Based on the real...Web-based education has been enjoying greater popularity because of its undeniable advantages. It has been seen as a panacea by more and more people in educational field, including language teaching. Based on the realization of the great potential brought by the development of technology, some viewpoints about the relationship among technology, teaching and pedagogy are put forward: firstly, technology is a tool, not a strategy; secondly, pedagogical concerns and theory should drive the way technology is used in education, not the other way around; thirdly, what matters more than technology is how the technology is used for learning, and how it is integrated into the daily classroom scheme so that active engagement in acquisition-oriented work take place; and finally, the change of learning environment inevitably calls for parallel changes in teaching and learning procedures. Available technologies can greatly enhance both student-teacher and student-student interaction and can afford students increased opportunities for self directed learning. The aim of this paper is to provide a comprehensive literature review on the effective role of remote sensing and web-based platform in monitoring mangrove ecosystem. The research paper utilized the thematic approach to extract specific information to use in the discussion which helped realize the efficiency of digital monitoring for the environment. Web-based platforms and remote sensing represent a powerful tool for environmental monitoring, particularly in the context of forest ecosystems. They facilitate the accessibility of vital data, promote collaboration among stakeholders, support evidence-based policymaking, and engage communities in conservation efforts. As experts confront the urgent challenges posed by climate change and environmental degradation, leveraging technology through web-based platforms is essential for fostering a sustainable future for the forests of the world.

文摘This study analyzed how impressions are formed online depending on the type of social media and the implications that may come from the over-disclosure of information. Using a Qualtrics survey, 97 participants viewed the profile of a female teaching assistant on Twitter and Facebook. While there was little difference between the two social media, the use of self-disclosure on Twitter seemed slightly more inappropriate for sharing personal information.

文摘This paper introduces the experience and practice in constructing the practical teaching system for the course“Electric Machine and Drive.”In response to the current status of cultivating innovative practical abilities among electrical engineering majors,based on the independently developed virtual simulation experimental teaching platform for Electric Machine and Drive,a stepped practical teaching process consisting of“classroom teaching-experimental teaching-comprehensive training-scientific inquiry”has been elaborately designed.A hierarchical practical teaching model for the second classroom has also been established.With teaching objectives as the optimization index,the teaching content,methods and means have been optimized;the teaching process has been organized and implemented in the form of team collaboration,thus constructing a comprehensive,stepped,hierarchical,and closed-loop innovative practical teaching system.This achievement provides references and assistance for the practical teaching of the same or similar majors in other colleges and universities.

文摘College students’safety education is an important part of the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education in colleges and universities.A questionnaire survey at J University shows that the popularization degree and teaching satisfaction of college students’safety education are relatively high,but the teaching content and teaching forms still need improvement.With the rapid development of artificial intelligence technology and considering the char-acteristics of college students’online learning in the new era,carrying out the SPOC+PBL blended teaching reform not only helps to enhance the effectiveness of theoretical and practical teaching but also contributes to optimizing the teach-ing evaluation and feedback mechanism and strengthening students’problem-solving abilities.Therefore,we should adhere to the goal orientation,meticulously design the teaching plan,highlight the student-centered approach,focus on integrating teaching resources,strengthen process management,promptly provide feedback and guidance,empower with data,and continuously improve teaching evaluation.Thus,a student-centered SPOC+PBL blended teaching sys-tem can be constructed to empower the transformation and innovation of talent cultivation in higher education.

文摘Curriculum ideological and political education is an important direction of higher education reform in the new era,aiming to realize the organic integration of professional knowledge imparting and ideological and political education.Taking preliminary landscape design course as an example,this paper expounded in detail the implementation of teaching reform from three aspects:the formulation of teaching objectives,the integration of teaching contents and the innovation of teaching methods.This paper systematically summarized the implementation effect of ideological and political education reform,and reflected on the excavation of ideological and political elements,integration degree,innovation of teaching methods,teachers’ideological and political ability and practical teaching.The exploration on curriculum ideological and political teaching provides useful reference and thinking for similar courses,and promotes the sustainable development of curriculum ideological and political education.
文摘Practical jurisprudence is a completely new proposition in legal education and research.The introduction of the concept of“practical jurisprudence”in the teaching of the Civil Procedure Law of the People’s Republic of China(the“Civil Procedure Law”)is a major innovation in terms of values and methodology.Practical jurisprudence focuses more on practical issues,Chinese characteristics,and major needs,while strengthening the practical nature of the Civil Procedure Law.China’s traditional education system for juris masters(for non-law graduates)(“non-law JMs”)emphasizes the development of foundational legal theoretical knowledge.However,it has not fully achieved its goal of cultivating interdisciplinary and practical legal professionals.Therefore,the traditional education system for the Civil Procedure Law needs reconstruction and supplementation through the practical jurisprudence teaching system in the following areas:(a)System composition:The focus should be on the eight tertiary subsystems under the two secondary subsystems—“the knowledge teaching system and the practical teaching system”of practical jurisprudence in the Civil Procedure Law,as well as the management of their interrelationships.(b)Credit structure:The proportion of credits for“practical teaching and training”should be increased.(c)Practical ability requirements:Legal professionals should be cultivated according to the standards for juris masters(for law graduates)as stipulated by the Law of the People’s Republic of China on Academic Degrees.(d)Practice evaluation:“Formalization of the evaluations,”“homogeneity of the evaluators,”and“reliance on written formats”should be avoided.

文摘The 5E model includes Engagement,Exploration,Explanation,Elaboration,and Evaluation,with“Evaluation”at the end,conflicting with teaching learning-evaluation consistency.Thus,formative levaluation is integrated into the first four stages,and a summative evaluation table is designed for the fifth,enabling students to self-evaluate and reflect.Elementary school English picture book teaching is used as an example to demonstrate the optimized model's application.
