Methods A total of 66 post-stroke depression patients were randomized int...Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of electroacupuncture （EA） of ＂Niwan Bazhen＂ points in the treatment of post-stroke depression. Methods A total of 66 post-stroke depression patients were randomized into treatment group （EA＋oral administration of Prozac-20, n =31 ） and control group （o- ral administration of Prozac-20, 20 mg/d, 28 days altogether, n =30）. For patients of treatment group, EA （2/100 Hz, a tolerable stimulation strength） was applied to ＂Niwan Bazhen＂ points [Baihui （百会 GV20）, etc. ] for 30 min, once daily, （except weekends） continuously for one month. Halmiton Rating Scale （HAMD） for Depression and Chinese Scale for Stroke （CSS） were used to evaluate the therapeutic effect. Results After the treatment, of the 30 and 31 cases in control and treatment groups, 4 and 6 were cured, 10 and 14 experienced marked improvement.in their symptoms, 6 and 7 had an improvement, 6 and 4 failed, with the cure＋ markedly effective rates being 46.7% and 64.5% respectively. The therapeutic effect of treatment group was significantly superior to that of control group （ P〈0.05）. The decreased values of both HAMD and C,,SS of treatment group were remarkably lower than those of control group （P〈0.01,0.05） . Conclusion EA of ＂Niwan Bazhen＂ points is an effective remedy for post-stroke depression.展开更多

The creation of a national unified textbook on acupuncture was a critical effort by China to standardize traditional Chinese medicine.In the early People’s Republic of China,the development of acupuncture textbooks f...The creation of a national unified textbook on acupuncture was a critical effort by China to standardize traditional Chinese medicine.In the early People’s Republic of China,the development of acupuncture textbooks followed a complex trajectory.It began with Zhu Lian’s(朱琏)Xin Zhen Jiu Xue(《新针灸学》New Acupuncture and Moxibustion),extending the Yan’an(延安)tradition,and moved to Zhen Jiu Xue(《针灸学》Acupuncture and Moxibustion,1957),a localized effort from the Jiangsu Provincial Chinese Medicine School.This culminated in the national Zhen Jiu Xue Jiang Yi(《针灸学讲义》Lectures on Acupuncture and Moxibustion).This process reflects a shift from regional teaching to a standardized national model,as well as a pedagogical transformation from a scientific approach to a return to classical sources.The textbook centers on Bian Zheng Lun Zhi(辨证论治treatment based on pattern differentiation),blending systematic,scientific,and practical elements,and represents the era’s fusion of Chinese and Western medicine,helping to shape a modern acupuncture framework.展开更多
目的观察不同穴位针刺治疗无先兆偏头痛的临床疗效及对患者血清降钙素基因相关肽(calcitonin gene-related peptide,CGRP)和5-羟色胺(5-hydroxytrptamine,5-HT)水平的影响。方法将60例无先兆偏头痛患者随机分为观察组和对照组,每组30例...目的观察不同穴位针刺治疗无先兆偏头痛的临床疗效及对患者血清降钙素基因相关肽(calcitonin gene-related peptide,CGRP)和5-羟色胺(5-hydroxytrptamine,5-HT)水平的影响。方法将60例无先兆偏头痛患者随机分为观察组和对照组,每组30例。对照组采用常规针刺治疗,观察组采用“头七针”针刺治疗。观察两组治疗前后和随访时视觉模拟量表(visual analog scale,VAS)评分、头痛症状评分及偏头痛-特异生活质量问卷(migraine-specific quality of life,MSQOL)评分的变化,观察两组治疗前后血清CGRP和5-HT水平,并比较两组临床疗效和不良反应发生情况。结果两组治疗后和随访时VAS评分低于治疗前(P<0.05);对照组随访时VAS评分低于治疗后(P<0.05);观察组治疗后和随访时VAS评分低于对照组(P<0.05)。两组治疗后和随访时头痛症状评分低于治疗前(P<0.05);观察组治疗后和随访时头痛症状评分低于对照组(P<0.05)。对照组随访时MSQOL评分高于治疗前(P<0.05);观察组治疗后和随访时MSQOL评分高于治疗前,随访时高于治疗后,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);观察组治疗后和随访时MSQOL评分高于对照组(P<0.05)。治疗后,两组血清CGRP水平较治疗前降低(P<0.05),血清5-HT水平较治疗前升高(P<0.05),且观察组上述指标均优于对照组(P<0.05)。观察组治疗后总有效率为86.7%,高于对照组的63.3%(P<0.05)。观察组随访时总有效率为83.3%,高于对照组的53.3%(P<0.05)。两组均未发生不良反应。结论“头七针”针刺与常规针刺治疗无先兆偏头痛均有效。“头七针”针刺在缓解疼痛、提高生活质量方面优于常规针刺,可能与调节血清CGRP和5-HT水平有关。展开更多
