However, due to fabrication issues, the frequencies of SAW devices are typically limited to within a few gigahertz, which severely restricts their applications in 5G communication, precision sensing, photonics, and quantum control. To solve this critical problem, we propose a hybrid strategy that integrates a nanomanufacturing process (i.e., nanolithography) with a LiNbO_(3)/SiO_(2)/SiC heterostructure and successfully achieve a record-breaking frequency of about 44 GHz for SAW devices, in addition to large electromechanical coupling coefficients of up to 15.7%. We perform a theoretical analysis and identify the guided higher order wave modes generated on these slow-on-fast SAW platforms. To demonstrate the superior sensing performance of the proposed ultra-high-frequency SAW platforms, we perform micro-mass sensing and obtain an extremely high sensitivity of approximately 33151.9 MHz·mm2·μg−1, which is about 1011 times higher than that of a conventional quartz crystal microbalance (QCM) and about 4000 times higher than that of a conventional SAW device with a frequency of 978 MHz.展开更多

We observed a similar phenomenon for all recently recorded earthquakes from January 2009 through August 2013. Frequency distributions with increments of M = 0.1 verified the trough of the diminished incidence to be between M = 3.6 and 3.7 with an abrupt increase between M = 3.9 and 4.0. The calculated equivalent photon wavelength for the energies associated with M = 3.6 approaches Planck’s Length while the related time increment is the cutoff frequency for the Zero Point Fluctuation force coupled to gravity. The conspicuous congruence between Planck’s time and length and the lower than expected frequency based upon Gaussian assumptions of distribution for the discrete band of energy associated with this magnitude range of earthquakes suggests a conduit may exist between intrinsic features of Planck space-time and geophysical processes. The existence of such a connection would encourage alternative explanations for sun-seismic activities as due to solar instabilities. Instead, it may reflect influence upon both from alterations in the structure of space being traversed by the solar system as it moves through the galaxy.展开更多

The SFG spectra of the three nature sphingomyelin/cholesterol mixture monolayers with two concentrations of the cholesterol at the air/water interface are performed under different polarization combination. A new resolved CH2 symmetric stretching (d+, ~2834 cm-1) and the CH3 symmetric stretching (r+, ~2874 cm-1) mode are applied to characterize the conformational order in the sphingomyelin/cholesterol mixture monolayers. It was found that the cholesterol make the sphingosine backbones more conformational order. During this process, the conformational order of the N-linked acyl chain remains unaltered. Moreover, the sphingosine backbones of SMs have much larger contributions to gauche defects of SMs than one in the N-linked acyl chain. These results presented here not only shed lights on understanding of the interactions of sphingomyelin molecules with cholesterol molecules at interface but also demonstrates the ability of HR-BB-SFG to probe such complicated molecular systems.展开更多

The second-order wave force is calculated using the full-field quadratic transfer function(QTF). The coupled effect of the horizontal motions, such as surge, sway and yaw motions, and the set-down motion are taken into consideration by the nonlinear restoring matrix. The time-domain analysis with 50-yr random sea state is performed. A comparison of the results of different case studies is made to assess the influence of second-order wave force on the motions of the platform. The analysis shows that the second-order wave force has a major impact on motions of the TLP. The second-order difference-frequency wave force has an obvious influence on the low-frequency motions of surge and sway, and also will induce a large set-down motion which is an important part of heave motion. Besides, the second-order sum-frequency force will induce a set of high-frequency motions of roll and pitch. However, little influence of second-order wave force is found on the yaw motion.展开更多

The dependence is investigated via detailed analysis of the classical trajectories of the ionized electron moving in the continuum in the velocity-position plane. The classical trajectory consists of three sections (Acceleration Away, Deceleration Away, and Acceleration Back), and their relationship with the electron recollision energy is investigated. The analysis of classical trajectories indicates that, besides the final (Acceleration Back) section, the electron recollision energy also relies on the previous two sections. We simultaneously optimize the waveform in all three sections to increase the electron recollision energy, and an extension of the cutoff frequency up to Ip + 20.26Up is presented with a theoretically synthesized waveform of the laser field.展开更多

It is for the first time that in the common equation the natural frequencies of an n th order network are correlated with the n port parameters. The equation is simple and dual in form and clear in its physical meaning. The procedure of finding the solution is simplified and standardized, and it will not cause the loss of roots. In the fl...Through a higher-order boundary element method based on NURBS (Non-uniform Rational B-splines), the calculation of second-order low-frequency forces and slow drift motions is conducted for floating bodies. In the floating body's inner domain, an auxiliary equation is obtained by applying a Green function which satisfies the solid surface condition. Then, the auxiliary equation and the velocity potential equation are combined in the fluid domain to remove the solid angle coefficient and the singularity of the double layer potentials in the integral equation. Thus, a new velocity potential integral equation is obtained. The new equation is extended to the inner domain to reheve the irregular frequency effects; on the basis of the order analysis, the comparison is made about the contribution of all integral terms with the result in the second-order tow-frequency problem; the higher-order boundary element method based on NURBS is apphed to calculate the geometric position and velocity potentials; the slow drift motions are calculated by the spectrum analysis method. Removing the solid angle coefficient can apply NURBS technology to the hydrodynamic calculation of floating bodies with complex surfaces, and the extended boundary integral method can reduce the irregular frequency effects. Order analysis shows that free surface integral can be neglected, and the numerical results can also prove the correctness of order analysis. The results of second-order low-frequency forces and slow drift motions and the comparison with the results from references show that the application of the NURBS technology to the second-order low-frequency problem is of high efficiency and credible results.展开更多

文摘This paper presents a new method for finding the natural frequency set of a linear time invariant network. In the paper deriving and proving of a common equation are described. It is for the first time that in the common equation the natural frequencies of an n th order network are correlated with the n port parameters. The equation is simple and dual in form and clear in its physical meaning. The procedure of finding the solution is simplified and standardized, and it will not cause the loss of roots. The common equation would find wide use and be systematized.
文摘In this article, authors study the growth of Laplace-Stieltjes transform with zero order convergent in the right half-plane, define the exponential order and the exponential low order, and find the relations between them. Some results similar to Dirichlet series are obtained.
文摘Through a higher-order boundary element method based on NURBS (Non-uniform Rational B-splines), the calculation of second-order low-frequency forces and slow drift motions is conducted for floating bodies. The results of second-order low-frequency forces and slow drift motions and the comparison with the results from references show that the application of the NURBS technology to the second-order low-frequency problem is of high efficiency and credible results.

文摘A joint estimation algorithm of direction of arrival (DOA), frequency, and polarization, based on fourth-order cumulants and uniform circular array (UCA) of trimmed vector sensors is presented for narrowband non-Gaussian signals. The proposed approach, which is suitable for applications in arbitrary Gaussian noise environments, gives a closed-form representation of the estimated parameters, without spectral peak searching. An efficient method is also provided for elimination of cyclic phase ambiguities. Simulations are presented to show the performance of the algorithm.
