality. Conclusion: There is a need to revisit strategies for communicating with women about ANC, reorganizing ANC services, and improving ANC services.

文摘The occurrence of seven endocrine-disrupting compounds(EDCs)in four urban rivers on the southern border of Mexico was studied in this work. The selected EDCs were 17b-estradiol(E2),estriol(E3),17aethinylestradiol(EE2),bisphenol A(BPA),bisphenol F(BPF),4-nonylphenol(4NP)and 4-tert-octylphenol(4TOP).Water samples from the Coatan,Texcuyuapan,Cahoacan, and Coatancito rivers were collected at three different sites on each river and processed by solid phase extraction(SPE).The samples were analyzed by gas chromatography triple quadrupole tandem mass spectrometry(GC-MS/MS)and compounds of interest were identified by dynamic mass reaction monitoring mode(dMRM).Among the target EDCs,E2,BPA,and 4NP were detected in all water samples, with BPA being the most abundant ranging from 4.22 up to 127.96 ng/L.Correlation tests showed significant positive associations between estrogens and BPA,as well as the correlation between alkylphenols and BPA,suggesting common origin emission sources, which were identified as discharges of untreated municipal wastewater. Finally, the estimation of RQ and EEQ values indicated that the presence of E2,E3,EE2,and BPA in all sampled points represents a high risk for aquatic life in these sites, mainly for Texcuyuapan River, where the aquatic organisms may be susceptible to endocrine disruption by chronic exposure to detected compounds.

文摘Dear Editor,The Hippo tumor suppressor pathway plays an important role in development and tumorigenesis.Yes-associated protein(YAP)is a major effector of the Hippo pathway regulating the expression of genes involved in cell proliferation, cell death, and cell differentiation(Pan,2010;Johnson and Haider,2014;Piccolo etal.,2014;Yu etal.,2015).In intestine,YAP is mainly expressed in leucine rich repeat containing G protein-coupled receptor 5(LGR5)marked stem cells, and is required for regeneration following tissue damage and the development of colon cancer in mice(Cai etal.,2010;Barry etal.,2013;Wang etal.,2017).Moreover,in colorectal cancer(CRC)specimens, elevated YAP expression and activity is frequently observed(Steinhardt et al.,2008).It has been shown that high YAP expression is associated with cancer metastasis, poor prognosis, resistance to chemotherapy, and greater possibility of relapse(Johnson and Haider,2014;Yu etal.,2015).

文摘Solid-state batteries(SSBs)are a promising next step in electrochemical energy storage but are plagued by a number of problems. In this study,we demonstrate the recurring issue of mechanical degradation because of volume changes in layered Ni-rich oxide cathode materials in thiophosphate-based SSBs.Specifically,we explore superionic solid electrolytes(SEs)of different crystallinity, namely glassy 1.5Li_(2)S-0.5P_(2)S_(5)-LiI and argyrodite Li_(6)PS_(5)Cl,with emphasis on how they affect the cyclability of slurry-cast cathodes with NCM622(60%Ni)or NCM851005(85%Ni).The application of a combination of ex situ and in situ analytical techniques helped to reveal the benefits of using a SE with a low Young’s modulus.Through a synergistic interplay of(electro)chemical and(chemo)mechanical effects, the glassy SE employed in this work was able to achieve robust and stable interfaces, enabling intimate contact with the cathode material while at the same time mitigating volume changes. Our results emphasize the importance of considering chemical, electrochemical, and mechanical properties to realize long-term cycling performance in high-loading SSBs.
