Methods: 80 cases of children who underwent pediatric appendicitis surgery in our hospital from March 2019 to April 2020 were included in the study. They were equally divided into the control group and the observation group with 40 cases in each group. The former was given routine care while the latter was given "zero defect" care. The nursing effect was analyzed. Results: the anal exhaust time and defecation time of the observation group were shorter than those of the control group, and the incidence of doctor-patient disputes and adverse reactions were lower than those of the control group, with significant difference (P < 0.05). In addition, compared with the control group, the nursing satisfaction of parents in the observation group was better than that in the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion: the application of "zero defect" nursing is beneficial to improve the postoperative recovery of children with appendicitis, reduce the occurrence of adverse reactions, and improve the satisfaction of children's families.展开更多
